Everyone was asleep in the guest room, and Paris was very beautiful at night. Lincoln was sleeping in one bed while Mason was sleeping in another, while Jesse was sleeping on the sofa, but he really didn't mind, because he can have a better view of the window over Paris before going to sleep. Everything was going perfect on this night, and the Eiffel Tower was glowing (even though this was technically called light pollution). On the positive side, snow was still falling on the ground from Luna and Sam's kiss a few hours before. As for Doctor Sebastien himself, he was looking out the window with his hands behind his back and taking a good, long look of one of the largest cities of Europe. Sebastien was really glad to bring his son, and his close friends to his homeland after being gone from France for a few decades.
Although he was born in and grew up in France, the United States is what he called him, and he couldn't be happier to live anywhere else.
Of course, it was nice visiting his homeland like this. Sebastien missed his old home and all his friends that he decided to leave behind. After all; he can always try to visit this wonderful country when he is not very busy at all. He certainly looked forward to showing everyone the famous Notre Dame cathedral on that little island in the center of Paris. Despite the fire a few years ago, this beau palais was still mostly standing, and much history was still remaining. Sebastien knew that the kids would love to see the very place where Victor Hugo made the home for Quasimodo in the original story.
While everything seemed at peace, there was a large section of Paris, and right underneath the small Pyramid of the Louvre museum was; a secret, underground base of some kind, something dastardly and detestable. There was a large group of men standing guard at many places with many kinds of guns. FAMAS assault rifles, MAS 38 submachine guns in their hands. They had bandanas on their heads and had some kind of outfit with bodysuits and armor over it like football players would have, along with masks over their mouths.
Of course, many henchmen of these people didn't wear the same thing. A couple of them looked like regular people. There was a large insigna on the hallway floors and the main chamber of this secret base. The insignias had heads of wolves with red eyes and foam at the mouth, baring their sharp teeth in an angry way, with word "Les Loups Enrages" on it. It was the very group that the heroes were notified about and what they needed to take down.
In the main chamber, there was a silhouetted man sitting in his chair and looking at the cameras that appeared to be all over Paris, and he looked sinister. Suddenly, the man that tried to rob Sebastien's friend came up to him. "Monsieur!" he said, stopping to catch his breath when he was a few feet away from the chair. "Monsieur. je suis desole. Mais, I failed in trying to get those paintings. Those little superheroes ruined everything!"
The mysterious man pounded his desk. "Tais toi (shut up!)" he said. "Do not insult moi with petty excuses. You let your guard down, Chacal."
Looking a little sad and defeated, the lead enforcer said: "Forgive moi. You're right. I shouldn't underestimate them because they are enfants."
"Clearly." the leader said. "They are starting to become a thorn on our side now. They will ruin everything in our plan to get France back to it's former glory. We'll deal with them."
"And that doctor Sebastien. What about him?" Chacal said.
"Bah. Cette petit know-it-all fool can drown in the Seine. Kill him too. He can certainly ruin everything for sure." the man replied. He sounded a little bitter like he actually knew the scientist. "But first, remember the plan. Ze Parliament will never know what will hit them, or even Macron, or the Gendarmerie if everything goes better than we expect it."
"Well they are already on to us, monsieur." said the enforcer. "What if they find us."
Chuckling to himself, this leader of this organisation replied: "Let them find us. We outnumber them greatly. There are a few hundred of us and only five of them, if not counting that scientist that I hate so much. We are not fools. It doesn't mean we shouldn't underestimate them. Zey may be kids, but they still have superpowers, almost all of them, and you should always remember that next time, Chacal. Is everything ready for tomorrow?"
"Oui." Chacal smiled. "We will be attacking le Banque National de Paris demain."
"Parfait. Let no one stop you, and do not hesitate should those little heroes cross your path again. Take all ze manpower you need to get in zat bank."
"Understood." the lead enforcer left the leader alone with the double doors closing shut.
"Soon, France will take a new height of power." said the leader. "No one will dare try to challenge me or Les Loups enrages. But, alas, i have to wait. Some things require planning."

