Abby's POV

I'm such an idiot! I shouldn't had gone out with Tom, I should've realized my feelings for Putzie long time ago! But I always knew we'd be just friends so I called up Tom and gave him one more chance. Just then I heard the door knock. "Abby?" I heard Putzie on the other side of the door. "May I come in?" He asked.

I smiled to myself at how sweet and gentle Putzie is!

"Sure Putzie!" I called out.

Putzie walked in my room and shut the door.

"U-uh hi." He said nervously while putting his hands in his pockets.

"Hi." I said quietly.

"Abby, I am so sorry." He said sitting on my bed next to me. "I knew it was stupid of me to get a girlfriend."

"Putzie its fine, besides I already called Tom and…gave him another chance and got back together with him." I told him.

"Oh." He said sadly.

I felt my heart broke for him.

"I was gonna tell you that at Frosty Palace, because I wanted to tell you first and I um…you're my best friend." I lied.

"Oh, ok." He said. "So you got back with your boyfriend…and I got a girlfriend."

"Yep." I said nodding my head.

"But we can still be friends?" He asked me.

I smiled.

"Best friends." I corrected him.

"Good." He smiled back.

We stood up as we hugged and then pulled away when we stared into each other eyes and we quickly pulled away when we saw the door open and it was the guys.

"Hey kids," Phil said. "Hoping we're not interrupted anything."

Putzie shook his head.

"No." He replied. "Just talkin'."

"Yeah." I answers.

"Are you guys ok?" Danny asked us.

"Yeah, I'm just gonna go over to hang out with the girls." I said.

"Ok." Danny said kissing my head. "Stay safe."

"I will." I smiled at him being a protective big brother.

I walked over to door.

"Abby," I turned to look at Putzie. "Anytime you need someone to talk to, I'm always here for ya." I smiled at him.

"Thanks Putzie." I said hugging him again.

"Anytime." I heard him says.

"You're a great best friend." I added.

"I'd do anything for you." He said.

He hugged me close and let go.

"I'll be back by dinner." I told Danny.

"Ok." He smiled warmly.

I smiled at them as I left the room to hang out with the girls! Ugh why did I have to be such an idiot!
