Simon was doing his best to fight off Aelita. While he was, Sasha was doing her best to fight off against Aelita's subordinates. When it seemed like she was going to fall, she was saved by Ezrin as he was now a part of Crime Sorciere. With Sasha having some help, Simon could focus on fighting Aelita, revealed to be only the third strongest out of The Ten. Her last attack did some damage. Simon managed to survive, but his Lightning Emperor Armor was a wreck.

"Unreal." Simon said as he was catching his breath. "Even my armor couldn't stop that attack. It was just too much."

"Perhaps it was a good thing you were wearing that armor." Aeltia said. "That last attack would have killed you, but that armor of yours weakened it some. However, that attack was still too much and your armor is now destroyed."

"I have more tricks up my sleeve." Simon said as he requipped his armor again. "Flight Armor! Meteor!" Simon used his armor and spell to move at incredible speed, but Aelita was able to counter that by driving her leg into his gut. "How did she counter against my speed?"

"You'll need more than that." Aelita said. She caused a stone pillar to erupt right under Simon and launched him in the air. Simon requipped again as he changed into Morning Star Armor.

"Photon Slicer!" Simon launched his attack, but Aelita countered with a ray of light and blocked the attack.

"Aqua Pressure!" Aelita caused six geysers of water erupted out of the ground. All of them were about to smash into Simon.

"Sea Emperor Armor!" Simon changed armor again. The water smashed against him. His armor tried to weaken the attack, but the pressure was too much. Simon's armor broke to pieces as he was thrown against the ground.

'She uses all kinds of elemental magic.' Simon thought as he tried to stand back up. 'She must have a variety of tricks up her sleeve. Defeating her won't be easy.'

'He can requip his armor almost instantly.' Aelita thought. 'However, it appears his armor isn't strong enough to endure my attacks. He's done well to survive this long, but I wonder how much longer he can last.' "Progressive Force!" She held out both hands and generated tornados from both of them. Both of them moved around and smashed against Simon on both sides. Simon felt his body being smashed in as he dropped to the ground.

"Not yet." Simon said as he tried to stand back up. "I'm not finished fighting yet."

"You're brave. You seem to have a variety of armors, but it won't be anywhere near enough." Aelita said. "As soon as your friends are defeated, the four of them will aid me in taking you down."

"Don't be so sure. Sasha and Ezrin will defeat them before that happens!" Simon said as he changed into his Blackwing Armor." He flew at Aelita and kept the fight going. While Simon was trying his best to fight off against Aelita, Sasha and Ezrin were fighting against Aelita's subordinates.

"Wind Slicer!"

"Splintering Shards!" Silis and Tammera unleashed blades of winds and sharpened rocks at Ezrin.

"Juzumaru!" Ezrin used his cursed power and sliced right through both attacks.

"How did he do that?!" Silis questioned.

"What kind of weird magic is this guy using?" Tammera questioned.

"That's the thing. I'm not using magic." Ezrin said. "I'm part human and part etherious. I'm actually using curse power. What was once something evil can now be used for something good." Silis and Tammera didn't like the sound of that, but they kept fighting. As for Sasha, she kept fighting Apaki and Aquia.

"Eat this!" Apaki said as she launched a barrage of fireballs at Sasha, but she kept jumping around the attacks.

"I got her!" Aquia said as she jumped in the air. She launched a barrage of water attacks, but Sasha pulled out a pair dual swords and blocked each attack. Apaki charged right at Sasha and tried to strike her with fire. Sasha was able to block the attack, but she was still pushed back from her.

"Sasha, you still holding up okay?" Ezrin said.

"Yeah, but each one of them is tough." Sasha said. "There's got to be a way to take them out at once."

"Just give it up." Apaki said.

"The four of us have been through a lot with Lady Aelita, and we've grown stronger because of that." Aquia said.

"Big whoop. My guild and I are the same, but we still won't lose." Sasha said.

"No worries. Since you want them all taken out at once, I can help with that." Ezrin said. He held out two fingers and aimed right at Silis.

"What are you doing now?" Silis questioned.

"Just watch. Shared Pain!" Ezrin unleashed a beam and blasted Silis with it. Her body was being affected as she felt something strange.

"What's going on?" Tammera said. The power went from Silis to Tammera. It also stretched to Aquia and Apaki. Black markings formed on all four of them with Sasha recognizing it.

'That's what happened to me when we fought Neo Tartaros. Does that mean he was the one behind it back then?' Sasha thought.

"What the hell?" Apaki said as she noticed the black markings all around her and the others. "What the hell did that guy just do to us?"

"This is another curse. It's called Share Pain." Ezrin said. "Sasha, strike at one of them! Any of them!"

"Right!" Sasha said as she pulled out her Twin Busters. She aimed right at Apaki. She fired them and blasted Apaki with them. When Apaki got hit by the attacks, the other three felt the pain that came from the attack as well.