It was a cloudy day in Paris and it stopped snowing in the city and the cities around it (Versailles, etc). It looked beautiful with the snow outside the guest house, and Luna was the first to get up, and put on a new blue unitard, and gloves before putting on her chocker with the snowflake on it after a nice shower. In the boys room, it was Lincoln who was the first to get up, and got himself a shower in the nice bathroom. While washing his hair, he heard a knock on the door. "Lincoln, is that you in there?" It was Sebastien's voice.
"Oui, i'm just taking a shower, doctor."
"Oh. Alright. I wanted to make sure everyone was accounted for. Some families from America that visit Paris have kids that like to go exploring without parents' content first."
"Well, don't worry. I'll wait for you guys to be ready before we go to Notre Dame today."
"I'm next!" said Jesse
"And then me." Mason added.
"Got it. I'll be out in a few minutes." In the girl side of the room, Luna and Sam couldn't get that kiss last night out of their hands, and it was really romantic between them. As soon as Luna was out of the shower, Sam went after. It was about ten minutes, but everyone got themselves bathed and they were ready to visit one of the most famous landmarks in France, and the world. Heading outside, they heard the sound of rushing footsteps, like men running.
It was the five GIGN team members that the French president assigned the heroes with. "Bonjour," said the men, ready to guard the visitors. "Did you all sleep well?" Sabre asked them
"Oui." the others replied.
"C'est bon." said Adewale
"Where might you be heading this time?" Chevalier asked them
"We're heading to Notre Dame." Sam replied
"Ooh. That sounds fun." Paton said. "You'll need backup just in case Les Loups Enrages tries to attack you."
"Those brutes know how to hold a grudge and seek revenge." Leclerc said.
"Well, we've handled those baddies before, mes amis." Luna said. "but one thing I k ow about superheroes fighting bad guys, is that they always try something crafty after being defeated."
"Exactly." said Sabre. "those fellow might make a more smarter and determined attempt to try and kill you all. They could appear out of nowhere and blend in with the populace as we mentioned yesterday."
The heroes and doctor looked at one another, and Luna said: "well, we can have a little help."
"yeah, they might try to snipe us from another building far away from here." Lincoln said. "I've seen it in video games all the time."
"Possibly." said Paton.
"Well it would be a good idea if they came along just in case something happens." said Sebastien. "Very well, gentlemen."
The five kind GIGN soldiers smiled gratefully, and they were liking these Americans and doctor a good deal. "Tres bien." said the five men. "We'll be sure to guard you with our lives." said Paton
"Or die trying." said Chevalier.
"Well, you don't have to go that far." said Mason.
"If you insist." said Sabre. "But just give us a holler if something is wrong in any way. We can at least guard outside the building in case something dangerous happens, like an Enrages sneak attack."
"That sounds like a good idea, monsieur." Jesse pointed. "Maybe someone should do the same with the back door too, if there is any back door."
"Of course." said Paton. "We will make sure zat those Millice don't try to disturb ze peace over the cathedral."
"Even if you guys aren't around, we'll know how to get past the obstacles in our way." Jesse added.
"We know." said Leclerc
"Well, allons-y. We'll get an escort for all of us." said Adewale.
"No need. My brother can get us there." Sebastien said. He called Arno and asked for a ride to Notre Dame, which his younger brother was more than happy to do. They all waited outside the hotel on a bench with the five troops looking serious over guarding the group. Ten minutes after, Arno got himself the mini bus and they were about to get on board, but then the GIGN soldiers stopped them
"Wait a minute. We need to check zis vehicle just to be sure it is safe." Sabre said before he and his troops inspected the van. It took over thirty seconds, and they all got out before the leader said: "it's all clear. Go ahead in." Everyone did just that, and they could hardly wait for Notre Dame. Luna sat next to her little brother with Sam on her other side.
Curious, she asked: "You excited to see that cathedral, little bro?"
"Totally! I remember seeing the Hunchback movie years ago. I honestly didn't think we would actually go in and see the actual place."
