Randy ran at me as we trained in the ring at our house. I caught him with an Arm Drag. He got back up, and I caught him with a Dropkick. Randy laughed before just laying there.

"Are you good?" I ask as I lean on the ring ropes.

Randy smiled up at me. "I'm good. You're just making me put in a lot of work today."

"I think that's a good thing."

"Maybe, I think I need a break."

"Do you?"

"I think so."

I lay down next to him. "I'm fine with calling it a day if you want. We still need to get ready for Tyler's birthday party."

"Let's call it a day. I'm really sweaty."

I laugh. "Me too."

"You're so beautiful."

"You're a good man."

Randy pulled me close. "I know. Do you know when you're going to use that rematch clause yet?"

"I'm considering just using it at Hell in a Cell, but I feel like that's what she's expecting."

"Just do whatever works for you. I'm sure either AJ or Booker will give you whatever you want."

"Probably. We're gonna have to get up soon."

"Let me have a few more minutes."

"I guess I can let you have a few more minutes."

"Thanks, sweetheart."

Randy and I pulled into the parking lot of the place where Tyler was having his birthday party. I notice that we were parked right next to Colby, who had also just arrived. I quickly exit the car and go hug Colby.

Colby hugs me. "Hey! What's up?"

I smile. "Not much. Just coming to our brother's birthday party. What about you?"

"Well, at the moment, just the same as you. I do have big work related news, but I want Randy to hear it too."

Randy exits the car. "I'm right here. What's up?"

"They're talking about calling me up to the main roster soon."

"Really?" I ask. "That's great! What about the NXT Championship though? You're still the champion right now."

"Nothing's set in stone yet, but I assume that I'd just pull double duty until I lose it to someone."

"Well that's great to hear, Colby." Randy says. "We'd be seeing you every week at work."

"I didn't even think about that." I comment.

Colby laughs. "Me either. I guess we ought to head inside and meet this new girlfriend."

"You can go first."

"No, you grew up in the same household. You're going first."

Randy rolls his eyes before grabbing my hand. "Calm down, kids. We're all going together. Got it?"

"Got it."

"Bossy." I mutter.

"I heard that. I'll get you for that one later at home." Randy whispers.

"Whatever."

We all walk in. Tyler smiles as he spots us and starts heading in our direction. A blonde woman, who I assume is Lauren, follows right behind him.

"Hey!" Tyler says as he gives Colby, Randy, and me each a quick hug.

"Happy birthday!" Colby, Randy, and I all say.

"Thanks. Uh…this is Lauren. She's…uh, she's my girlfriend. Lauren, this is my sister Marissa, my brother Colby, and my brother-in-law Randy." Tyler gently grabs Lauren and brings her closer to us.

"Hi, I'm Lauren Bennett, your brother's girlfriend. Nice to meet you." Lauren says quietly before extending her hand to shake.

"I'm Marissa Orton, Tyler's sister who works as a professional wrestler. Nice to meet you." I shake Lauren's hand.

"I'm Randy Orton, Tyler's brother-in-law and Marissa's husband. Nice meeting you." Randy shakes Lauren's hand as well.

Lauren smiles. "Nice to meet you, Randy."

Colby extends his hand. "I'm Colby Lopez, Tyler's brother. Glad to finally get to meet you."

"Glad to finally get to meet you too." Lauren says as she shakes Colby's hand.

Tyler smiles. "Anyway, food and drinks are over there. Stay away from the cake, but anything else is fine. Presents are sitting over there, so feel free to put your presents over there. Lauren and I will catch you guys in a little bit. I'm still waiting on Aunt Caroline and Brittany to get here as well. Catch you guys in a little bit."

"Okay." Randy says as he puts his hand on my shoulder.

Tyler and Lauren walk away.

Colby glances at me. "So…?"

"Give me a little bit longer before I form an opinion on her."

"Alright."

I took a sip of my drink as Tyler and I sat down together. "So how'd you meet Lauren?"

Tyler looks at me. "I let the wife of one of my friends from high school set me up on a date with one of her friends. Lauren was the friend."

"Oh, I see."

"I was not intending on jumping into a relationship immediately, but Lauren is absolutely amazing."

"How long have you been dating her?"

"Since about the middle of July."

"Oh, I see. Does she have a job?"

"Yeah, she is a realtor."

"Oh, that's cool."

"Yeah, she's amazing. I always noticed that when you and Randy were together, especially when I first knew you got together, that you two were just happy all the time. You two always were doing stuff together whenever you could. I was like that with Camille for a little bit at first, but that phase ended quickly. However, with Lauren, I've felt like that the whole time, and we've been together for over two months."

"Good for you. It's a great feeling. Have you met any of her family?"

"Her family lives in Arizona for the most part, so no. She has a daughter though, which I've met."

"That's cool. What's her name?"

"Her name is Chelsea. She's three."

"Is Chelsea's father in the picture?"

"No, he passed away."

"Oh, that's a shame. Just be careful in this whole situation. You don't want to upset the kid."

"I know that, Marissa. You don't have to tell me that."

"Sorry."

"I'd actually appreciate it if you actually gave her a chance."

"I am giving her a chance."

"Well, could you act like it? I really care about her, and you haven't talked to her."

"I talked to her."

"Barely."

"You pulled her out of that conversation earlier. That's not my fault."

"I just want you to give her a chance."

"I am. You clearly don't understand that. Sorry that I'm a little uncertain after your last girlfriend. I'm gonna grab Randy and head out. Enjoy your birthday."

I stand up and walk over to Randy, who was talking to a few guys.

Randy wrapped his arms around me. "Hey, what's up?"

"Whenever you're done talking, I wanna go home." I reply as I lean on him.

"Already?"

"He's getting on my nerves. I don't want to get in a fight."

Randy kissed my forehead. "Give me a reason to go home with you."

"You can have whatever you want as long as I can go home."

"Whatever I want?"

"Whatever you want."

"Let's go home."

I pulled out the letter numbered thirty as Randy and I sat down on the couch together.

Randy looked at me. "Are you reading?"

I shrug. "I swear it's only one."

"Okay, I decided to take Raw off on Monday on the behalf of both of us."

"Oh, why?"

"It gives us an extra day to relax at home. I think you need it."

"Oh, thanks. I'm going to read now."

Date: January 1, 2005

Dear Marissa, as I sit here celebrating the new year, I think about you and your brothers. I have a lot of regrets. I may never have the opportunity to have all three of you around at once. I hope by this time next year, that'll change.

I love all three of you dearly, and I always will. I hope many blessings come your way this year and your job goes well.

Love, Mom

I put the letter down.

Randy pulls me into a kiss. "You good?"

I smile as I kiss him back. "I'm good. What are we doing now?"

"Well, I was told I could have whatever I want. I think I want to take you to the bedroom."

"I'm okay with that."
