Alex was excited about that his company was saved and the other fact to be going to gamble once Gibbs gets out of the hospital tomorrow. But in the meantime it was getting late for everyone and including one Leroy Jethro Gibbs yawning after such an emotional day and evening.
Alex Shook Gibbs hand to end the evening with Shannon coming over to give her first husband a kiss onto his brow before leaving. While Kelly asked James that she wanted to say something to her father alone. While Loreile and James walked out into the corridor of the lounge area. While Doctor Cyril Taft had finished his Chinese to head home to his wife Catherine.
Kelly watched them leave. Gibbs looked over at his daughter with concern in his eyes. "What's going on with you and mommy?"
"Look daddy, Mommy is scared for her life now that we had made contact with you here in the United States. But my husband had promised Shannon that the Witness Protection Program will do anything too help us out with the protection detail. Just because we had been released doesn't mean that we don't be walking around without protection from the Cartel or anyone else daddy. No doubt your own Director Leon Vance will probably be doing the same as well?"
"No doubt Kelly. Nevertheless I am here to help anyways. Especially or when it comes to the Cartel or any of my enemies from over the years." he smirked...
"Really! That many daddy after 30 plus years working for NCIS?" She joked to a certain point..."Anyway I will leave you to your rest and will see you tomorrow daddy. It was a wonderful day and evening for the most part..." she said with kissing him on the cheek with walking out the lounge to have his wife coming back inside...
"Everything okay Jethro?" she had to asked with her concern for when it comes to her husband and now his daughter...
"Everything is fine Loreile. She was just expressing concerns for their well being as with Shannon having to be a scared rabbit." he responded.
"Come on let's get you back to your room and get some sleep with tomorrow is going to be a big day for all of us." Gibbs had been sitting in his wheelchair. While Loreile needed to clean up the area with throwing out the garbage, and any leftovers to the quarters to sleep . But first she needed to called Alicia with checking up on Shane and Nathan...
Reaching his room with the sliding doors opening and with moving her husband inside. He had told Loreile that he was able to get into bed himself with taking it slow.
"Sure enough Jethro." She was able to watch him get out of the wheelchair carefully with getting into bed with lowering the bed with the remote and with switching his legs into bed and with placing the hospital blankets over him. "Good for you, baby. Hopefully tomorrow when you are home that I will be able to take better care of my silver fox sexy husband?"
He blushed slightly. "Speaking of sexy did you noticed just how handsome Colonel James Hawkins looks?" he asked with Loreile had to be thinking about it for a brief moment.
"I did." she didn't bother to say anything else with kissing her husband good night to his cheek. "Good night Jethro. Sleep well I hope this time now that we know that Shannon and Kelly are alive and well?" she said with walking out leaving him dumbfounded for a moment.
Arriving back to the Marriott hotel.
Kelly didn't bothered to say anything to her mother about visiting her father at the house. It was already too late with the evening. Her husband opened the suite with the key card with helping his wife to remove the coat and his into the hall closet.
He turned to face Kelly with placing his hands onto her shoulders. "Why didn't you get the nerve to say anything to your father about Shannon having breast cancer and it's in the latter stages?"
"I had figured that Alex will had said something for when we were first together in my father's hospital room? But instead I wasn't able to say anything. Let my father think that his first wife is alive and well?" she cried out into her husband's shoulders having to be 6 feet one inch.
"And besides all of us are going back home leaving to have Special Agent Gibbs to think differently. But for now Kelly let's try to get some rest tonight?" he said with kissing her onto her lips..."Tomorrow we will have dinner with them and it will be over with for the most part."
"Let's hope so James." he drags his wife into the suite with placing her up against the hotel door. She had always loved it when he winds up doing things like this in the sex department. However she was thinking deeply about her mother's breast cancer having found out a year ago while having a routine mammogram entering the latter stage and her doctors had been trying experimental drugs before going to the other course of removing both of her breaths.
Leroy Jethro Gibbs was having a restless night of sleep ...when all of a sudden he entered into his REM cycle for when he had received the word from his boss NIS Mike Franks that the care was found with both Shannon and Kelly having been killed in the crash caused by Pedro Hernandez.
He was on base when he had gotten the call racing to the garage area with the NIS agents going over it with a fine tooth comb. Gibbs exploded with seeing the blood since the bodies had been taken to the morgue for now. Mike Franks and another agent had to hold him back with his anger having to be strong...
