Cat was pacing back and forth on the balcony outside her bedroom, searching the sky for any sign of her wife. "Where the hell is she?" she murmured. Then she picked up her phone impatiently. "Hey Siri, call Floaty."

"Calling Floaty," Siri dutifully replied.

"Cat…" Kara answered. "I know… I'm coming. I just had to stop to pee." She sighed. "Twice. And I have to change out of and back into my suit each time."

"Ok, Baby, I was just worried." Cat crossed her arms as she continued pacing.

"I'm sorry," the hero groaned. "I knew I shouldn't have had that second bottle of water earlier. Liv is sitting right on my damn /rrehkhtulha/ now."

"Liquid…holder?" Cat used her burgeoning Kryptonese language skills to try to translate. Then she laughed as it clicked. "Bladder. Got it."

"I don't have a bladder," Kara teased.

Cat heard a toilet flush and then a sink run as she chuckled softly. "How are the contractions?"

"Oh, about fifteen or more minutes apart. Plenty of time," the hero replied, and Cat heard the sound of wind as she shot back into the air. "I'm about a minute from you."

"Good. I already let Alex know we'd be heading her way and Abby will be here shortly. Marlene and Chase took her for a walk in the park." Cat grinned. "She's going to be so excited. It's been sooooooooo many sleeps."

"That it has," Kara laughed. "Alright, I can see you. Just about to touch down."

Cat hung up and looked to the sky as the blue speck that was her wife got much bigger very quickly and then Kara was landing next to her. She kissed Cat quickly on the lips and ran for the bathroom. "Gotta pee!" The older blonde shook her head sympathetically and followed her wife, who was now standing, looking at the tiled bathroom floor in shock. "Guess I didn't have to pee after all."

"Oh… water broke?"

The hero looked sheepishly at her wife. "Sorry. I made a mess."

Cat laughed heartily. "Why are you apologizing, /zrhemin/? We're having our baby!"

Kara's eyes suddenly moved in the direction of the hallway. "Abby's back." She set her glasses on her nose and let her suit melt away to be replaced with soft maternity leggings and an oversized t-shirt. Come on. I can't wait to tell her."

They headed for the living room and their daughter giggled as her /ieiu/ picked her up and playfully chomped at her neck.

"Guess what?" Cat said.

"What, Mommy?" Abby asked, trying to tickle her /ieiu/ and making her squirm.

"Liv is coming," Kara said with a giant smile. "And she'll be here…" But she paused and doubled over, setting Abby quickly onto the floor and then pressing her hands to the front of her thighs as she grimaced. "Whoa." She looked up at her wife then. "Cat…"

"Ooooookaaayyyy, let's talk more about this in the car," the older blonde said calmly. She took Abby's hand and then wrapped her arm around Kara's waist. "Let's go."

"Where are we going, Mommy?" the currently youngest Danvers-Grant asked.

"We're going…" Cat paused as Kara doubled over again, groaning softly. They started walking again and Cat let go of Abby to pick up the small suitcase that had been standing by the door for the previous two weeks. "Marlene?!" she yelled then.

The housekeeper ran up the hallway. "What can I do, Miss Cat?"

"Can you take Abby please and help me get her into her car seat. I have to help Kara."

Marlene smiled broadly as she lifted the little girl into her arms. "We're having a baby!" she exclaimed, making Kara laugh softly.

"Yes, we are," Cat nodded. "And we're going to be having it in the car if we don't hurry."

"Cat, this feels a lot faster than last time," the Kryptonian said worriedly.

"It's ok, Baby," the older woman soothed. "We'll call Alex from the car and tell her to have everything ready.

They were in the elevator now and Kara gripped the rail, blowing out short breaths and then groaning again as another contraction hit. The fingers marks dented into the metal bar would have to be delt with later.

"Three minutes," Cat muttered.

Then they were in the parking garage and Cat strapped Kara into the passenger seat of her Tesla as Marlene strapped Abby into her seat in the back. Cat slid across the hood to jump into the driver's seat as the housekeeper leaned in through Kara's open window to kiss her cheek and then brush her knuckles down it gently. "Rao's and God's blessings on you all," she said quietly.

"Thanks, Marlene," Kara replied with a grateful smile. "See you soon."

They peeled out of the garage, tires squeaking on the rubber-painted floor and Abby finally spoke up. "Mommy, /ieiu/ is something wrong with Liv?"

"No, Baby," Kara replied as Cat concentrated on not getting them killed as she hit the gas. "It's just time for her to be born and she doesn't want to stay in my tummy any longer. She's knocking to get out and I just have to…" She paused and groaned again, gritting her teeth. "Just have to get to Aunt Alex so she can help get Liv out."

"Oh," the little one said softly. "Can I stay with Sue? I promise I'll be a good girl while we're waiting for Liv."

"We know you will, Baby Girl," Kara said gently as she covered Cat's white-knuckled hand with her own on the steering wheel.

Worried green eyes darted to her for a second and then the older woman let out a shuddering breath. "It's going to be ok," she said, nodding a little.

"Cat-El, Of COURSE it is," Kara smiled. "We're together and we can face ANYTHING together."

"/el mayara/" Cat smiled in return.

Cat and Kara were pacing back and forth on the balcony outside DEO command ops. After rushing the hero to the birthing suite Alex had set up, her contractions had slowed down significantly. Alex was in the process of running some tests now through the sensors attached to her sister's body.

"What the hell?" she said as she reviewed the data on her tablet, face scrunched in confusion.

"WHAT?!" Cat and Kara said at the same time.

"It's just… stopped," the director said, shaking her head. "It's as if they were just…" She swallowed and looked up at her sister and sister-in law. "Braxton-Hicks. But your water broke so it can't be that."

"Are you kidding me?" Kara said loudly. Then she looked down and x-rayed herself. "Liv! What the hell, Dude!" She shook her head then. "Oh my God, she's asleep."

Just then, a red alert light started flashing on Alex's tablet and she sucked in a shocked breath. "Oh no…" She spoke quietly into her comms. "Supergirl medical team… move the contents of the birthing suite into the training room with the Kryptonite emitters, STAT. And prep for a section."

"Alex…" Kara said.

The director moved to her family, took one of Cat's hands and then one of Kara's, looking into her worried blue eyes. "Honey, Liv isn't asleep. She's unconscious." She looked at Cat, whose eyes were wide. "With all her moving around, the cord is wrapped around her and is slightly compressed. She's not getting enough oxygen so she's slightly hypoxic. We need to deliver her now, which means we're going to have to do a Caesarian section."

"But… but…" Kara stammered, barely able to take in the information.

Cat grabbed both her hands as Alex let go. "Kara, listen to me." The Kryptonian nodded, eyes frightened now. "Trust your sister. We both know she's always right."

"Yeah," Kara whispered. "Ok, let's do it."

Alex nodded and she led her family quickly toward the training room.
