Frank, Wanda, Daisy, and Grant all went to Hell in search of Wanda's children. Frank still clung to the hope that his wife and children were in Heaven, but if he got a lead he'd follow it to his family. It was not long before they were attacked by Jackson's drug-addict minions. Frank Castle had no problem killing those scum. He knew that Wanda had been right, all this did was send them to the torture chamber until Evil unleashed them back on the heroes. But at least this bought them some time. Grant Ward also seemed willing to kill them, at least it would give them some time. But during this fight Daisy was critically wounded. She lost consciousness, and Grant feared she would die.

Ward: Can't you heal her?
Wanda: I'm not that kind of witch. I can send you both back.
Ward: I hate to leave you uys empty handed.
Frank: I can protect her. Save your friend.
Ward: Thank you. Stay with me Sky. You didn't let me die on the plane, I'm not letting you die now.

Wanda opened the portal, and Ward brought Daisy back to Antarctica. The doctors were able to save her. When she was well enough to have visitors most of her old friends from S.H.I.E.L.D. came to see her and wish her well. Eventually, she asked to see Ward in private.

Daisy: Thank you for saving my life.
Ward: We're on the same team, ofcourse I saved you.
Daisy: Why did you call me Sky?
Ward: Did I?
Daisy: Yes.
Ward: I heard that used to be your name. I thought it sounded beautiful. Not that Daisy isn't beautiful.
Daisy: You also said I saved your life. Specifically on the plane. Be honest, are you the same Grant Ward who betrayed us?
Ward: That was a long time ago, in a world that no longer exists.
Daisy: So that would be "Yes."
Ward: I'm sorry. I know I screwed up, but I'm trying to do better.
Daisy: Most of us are. I guess I can keep your secret.
Ward: Thank you.
Daisy: But if you're serious about making amends, you need to tell Coulson and everyone else, the truth. Let them decide for themselves whether to forgive you or not.
Ward: I will, when I'm ready. Do you forgive me?
Daisy: Yes.
Ward: Does this mean you don't want to be together?
Daisy: I don't know. I need some time to think about that.
Ward: Take as much time as you need. I'll be waiting, if and when you're ready.
