Kagome blinked at him, clearly astonished.
"You are unharmed," he said.
She managed a nod.
"I am not finished." He urged, "Continue to think of me."
Before he could resume, she whispered, "Sesshoumaru-sama?"
"Hnn?"
"You're just curious?" Her cheeks reddened. "About… kissing?"
That hadn't even occurred to him. "Taste. Scent. They are connected. We are connected."
"But not… romantically."
He blinked at her, honestly astonished.
Was that the difference between her and Kohaku?
"Hnn," he managed, needing time to consider. "I was not finished."
"Erm… is there another way?"
