Raw: July 2, 2012
I was carrying my bags backstage looking around for my locker-room. I was in an amazing mood already tonight as it was my birthday, but there were more things contributing to my good mood. I found out that Teddy Long was the general manager this week. I also had a match tonight against AJ. I just faced her at the SmackDown filming last week, but considering the circumstances, I understood having a rematch.
I entered the locker-room only to see Randy in there, sitting on the couch. I look at him in surprise before quickly closing the door behind me.
"Not to be rude or anything, but what the hell are you doing here?" I ask Randy.
Randy laughs. "Nice to see you too, sweetheart. Happy birthday."
"Thanks. I've been waiting on you to text or call to say that all day."
Randy pats his lap. "Why say it over the phone when I was going to be able to say it in person? Happy birthday, beautiful. Come sit."
I sit on his lap. "I love that you're here, but how are you here?"
"Well, I decided that I still wanted to be with you on your birthday. Since it's my fault that we weren't going to be able to, I was determined to find a way. I found out that Teddy Long was in charge this week. Called him and then called your old man. Vince understood and flew out the private jet to come get me. I'm here tonight, and it's alright. I just can't be on TV."
"Oh, well now, I'm not going to want to do my job tonight."
"Oh…you actually have to do stuff tonight? Bummer."
"I'm wrestling tonight."
"Who are you wrestling?"
"I have a rematch with AJ tonight."
"I guess that makes sense considering the circumstances of your match on SmackDown."
"Yeah, I'm going to have to get off your lap, so I can get my ring gear on."
Randy kisses my cheek. "Alright. This would be a good time to tell you that we have dinner reservations tonight."
I get up and start putting my gear on. "Where are we going to be having dinner?"
"I'll leave it a surprise. It's your birthday after all."
"Fine then. You're full of those today. Clasp my ring gear top for me."
Randy walks up behind me to clasp my gear. "We will have to leave a little early though."
"Give me time to shower after my match."
"I can do that. You're gorgeous."
I blush. "Thanks, handsome. You're not so bad looking yourself."
Randy wrapped his arms around me. "I love you so much."
I lean against him. "I love you too."
"Whenever you figure it out, let me know what I can do to help fix things." Randy whispers.
"Alright. I'll let you know. Man, I missed having you here at work."
"Don't get used to it quite yet. I'll still not be allowed for another month."
"After that, I'm going to savor every single moment."
"Who said that we couldn't savor tonight? It is your birthday after all. You'll only turn thirty once." Randy kisses me.

"The following Divas match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Union City, New Jersey AJ!"
I know I want that girl so bad
I lie awake at night

"And her opponent, from Saint Louis, Missouri, the WWE Divas Champion, the Queen of Chaos, Marissa Orton!"
Ding! Ding! Ding!
AJ and I circle around the ring. We lock up. I get AJ into a Side Headlock. AJ elbows me in the ribs. I release the hold and drop AJ with a Clothesline. As AJ starts to get up, I hit her with a Running Knee. I pin AJ.
1…2…kickout!
I grab AJ and hit her with a DDT. I run at AJ, but she catches me with a Drop Toe Hold. AJ then hits me with a Dropkick before pinning me.
1…kickout!
AJ kicks me in the face before climbing onto the top turnbuckle. She goes for a Crossbody, but I roll out of the way. I lock AJ in an Armbar. AJ makes it to the ropes. I release the submission hold, but I stomp on AJ.
I go to kick AJ, but she rolls me into a pin.
1…2…kickout!
I hit AJ with a Superkick. She falls into the ropes. I grab AJ and hit her with the Chaotic Ending. I pin AJ.
1…2…3!
"Here is your winner, Marissa Orton!"
AJ rolls out of the ring as I celebrate in the ring. Someone goes to grab me from behind, but I elbow them in the face. I turn around to see Eve. Eve swings at me, but I avoid it before grabbing her and hitting her with the Picture Perfect. I pick up my Divas Championship before noticing Beth watching from the stage. I smile at Beth before taking a bow in the ring.
I smile at Teddy as Randy and I were on our way out of the arena to go to our dinner reservation. "Thank you for helping Randy with this. I really appreciate this."
Teddy smiles. "Of course. You two were two of my biggest supporters. It's your birthday, and I wanted to do what I can to help you have a good day. You could've taken the night off though."
"I'm the Divas Champion. I didn't think I should."
"What if I give you tomorrow off?"
"Teddy, I don't need tomorrow off."
"Tonight's your birthday. Go enjoy your dinner and go home with Randy. You have been busting your ass here. Go spend some time relaxing with your husband. You've earned it."
I sigh. "Alright. Thank you, Teddy."
"Of course. Happy birthday. Enjoy your evening, you two."
"We will."
Randy smiles at me as Teddy walks away. "Guess I'm taking you home with me now."
"Yeah, you better be at least spoiling me."
"Don't I always spoil you?"
I smile. "Yeah, you do."
Randy kisses my forehead. "Let's head to dinner."
