Raw: July 9, 2012

I stretch out in my locker-room. I didn't have anything as far as I know tonight, but I was in a fantastic mood. Randy and I had been getting along phenomenally at home. I was feeling like things were going to be improving for the two of us. I hear a knock on the door.

"It's open!" I say.

John Cena opens the door. "Hey, get a load of who's in charge tonight."

"Who's in charge tonight? I thought it was Zack Ryder."

"It's not. The anonymous Raw General Manager is in charge tonight."

"Seriously? I thought we were done with that."

"You and me both. You seem to be in a great mood."

I grin. "Yeah, things were going great at home for the past week. I didn't even really want to come here this week."

"They were going that well?"

"Yeah, Randy and I were able to spend a lot of time together, and we got along the whole time. It's an improvement over how things have been recently."

"Of course. Did you get your birthday present from me and Chelle?"

"Yes, I did, and I loved it. Thank you."

"Of course. We thought you would love it."

"I definitely did. I think Randy did too honestly. I'm probably going to have to hide it from him."

John laughs. "Randy is crafty. If you're hiding it from him, you're going to have to hide it good."

"I'm craftier than him."

"I believe you're capable of it, but he's clever."

"Believe me, I know that. I'm married to him. I know how clever he is, but I'm more clever. Anyway, how is my best friend?"

"She keeps talking about the baby. I know we have less than two months, but it's all she talks about."

"Well, she's carrying the baby inside of her, Cena. It's going to be on her mind a lot."

"You've got a point."

"Hell, I think about a lot too because when she isn't talking about it to you, she's talking about it to me."

"You're helping plan the baby shower though."

"Point taken."

"And you can't tell me that babies don't cross your mind when you and Randy were trying for a while."

"Uh…yeah, I guess."

"Have you and Randy talked about any of that recently?"

"That's an awfully intrusive question." I comment awkwardly.

"What did you say to him?"

"Well…when we argued over his suspension, I said something about how we shouldn't be trying to have kids when I am not going to be able to trust him. We haven't talked about kids since."

"Wow, you really said that."

"Yeah…please don't tell him that I told you or tell Chelle at all because I didn't tell her at all. I know I probably shouldn't have said it."

"Honestly, I see your point. You shouldn't be having kids with someone you can't fully trust. So I assume that, theoretically, if you lost the Divas Championship on Sunday, you wouldn't start trying for a baby again?"

"I wouldn't. He may try to bring it up, but I'm not open to it right now. Honestly, I think if we were going to have kids anytime soon, then I would've ended up pregnant when we were trying."

"I see. I'm going to head out now. I'll keep this conversation between us."

"Thanks, John."

"Bye."

I sigh as I lay on the couch in my locker-room. Randy and I had this idea of having kids sooner than later, but now, I was having a hard time picturing that for us anytime soon. I didn't like how I was feeling about this. Someone knocks on my door. I get up and open it to see Eve.

I roll my eyes. "What do you want, Eve?"

Eve crosses her arms as she looks at me. "Relax, alright? I just want to talk about our match on Sunday."

"What about our match?"

"Well, let's be real here. Beth is stronger than both of us. We'll both have to fight her in this match. I think we should agree to take her out first."

"So when I win, you'll claim that I only won because we worked together to take Beth down? Not gonna happen, Eve. Nice try though." I close the door in Eve's face.

I find CM Punk hanging out in Catering. "Hey, are you excited for your Mixed Tag Team match tonight?"

Punk laughs. "Of course I am. I'm gonna kick Daniel's ass."

"Good for you. I'm all for it."

"Of course you would be. How was the birthday party? You never got around to telling me."

"Admittedly, it got kind of boring. It was at a bar though. You're straight edge, so you wouldn't have enjoyed it."

"I can still hang out around a bar without drinking and have fun."

"Point taken."

"How's the husband?"

I shrug. "He's Randy. You know how he is."

Punk laughs. "He sure is something. How do you deal with him?"

"I guess I'm just used to it at this point. Plus, he treats me amazingly."

"That's what you say. Plus, I always see him kissing your ass."

I laugh. "Kissing my ass or just being affectionate with me?"

"A little bit of both actually. I know he'd deny kissing your ass though."

"He would. He does kiss my ass though. I miss having him here at work."

"He was just here with you last week."

"Yeah, but he isn't here now. He's not traveling with me every week."

"I see your point. He'll be back pretty soon though."

"It's soon to you. Not soon enough for me."

"You'll be fine. It's only a few weeks."

"Twenty-one days. Not soon enough. I miss him."

"You literally see him at home though."

"Seeing him at home is one thing. Not seeing him at work is another way. Anyway, good luck with the Mixed Tag Team match."

"Thanks, I'm ready to kick Daniel's ass. I know AJ is ready to kick Eve's ass. We'll win tonight."

"Good. I'm going to head back to my locker-room. See ya."

"Bye."
