54. Amy leaped onto a rock in the middle of a stream, and was trying to catch a robotic fish that had swiped one of the important artifacts that could lead them to another crystal, as Tails flew from above, and Knuckles was building a dam to keep the robot fish in the stream before it got away. Sonic… well, he wasn't gonna get in the water… "He's over there! no! there! come on, people! move it! He's not that fast!" Sonic was racing back and forth, annoying everyone as he did absolutely nothing but badger them… "Come on, guys! pick up your feet!" "SONIC, SHUT UP!" Tails finally screamed. "Got it!" Amy had grabbed the fish but it quickly started dragging her around the steam. "Amy!" Knuckles was about to finish the dam before he got distracted, and the fish jumped over the small dam as Amy went flying behind it, having a hold of it still. "HEE-EEE-EEELLPP!" Amy was being dragged downstream, as a waterfall lay close ahead. "Sonic! The waterfall!" Tails warned, as Sonic dashed down, finding a tree and trying to use it to reach her, he probably could of, but Amy threw the fish at him instead, thinking it was more important as she closed her eyes and fell down the water fall. "NOO!" Sonic had caught the fish out of surprise and reflex, but quickly threw it behind him and ran as fast as he could down the waterfall's edge before leaping and grabbing Amy, falling to the water himself as well. Knuckles grabbed the failing fish and the artifact as him and Tails then bolted down to see the two. Sonic and Amy washed up on the shore, in each other arms, and unconscious…. they woke up the next morning beside each other too, as Sonic grew nervous and quickly backed away from her, "Wha-oah! What happened?" He rubbed his bruised head as Amy got up too, blinking her eyes. "You don't remember?" Tails stated, putting the artifact down and walking to the two with towels. "Sonic jumped and broke your fall, Amy. The current took you the rest of the way." Sonic and Amy looked at each other, then Amy blushed as the two then looked away. "T…thank you… Sonic." She stated, "I mean.. I know how much you hate the water so…" Sonic chuckled lightly, "Well.." he started, "To be honest, I don't think I was thinking of the water… at that moment, anyway." he scratched his head, as Amy looked back to him and swooned silently.
55. Amy is finding it hard to believe that her fortune states, "She'll meet the man of her dreams." because she's 120% percent sure she's already met him, and he's Sonic! Sonic is almost giddy at the fact that he's about to meet Amy's 'Dream Guy' until Tails and Knuckles start making assumptions. Sonic gets insecure because he starts realizing if Amy's dating some guy she won't be around anymore. Quickly thinking up a solution, Sonic starts guarding Amy, keeping any guy away from meeting her. At the end of the day, Eggman attacks, and a blast of his flings Amy and Sonic away from the battle for a moment. They land together and Sonic is on top of Amy as he weakly asks if she's alright. Amy remembers a dream she had where Sonic protected her from a blast in a fight, and she widens her eyes as she realizes the 'dream guy' was Sonic all along! She starts bursting out laughing, "I can't believe i was so scared of a silly fortune cookie!" she laughs harder, as Sonic looks confused. "But wait… you are?" "I was! haha! But not anymore!" She gets up as he looks puzzled at her, "Wait…why!? uh.." he mutters when she walks away, "I'm concerned…" he states, almost annoyed, as he runs after her to help fight Eggman. Tails's prediction comes true as he meets a fellow scientist to share in technical talk with, Knuckles magically learns to cook the perfect sandwhich and wins a cooking competition he didn't even sign up for, and Sonic never opened his fortune cookie, not liking those things. When they get home though, Amy opens it to see this, "You will discover something you've had with you all along is more special than you thought it was. Keep it safe." Amy then recounts how he was keeping her with him all day, and didn't let any guy who tried to talk to her near her. She giggles and puts the note back in the cookie, before throwing it at Sonic. "Here! since the day is done, no harm in reading your fortune now right?" Sonic looks at the cookie, but throws it away, "Nah, I still don't believe in fortunes, after all, you didn't meet any 'dream guy' today so.." he walks off as Amy sighs, "Idiot…" she mutters and walks to her room.
56. Who is that girl I see? A new girl walks into the frame as she tries to join the team and tare everyone apart. She's mostly aiming for Tails, wanting his inventions and planning to sell secrets to Dr. Eggman. Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails have fallen for her, but Amy seems to know better. The girl doesn't feel like Amy's much of a threat, nor holds many secrets, before she realizes Amy is the groups archaeologist, and tries to befriend her. Through Amy's jealousy, she denies any friendship and information, merely small talk, as the girl starts to get enraged. She separates the boys from Amy as Amy finally has the last straw. "Sorry Amy but uh…" "I think she's got it, why don't you um… take a break.. or something?" "Vacation! Yeah! You've worked hard so maybe you should let her take this one, eh?" Sonic puts a hand on Amy's shoulder, and the hurt from all of their words sets in as Amy looks down with shadows over her eyes. "Sure.. yeah… no problem." when the boys leave, Amy looks up with fire in her eyes, probably the first time Amy's ever hated someone so much. "She leaves TONIGHT!" Amy follows the girl as she sneaks out to give secrets to Eggman, and single handedly stops the plan. The boys ask the next morning where the girl is, and Amy, while doing her nails, simply smiles and states, "She seems to have found other company, it seems~" The next scene shows her tried up with Eggman and his robots, as Eggman has chibi tears saying, "Hell have no fury like a woman's scorn…"
