"REBIRTH OF SENTINEL"
Inko Midoriya was heartbroken not for herself but for her son, Izuku. She loved her son so much. She was just so sweet and kind and he also dreamed of being a Pro-Hero like his idol All Might. Sadly, he had been diagnosed as being Quirkless.
Quirkless.
In a world where 80% of the population possessed Quirks, that made her son a minority and minorities were often discriminated against. Also, being Quirkless meant that her son may never become a Pro-Hero no matter how much he wished to be. The news devastated her and Izuku who wanted so much to become a hero but only because of terrible luck, he was born without a Quirk.
His dreams were over.
Not if she had anything to say about it. The first thing she did was to take her son out of school. She was well aware of how innocently cruel children could be. Izuku would become a target of bullying and ostracized for being Quirkless and she refused to let her son suffer. Right now, it was more important to keep him safe.
Inko Midoriya would not give up, though. She would do anything she could to give her son a chance in this world. Her son meant everything to her since her husband had left on a business trip. It was just her and Izuku. So, she looked online to find any kind of solution. She even explored the Dark Web for anything that might help her son, spending sleepless nights trying to find a way that would make sure her son could achieve his dream.
Then, one day, after weeks of searching to only find one scam after another, she found what could be salvation:
Dr. Madaraki.
One day, Inko took Izuku out of the city to go see Dr. Madaraki. According to sources that Inko managed to find online, the doctor was a genius and a miracle worker, a legend in the field who also lived in isolation in the mountains.
There were no pictures of Dr. Madaraki so Inko did not know what to expect until she met them. When she finally reached the estate with her son, they stood in front of a large mansion.
"Is it a castle?" Izuku asked innocently.
"No, Izuku," Inko told him.
"Why are we here, Mama?"
"Oh, we're going to see a doctor who can help you." Hopefully. Because this was her last chance to help her son.
She rang the doorbell and waited. Moments later, a handsome young man opened the door to greet the Midoriyas.
"Dr. Madaraki?" Inko asked.
"Oh, no," the man shook his head. "My name is Okita. I serve Dr. Madaraki. Do you have an appointment?"
"Yes," Inko answered. "I sent an email the other day. My name is Inko Midoriya and this is my son Izuku."
"Hi!" Izuku waved.
"I see. Follow me."
Inko and Izuku entered the mansion.
When Inko first discovered Dr. Madaraki, she expected an elderly gentleman with greying hair and beard with a grandfatherly presence. Instead, sitting across from her in the living room was a young woman with long blonde hair in a white blouse and black skirt. She would've been considered beautiful, if not for the bolts in her head and the various stitches she had marring her.
"Midoriya-san," Dr. Madaraki smiled. "I'm so glad to finally meet you."
"Thank you, Madaraki-sensei," Inko nodded. "You're not what I expected."
"Oh, I get that a lot," Dr. Madaraki smiled. "So, you said your son needs my help."
"Yes," Inko sighed. "You see, my son is Quirkless."
"Really?" Dr. Madaraki studied Izuku who was dressed in an All-Might hoodie. He looked so adorable. "Are you sure he's not some late bloomer?"
"Maybe, but I couldn't risk it," Inko frowned. "The doctor says he'll never develop a Quirk and in our society the Quirkless are treated like garbage."
"Oh, my," Dr. Madaraki gasped. "How cruel."
"Indeed. I don't want my son to suffer so I looked for solutions until I found you. You're supposed to be a legendary miracle worker."
"Well, I have had a series of successful cases but I wouldn't call myself a miracle worker," Dr. Madaraki said honestly. "So, you believe I could somehow give your son a Quirk."
"No, that's impossible. I know you can't give my son a Quirk, but I know you can make it look like he has one," Inko said.
"I see," Dr. Madaraki crossed her arms.
"I'm willing to pay," Inko offered as she unzipped her bag to show many, many bills. "This is my entire lifer savings. You can have it if you help my Izuku."
