I love your stories! Thank you for writing them 3 I figured I'd ask something to change up the formula a bit! How about a Silver/Amy interaction; either platonic or one-sided/romantic, I honestly think any dynamic between them works really well! Maybe Amy showing Silver the most mundane domestic thing but Silver thinks it's absolutely brilliant because where he comes from nothing is ever that simple? just throwing ideas, if you have a better idea by all means!

(The dynamic of Silver and Amy is fun to work with! I think I'll do friendship on this one :) Though, it is fun to do a one-sided thing. I'll try and keep this canon lol xP)

Prompt:

Silver leans his head over far to the side, looking through the crack of the kitchen's back wall to see the wires all connecting to different plugs in the back.

"So… you're saying…" He lightly squinted his eyes at the darkness, before leaning his hand through the crack and using his telekinesis to move a plug into the slot.

"It goes in here to sustain its power… right?"

"Yep!"

His eyes darted upwards to the cheery voice, then he nodded, turning a little too serious. "So this wall possess some sort of power source. I think I'm starting to understand." he leaned himself up and put both hands on the table.

"Silver, have you really never cooked a meal for yourself?" Amy gently lifted a bundled fist to her chest, tilting her head curiously but also in care towards him. "Ever, ever..?"

Silver, growing a bit meek and embarrassed, double-taked her for a moment to try and judge- as discreetly as he could manage- her expression before scratching behind his head and turning away, nodding.

"In my world… well, the future… I mean. We don't necessarily have all these resources." he gestured with his hands turned up and bobbing as he spoke to her. A literal, gravity difference, in the situation.

"Wow… Most people think the future is bright with technological advances… don't tell Tails it's more of an Armageddon." She nodded, sweetly, and moved up beside him, putting some pressed dough down and showing him how to use his palm and roll it out.

"Well, you're in luck! Pizza is easy!"

"Armageddon… huh?"

"Hey! Don't worry about that! Unless… do you know what that means?" She leaned in a bit.

"Ah! Y-yes… I'm aware of the terminology." He raised his hands up, as if apologetic, but Amy just laughed.

"No need to be so jumpy. Okay, let's spin this bad boy!" she lifted the pizza up and twirled it, which absolutely stunned Silver as he leaned back, before hovering a little upwards and holding out a pointed finger as if wanting to touch it while it spun in the air.

"Pi…zza…Is it really edible?" So innocently, he looked down to Amy, who couldn't help and tease him slightly.

"If it's my cooking, it is!" she put her hands on her hips after catching the pizza on its last toss. "Now, you try!"

"H-huh? Me?" He floated back down, shaking his hands out in front of himself and moving his head left and right. "Oh no. I couldn't. I might ruin the supplies for everyone and…"

Amy reached up and lightly tugged his ear to force him in front of her and towards the dough.

"Ah-ah-ah…hey!"

"Now, quit stumbling on your words and feet and get twirling!" she walked up behind him and took hold of his hands.

He wasn't used to much touch, so this did make him slightly uneasy, but he soon relaxed and almost felt comfort at Amy showing him where his hands go.

"Under like so… don't like it slip! Good…" she removed her hands, "Now.. toss and twirl!"

"U-uh… lightly?" he rose an eyebrow. "Last time I tried the mixer-machine, I was sprayed with exploding white!"

"Haha! Hilarious! I still can't tell if there's some still on you or not, you weren't even whiter than before!" she must have enjoyed that experience…

He looked away, before gathering strength to redeem himself and tossed the pizza. The round, light brown circle hung motionless a moment as if a pause of breath in the air and Silver held out a hand to spin it with his power before Amy smacked it down and he flinched back, the pizza dough falling with a 'SPLAT' to the table's top.

"Ah! W-what was that for? Did I do something wrong?"

"Cooking doesn't require powers." she closed her eyes and pouted. "Once, Sonic rushed every step and the oven… the poor oven…" then she smirked, "His poor fur…" he had kinda burned himself a bit… she still enjoyed teaching him a lesson on patience but took special care in aiding his fingers.

"B-but…" Silver, cautiously, motioned to the wall with another questioning finger. "..What about the wall's power source?"

"That's different!" Amy startled out of her original memory and moved her hands about, shooing the obvious contradiction to her words away. "Off to spreading the sauce! It should be done by now."

She took a spoon to taste and held a hand to her cheek as she delighted in the flavor. "Delicious! Here, you try some! Every chief ought to try his own recipe before serving it to others." she nodded her head, and held the spoon out for him to taste, "Ahh~" she cutely held it up for him and motioned her mouth open.

Blushing now because of the odd behavior, Silver didn't understand. He leaned his head back, "what?" obvious.

She pouted and closed her mouth, stomping a bit. "You're just like Sonic!" she abruptly blurted, before sighing and showing her tender side again. "Your mother never spoon-fed you?"

"Spoon… fed?" He didn't want to answer the mother part.

"Hmm.. okay, open your mouth then! At least I wasn't rejected." she smiled again and opened her mouth to show him how it was done.

He slowly caved and opened his mouth, as the spoon went in, he closed his eyes as tightly shut as he could, and bit down.

"No! Augh, oh well, just take the food and taste it. Don't just swallow it down!"

He obeyed, and immediately his mouth swirled and then his eyes opened with surprise, he smiled to Amy- "Emmm~" he swallowed. "That was delicious! I've never experienced a sensation like that!"

"Hehe~ Good. I thank you for your kind critique~" she curtsied and continued on.

After the food was made, Amy proudly announced her sous-chef, and the Forces clapped for him.

He was slightly shy to admit it, but he did give proper thanks to Amy's instructions.

"She's the real cook." He admitted, and Amy nudged him, lovingly. "Ah! W-what'd I do now?" he looked worried and startled, but she giggled and shook her head, showing him it wasn't meant as a scold~
