The beginnings of a new life
Chapter 113th
Shannon had a number of questions that needed to be asked about the program and the type of testing that needed to be done.
"Doctor Rolaids about the program. What is the percentage of success with your patients?" she had to know with the question starting off.
Sitting at the table drinking his coffee and Chinese. "99% Shannon. There were only a rare few that we weren't able to save since most of the patients were only a few days at death's door that the program wasn't able to work on them I might say." he croaked out with his response really bad about it. "Doctor Gilbert and Doctor Suzanne Richardson had the same percentage."
"So do you think after taking a quick look at my medical file that the program will be able to help me in the short and long run?" she asked calmly.
"I can't tell you anything Shannon until all of the tests are taken before we decide on using the program. There are a number of situations that we need to be taking a look at in your case with the phrase four breast cancer," he responded.
Shannon needed to ask the following questions. "What type of tests are you talking about Doctor?" she looked over at her husband Alex listening and munching on an egg roll and coffee.
"We need to be doing an EKG to check track of your heart with Doctor Cyril Taft to stay in touch. While an MRI, CAT-SCAN, and a number of blood tests and bone marrow. We need to be sure that there isn't going to be any other cancer in your body before using the Cell Regeneration Program." taking in a deep breath with his answering the question.
"In regard to the program itself. How long will this take once it's applied to the affected areas of my breasts?" Shannon was concerned with needing to be asking since this was her life she was talking about.
"That depends on whether the cancer is still located in your breasts Shannon and if it has moved. The program is going to take a number of days depending on how bad the cells are and where they are located," he commented. "In Gibbs case since he didn't have cancer. We used the program in order to heal his groin along with helping with restoring the blood flow and circulation that took almost two months. We had no idea this was going to take until heading into the second month that was beginning to work."
Gibbs smiled knowing how hard it was for himself and his wife Loreile.
"And if this program begins to work. How long do you think I will have to stay in the hospital?" she responded.
"It all depends on how the program will be working on destroying the cancer cells in your breasts. Once we know that all of us will decide on whether your cancer will go into remission. Does that answer your questions?" he asked
"For the most part doctor. Do you want me to enter into the hospital as soon as possible?" she looked over at Alex her husband and Jethro worried.
"As soon as everyone had some proper sleep after the ride I had getting here in the first place," he says with a loud yawn.

Sometime later...
Bethesda hospital
Doctor Cyril Taft having received a call from Gibbs letting him know that Shannon and Alex along with Doctor John Rolaids were on their way over to the hospital. This had made him feel so much better since Doctor Gilbert and Suzanne Richardson were walking around the floor anxious to be talking with their patient in his office.
Sitting at his desk. He had gotten a phone call from his wife Catherine trying to find out how he was doing.
"Are you serious Catherine? I am a wreck as with the rest of the team waiting for the prize patient to arrive after all this time. I had told you the story about Gibbs losing his first wife and daughter in that crash. But here were are now some 34 years later." he said with a deep breath...
"You will need to just take it easy Cyril. I just came from seeing the baby doctor. Doctor Angela Silvers said it can happen within the next few days before this baby boy is going to be born. So there is a lot going on for you, myself, and the entire hospital?" she insisted sitting at the kitchen table.
"Just what I need is to find out that you're going to be going into labor?" he cried out with a knock happening on his door. "Listen I need to go now with someone is knocking. Please try to take it easy Catherine?" he said with hanging up the phone and with him getting up to open up the door to be Shannon, Alex, and Doctor Rolaids. "Doctors Gilbert and Richardson are around somewhere on the phone anxious to get started?" he responded with the group walking in.
Sometime later with hearing the page. Both of the doctors headed for Taft's main office to greet up their patients.
"Shannon, how are you feeling?" Doctor Suzanne Richardson needed to ask before taking her upstairs to the tenth floor.
"Nervous and anxious to get this started with all of the testings and mostly the program." she had to say to the group while holding her husband's hand for emotional support.
"Your room is ready to take you there. However, you're not going to be there long once the technicians from downstairs in order to begin the different tests." Doctor Richardson had to say on the subject along with having to come from Orlando, Florida.
"Thank you all for having to be so nice to us with this entire situation. There are other specialists that like to be speaking to you for when it comes to your breast cancer to be sure that it's not spread any further?" she commented for the most part.
