Harry and his Brainy Girls

By: Sheltie

I don't own Harry Potter or Sailor Moon at all

A/N: warning this has Ginny bashing in it. This one started off with the thought of starting off with Ginny getting smacked down hard and using a character not from HP. So picking Minako was in a way totally random since I didn't have a non-HP character in mind at the start. This will be the start of me adding in non-HP girls into this series and will be a great challenge for me in adding girls not in the HP series. I'm quite shocked that I didn't get much response when I asked about this back in 191. Thought I'd get more feedback than what I got which was pretty much nothing. Using the Japanese name and not the Americanized version. This is an exclusive chap to this series.

Chapter 210: Minako Aino (Sailor Moon)

CRACK!

The redhead known as Ginny Weasley flew off her seat and onto the floor hard. Her cheek stained red in the shape of a hand. She clutched the area with her hand.

"What the hell you bitch" Ginny snarled.

"Shut up you stupid sow" Minako growled.

Everyone in the hall just stared, shocked at the sight. No one moving, not even the teachers.

Ginny got up and went for her wand. Minako though was quicker and her wand was up and pointed at Ginny.

"Just try it. You know what'll happen" Minako said firmly.

Ginny moved her hand away, but she kept her glare on Minako.

"Ms. Aino. What's going on here?" McGonagall asked as she made her way over.

"It's simple professor. This, this, girl. Thought it'd be a great idea to poison Harry" Minako said as she kept her eyes on the redhead.

There was gasps upon hearing this then they noticed Harry wasn't in the hall at all.

"Poisoned?" McGonagall asked shocked.

"Yes, poisoned" Minako said.

"By what?" McGonagall asked fearfully.

"A love potion. Ginerva Molly here thought she could dose Harry with a love potion" Minako said.

More gasps were expelled. Love potions though joked about in conversation was quite serious. If found out the punishments ranged from very heavy fines to jail time.

"A love potion, you can't be serious about this" McGonagall said appalled.

"I am. Madam Pomfrey did the checks, double and triple checked them to make sure. She's filling out a report" Minako said.

"But how do you know it was Ms. Weasley who was the one who did it?" McGonagall asked. She wasn't trying to excuse any blame, but she wanted to make sure she had her facts straight. These kinds of accusations shouldn't be bandied about haphazardly.

"I've got evidence" Minako said.

"You lie" Ginny accused.

"Am I?" Minako asked with narrowed eyes. "Let's get some basic facts out of the way, shall we? We and by we, I mean pretty much everyone in this school know you're dead set on getting Harry. Whether it's because your mom shoved that belief down your throat or it was your idea it doesn't matter since it's all just the same. Ever since you've started here at Hogwarts you've done all you could to get close to Harry, flirting with him excessively. You even dissuaded other girls from Harry."

This was all true. Everyone in school knew about Ginny's complete infatuation with Harry. It was as common as seeing Snape's billowing robes while not a strand of his greasy hair move an inch to Dumbledore offering someone a lemon drop. The thing about Ginny blocking other girls from getting close to Harry wasn't as well known, but a lot of girls knew and knew that the redhead wasn't gentle or subtle in her tactics.

The only girl that Ginny couldn't get rid of was Minako.

Minako was a transfer student from Japan. A bright and vivacious girl that just attracted people to her. Everyone seemed to admire her. Even Slytherins didn't have a bad thing to say about her. Minako was like a goddess in human form. She was kind to everyone she met, quite intelligent, had a figure that was just too perfect that it had to be magically created or she had some Veela blood in her. The last part wasn't true at all, but gossip was always juicier than the truth.

Harry and Minako just hit it off with one another right away. This of course started rumors of their relationship, but neither Harry or Minako spoke about it. Harry though sociable kept his private life private. Minako kept up her outgoing and friendly nature though stayed mum about any personal details about her and Harry except the general stuff.

Another reason for the speculation is how they acted around one another. It was the same, nothing different. That didn't mean they weren't labeled Hogwarts Golden Couple even if their relationship is just assumed.

"How did Ms. Weasley get ahold of a love potion, Ms. Aino?" McGonagall asked.