"It's over. All three of you have been linked together." Ezrin said. "Share Pain links the four of you together. Any pain any of you feel, the other will feel as well."

"Is he serious?" Tammera said.

"When one of us gets hurt, the rest of us do?" Silis said.

"Are you kidding me?! I already hate that these three slow me down!" Apaki said.

"Us slow you down?! Don't get me started!" Aquia said.

"Enough of this." Sasha said as she requipped again. This time, she pulled out a new weapon. It was a sword, but the blade looked like it was made out of vines with thorns. "Rose's Root! Prickle Ensnare!" The blade divided and stretched over to each of the girls. A vine wrapped around the four of them and they could feel the thorns. The pain was hard on all of them as they felt their own and the others. Sasha pulled all four of them in and had them together.

"It's over!" Ezrin said as he turned his arms into blades. "Onimaru!" Ezrin attacked all four of them at once with one attack. The shared sensation of pain all four of the girls were feeling was too much for them to handle. All four of them collapsed to the ground as they really felt those last few attacks. Aelita heard what happened and saw they were defeated.

"Apaki, Aquia, Tammera, Silis..." Aelita said as she didn't like seeing those three defeated. Simon saw an opening and took it as he tried to attack her again. Aelita recovered quickly as caused a fist made out of earth came out and smashed against him. Aelita got ready for another attack, but Simon changed quickly.

"Adamantine Armor!"

"Plasma Aurora." Aelita launched a powerful beam of blue and green light. It blasted Simon's shield and it smashed through his defenses. His best armor for defense and she was able to crush it. Simon changed back to his regular clothes, but he refused to surrender. "Enough of this." Aelita caused intense force to push against Simon and kept him pinned down.

"She can use gravity magic too?!" Simon said.

"Simon!" Sasha called as she and Ezrin hurried to help him.

"I don't think so." Aelita said as she formed a massive ball of water above them. "Ocean's Downpour." The water fell down on them like a waterfall. The pressure on the two of them was too great for them. The water splashed around Simon as well. Aelita released the gravity on Simon, but she formed electricity in her hands.

"Laser Dance!" Aelita unleashed electricity in the water. It travelled through the water and all three of them got electrocuted badly from the attack. Aelita was almost like a force of nature. It was hard for any of them to get back up. Aelita wasn't done as darkness formed around her hands and she clapped them together.

"Soul Predator." She unleashed darkness magic and it took the form of a snake. It slithered at all three of them as it swallowed them all. Not only were they taking damage, but they could their energies being drained. When the snake disappeared, all three of them dropped to the ground and it wasn't looking good.

'Such intense power...' Ezrin thought. 'How do we fight someone like that?'

'I was able to fight one of The Ten earlier, but he's nothing compared to her.' Sasha thought. 'The difference in their powers is miles apart.' This wasn't looking good for any of them.

"Understand that I plan to avenge those four." Aelita said. The five of them have been fighting together for a long time.

Flashback

Apaki was running for her life. Things were different before she became part of the Duat Kingdom. She had nothing but the clothes on her back. She was running through a forest as she was running from a wild large boar. Apaki kept running until she tripped on a tree root. The boar was about to attack her. She was ready for the worse, but she was saved at the last minute as the ground impaled the boar.

"Are you okay?" Apaki opened her eyes and was met with Aelita. She looked less like an empress and more like a common woman in those days.

"Yes..." Apaki said. She stared into Aelita's eyes and could see much intensity. Even back then, Aelita had much magic power.

"Come with me." Aelita said as she started walking. Apaki was confused and didn't move. "Do you have somewhere else to go?"

"No." Apaki said. She got up and followed her. Aelita led Apaki to a cave where Silis, Aquia, and Tammera were. They heard Aelita come back as she descended down the stairs with Apaki following.

"Who's she?" Aquia asked.

"She was in danger. I helped her." Aelita said. "She didn't appear to have much. So, I invited her here."

"Hey! You shouldn't assume stuff like that!" Apaki questioned. "Who are you people anyway?"

"My name is Aelita. This is Silis, Tammera, and Aquia. I helped each of them the same way I helped you. They don't have much of a home either. That's why I brought them here."

"Well, thanks for helping, but I don't want anything from anyone." Apaki said.

"Pretty big talk for someone who needed saving." Aquia said.

"I didn't need any help!" Apaki shouted. "It sounds like you're the ones in need of help! You're living in a cave because of this lady!"

"Watch it! Aelita is a great woman who helped us when no one else would!" Aquia shouted.

"Look at that. You two are already arguing." Silis said. "You already have something in common. You're both blockheads."

"Shut up!" Both of them shouted.

"How about all of you shut up." Tammera said as she bashed rocks together over wood. "I'm trying to get a fire going."

"Here." Apaki said as she tossed a spark at her and got a fire going. Aelita was liking what she was seeing.

"Something tells me you'll fit in here." Aelita said. "What is your name?"

"Apaki."