"No need," Dr. Madaraki smiled. "It'll be free of charge."
"Huh? But why?"
"Because you've moved me!" Dr. Madaraki swooned. "You, a mother, who loves her son dearly wish to help him, even willing to pay so much! Of course, I'll help!"
"Can you really give me a Quirk, Sensei?" Izuki asked and Dr. Madaraki smiled.
"Of course, Izuku-chan," Dr. Madaraki tapped his nose. "Oh, and please, call me 'Fran'."
Izuku was taken to the operating theatre while Inko waited outside. The boy was put to sleep with anaesthetics so he would not feel anything at all. Fran had considered several routes to give the boy a pseudo-Quirk. In one route, she considered giving him animal parts that would give him the speed of a cheetah, the strength of a gorilla, the nose of a bloodhound, and all sorts of wonderful things. Although, she also had another idea.
Many years ago, she had operated on a man who wanted to become a hero of justice. He was known as 'Sentinel Mask'. Unfortunately, he was gone now. But, what if, Sentinel Mask's legacy could be reborn?
"Alright," Dr. Madaraki put on her surgical mask and then she revealed she had two additional pairs of arms, each hand holding a surgical instrument. "Let the operation begin!"

Inko waited outside, pacing back and forth. Hours had passed since her son was wheeled into the operating theatre. She began to worry if she had made the right choice. What if Dr. Madaraki was some charlatan? No, she couldn't be. She had not taken any money from Inko. She promised this was free of charge. However, that did not help ease her worries.
The door opened and Dr. Madaraki stepped out, removing her mask.
"Well?" Inko asked.
"Your son is fine," Dr. Madaraki smiled. "He's asleep now and in recovery. In a week, you'll be able to take him home."
"Oh, thank goodness."
"But let me tell you what I've done."

"A cockroach? You made my son into a human cockroach?" Inko gaped as Dr. Madaraki told her.
"Yes," Dr. Madaraki nodded.
"But how will a cockroach Quirk be useful?" Inko asked.
"Cockroaches are one of the most powerful species in the world, Madaraki-san. They've existed for millions of years and outlived the dinosaurs. They can survive a nuclear holocaust and even survive without a head for days. They are fast and possess a strong exoskeleton," Dr. Madaraki listed. "Don't worry, though. He won't look like a cockroach. He will have a huge appetite though."
"I…I see…" Inko nodded.
"If you want, after Izuku recovers, we can do some tests.
One month later…
Izuku was back in school. He was happy to be with his friends again.
"Hey, Deku!"
"Oh, Kacchan!"
"Where did you go?"
"Oh, Mama took me out of school to see a doctor."
"A doctor?" 'Kacchan' scoffed. "That's useless, like you! Now, come over here! We're gonna play Heroes and Villains and you get to be the villain!"
Katsuki Bakugo's Quirk allowed him to generate explosions from his hands and his favourite target was Izuku, aka Deku.
"We're not supposed to use our Quirks at school," Izuku frowned.
"Oh, shut up! Take this!" Katsuki threw an explosion at Izuku. It would hurt and leave a mark but it would not be too serious. All of a sudden, Izuku bent his knees and leapt. Katsuki missed as Izuku found himself on a branch. "Huh, what!?"
"Huh?" Izuku saw where he was.
"How did you do that, Deku!?" Katsuki demanded.
"Oh, I just got my Quirk!"
10 years later…
"And it looks like Midoriya is planning to apply for UA as well," the teacher said.
Katsuki scowled and then gritted his teeth as their classmates praised 'Deku'. Although, only he called him that.
"Midoriya-san is a shoe-in for UA!"
"Yeah, he's strong!"
"He's fast!"
"He'll definitely be a Pro!"
Sitting at his desk, ignoring the world around him, Izuku Midoriya was scribbling notes in his notebook for Hero Analysis. It became a hobby of his to analyze Quirks.
