Can you write something with Densi + Talia + Sabatino? That would be a riot lol
"Remind me again, why did we invite Sabatino to our baby shower?" Deeks asked as he sipped on a virgin mojito and watched the man in question attempt to escape a conversation with Roberta. Deeks could only imagine what she was telling him. If it was his birth story, Deeks didn't envy him.
"Because he's our friend?" Kensi suggested, nudging him with her elbow.
"Yeah, we barely like him sometimes. Try again." Kensi popped a mini quiche in her mouth and acknowledged his point with a nod of her head.
"Fine. I ran into him while I was giving Hetty my maternity leave forms and he cornered me. He congratulated me on the baby and then he started asking about the shower and said he'd be looking for his invite. After the wedding, how could I say no?"
"Very easily. Oh great, now he's talking to Talia," Deeks noticed. Sabatino looked extremely relieved to have excuse to abandon Deeks' mom when the DEA agent interrupted. "That can't be good." By mutual, unspoken decision, they headed over to the pair.
Talia wore a red flower printed sundress and Sabatino was in a three piece suit. Deeks felt a little underdressed in his button down and jeans, but decided he made up for it by actually combing his hair that morning.
"Kensi, you look gorgeous," Talia said when she caught sight of them. She pulled Kensi in for a hug and then took a step back, placing a hand on Kensi's bump, nicely outlined by her dark blue shirt. "Lady, there is no way you are seven months pregnant."
"Ugh, I wish. None of my clothes fit and my balance is terrible," Kensi said, glancing at Deeks as if for confirmation. He rested his hand on her back and said,
"She's only trying to lure you into a false sense of security. Last week she totally kicked my butt in a push up challenge."
"Sounds about right," Sabatino observed, reaching over clap Deeks on the back. He gave Kensi a quick hug and then added, "But Talia's right, you do look great."
"Do you two know each other?" Kensi asked and Talia shook her head.
"No, we just met today. But from the sound of it, we have quite a bit in common."
"Like what?" Deeks asked.
"Well, for one thing, you two," Sabatino said, gesturing between the pair.
"The fact that neither of us merited an invite to your wedding," Talia added.
"Listen about that," Deeks started to say, scratching at his beard as tried to figure out how he planned to finish that sentence. Talia waved her hand dismissively and Deeks instantly knew they were in trouble.
"Don't worry about it. I'm sure you guys had way too much on your minds to worry about us."
"We had limited seating," Kensi explained apologetically.
"Then how come I heard Anatoli Kirkin was in attendance?" Sabatino asked, crossing his arms.
"Who's Anatoli Kirkin?"
"A Russian criminal who's obsessed with Deeks," Sabatino informed Talia as Deeks pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Ok, I wouldn't say obsessed-"
"Deeks first met him in a Russian bath house." Talia raised her eyebrows and turned to Deeks with a mischievous expression.
"Really? Don't you usually have to get naked at those places?" she asked, looking him up and down.
"First of all it was for a case and secondly-"
"We did not invite him to our wedding," Kensi interrupted him, resting her arms on her small bump. "He actually showed up on his own after he tried to kidnap Deeks and brought a bunch of criminals who wanted to kill him with him."
"Oh, that so does not help," Deeks groaned as Sabatino and Talia exchanged twin looks of delight. Grinning, Talia said,
"Ok, let me get this straight. You not only have a Russian gangster who's obsessed with you, but he also tried to kidnap you? On your wedding day? Oh my god, this is the best day ever. Please tell me Kensi punched his lights out?"
"I did not know the wedding part," Sabatino said, wiping beneath his eyes as he was apparently overcome by tears of laughter. "How many times is that now?"
"I'm glad you find this so hilarious," Deeks said, glaring at him. Kensi patted his shoulder sympathetically.
"Are you telling me there's more stories about Deeks and this guy?" Talia asked, clasping her hands together like a five year old on Christmas morning. She grasped Sabatino's arm and he looked pleased by the attention. "You have to tell me all of them."
"No, he doesn't," Kensi said dangerously, turning a glare on Sabatino that would have terrified anyone else. Instead, he winked and held his arm out to Talia who happily took it.
"I've got plenty of stories about these two." As they walked away, Deeks tossed his head back and then glanced down at Kensi.
"You just had to invite Sabatino."
"Hey, maybe something good will come out of this," Kensi said.
"How could this possibly have any positive outcome?" Deeks asked.
"Well, Sabatino and Talia are both single right now…" She trailed off, letting Deeks fill in the blank.
"If they get married, I'm moving to another state," he said with complete sincerity.
"Just imagine the cute little babies they'd make," Kensi continued and Deeks made a disgusted sound.
"Please stop."
"We could have play dates." Deeks groaned again and made a beeline for the fake mojitos while Kensi followed after him, making ridiculous suggestions the entire time.
