By the time Hermione had finished scolding Mayumi, it was all too late. The second-year Ravenclaw had spread the news around the entire school, and some junior students, partly feeling adventurous and partly because the Ravenclaw failed to mention Mayumi's name, decided to try their hand at the little bet.
"They're idiots." Ron groaned, burying his face in his hands, "They, are absolute idiots, and will go bankrupt."
"What do you even use those money for, really?" Hermione peeked at the girl, who sniggered as she counted the deck of signed bets in her hands, "Prank materials?"
Mayumi grumbled.
"Character gacha games eats money like Ron eats food."
