Boom!Sonamy prompt: Amy is out exploring when Lyric kidnaps her and Sonic goes after her and its a trap, like lyric used her as bait. Amy is in a cage when sonic gets there (she looks terrified out of her mind) , and Sonic gets like reallllllly mad and turns into DARK SONIC! :D And amy witnesses the whole thing. Afterwards, Sonic is self concious about his dark form! (Im sorry this is long but I really wanna see this play out! Thank u!)

(This has a little of my -fanfiction- Dark Sonic because of the electricity of chaos energy and the glowing white eyes. The picture has the spikes of Boom!Sonic so I thought it fit :) It's kinda sad… Dark Sonic had the most potential in the Sonic X plot but never got to shine since the series stopped. -cries- but I still long for the day Dark Sonic returns in a game or at least SOMEWHERE. And Dark Sonic leading to Sonamy..

Okay! on with the story! :D

Amy gets captured, is really scared, yadda yadda, pretty much everything you said and then-!

"If you wish to live, Sonic. You have to pay the price!" Lyric reels his head back, swishing his tail as the claw set upon it spins and robots fall all around Sonic, holding a device. "All organic lifeforms have an end, but but a machine can never die! That is your weakness, Sonic! You are too feeling, too mortal, too…hahaha… vulnerable…" He looked over to Amy, in her containment force field as she looked heartbroken. Sonic was about to be incinerated and it was all HER FAULT! She was the one that disobeyed orders and fought with the team just because she thought it best to keep trying to find the 'rumored' crystal.

Tails said it sounded like a trap, and all the crystals were already found but she was a fool…

"Sonic.." She pleaded in the cage, as her eyes looked longingly to him, but also felt heavy due to her guilt at being so blind. She didn't DARE cry but at the same time.. her eyes got watery, betraying her. "I'm so sorry.. Sonic! Sonic! I'm sorry!"

"So predictable.. so stupid… so incredibly and annoying loud!" Lyric hissed, and banged his tail into the cage, making it wobble and spark, causing her to lose her balance and fall down. "Quiet you, your job is already done… might as well get rid of you too.." he took his tail and picked up the top of the cage, then looked to Sonic.

Sonic stared with narrowed eyes, glaring up at Lyric, and tightened his fist, taking a step forward as the robots prepared to fire,… a warning that he shouldn't move?

Sonic wasn't used to thinking things through, that's what Tails was for. Yes, he was smart, cleverly so, and charming, and handsome… wait, he's getting off topic. The point is he was used to going by reflex, instinct, the heat of the moment, the spur of the setting, … not this.. not the beat of his accelerated heart and worry over his friend. He could keep his cool on the outside… but within himself, he wanted to shout out his anger and frustrations! Something was boiling inside him.. and if Lyric striked her cage again…

"Lyric, Don't!" he cried out, holding up his hand as if to gesture for him to stop.

"Hehehe… life… it's such a… delicate waste of resources…" Lyric smirked as he looked to Amy in the cage, now stroking the side of it before tossing it over his shoulder to a large volcanic crevasse, except, no ice!

"AMMMY!" Sonic tried to run to her.

"FIRE!" Ordered Lyric, hissing the words out as he laughed when his minions did so.

A huge light was seen, before the blast was reflected and the robots all taken out by a mysterious lightning force of powerful dark energy…

"W..what is this!?" Lyric bellowed, swerving back with his body to see Sonic bent down, glowing dark, before opening his glowing white eyes and shouting out in rage, flying over Lyric and down to the lava.

Lyric fearfully turned around, and slithered over to the edge, looking down…

ZOOOOOOM!

"AHHH!" Lyric pulled away as wind rushed by him, taking tiny fire spurs with it and up all in his face as Sonic floated in the air, holding Amy who he broke out of the cage and saved before she and the cage completely metled over.

"H-how can this be?! What are you..?"

"…I don't know."

"…?!"

Sonic dove down toward Lyric, letting Amy's legs go and holding her with one hand as the other reached out for Lyric.

All Amy could hear was his cry as the world went black, and she awoke in paradise.

Looking around, she was confused, and her head hurt for some reason.

Sonic was normal again, looking at his hands with his back behind her, and staring at his reflection in the clear and beautiful river.

"..S..Sonic?"

"…What happened to me..?"

"..Sonic?"

Sonic turned around, he looked terrified, as if he had done something inhuman.

"..Sonic, wha…" Amy took a gulp, not used to seeing Sonic look like this. He was usually so confident and carefree… "Sonic, What happened?" she extended her hand to him, and he shook his head, swiping her hand away from him.

"N-no… stay back! Get away from me!" he clutched his head, "AHHH! I can't fight back the rage!"

"What rage?! Sonic, you're.." He was slowly morphing back into that dark version of himself, as Amy stared in horror as the lightning built up around him, before he exploded with power and shouted again. The power wave knocked her over, but she quickly leaned up and looked back at him, as it seemed a new figure stood before you.

"…Sonic?"