In another timeline, Izuku would be a bullied outcast who would be told his dreams were unrealistic was he was born without a Quirk. However, ever since Dr. Madaraki helped him, he was actually pretty popular. Sure, Katsuki was idolized for having a powerful Quirk but Izuku's kindness had won people over along with his Quirk.
Izuku Midoriya
Quirk: Roach
Katsuki had laughed at Izuku for having a Quirk based on a useless bug but then Izuku showed what he could do with his Quirk. He was strong enough to lift a car over his head, fast enough to outrun any of the school's fastest runners, and his skin was so hard that Katsuki's explosions did nothing.
That always pissed off the blond. Izuku's clothes would get wrecked but Izuku would be fine, with that stupid smile on his face…looking down on him.
Izuku's Quirk also gave him a pair of antennae. Plus, whenever he came to school, he always carried a huge bento. Apparently, hia Quirk required him to eat a lot of food. Like a lot of food.
Izuku learned from Dr. Madaraki that having a strong Quirk did not guarantee he could become a Pro-Hero. He needed to train. That meant a lot of exercise and learning how to defend himself. Since his Quirk Roach relied a lot on speed, it was decided he would learn Capoeira. Also, Izuku had discovered another hobby.
He really loved Parkour.
He loved jumping and running. His enhanced senses also made sure he did not fall and crash into anything. It also helped as it was training his Quirk. Sometimes a Pro-Hero would need to retreat to help save people in a crisis.
It also helped him to get away from Kacchan whenever he got pissed. Honestly, his best friend just got worse and worse. First calling him a useless Deku, which never stopped, and also seeing him as a rival that stood in his way. Katsuki just saw him as competition, a wall to overcome, but Izuku just wanted to become a Pro-Hero. The kind of hero that stopped Villains but also took the time to help old ladies to cross the street or to help bring a cat down from a tree. A hero everyone loved like All-Might, the Symbol of Peace.
That was why he planned to apply for U.A. He knew Katsuki wanted to go to U.A. too and wanted to be the only person from their school who got in. Izuku's plans to enrol would just ruin his plans. But this was Izuku's dream and he would not give it up. He did not care. He would become a Hero!
Many months later, U.A.
Izuku finally got his costume. The design came from Dr. Madaraki who he still kept in touch with.
He stepped out in his new costume. The bodysuit was made out of a brown leather-like material that covered him from his neck to his toes. He had armour black armour plating on his forearms, shoulders, chest, and shin that resembled chitin. Finally, tucked under his arm was a black and brown helmet with short antennae and green compound eyes, giving it an insectoid look. Around his waist was a belt that a buckle that resembled the face of a cockroachy.
"Wow, Deku-kun! Your costume is awesome!" Ochaco Uraraka said when she saw him in his gear.
"Thanks, Uraraka-san," Izuku smiled as he put on his helmet.
"Stupid bug," Katsuki scoffed, arms crossed.
Izuku paid him no mind. He was going to be a Pro-Hero. Dr. Madaraki had told him that he had the powers of a group of heroes she had met long ago. They were known as the 'Sentinels of Justice'.
Izuku liked that. He hoped he could become a Sentinel of Justice as well. A Neo-Sentinel.
KRC: This is a crossover between My Hero Academia and Franken Fran. If you don't know what Franken Fran is, I recommend you check it out. Imagine her as a female Dr. Blackjack. So, Izuku will be Neo-Sentinel and hopefully won't go insane like the previous ones. I also had another idea where he becomes augmented like Rob Schneider did in the movie "The Animal". It's why I also added that in as a sort of Easter Egg. However, since I loved Kamen Rider and Sentinel Mask was a parody of the original Kamen Rider, I decided that it would be the basis for Izuku's Quirk and new hero identity.
Anyway, if you guys are interested in adopting this idea, please do so. It's free. This is just an idea.
