Kagome was relieved when Sesshoumaru stopped looming over her. But by the time he'd settled, she was in no less intimate a position. Her head on his arm. His leg between hers.
"Continue to think of me." Belatedly, he added, "While I think of you."
She dared to contradict. "You need sleep. So do I."
Colors swirled and settled on a determinedly deep magenta, only to whisper away, leaving them back at periwinkle again. "I am not finished."
Her small nod made their noses touch.
Sesshoumaru quietly ordered, "Think of me until you dream."
"Calm thoughts," she ordered back.
"Perhaps."
