Chapter 215: We test and soon next week.
(The Loud House.)
March 19, and the front door of the Loud House opens and coming out are The Loud family: Lincoln, Luna, Michelle and Delilah and the four of them are getting ready for what the day has for them. Harriet Willard is with them and holding an empty tray.
"Alright so I'm gonna take Lincoln to his school and then I'm headed to my school" said Luna, she then drinks her cup of coffee and places it onto the tray held by the resident ghost.
Michelle nods. "Alright, I'll drop off Delilah to her school and then head to Reiningers."
They all get into their rides and they drive off. Harriet waves to them and smiles and then she sees they're gone. 'They all have spent so much time trying to maintain their studies and also keep clear from trouble and yet trouble came and brought harm to all of us.'
'At least Lincoln and Delilah are doing fine now, no need for them to get worked up on injuries and stuff and now they can keep track of acing the test today and seeing their grades when April hits and…' Harriet realizes something. 'Luan's birthday is somewhere on April, the third day of it! We need to be careful.'
Harriet then walks back into the house, but then she sees this notification on her phone. "What the heck is Double Dare?"
(Royal Woods Elementary School.)
Lincoln enters the school and he sees everyone is busy with the test for today, and he even sees Richie and Chad speak to each other and they look super nervous, and then he sees Dennis and Patrick going through some notes and are trying to test each other if they can recall what they learned and studied.
'Dang. Looks like everyone is on edge and I can't blame them.' He then walks down the halls and he sees a very familiar Goth girl and he goes towards her. "Hey Lucy."
The Goth girl, Lucy Shapiro and former loud sister to Lincoln looks to the boy and smiles. "Hello Lincoln, and I'm glad you're back on your feet. Now you can be able to do this test, you feeling okay?"
Lincoln nods. "The casts are now off, and same with Delilah. We're both fully healed and patched up for whatever this day has for us and we're prepared for this test. How about…. Are you okay Luce?"
Lincoln could see that Lucy is not her usual Goth self, but she seems more depressed. "Sigh, just upset about where I have to go for tomorrow, which is the dang beach thing and usually I am fond of the beach, unless there are sharks reported there, but this beach has none."
"The whole thing is mandatory for those in my class and the rest of my friends in the Young morticians Club are also caught into this mix and we really, really don't like it."
Lincoln knows how much Lucy hates the sunlight at times and that she really doesn't like positive things. "Lucy, you've changed remember and from what I know, the beach might not be so bad until you've found something that you might like."
"Sure there won't be any sharks to see or something dark and stuff, but there are some nice and awesome things to do while there, and if your friends don't see that. Then they're lost."
Lucy smiles hearing this and she thinks about it. "Hmm, you make a fair point Lincoln. Thanks, I needed that. I'll speak with the others and see what they think." Lucy then takes her leave and she goes to meet with Haiku.
Lincoln continues his way down the hall and he waves to the twins, Lola and Lana who are both talking to each other about what is to come, on March 27, which is the Royal Woods Go-Kart Grand prix.
Lincoln smiles and then recalls. 'Lana Johnson, just wait till Bobbie Fletcher sees how much of a passionate car kinda gal you truly are.'
Lincoln then sees his friends and he waves to them, but then he gets this notification from his phone and so do his friends. "What the heck is Double Dare?"
(Royal Woods High School.)
Luna Loud, the rocker and team leader of the band is putting her books away and then she closes her locker, but she's startled by Carol. "Oh what the heck?!"
"Oh, sorry about that, Lunes. Just wanted to know if you're doing alright, also Sam is in the music classroom and finishing off some stuff she has there, and she wanted me to come and see what you're doing" replied Carol.
Luna sighs. "Dude, the whole startle someone trick was taken."
"Yeah." they get startled when Maggie walks by them. "By my sister and now I'm learning the tricks."
Luna then looks to Carol. "Thanks for the concern, and I am feeling chill after that whole ordeal days ago. Everything's doing good now."
Carol nods. "Awesome, because half the school is on the major urge of being cautious around the place, I mean that kid came and attacked you guy and yet you all put up one heck of a fight" said Carol. "That was pretty brave and I respect what you did, everyone does."
"Thanks, I am getting that vibe of respect from almost everyone in the school, and a lot from the folks around town" said Luna. "Though, most of the attention is going to Michelle, she did finish off that dimwit monster of a child and made sure he won't be able to come back and do something vile again."
"Lincoln and Delilah are all patched up and back on their feet and ready for what the day has for them and we should too."
Carol nods. "No kidding." They then go their separate ways and Carol speaks with Principal Rivers about an ordeal problem within the boiler room that many students are calling the haunted boiler room, but she knows that something else is going on in there.
Luna then sees Sam and she waves to her, then Sam goes towards her with her phone in hand. "Lunes, listen. I know we should be doing our studies and all that, but I wanted you to see this."
Luna takes a look at the phone and sees this notification. "What the heck is this?"
This Tuesday at 4:00 PM, you don't wanna miss the hit brand new show, from the guys who made Legends of the Hidden Temple: Double Dare!
Luna is confused and also intrigued. "Chances Lincoln and the others know about this and I think we might check this out."
"Same here." Sam and Luna then walk to their classroom to get ready for the mid-finals exam.
(Reiningers.)
Michelle Lewis looks closely with the magnifying glass onto the pink dress, she's been told to run some checkups on some of the clothes that could use some inspection and she uses tweezers to remove the small loose thread and then she fixes it.
"There, done." Michelle then puts the dress onto the hangar and she looks at how pretty it is. "Nice, and looking food too. Now, to put you back onto the…" She then sees Miguel at the makeup station and going through his phone.
She then sees Fiona is at her phone and waiting by the register and going through her phone, and then she sees Ms. Carmichael going through her tablet. She hangs up the dress and looks around the mall and sees not many customers are there.
'Well, this makes sense. I mean, today all schools will be going through the big test and all that, which means no customers will be in the mall, yet.'
Michelle then goes to check on her phone and she sees this notification. "What the heck is Double Dare?"
But then she gets this notification about another thing. "Oh no."
A riot occurred the other day at the Traverse City juvenile detention center and even though the chaos has been dealt with, four inmates have been reported missing and are likely on the run. Those individuals are: Chastity Higgins, Regina Westwind, Karen Houseman and Leslie Silver.
These girls haven't been sighted yet, and it is unknown as to what they seek now that they have fled from their punishment. If you do spot them, please report to the local authorities and let them handle the situation.
Michelle knows one thing about this. 'Good god. Delilah is not gonna like this.'
