Loreile liked the idea of showing Kelly the attic with the baby items and different things that she might want to have for her own self.
"I highly appreciate this Loreile. I really felt bad having left my father like that in the first place. Though I was only eight years old and had no say in the matter. Mother had this haunted look on her face and I had no idea what she was doing in the first place." they continued to talk in the kitchen.
She was able to see her husband Gibbs and James come up with a small silver tin container that originally had been buried in the backyard. "My god daddy that is the container Maddie and I buried to hide it from you for the most part." she cried out as her father brings it over to the kitchen table and with opening it with the photos taken a long time ago.
"It's yours's Kelly. I have the photos I wished to have taken out of the container," he says with extreme emotion with Loreile was watching his reaction.
"Your here and alive now Kelly. It's my gift to you and mommy. If she is willing?" Jethro had to say on the subject.
"She will be daddy once she gets over her fears?" Kelly was trying to tell her father what is going on with Shannon.
Loreile came in closer realizing what Kelly was trying to say. "Is there a medical problem with Shannon, Kelly?"
Taking a moment to digest the question. Kelly had taken in a deep breath before answering. "Mother has breast cancer stage four. She had found out a year ago during a yearly mammogram. Her doctors haven't been able to stop cancer even with some chemo. But my mother has decided to die instead with a few months left. However, she had asked me a few weeks ago with reading about this new CELL REGENERATION PROGRAM that you had three times to work. She seems to think that this is the only option thinking that it might save her life and the marriage."
"Why didn't she come to me with her health problems?" Jethro asked with looking towards his wife feeling uncomfortable for the moment.
"Scare and proud at the same time daddy. She was afraid to tell you along at the same time she was fighting with me during the past few weeks with coming here in the first place. It was beginning to take its told on her and Alex." Kelly commented with needing to get up from the kitchen table.
"I am going to call her now to get herself and Alex here at the house. Loreile is going to look up the doctor's numbers so that they can speak to her about wanting to have the program?"
"I think it's a good idea daddy that you get her moving with this program before it's too late to save her life." Kelly was angry when all of a sudden her cell phone was going off like a Christmas tree. "It's Mother of all people?" she said with answering the cell-phone.
"Mother, we were talking about you?" she replied.
"Really! What were you talking about Kelly?" Shannon looked over at her husband. It was now or never.
"We were saying that you had asked me about daddy's Cell regeneration program that was done on him to save his life?" Kelly commented.
"Actually I did finally decided for Kelly to talk with those very same doctors. I WANT TO LIVE KELLY and I need to speak with Jethro if possible?" she says with emotion in her hurting demeanor.
"She wants to talk with you, daddy," she tells him as he comes over to take hold of the phone.
"Shannon I am very happy that you're made the choice to try and survive with cancer. Though this program is able to destroy any cancerous cells in your body and including your breasts." Gibbs needed to say without becoming too personal with his first wife."
"Jethro thank you for being honest with me. I just need to say that I still very much care for you and the fact that you were able to find someone that loves you deeply both inside and out," she stated with her words and to have Gibbs blushing slightly. Loreile felt bad for her husband having to be dealing with this situation altogether.
"And I understand it. By the way, since you have decided. I want you and Alex to come to the house now. Even though we made steaks earlier. I was thinking of calling for Chinese food to play poker. Though it's not a Friday night. I haven't had the group here in a few weeks since I had been in the hospital. What do you say to the offer?"
"Sure! Why not Jethro. I just might beat the pants off you since the last time I played with my husband was when we were in Paris visiting an old friend of Alex's for when he worked for NCIS with you."
"Really who?" Gibbs was anxious to know the answer as to who is Alex's friend from NCIS.
"Ziva David and her husband Tony as well with their daughter Tali and new son Anthony Leroy Jr.." she said to have him smiling.
"I know Ziva David and her husband Tony really well. The last time I had seen both of them was when I was captured in Somalia, Paraguay. They were able to help in a rescue mission with the Marines the first time around. I need to call them when I get the chance now that I am out of the hospital. Get your asses here now Shannon?" he hung up the phone to have everyone clapping and including his daughter Kelly grabbing the phone to hug him hard with the emotions running high in the house.