"Me neither." Luna agreed. "It's gonna be awesome, Lincoln. I know it."
"As long as the bells don't ring." Sam pointed.
"Yeah. I would hate to get up on that bell tower and they all just rang the place on the same floor." Luna said.
"Well don't worry." said Leclerc. "We'll be sure that they don't ring the bells in your presence. After all, they might recognize you all and your accomplishments.
"Well, I wouldn't go that far." Mason admitted. "We are superheroes after all, and..." he looked at Lincoln to try and be more sensitive around him. "we have powers. And Lincoln is still a very important part of the team." he looked at the white-haired boy. "Even if he doesn't have powers, he will always come around when we need him the most."
Luna gave him a hug on the side and she replied: "That is too right, mate! nothing can ever replace him. As long as you're my baby bro, Lincoln, nothing will ever replace ya." she even gave him a kiss on his left cheek with a cold feeling on his face. It was also a warm feeling, knowing that he will always be important to his big sister and the rest of the team of Superheroes."
"I think you're lucky to have a sister like that, Lincoln." said Chevalier.
"I agree." Adewale added. "It's always a good thing that siblings look out for each other."
"Oui. I agree." Lincoln smiled with a warm feeling. The Seine river looked as beautiful as ever, even on a cloudy day in the city of Lovers. It took about a few minutes and even five more minutes because of a small traffic jam. But, nevertheless, they managed to get to the island, and take a good, long look at the cathedral right in front of them. All the teens and Lincoln looked at in in awe at how big it looked in person. Many people coming and exiting the cathedral noticed the heroes, and they cheered for them all for the great accomplishments they did. A group of people even asked for autographs from the heroes, whom gladly agree to do.
Luna, Sam, Mason, Jesse, and Lincoln all took autographs from many people like they did in the Pantheon the day before. After it as done, the group went inside Notre Dame to look at the beautiful scenery of the interior while the GIGN soldiers stayed outside to stand guard like knights in a castle. The hallways were grand and so were the large, stain-glass windows in style of mosaics. It was a little sad that Notre Dame caught on fire, but most of the relics survived and didn't get destroyed. The big upside was the cathedral was not entirely destroyed, and it was a good thing too. They all split up in the cathedral to look at some amazing artifacts and statues of the interior.
Organs were playing in the center, and everyone got a glimpse of the church music playing, fitting the atmosphere of the church quite nicely. Looking around for twenty minutes, the group came back together, and wanted to see the upstairs part of the church. "How are we going to get up there?" said Sam. "Sure we can fly, but we don't want to damage the place."
"Good point." said Mason
"Bonjour. Bienvenue." said an elderly voice. A middle-aged man wearing a priest uniform, or a high-priest outfit, coming to greet the six. "Forgive me, but are you all Luna Frost, Lincoln Loud, Color Fire, Electrifier, and Meteor by any chance?"
"Oui, monsieur." said Luna. "You've heard of us too?"
"Of course I have." the man smiled. "Forgive me, but je m'appelle Michel Aupetit. I am the prelate of Notre Dame. I have heard so much of your accomplishments, and I give you all welcome to this sacred landmark."
"Merci beaucoup. Lincoln smiled. "Excusez-moi, Michel, but how do we get up in the towers to see the bell and the cool gargoyles?"
"Normally, you would need a museum pass, but because of your amazing, heroic deeds, I will certainly make an exception. Come with me and I will show you ze towers."
"And you won't ring the bell in front of us, will you?" asked Mason
Chuckling, Michel smiled and replied: "No of course not. We only ring the bell on special occasions." They followed the nice and kindly prelate upstairs to take a look at the tower and some of the cool, yet creepy gargoyles around the spires. "So tell me, how do you all like it in Paris on your visit?"
"It's beautiful." said Jesse.
"I know it's called the city of lovers, but... wow." said Sam. "It even looks so bright at night."
"Oui, it is always beautiful in Paris." Aupetit agreed. "I give you all praise for being heroes and saving innocent lives from certain events. God thanks you, and blesses you with his kind heart."
