It is Your Destiny…
Epilogue
Coruscant, Twenty Years Later
The Solo and Skywalker children gathered together at the Solo residence. Between both families, there were seven cousins present. All of them were well-adjusted, happy young adults. Each finding their own way in the peaceful universe that they had been raised in.
Most of the children were strong with the Force and enjoyed wielding this new, balanced power that they had never known differently. A few of the children were ordinary, Force blind, and happy with their own place in the family and the galaxy. They were all close and now in those years before significant others and new families began to separate them, the cousins met frequently and gathered together as friends.
On this particular occasion, one of the Force using siblings of the Solo clan had shared a discovery with the others.
"Time travel? Are you kidding?" This came from a Skywalker child.
"Time manipulation, might be a better description. A quick jump back in time to send a message and...fix some past events."
"Events like what?"
"Well, our mother did have to kill her own father."
"And our mom killed Obi-Wan on Byss and made it look like our grandfather did it," one of the Skywalkers said.
"And she cut off Uncle Luke's hand."
"Yeah," the original Solo child that had broached the topic said. "All that stuff. We could just go back-"
This sentence was cut off abruptly by the appearance of a Force Ghost. "Children," it said, nodding at all of them.
"Uh," one the Solo girls replied. "Grandfather?"
"Yes," Anakin Skywalker replied with a warm smile. And then he said, quite patiently, "Let me stop you all…right here."
~Finis~
A very short epilogue, really just a little bit of fun to finish out this epic fic.
Thanks to all of you who followed this story. After abandoning this fic for 7 years, it was returning to the reviews and reading your words of encouragement that inspired me and drove me to finish. As a vulnerable author of the written word, I can't stress enough how inspiring, encouraging and just overall nice a little positive feedback can be. So, thanks!
Also, thanks to my constant beta reader: Zyra. You've read probably a trillion written words of mine and kept me straight between the proper use of passed and past. Haha. Your encouragement, feedback and friendship has been so very much appreciated and has always made my stories better.
Lady Peter and Solo Smirk: I don't even know if you guys are around any longer, but you also helped me (7 long years ago) to keep this story going, thanks so much! You were invaluable, as well.
Thanks again!
~Push
