Butterflies!

Prompt: quadrilateral
Pairing: Albus/Grindelwald

Of course he would try to choose his own personal symbol after taking one too many hits off his skull bong. Because that was a brilliant idea that Grindelwald had to try.

"Oh, but Albus don't you see?" Grindelwald slurred, collapsing against his partner. "The herbs help to facilitate my visions. It enhances them, so that I may see correctly." He coughed into his closed fist. "By the way, do you have any chocolate cupcakes? I'm feeling rather peckish if I do say so myself."

Albus sighed and helped him walk over to the couch. Grindelwald sat down heavily, and Albus knelt down in front of him.

"What do you see?" he asked, holding the seer's hands.

"Shapes," Grindelwald snorted. "I see spiraling colors, glittering colors. Oh, and one tiny butterfly."

"Alright, that's a start. Anything specific that looks as though it could serve as a symbol of our cause?"

"There's a butterfly, Albus," said Grindelwald, a wide grin plastered across his face.

"Yes, Gellert. I know."

"And now there are more butterflies."

"Gellert - "

"Hello, little butterflies!"

Albus sighed.

"But I don't know what these shapes are," the seer stated, dragging his words out lazily. "I see some angles and pointy things, and very much sparkling neon blue."

"Is it quadrilateral?"

"Is it what?" Grindelwald asked, sounding thoroughly puzzled.

"Quadrilateral," Albus repeated. "A quadrilateral is a polygon with four edges and four vertices or corners. Sometimes, the term quadrangle is used, by analogy with triangle, and sometimes - "

"Triangle?" asked Grindelwald, cutting him off in midsentence. "Oh, to hell with all this nonsense! I'll just use the symbol of the deathly hallows. That's a perfectly good triangle right there. And with enough space that you could soar a colony of butterflies through one side and out the other. For the greater good, of course."
