Taiga lied awake in bed as she stared up at the empty spot beside her and frowned, "You better get your ass home soon, you stupid dog," inhaling slowly, Taiga closed her eyes and fell into a restless slumber.
A strong aroma passed through the air and Taiga's eyes shot up as she jolted up in bed, "Smoke! What?" she jumped out of bed and ran out of the room and down the stairs to see her three children standing in front of the kitchen "Kids! What are you doing? What did I tell you about messing with the stove an-"
"Relax, Taiga," her eyes widened as she stepped closer to her children and stared into the kitchen to see her husband preparing breakfast for them before he looked back and smiled, "They know that they're not allowed to use the stove or even touch it…I just thought I'd come home and surprise everyone with a little breakfast," Taiga slowly stepped towards Ryuuji and Ryuuji arched a brow, "Is everything okay, Tai-" before he could finish, Taiga tightly hugged him and Ryuuji smiled before returning the embrace.