"…I think so." It stated, glaring down at her, speaking very plainly but with slightly harshness to it, as if ready to kill at any moment it saw fit too.

"..Sonic, s-snap out of it! What is happening, I-"

"…" Dark Sonic walked up to her, and bent down, gripping her arm. "You almost died…"

"Ow! Sonic! Th-that hurts!" she tried to pull away but his grip was like steel, she wasn't able to even make him budge.

"..It upset me…"

"W-well I'm fine now! Let me go!" she was getting scared, as he pulled her closer to him and place another hand on her throat.

"You could STILL die…"

Amy couldn't tell if that was worry taken to another degree of over-protectiveness, …

Or a threat.

Amy tried to get her breathing back, and slowly moved closer to Dark Sonic, "..I'm here.. look, I'm okay." She didn't want to anger him anymore, she wanted to just let him know it was alright and he didn't have to be upset or enraged anymore. "I'm safe, look." She took his other hand, that slowly came off her neck by her touch and reassuring but weak smile, and placed it up to the side of her face. "I'm fine. You saved me. I'm alive. I'm well. All thanks to you. No need to be afraid anymore.." She slowly moved in and hugged him, as Dark Sonic froze there, not even blinking.

"…I'm right here, Sonic. Please don't worry."

"I'm here, right with you."

Having her safely in his arms, Dark Sonic began losing his power, feeling Sonic's true hate failing and falling away, he was sapped away and burried deep within Sonic as he woke up, being the same blue hero we know and love, as he shakingly took Amy and held her close.

"What's happening to me?" he asked, truly feeling he now harbored a monster inside of him.

"…I don't know, but…" Amy wiggled herself more up against his shoulder, and deeper into his embrace. "All I know is… I won't let it happen again."

(And there you have it! :D what do ya think? I sure do love me some Dark Sonamy XD lol, and boom for that matter too? haha! simply grand!)

(I like to think that Dark Sonic is the 'usually negative chaos energy' inside Sonic that is fueled by his rage, fear, and desire. It's a dark entity of Sonic… but not really him. But the embodiment of those three things or more. :) You like?)

AUGH, I JUST, I LOVE DARK SONIC OKAY?! (I really love dark sonamy, so I just… when they gave the prompt I…) ALSO THANK YOU SO MUCH, PRECIOUS ANON! :DDD

I don't know what's wrong with me, but having Amy be the only way Dark Sonic has of calming down and him being a slightly altered dark version of Sonic just intrigues me to no end. I REALLY WISH HE WAS IN A GAME OR SOMETHING! -cries- but Boom!continuum doesn't seem to have a plausible way to bring him in.

Dark Sonic needs a power source. I usually make it 'Negative Chaos' which feds on ones negative emotions and is what happens when Chaos is not controlled. When Chaos takes over you, in other words. (Cause they always say, "Chaos Control!" well… what if it was out of control? There you have it! :D Anger can cause a loss of focus with controlling Chaos inside of you resulting in it taking over and controlling you instead.)

Anyway, continuing from where I left off with this (x) Prompt.

(I FOUND ONE! :DDDD)

Because of that incident, Sonic has withdrawn himself from his friends, and decided to seclude himself away, far into the dangerous sides of the jungle, bent on venting his rage so that he can return to normal. But with each time he changes, the harder it is for him to snap out of it, and calm down.

Worried for his condition, Tails tries to make a machine to literally 'suck him dry' of whatever power is being drawn out through his anger, and that may be keeping him angry.

Eggman, sadly learns of this predicament that Sonic is in, and decides to use it to his advantage. "If Sonic loses control of himself, then I will have a free pass to a one way ticket to THE EGGMAN EMPIRE TAKEOVER! Ohh~ It sounds so much fun~!" Eggman finds Sonic, who is not ready to take him on just yet again, and gets zapped with a machine he made to increase Sonic's emotional state of mind. Unable to register simple things anymore, he's now thrown into a critical state of hysteria. Completely mentally disconnected from reality, his Darker Side uses his fear, anger, and desires to completely take over him, and be the only being controlling his body now.

Destroying Eggman's fleet and almost killing Eggman, Amy finds Dark Sonic as Eggman moves back to regroup. "EEEEeee! He's all yours, Pinky!" Eggman scrambles to get off the ground and runs toward his Eggpod, getting away to try another comeback attack.

Dark Sonic slowly turns his attention to her, but it's hard to tell since he doesn't really have eyes to show what he's looking at.

"Sonic.. Sonic, it's me! You have to let go of your anger now! You're fine-"

He charges her and hits her back, leaving her to crash through the thicket and get slammed against a tree.

She is forced to fight him, and the battle is going no where since he keeps driving her back, and not letting up. It seems he isn't getting tried either, as she realizes he's not able to really understand her or know who she is.

"..Alright… Alright, you're not Sonic. I see that now.." she looks at her hammer, which he previous just bent and tore apart the last one she summoned. She threw it down, as he was walking over to her, ready to fight again before he saw her throw her only offensive weapon away.