"Apaki, stick around. You might be where you belong" Aelita said. Apaki didn't get it, but Aelita did save her life.

Later

So, Apaki stuck around. With guidance from Aelita, they hunt and survived together. They grew stronger from it. As time went on, Apaki found herself really fitting in with the group. She also found herself more amazed with Aelita.

"What's wrong?" Aelita asked. "Can't sleep?"

"It's not that." Apaki said. "It's just... You already seem like a powerful wizard. Why take in strays like me and the rest of these girls?"

"I'm not naïve to believe I can handle every problem on my own." Aelita said. "Once can go far on their own, but one can go even further with a group." Apaki was amazed with Aelita. She seems like a strong wizard, but she also knows she isn't all-powerful on her own.

Later

The five of them continued to live and survive together. Everything was going well, but that all changed one day. They were resting in their cave, but Aelita sensed something coming. She could feel strong magic power.

"What's wrong?" Silis questioned.

"Someone is here." Aelita said. Someone walked down the stairs and they were met with Terran for the first time.

"You're the ones I was told about? Which one of you is Aelita?" Terran asked. Aelita stood up and faced him. "You're her? You do appear to have some power, but let's see how strong you are."

"You came here to fight me? Who are you?" Aelita asked.

"My name is Terran. I simply wish to see your worth." Terran said as he launched a blast of fire at her. All of them moved out of the way. Aelita rolled straight to him and swung her leg up. She tried to kick him, but he was able to grab her leg and tossed her into the wall.

"Lady Aelita!" The four shouted.

"All of you get out of here!" Aelita said.

"We can't just leave you." Apaki said.

"He's too strong. This could get ugly." Aelita said.

"Let's go." Tammera said as the rest of them pushed Apaki out. Terran just ignored them and kept his focus on Aelita.

"I have no interest in them. I only wish to see your strength." Terran said. Aelita continued to fight on her own. As she fought Terran on her own, the other four continued to run.

"I can't believe we're just leaving her like that!" Apaki said.

"We don't have a choice. She told us to run." Aquia said.

"We wouldn't stand a chance against if Lady Aelita doesn't." Silis said.

"There must be something we can do." Apaki said.

"And what do you suggest?" Silis asked. As they were running out of there, Aelita was trying her best to fight off Terran, but he was too strong for her. She was blown right out of the cave and was beaten pretty badly. Terran held her by her hair as it wasn't looking good for her.

"Perhaps you weren't worth much after all." Terran said. He was ready to finish her, but he was attacked by water and wind. He was forced to release Aelita as Apakai arrived to move her away. "What is the meaning of this?" He looked and saw he was facing all four now.

"We would do anything for Lady Aelita, even risk our own lives!" Aquia said.

"How noble." Terran said.

"We've all been through so much. We won't let you harm her!" Apaki said as the four of them went on the attack.

"No, don't do this." Aelita said as she didn't want this to happen. She couldn't stop it, just lay there and watch. They all fought bravely, but Terran was able to defeat all of them. Aelita hated this sight.

"It was brave of them, but I'm not here for them." Terran said. Aelita found the strength to stand back up. She went right at Terran and struck him right in the gut. It looked liked she got him that time, but he was able to endure it. "Nice try." Terran smacked her away and she was back on the ground. This probably would have been where they die.

"That's enough, Terran." Aelita opened her eyes and she was met with Lord Ankhselam with Serena standing by.

"As you wish, Lord Ankhselam." Terran said. Ankhselam walked over to Aelita and he seemed quite pleased with what he saw.

"Who are you?" Aelita asked.

"I'm sorry. This was merely a test of your strength, but things seem to have gotten out of hand." Ankhselam said. "You and your friends certainly did surpass my expectations. You were able to hold out against Terran, all five of you even managed to survive. I can use someone like you." Aelita didn't really seem interested. "These four have placed their lives in your hands. You owe it to them to lead them to great ones." That caught Aelita's interest. All four of them were willing to risk their lives for her even when she didn't want them to. She brought them together and it's up to her to lead them to live. Ankhselam held out his hand for her. "Come with me. You could go much farther than you have right now if you do." It was then that she joined forces with Ankhselam and they did went further than they have had before.

End of Flashback

...

"The four of them entrusted their lives to me." Aelita said. "They fight alongside me. Even now they give me strength." She started to float in the air and is planning to finish this. She drew in the air and formed a magic circle. Sasha and Simon knew that symbol.

"She's casting the Abyss Break!" Sasha said.

"The what?" Ezrin questioned.

"It's a powerful and dangerous spell that can only be cast when you use the four elements: fire, water, earth, and wind." Sasha said.

"This is bad. That's a destructive spell." Simon said. "If she casts that, it won't just kill us, but it could also take out half of Magnolia." He was trying to get back up, find the strength to keep going. "Get up. Get up."

"This is where it ends." Aelita said as the circle began to glow and she was casting the spell. Aelita became strong from a group and now she's about to use that strength to destroy her enemies.
