Chapter 115

.

The alien ambassador spoke with president Odonnell about the rescue of Marissa and the capture of Vic Mackey.

.

Odonnell: The operation was completely successful then?

Ambassador: Yes mr president. Marissa is safe, and her great-grandfather has spoken with her. He says that he will make an announcement soon, we can only hope that he will be confessing why he has done the SBA's bidding, and renounce them.

Odonnell: God willing. I also appreciate you taking Vic Mackey with you, his capture of Hell's representatives would have caused more harm than good. What are you doing with those captured?

Ambassador: We're holding them in cells, trying to give some freedom of movement to those who cooperate. Killing them would just return them to Hell, no reason to think they wouldn't just be sent back. Keeping them in a prison is really the only way to prevent them from causing more damage. We have some hopes of rehabilitating at least some of them. Remind me what you're policy is for alien refugees found in America?

Odonnell: If they are suspected of being here illegally, they are given a court date, and if they are proven to be an alien they are deported to America. Some do not show up in court, they just go on the run. Some are guilty of crimes in their own worlds.

Ambassador: I know. Some are inspired in the wrong way. One group, calling itself the "Monster Squad" saved their world from Dracula and other monsters. This became a popular movie in a number of worlds, inspired others. One such group took their name, and robbed banks, for a cause that probably made sense at the time. I honestly don't know where those individuals are right now.

Odonnell: I know our system, it is not perfect, but we cannot just do a mssive deportation. But it makes the SBA just stir up more hatred.

Ambassador: Agreed. We are both doing what we can. Good luck.

Odonnell: You too.
