Jethro had been watching his daughter as if she wanted to talk with everyone there as if she had something important on her mind. But in the meantime they had been waiting for the Chinese on when they will be able to head for the lounge to eat and relax together.
They had watched Doctor Taft to leave to set everything together. "Daddy how is everyone at NCIS? I guess there has been a number of new people over the years working?" she said with Loreile shifting in her seat.
"Yes Kelly. I had lost a number of people and including my boss for NIS before it changed to be NCIS Mike Franks killed by the Port to Port serial killer. Kate Todd another serial killer,
along with my ex wife Diane as well by another serial killer and there are others I don't wish to get into it right now."
"Loreile what about yourself?" she was asking about her life even though she doesn't mind to a point.
"I was married for a little over ten years to David Alexandria a Naval diver and his team working together with working deep underwater. We had a daughter Elizabeth for which I adored. Even though out marriage wasn't a happy one for when I had found out that he was caught fooling around three different women. I was going to divorced him when he was killed a few weeks later from a diving accident with his entire team were killed. Otherwise I lost Elizabeth in a car crash five years ago for which was my fault driving in a rainstorm to lose the brakes hitting a tree to kill her and I had mostly bruises."
"So it was mental issues for when it came to losing Elizabeth?" Kelly asked with the question as everyone was listening contently.
"Correct. I felt like I was in a black void for almost a year talking to therapists. Until I decided enough is enough with breaking out to once again to live. What about you, Kelly with starting your life?" she said with emotion and her demeanor.
"I love my new life. Don't get me wrong I was right with making the decision to come here in the first place. However with mother, she is still trying to find it hard. Though being married to Alex is great as he helps out a great deal at home and on the job. And right now his company is in trouble and he doesn't know what to do with the hackers getting into the computer systems and the drones?"
"Alex did your security people ever checked with the personnel office on who had dealt with the enemy to want to be a traitor to the United States?" Loreile asked the importance of the question with her security level at the moment...
"They were supposed to send in a report to SECNAV and the D.O.D. when I had left for the three week vacation for the first time in many years Loreile. Maybe there was some type of set up knowing that I was away?" Alex needed to take in a deep breath...
"Good question?" Gibbs had to say. "Loreile do you think that you can call your friends at the D.O.D. to find out just what us the situation with Alex's company?"
"Sure Jethro! I will get right on it now." Loreile said with moving to the far corner of the hospital room taking her cell-phone with her.
Meanwhile Alex said the following. "Do you really think we will be able to find out the truth?" he will make mention.
"I really don't know Alex? But we can sure find out?" Gibbs needed to find out.
In the corner Loreile was having the most interesting conversation with Senator Braxton. "Jake what you're telling me is the fact that the entire company is on lockdown with some intruder having broken into the computer systems of the drone program?"
"Exactly Loreile. And if this continues the United States Government will be forced to destroy the internal link to the drone system and everything that is connected any other programs."
"Are you serious Jake? It's going to cost the company billions of dollars to try to recover whatever data will be recover?" Loreile had to say on the subject.
"Correct. It's too bad this had to happened while the CEO/OWNER was away on vacation?"
"It goes to prove that it was differently an inside job?" Loreile commented softly before giving Alex the bad news.
"Good luck and I am so sorry about all this happening?" Jake will say from his office of the Pentagon.
"Thanks." she hung up the phone having a feeling that things are going to be changing quickly. She had walked over to them with Alex and Gibbs to be seeing the look on her face.
"What's wrong Loreile?" Gibbs had to say to his wife.
"Alex I had spoken with a Pentagon General. He told me there was a breach of your company with someone from the inside had placed the drone system and the entire company on lockdown in order to break into the passwords and other code systems." she said..
"This is terrible Loreile. My company along with the military and United States government are going to be losing their shirts along with the stock value of the company?" Alex was feeling depressed unable to be able to think straight.
"Now what Alex?" Shannon had something to say.
"Look I know this is not fair to Gibbs and Loreile. Since Kelly and James will be staying here. I need to fly back to California to see what I am able to do. I will be needing my wife at my side. Though we will stay for the Chinese food before heading back to the suite to call for a flight back to California."
"I am truly sorry about all this Alex in regard to your company and the drone system? hopefully the experts along with yourself will be able to figure something before you arrive?" Loreile will have to say ..
