In the world of Malummox's servants, the remaining three members pondered on recent events.

"Namasao has betrayed us, and Scorchingale is no more. This is certainly troubling." Frost Waver said.

"If you ask me, Scorchingale was a foolish hothead who got what was coming to him." Floraltox said. "I offered to help, but he said he could handle it by himself and he sure handled it well."

"That changes nothing. Lord Malummox's revival will soon pass!" Drakkor Ferros said. "To that end, we must lay waste to the world of Pokémon!"

"Drakkor Ferros, may I have a turn?" Floraltox asked.

"Oh, you have a plan?" Drakkor Ferros asked.

"Yes. And rest assured, I won't give in as Namasao did." Floraltox said.

Melemele Island: Abandoned warehouse

At the villains' lair, Zach went out the door and found a strange package.

"Hmm, I wonder what this is." Zach said as he brought the box over to the other villains and they waited in anticipation as Zach opened up the package.

However, when Zach got it open, six seeds shot out, landing on Zach, Donita, Dabio, Gourmand, Paisley, and Rex's heads, putting them under some sort of trance.

Then, Floraltox's voice spoke inside the villains' minds.

"Now, my slaves. Go spread my lovely beauties everywhere!" Floraltox commanded.

The villains said as they took some bags of seeds that were inside the box and headed out.

Melemele Island: Route 1

In the Tortuga, the heroes got a villain alert.

"Looks like Zach, Donita, Gourmand, and Paisley are on the move again!" Aviva said.

"What are they up to?" Chris asked.

"The villains are…" Koki said as she brought up a video of the villains. "…Planting plants?"

The videos showed the villains going around, spreading Floraltox's seeds on the ground everywhere they went.

"Wait, that's it?" Martin asked.

"Do you think we need to get involved this time?" Jimmy asked.

"Just in case, we should. After all, they could be planting invasive plants." Aviva said.

The Tortuga took off and landed in an area where the villains had planted some seeds.

"Now let's see what we've got here," Aviva said as she began scanning a seed. "This seed doesn't match anything on the plant species list. But let's see what else I can find out about it!"

Aviva went back into the Tortuga to examine the seed at her station.

"In the meantime, we should keep a close eye on the villains. Just to see what they're really up to." Chris said.

The heroes then went after the villains who were still spreading the seeds.

As the heroes observed, the villains showed minimal action besides spreading the seeds.

Then, they noticed the flowers on the villains' heads.

"Y'know, I wonder what those flowers are about," Ash said.

"I don't know if it's related, but there's something off about them." Lillie said. "They seem single-mindedly focused on spreading those seeds."

"Yeah, that's weird especially for Paisley!" Martin said. "She'd rather run down plants so she can use the land left behind for herself."

"Let's get some answers!" Chris said, and the heroes stepped up to confront the villains.

"Stop right there!" Ash demanded. "I can't tell exactly what you're doing, but I bet it's bad!"

The villains ignored Ash and didn't even respond back, being more focused on their current actions.

"It's like they didn't even hear you!" Lana said.

"There's definitely something weird going on with them," Sophocles said.

"In that case, let's get to the bottom of it!" Kiawe said.

"Well, according to me, Alolan Detective Rotom, based on Ash and Mallow's previous comments on the flowers on the villains' heads… I believe that the flowers are definitely suspicious!" Rotom said, having changed into its Alolan Detective Rotom disguise.

"Alright, let's try picking them off their heads!" Chris said.

The heroes headed towards the villains and managed to pick the strange flowers off the villains' heads.

The villains quickly snapped out of the brainwashing and were surprised by where they were.

"Hey! What's going on? Why are you guys here?" Zach asked.

"How did we get out here?" Dabio asked.

"Well, looks like they're back to normal." Martin said.

"What do you mean 'back to normal?'" Gourmand asked.

"Well, long story short, you were all being brainwashed by these flowers we picked off your heads." Sophocles replied.

"Brainwashed?" Donita asked.

"Yeah, and you were spreading these weird seeds everywhere!" Kiawe said.

"Spreading seeds, was I really wasting my time doing something like that?" Paisley said.

"If what they're saying is true, then I guess so, Paisley." Rex said.

"What's the last thing you remember before now?" Lillie asked.

"Uh well, it all started with…" Zach began to answer but he was interrupted by a giant drone-like machine in the sky raining down the strange seeds.

"What is that? It's raining down the strange seeds!" Gladion said.

Then, the heroes noticed some of the strange seeds on the ground blooming into flowers.

"Whoa, they became flowers already?" Mallow said.

Then, Aviva called on the Creature Pod.

"Guys, I finished scanning the strange seed, and it's not good what they are!" Aviva said. "When they bloom into flowers, they drain energy from the ground, weakening it!"

"That's bad!" Lillie said.

"Quick, you have to get rid of all the strange seeds and their flowers to minimize the damage!" Aviva said, and she ended the call.

"You heard Aviva! Let's get going!" Martin said.

"Well, thanks for helping us out of that situation we were in there before. So to repay the favor, we'll let you do your thing without getting in your way. Ciao!" Zach said, and the villains retreated.

"Typical bad guys, they don't even stay around to help clean up their own mess." Ash said.

"Forget them. We can handle this ourselves!" Gladion said.

"We've gotta stop that drone and get rid of all the strange seeds and flowers!" Sophocles said.

"Then we'll have to split up!" Chris said.

Martin, Mallow, and Lillie went after the drone, while Chris, Ash, Kiawe, Lana, Sophocles, and Gladion went to get rid of all the strange seeds and flowers.

"Aviva, can you give us an insight about the drone?" Martin called Aviva.

"Well, what I can say is that the drone is heavily armed except for this one small opening." Aviva brought up the schematics of the drone. "That leads to the power core, where something could easily destroy the entire thing by damaging the core."

"Got it! Thanks!" Martin ended the call. "So, how should we go about doing it?"

"Actually, I have an idea!" Mallow said.

"Electrode Burst!" Mallow changed into her Electrode Burst form.

"Now, I'll need the Miniaturizer!" Mallow said.

"Okay, deploy MIniaturizer!" Martin brought out the Miniaturizer. "Never hurts to be prepared."

"Miniaturize!" Mallow used the miniaturizer to shrink to the size of a medium-sized ball. "I should fit into that opening at this size!"

"I see, you're going to use Explosion inside to blow up the drone. That might work." Lillie said.

"Yep! You got that right!" Mallow said. "Tsareena, use your kicks to launch me into that opening!"

Tsareena threw Mallow high into the air, then jumped after Mallow, and landed a strong kick that sent Mallow flying straight into the opening.

"Alright, bullseye!" Martin cheered.

Then, a few moments later, the drone exploded, and Tsareena jumped up again to catch the falling Mallow.

"Nice catch, Tsareena!" Mallow said, and Tsareena returned a happy look as they landed.

Then, Mallow returned to normal size and undid the Burst transformation.

"Now we wait for the others to finish their work," Lillie said.

Soon, they met back with the others who finished wiping out the strange seeds and flowers.

"So, all done?" Mallow asked.

"Yep! We got rid of all the seeds and flowers!" Chris said.

Then, the heroes celebrated another job well done.

"Well, that plan was disappointingly cut short, but I managed to harvest some energy for Lord Malummox." Floraltox said. "His greatness is one step closer to reawakening!"
