Chapter Trust: Indeed It Is

Jet ran to put sticky tape onto Metal's head and body.

"Thank you, bird-person," said Metal metallically. He hated Metallica.

"Banjo and Kazooie are doing a great evil…" said Jet with tears on his beak. "Can you do rifle madness to them now that you have the head on your shoulders goodly?"

"Nay…" Metal broke his arm off and slapped Jet in the face with it. "See what I mean?"

"Oh yes!" said Jet gratefully. He looked over to Ray and Charmy. "GET HIM, GUYS! HELP!"

Ray heard the cry for help with his listening ears specifically for avian folk. He turned to Charmy with eyes of acceptance.

Charmy shuffled his deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards vigorously and dealt them into Ray's open maw. Ray's holiness decreased due to the spells and traps, but his muscles expanded greatly. Some would say his abdominals were gettin' saucy!

"Oh my…" said Metal, reacting to the sight of Ray's index finger up in the air. He looked severely disco-like.

"I curse Saturday Night Fever… but this is truth…" said Ray as he became enveloped by the new powers. The ground beneath his steel-toe boots gave way and lava spurted up like chaotic madness.

As Charmy dealt the final card, Ray got beefier than a buffalo at the cheeseburger fair.

"Man… this is so American…" said Jet with eyes of wondrous qualities.

"I am wondrous too!" cried Ray, flexing his grandeur in front of the evil Banjo.

"Guh-huh?" Banjo said in realization of the terror. "What a nightmare this is!"

"Indeed…" said Ray. At that instant, Ray's body gained the power of greasy leather jacket unity. He had truly become the one and only John Travolta.
