130. Unlucky Ash

Ash has won the 6 Pokemon Matches of World Coronation Series in just two days and he got the rank 273. After achieving the 6 victories, he had developed his ego.

In the Cerise Laboratory, Ash is so confident and he went outside along with his Pokemon for a next PWC match.

Serena was worried about Ash.

Then, Ben came in and asks Serena, "Serena, what's wrong?"

"I was worried about Ash. After he has won the 6 PWC matches in two days, he became egoistic. He is so lucky but became a little bit rude to us." Serena said.

"I see. That reminds me where I became a galactic hero and developed my ego since two years ago. After that, I realised that the title doesn't make a good person, it was... kinda feeling is..." Ben said.

"Humility? Yes, humility. The feeling of realisation for what a person have done a mistake and never ever repeat that again." Serena said.

"I hope Ash will be humiliated and drop his ego." Ben said.

"Me too." Serena said.

Unbeknownst to the heroes, Charmcaster heard everything and whispered, 'Oh, Ash has luck, eh? I will drop his luck and humiliate him!"

Charmcaster then disappears.

In the Vermilion City, Ash is challenged by a girl and he had Lucario to battle the girl's Crustle.

"Lucario, use Aura Sphere!" Lucario launches the ball of blue energy at Crustle.

"Crustle, hide in your shell!" Crustle withdraw its face, pincers and legs to protect himself from Lucario's Aura Sphere but, failed, knocking it back.

"Crustle!" A girl shouted.

"We're getting a lucky chance! Lucario, finish this match with Close Combat!" Lucario tried to use Close Combat against a weakened Crustle.

Charmcaster stealthly pours the unlucky powder on Ash.

Lucario was about to defeat Crustle when he tripped and hit on Crustle thus gaianing the latter's consciousness.

"Okay, Crustle! Use... Shell Smash!" Crustle's shell has shattered but, it gave more power and strikes off Lucario, defeating him.

Lucario was defeated by Crustle.

"Lucario is unable to battle. Crustle is the winner, which means the girl is the winner. She will gain 167th rank while Ash gets 299th rank!" Rotom announced.

"What?! Okay. I always be not the winner as per Serena told... Guess, I should prepare for the next match." Ash said and he recalls Lucario using the Poke Ball. "Good job, Lucario. Take some rest..."

Ash then walks away.

In the streets, Ash is walking then a pile of iron bars falling upon him.

However, Ash survived in the Burst Form of Solgaleo and he undid his Burst transformtion.

"Dang it! What the hell is going on with me?! Why am I having a bad luck?!" Ash asked himself and he walked away, trying to forget the bad luck memories.

The man, riding in bicycle loses balance and the hot noodles fall upon Ash, burning him.

"YEEOOOOOWWWWWWW!" Ash shouted and he rushed back to Cerise Laboratory.

In the Cerise Laboratory, Ash cleaned himself and later, he became depressed.

The heroes were worried about him.

"Ash, what's wrong?" Goh asked.

"My luck is bad. I lost a PWC match, I got hit and burned badly. My life is worst than ever!" Ash said.

Serena got mad and slaps Ash, "Why are you so depressed like a weak person!? You are brave, smart, kind, compassionate and caring young man, right?! I don't like you being depressed! I won't talk to you if you behave like a kid!"

"Ash, look. Being lucky is good but, if you go to be happy go to like guy, you won't get happiness." Ben said.

"Yeah, bad luck may improve your character sometimes." Goh said.

Gwen sensed the energy of unluck in Ash.

"Guys, I can sense the unluck of Ash." Gwen said.

"What? Really?" Ash asked. "Who did that?"

"I knew it. Charmcaster as usual. She poured the unlucky powder on you and you got messy things." Gwen said.

"Damn you, Charmcaster! I am coming!" Ash goes out but he tripped and hurted his knee. "YEOW! OW OUCH!"

"Gotta help that boy. I am feeling bad for him." Serena said.

