Abby's POV
Putzie and I were talking, but it felt so awkward! I mean Putzie is my BEST friend ever! Why am I'm be nervous around him!? "Um, I like your dress." Putzie said pointing at my dress.
"Thanks Putzie." I said blushing.
Oh my gosh Abby, control yourself! This is Putzie for goodness sake! Then it was hour later, I was watching Putzie play with Daisy and Pammy. They were both laughing and giggling as Putzie spin them around. Putzie would be a great father! He is SO CUTE! I meant that as a friend…if that makes sense? Oh whatever! Anyway Everyone was here! Then I turned to see Tom standing next to his car, so I walked over to him calmly, not really wanting to deal with him at the moment.
"Hey." I said quietly.
"Hi." He said.
I'm still mad at him for the other night.
"So, didn't invited me your open house?" He asked me.
Here it comes!
"Tom," I started. "Can we not fight please."
"Fine, maybe we should break up?" He suggested.
Then it hit me.
"Wait, you're…breaking up with me?" I asked him getting tears in my eyes.
"Yep," He said opening his car door. "Bye Abby." But he just drove off and I stood here crying.
"Tom!" I called out, but he was gone.
I turned to see Putzie walking over to me and I hugged him as he hugged me back.
"You ok?" He asked me.
But I just shook my head no.
"What happened?" He asked me.
"Nothing." I said pulling away.
"Abby, you can always tell me anything." He softly said, gently picking my chine up as I sniffled.
"T-Tom and I broke up…for real." I cried.
"Oh Abby." He whispered. "I'm so sorry."
I cried in his arms.
"Am I'm a horrible person?" I asked.
"No, don't you ever say that." I heard him. "You're amazing."
He hugs me tighter.
"Why can't guys be like you and the guys?" I asked.
"I know." He said. "It's gonna be ok. A real man will come and be your hero."
I smiled in his arms and let go of him.
"Can I be alone for awhile?" I asked.
He smiled.
"Of course." He replied.
"Thanks." I smiled back.
"Anytime." He said.
I ran inside and up to my bedroom, crying again.