"Well she didn't make it on her own since she doesn't have the potion grades that'd back it up. So that meant she had to get it by other means. Who her supplier is isn't known right now, but I suspect her mom since I've heard from good sources that her mother was talented in potions though never got her mastery in the subject. I doubt she used the mail since there are wards around this school to prohibit such thing entering that way. Plus that'd be too easy to intercept. My best guess is she used the underground channels that her brothers had set up when they were here. I've heard the Weasley twins could get practically anything inside the castle" Minako said.

"There's nothing, nothing at all" Ginny cried out. "Nothing, nothing."

"Oh, so wish to make a magical oath deny everything I've said?" Minako asked with a vicious smirk on her face.

Ginny's hesitation was noted by all those in the hall and they all took it as a sign of her guilt.

"Don't be stupid. I won't make that kind of oath" the redhead said trying to re-affirm her strong front.

"Why not?" Minako asked, "it'd clear you of all my accusations. Sure, my credibility may take a hit, but that doesn't really matter to me since I've already got the one whose opinion matters the most to me."

This was a declaration of Harry and Minako's relationship without really saying they're dating.

Ginny's face twisted hearing this into an angry expression.

"You bitch, you stole what's mine!" the redhead snarled.

Minako's eyes narrowed, "yours? He was never and has never been yours. Harry isn't some prize to be won. He's a nice, humble, kind person who'd rather be left alone than be stared at and talked about like some kind of attraction. You don't know Harry at all."

Ginny's face was a violent red hearing this. How dare this foreign bitch assume she doesn't know a thing about Harry? She knows more about Harry than anyone here in this damn castle. She's made it her life's work in a way to know everything about Harry to be the perfect girl for him. He played quidditch so that meant she needed to be sporty. Harry liked treacle tart so that meant she needed to know how to cook. Harry's good at Defense so that she needed to have the best scores in defense.

It didn't enter her mind that Harry didn't want someone who molded themselves to his desires. That he wanted someone he could actually be with who was themselves through and through.

"I know Harry" Ginny said like that solved everything.

Minako shook her head. The girl still hadn't gotten it and figured never will.

"We've covered everything I think" she said, "the aurors should be here soon."

"They'll never take your word you foreign bitch" Ginny snapped.

Minako didn't want to reveal this and knew Harry won't be very pleased with it, but knew he'd in the end understand what she had to do. With a small burst of magic a ring appeared on her left ring finger that hadn't been there before.

"I think this will help move matters along in favor of me" she said with such graceful casualness that it belied the astonishing revelation.

Everyone in the hall just stared a the ring on Minako's finger. It was the Potter betrothal ring. There was no mistaking it. There was the Potter crest right on it. That meant that Harry and Minako weren't just dating, they were engaged to be married.

"Ms. Aino, congratulations" McGonagall said after getting over her shock.

"Thank you professor" Minako said with a smile, "Harry and I had hoped to wait til the summer to announce our engagement. So we could have time to be away from it all when it was announced."

"THAT RING BELONGS TO ME BITCH, GIVE IT TO ME!" Ginny roared angrily.

Not caring at all the redhead brought her wand up ready to kill Minako, a horrible spell on the tip of her tongue. She never got it off as her body jerked, her back bowing as her eyes rolled to the back of her head collapsing face first to the floor.

The one who fired the spell was none other than her brother, Ron. He looked ashamed at his fallen sibling. He dropped his wand to the floor to show Minako he was no threat. He bowed his head.

"I apologize on behalf of the Weasley family, Ms. Aino" Ron muttered trying to keep his voice firm and level even though his emotions were in tumult. "I do hope the actions of my sister do not shade your view of the Weasleys."

Minako was surprised by Ron's actions. She didn't think he had it in him to do such a thing. She quickly recovered though.

"I thank you for your quick actions Ron" she said, "and know that Harry will be told this when he gets better. I'll also take what you've done in consideration and know that I do not blame your whole family for what your sister has done."

Ron's shoulders relaxed slightly and nodded.

/Scene Break/

Harry was sitting in his hospital bed looking a bit sullen that he was confined.

Minako entered looking relieved that Harry was awake. He looked pale still, but he was on the road to recovery.

"Harry" she called.

"Hey Minako" Harry greeted.

End

A/N: I hadn't planned on the thing with Ron at all when I started writing this, but as I was nearing the end it just popped into my head to do. Hope it surprised you all. As for ending, well sorry for stopping so abruptly. I couldn't think of anything more and I tried believe me. None of it worked since it either felt too rushed or overloaded. Thanks for reading and please review.