Julie had an idea. "Eureka!" Julie wears Ash a lucky cowboy costume. "Happy now? This is your lucky cowboy costume!"

Ash sighed in dismay.

Then, alert rang from Proto TRUK 2.O.

"Oh no. Charmcaster is in the Mt. Moon. She is trying to capture the Clefairy!" Gwen said and the heroes boarded to the Proto TRUK 2.O they flew to Mt. Moon.

Mt. Moon

In the Mt. Moon, the heroes arrived and intervenes Charmcaster's work.

"Charmcaster stop!" Ash shouted.

Charmcaster turns around to see heroes and she saw Ash wearing a cowboy costume, much amusing to that sorceress.

"BWAHAHAHAHA! That boy wearing a cowboy costume is so funny!" Charmcaster said.

"What did you say?!" Ash asked. "Then, hear our roar!"

"Burst!" Ash and his friends sent out their primary Pokemon before combining with them using the Burst.

Ash is in Pikachu Burst Form but, his lucky clothes haven't disappeared yet.

"Electrifying Pikachu! Lucky Burst Silver!" Ash said.

"Striking Cinderace! Burst Red!" Goh said.

"Speedy Boltund! Burst Green!" Chloe said.

"Prideful Prinplup! Burst Blue!" Dawn said.

"Magical Delphox! Burst Pink!" Serena said.

"Spiky Quilladin! Burst Yellow!" Clemont said.

"Hearts of the Warriors and the Pokémon unite as one! We are..." Ash said.

"Burst Warriors!" The kids said in unison as the explosion occurred from behind.

The explosion's fire catched on Ash's cowboy clothes much surprise to him and the heroes.

"I am on fire! I am on fire! I am on fire!" Ash screamed like a helpless person.

The heroes helped Ash by extinguishing the fire on Ash's cowboy suit.

Charcaster burst out laughing at the scene, much to Ash's outrage.

"Hey! I will-" Ash goes and he trips, hurting his leg. "OW!"

"Ash, are you alright?" Serena asked in worry.

Ash became sad and Charmcaster was unable to hold his laughter as she laughed continously.

Ash was angry and shouts like a lion before he unleashes his Savage Mode as he ran to Charmcaster wildly.

Charmcaster threw many mana balls at him but he endured before jumped on her, causing an electrical explosion.

The explosion caused Charmcaster to be flying out of sight.

The heroes later freed the Clefairy.

Ash fell to the ground happily and he's gald that unluck powder that stained his body is gone.

In the Cerise Laboratory, Serena is serving the food to all of the heroes and she gives a rice with tomato-potato curry to Ash but, refuses.

"Hey, what was that for?!" Ash asked.

"What's the lesson?" Serena asked.

"Yeah, never ever be prideful after achieving many goals. Sorry for being rude guys." Ash apologized.

"It's okay. Let's enjoy our lunch!" Goh said and the heroes started eating lunch.

As Ash eats the first spoon of rice with tomato potato curry, his mouth got burned.

"AAAAHHH! My mouth got burned!" Ash shouted.

"Empoleon, use Hydropump!" Dawn had Empoleon to extingiush Ash's burning mouth.

"Thank you." Ash said.

"Uh, sorry for that. It has some spice in it." Serena giggled cutely.

"You should've lessened the spice in the curry." Ash said.

"I guess your unluck is not gone yet." Kevin joked.

"AW COME ON! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" Ash said and the heroes laughed.

My comments about Ash:

I don't know why Ash is being a childish kid in Pokemon Journeys even Sun and Moon. He was developed and became a badass character in XYZ series.

And now the writers have dulled their personality but his character remained the same. Look, I don't hate Ash and he's one of my favourite characters in Pokemon anime.

He lost Kalos League though the development he deserved and he went to Alola for vacations? STUPID DECISION! I wish they would've brought the real Ash in Journeys and made him mature.
