So it is very formal, ya know with the fancy dresses and stuff, And so amy is being asked to dance by like abillion guys, and sonic is mentally smacking each and very one of those guys, but amy says no to all of them. I've done so many Ball scenes for Sonic Boom with Sonamy in them that I really don't have anymore twist to off of anymore x But I'll do my best to keep trying, sweet anon, just for you! :D

"Will you dance with me? Please!"

"Amy! Miss Amy over here!"

"Wow! You look great in that dress, Amy!"

Amy awkwardly moved around the swarm of boys that flocked to her in her really pretty dress as she made her way over to the gang. "S-sorry! I've uh… got somewhere to be! Maybe next time?"

"Awww…." the boys all swung their bodies forward and sadly began to walk away, hunched over and looking gloomy.

"Wow, you're the center of the ball tonight, Cinderella." Knuckles teased, laughing as Amy blushed a glare toward him.

"I-I'm not trying to! I just-!"

"Don't be upset, Amy. He's giving you a lousy compliment." Sonic looked a bit on edge, looking to the side of the gang and drinking from his glass.

"…Oh? And what compliment do I deserve then?" Amy looked back at him, confused. She wanted him to ask her to dance… and that's why she rejected the others…

"I think the best compliment for you, Amy, is to dance with me!" he quickly grabbed her and and zipped to the dance floor as Tails snickered.

"…Five rings says you blackmailed him." Knuckles stood forward, shoving some food in his mouth.

"Twenty rings says I paid those men to get him worried and afraid she'd be off with some other guy tonight!" Tails laughed.

"Wow, that's deep."

"…Knuckles, do you even when to say that?"

"When things aren't shallow?"

Tails face-palmed, "Ay, Ay, Ay…"

Sonic and Amy danced as she was literally swept off her feet how fast he moved.

"Uh, S-Sonic!? Don't you think we should… I mean I know you're the last person to hear this but- slow down… a notch? To enjoy the dance, you see!" she tried to get him to just relax but he was all over the place, doing dance move after dance move.

In reality, he was trying to hard to impress, and it was actually working AGAINST him as Amy pulled away at last, gasping for air because he didn't give her a second to catch it. "WOULD YOU QUIT IT?! Augh, Sonic, I know you may have never danced with a girl before, but this is a SLOW DANCE." she pointed back to the band, and then spread her arms out as the camera zoomed out to show everyone slowly dancing close to one another, and staring at them, the odd 'couple' out.

"….Ohhhhh…." Sonic looked self conscious, his mouth going down into a frown of embarrassment as he put his hand up to his face, shifting his eyes left and right and realizing what he did wrong. "…My mistake?"

Amy huffed, and stepped over to him. "No more fooling around! Now… just placed your hand here…" she calmed down a bit and took his hand, putting it to her hip as his quills stood on end. He sucked in a big breath and held it as she took his other hand and began showing him how to move his feet to a slow dance.

"Just relax, it's okay… hehe~ You know, you're kinda cute when you're blushing!"

"I'm not blushing! And I'm not 'cute' either! I'm… I'm cool!" he retorted, looking away and trying to hold the red back in his face.

She just laughed some more before placing her head to the side and on his shoulder. He freaked out, jolting in spot, but looked to her and finally tried to breathe normally. "…So, those other guys… they really were something, huh?" he stated, not sure why he wanted to make small talk.

Amy blinked her eyes in confusion, and leaned up, looking at him like he being funny just then. "I wouldn't know. I tend to only take double looks when it's you." she flirted, and moved out of his grasp to spin, and then came back.

The movement startled him, but it freaked him out even more when she came back CLOSER to him this time.

Their faces just barely apart, as he tightened his mouth into a firm line and tried to move his head up and away. "Uh-huh." he nervously let out.

She giggled, and looked away. "Sorry… that may have been a bit.. much right now. But I'm happy you asked me to dance!" she cheered. "I've never really danced with a boy before… only in my head, ha. Oh! That sounded weird, didn't it? Forget I just said that!" she blushed and squinted her eyes shut as Sonic looked back at her, surprised by her sudden cuteness, he grinned and pulled her out to another spin.

"Nah, it's all good." he smiled, and danced a little more seriously with her. "After all… dreams were made to be fulfilled."

She was instantly mesmerized at that line as he charmed his way into her heart yet again, and dipped her at the end of the dance.

"Better than your dreams?" he raised an eyebrow, just trying to be funny.

However, Amy saw it very… differently…

The lights in the room blurred as her eyelids drooped and a goofy smile spread on her face. "So much better~" she softly let out, but it kinda made Sonic feel awkward as he pulled her back up, and she acted goofy with giggles and touching his arm to much all night…