"…There. I'm not a threat to you anymore." she spread her arms open, surrendering, as he glared back, not saying a word. "I won't strike you. So there's no reason to attack me!"

He watched her for a minute, before rushing in to deal some heavy blows on her. She was flung to the ground and remained still as he kicked her, trying to get her up.

"Augh! I won't fight you!" she stated through gritted teeth, trying to slowly get up off the ground before he slammed his foot on her back, keeping her down.

"..What creature doesn't fight back?… You are going to die at this rate…"

The voice was Sonic's, but slightly different, more… harsh and cruel,… but curious… unaware… innocent almost to the workings of the world.

"Why do you not fight for your life?"

"..Because…Because I love you."

Dark Sonic tilted his head, not sure what this meant.

"I wouldn't hurt Sonic… not my friend. You may not be Sonic, but you're a part of him… twisted from something we're not sure of… but… but you're still Sonic! Somewhere in there… please Sonic, look at me. Think really, really hard…" She turned to let him see her face, as he stared a moment, and moved his foot to bend down and get a better look.

"..The creature from the heated river…"His eyes widened.

"..You mean the lava ditch?"

He picked her up, holding her from the back of her clothes near the neck.

"H-hey! L-let me go!" Amy flailed in the air, as he looked her over.

"I remember now… you upset me. I know not why, but I didn't want you to die."

"Yes! That's right! Now hold me properly!" she demanded, as he set her down and twitched when she looked like she was going to attack him, readying to strike her but she was just dusting herself off. "Phew! I thought you really were gonna kill me for a second there…"

"…I was."

He stated this with little to no feeling, just… as if nonchalantly stating a fact.

Amy flinched a bit and looked to him a bit scared, but tried to remain calm as she offered her hand to him.

He got ready to fight again, and she quickly withdrew it, "N-no-no-no! I'm not gonna hurt you, this is a … uh… handshake?" she couldn't believe Sonic had forgotten a friendly handshake… he used to love high-fives…

Dark Sonic raised an eyebrow, not moving as dark matter decreased around his being, making him less black and more a dark blue. Already she was calming him down from within.

"I'm Amy! Amy Rose!" she offered him her hand again, and he seemed to lean forward to sniff it. "W-wha!? No, no, you take it." she stated.

"Why?"

"It's a sign of friendship."

"No… I meant, why just your hand?"

"…Excuse me?"

He suddenly grabbed her waist and pulled her to him. "Why just your hand,… when I can take all of you?"

Her eyes widened as a silly look came over her face, blushing as she shook her head, realizing he wasn't meaning it that way. "C-cause you don't own me!"

"I spared your life. If you wish to remain alive, remain with me."

She gulped.

"I know not why, but… I want you near me, and I want you alive. Therefore… I want all of you, not just your pathetic hand."

"Hey! My hands are soft! thank you very much!" she moved out of his grasp, not liking … completely… what he was saying but was still taken aback by it nonetheless.

Eggman suddenly roared, "ATTACK!" as his robots had regrouped and started firing.

Turning into a bit of a emotionless beast, Dark Sonic rushed in front of Amy, pulling her forcefully to him and to the side of him, behind his next deadly attack as he raised his hand to Eggman's men, and furrowed his brows.

"Strange… I have no wish to spare this creature's life…"

"Wha…what?" Amy was afraid Sonic was about to murder Eggman, and quickly took his hand as he charged it with electrical dark power. "Stop! You can't kill! Killing is wrong!"

"…Move."

"I won't! Please! You… you have me now, okay!? So just… just run off with me and leave him be!"

"…Will you stay?"

"What?"

"If I spare these eyesores… will you remain by me? Or else you die."

"Wha-huh!?" He stated this so… unemotionally that Amy couldn't tell if he was being serious or not. "W-why..?"

"…Because then you'll be mine. And I won't have to kill you. I can protect you instead."

He lowered his hand and tilted his head.

"If not, you can die. Or I'll take you anyway. Point is…"

he leaned forward, taking Amy off guard as she moved back and almost tripped over a rock, he caught her in a quick movement, barely even showing a phase of his movement to catch her. That's how fast the dark energy improved his performance in battle, making him faster and stronger than ever.

"…Do you wish to die?"

now that, that sounded like a threat. Tone and all, no more 'simply stating' anymore.

"I..I'll…I'll go." she barley got the words out, but was too shocked and scared for Sonic and Eggman's life to say anything more.

He looked up, seeing a metal figure coming his way, flying through the sky toward him.

"Metal Sonic!" Amy gasped, realizing why Eggman had pulled back in the first place.

He was summoning his best line of defense…

Dark Sonic pulled her over his shoulder, making her yelp as he blasted off, shot a few electric power surges out of his hand toward the army, but not killing Eggman, according to his agreement with Amy, and took off.

(That's where I'll leave it for now xD BUT UGH. CAN YOU SEE WHY I LOVE HIM SO?!~3)
