Ultra Space: Unknown world

In the unknown world in Ultra Space, Drakkor Ferros and four other figures- Scorchingale, who resembled a humanoid phoenix; Floraltox, who resembled a feminine figure with plant-like features, most noticeably the magenta flower with dots on her head; Frost Waver, who resembled a mermaid with ice-like fins; and Namasao, an orange humanoid with white body markings and armor- gathered near a slab.

"Our great ruler's time is soon upon us," Drakkor Ferros said. "Scorchingale, Floraltox, Frost Waver, Namasao. We must set the stage for his awakening."

"I presume you mean the world of Pokémon?" Frost Waver asked, waving her hand aside.

"Lemme at 'em! I've been itching to go all-out! Since Enigma, Earthaia, Hunter Web, and Shock Rock failed, I'll have to make up for their losses!" Scorchingale said, igniting his body in flames to show off his power.

"My, aren't you eager?" Floraltox said.

"Namasao, you're next," Drakkor Ferros said.

"What?" Scorchingale spoke out, before quickly settling down. "Oh, fine. It was your call, after all, Drakkor Ferros."

"Go to Alola and attack," Drakkor Ferros commanded.

"I will head out," Namasao said, and he teleported away.

Melemele Island: Pokémon School

At the Pokémon School, the kids were coming back into the classroom after being out in the field.

When they saw Professor Kukui, however, they noticed that something wasn't right as he seemed rather lethargic and unmotivated to do anything.

"Professor, are you alright?" Lillie asked.

"Oh yeah, peachy," Professor Kukui replied lazily. "Anyway, class dismissed early, feel free to head home."

"But it's so early," Sophocles said.

"Well, I'm not feeling it, so yeah," Professor Kukui said before heading for the principal's office.

The kids followed him there and saw that Samson Oak was also lethargic as they both lied on couches.

"Today I feel rather… ah, nah," Samson Oak said, not even bothering to come up with a Pokémon pun.

"Even the principal," Kiawe muttered.

The kids decided to leave school for now and headed out.

Melemele Island: Hau'oli City

At Hau'oli City, the kids saw that all the adults were out of energy just like Professor Kukui and Samson Oak.

"It's not just the adults at the School," Mallow said.

"It's happening here too," Lana said.

"What about the Wild Kratts?"

"Let's call them," Ash said, and he dialed up his Creature Pod.

It took a while for the Wild Kratts to pick up, but they eventually responded.

"Oh, hey guys. Nothing going on much here." Jimmy said while yawning.

The other Wild Kratts were lazing around, napping.

"The Wild Kratts are tired and slacking off just like the other adults!" Rotom said.

"Well for Jimmy, it's not that surprising, to be honest," Mallow said.

"True," Everyone else agreed.

"Even so, shouldn't they be on the lookout for the villains?" Mallow asked.

"Don't worry, the villains aren't doing anything today. I checked." Koki said.

"So we figured, why not take a break?" Chris said.

"No Creature Adventuring today," Martin said.

"So long, you guys," Aviva said, and the call ended.

"Okay, we have to figure out what's going on," Sophocles said.

Then, a new call rang on the Creature Pod.

"It's Gladion!" Ash said as he picked up.

"You guys, have you noticed the strange things happening right now?" Gladion asked.

"Yeah, it's so bizarre!" Ash replied.

"All the adults seem to be exhausted!" Lillie said.

"What's the status on your end?" Kiawe asked.

"I've discovered Ultra Wormhole! And I might be jumping the gun but, this might have something to do with all the adults being tired!" Gladion replied. "It's over at Ten Carat Hill!" And the call ended.

"We better get there fast!" Lana said.

"Even though we're not being called for an Ultra Guardians mission, it still involves an Ultra Wormhole, so let's take the Ride Pokémon!" Sophocles suggested, and the kids ran for the Pokémon School.

Melemele Island: Ten Carat Hill

Ash and his friends arrived, where Gladion and Silvally were looking up at the Ultra Wormhole.

"Gladion, we're here!" Lillie said.

"Anything new?" Mallow asked.

"Nothing. The Ultra Wormhole is there, but nothing's coming out." Gladion replied.

"Wait, I brought an energy scanner just in case. Maybe an Ultra Beast won't be coming out, but we can still investigate it this way." Lillie said.

Lillie turned on the scanner and looked through it to see some sort of energy flowing into the Ultra Wormhole.

"What is that?" Kiawe asked.

"Some sort of energy is flowing into the Ultra Wormhole. I think it's from all the adults, and that's why they're all tired." Lillie said.

"Then we gotta stop it!" Lana said.

"Do not interfere," a voice said.

The kids turned around and looked up at a cliff to see Namasao.

"So you're the one responsible for this!" Mallow said.

Namasao descended to the ground in front of the kids, who prepared for a fight.

"I am Namasao, one of the Nine Spears of Malummox." Namasao introduced himself. "I have been sent to prepare this world for our great ruler."
