Raw: September 3, 2012

I looked at Randy. "Should I put my ring gear on? I'm on commentary tonight."

Randy laughs. "I would not be wearing ring gear tonight if I was in that situation."

"Okay, I won't wear ring gear."

"Are you alright? You've seemed like you've been a bit off since Chelle had the baby."

I shrug. "I'm fine."

"I don't think that you're telling me the truth."

"It's not the time or place to have that conversation."

Randy nodded. "Alright. I understand."

I wrap my arms around him. "I love you, babe."

Randy held me close. "I love you too. I face Ziggler tonight."

"Why does it seem like you're always facing Dolph Ziggler?"

"Because I'm essentially always facing Dolph Ziggler."

"Point taken. My match against Kaitlyn is going to be at Night of Champions. What a surprise."

Randy laughs. "I don't have a match yet."

"I'm sure you'll get one."

"I wouldn't be so sure. I didn't get a match at SummerSlam."

"I think you'll get one."

"You know, I rode with Eve and Cody to the airport and on the plane. She was trying to ask me how you planned on taking down Kaitlyn when you have your Divas Championship match. I didn't tell her a thing. That's why she pissed me off."

"That's understandable. Thanks for having my back on that."

"Not a problem."

I watched as Randy lost to Dolph due to a roll up pin. I knew Randy wouldn't be happy about that. Randy walked backstage, clearly upset. I walk over to him. Randy pulled me close. He kissed my forehead.

"You alright?" I ask.

Randy sighed. "I'm not happy, but that loss could've been much worse."

"That's true. You're amazing though. You're Randy Orton."

"You're my amazing wife. Thanks for always getting me out of my moods."

"That's what I'm here for."

"I thought it was because you loved me."

"You say loved like it's past tense. I love you. Present tense."

"I know, and I love you too. When do you have to go be on Commentary?"

"I think there's a couple matches before that one still."

"Cool, let's go get Catering."

Randy looked at me as we sat together in Catering. "You've been having a lot of thoughts about things since Chelle and John had the baby. Haven't you?"

I sigh as I pick at my food. "Am I that obvious?"

"I don't think you're obvious. I just know you that well. You've been a bit more quiet since then. I know you don't tend to say much when something is bothering you."

"So I'm obvious to you at least?"

"Just to me though, as far as I know. We've been around each other for close to two decades. Over half of both of our lives. I know you. If it makes you feel any better, I've been thinking about things since they had the baby too."

"When we made plans, I just thought we'd be expecting by now at least. That may be my fault, but that's what I thought."

Randy grabbed my hand. "It's not your fault. I honestly thought that too, but I just don't think it's meant to happen for us yet. We'll get there though."

"I'm sure we will. Can we put a hold on this conversation for now? I don't want to get too emotional before being on TV."

"That's fine with me."

She looks good to me

She's got everything I want

She's got everything I need…

"The following Divas match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Denver, Colorado, Eve Torres!"

This is a night, i know the time is right

To let you go real slow, woah, oh, oh, I'm so…

"And her opponent, from Houston, Texas, Kaitlyn!"

I sat at ringside for commentary as Eve and Kaitlyn both made their way to the ring. Unfortunately, I was stuck doing commentary with two of my least favorite people, Michael Cole and the Miz.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

"So, Marissa," Miz says. "Why are you thinking that Kaitlyn is going to give you a good match? She's a rookie."

I roll my eyes. "Yes, she's a rookie, but Kaitlyn is very talented. I think our match at Night of Champions will be great, but I'll still win."

"It should be easy for you." Michael comments. "She doesn't have the skill to be Divas Champion."

"Why do you two keeping hating on her?"

"Why are you defending her?" Miz asks.

Kaitlyn Irish Whips Eve and goes to jump over Eve when she rebounds back, but she catches Kaitlyn's knee.

"She's very talented. Kaitlyn has my respect. Of course, Eve would do something like this."

"She's giving her space. It's sportsmanship!"

The referee checks on Kaitlyn while Eve seemingly fakes sympathy. Eve kicks Kaitlyn in the gut before hitting her with a Neckbreaker and pinning her.

"Wow, just wow. Typical Eve."

"She's winning her match. That's what she should be doing. That's what you should be doing too at Night of Champions."

"Don't tell me what I should be doing."

1…2…3!

"Here is your winner, Eve!"

Eve checks up on Kaitlyn. I don't think she feels bad one bit. She helps Kaitlyn up and shakes her hand.

"Oh look," I comment. "Now, she's faking sympathy. She doesn't mean that handshake."

Miz gives me a dirty look. "You need to relax."

Eve rolls out of the ring and walks over to right in front of me. I grab my Divas Championship and stand up. We stare at each other for a few minutes before Eve extends her hand for a handshake.

"Come on!" Miz shouts. "Show sportsmanship! Shake her hand, Marissa!"

I look over at Miz. "You need to stay out of this."

"I need to stay out of this?! I'm just telling you to show sportsmanship!"

I slap Miz across the face. "This doesn't involve you!"

Eve smirks as I turn back towards her, with her hand still extended.

I look at Eve. "I don't respect you enough anymore to shake your hand."

Eve smiles before walking away in an arrogant manor. I wasn't quite sure what game Eve was playing, but she was clearly playing a game of some sort. This game was clearly targeting me and my Divas Championship.
