Shinichi is standing out in front of Sonoko's Mansion gate. He press the door bell wait for a maid to come out.
"Mr Kudo!" The maid said while she saw Shinichi outside the gate.
"Can you tell Ran that I'm here?" He asked politely.
"Sure Mr Kudo."
The maid entered the house while Shinichi was left behind. He patiently waiting on his wife outside it takes 30 minutes when the maid comes back.
"Mr Kudo sorry for waiting but Miss Ran told me that she's not coming home with you. She also said that she needs more time and space." The maid said.
Shinichi sighed.
"Tell her I'm really sorry please. I'll be waiting here outside for her. I just wanna talk to her personally."
The maid nods and went back to the mansion. It takes another 30 minutes and Ran finally walking towards him.
"Ran!" Shinichi smiled.
"I misse—"
"Please go home now." Said Ran.
"I'm sorry Ran please let's go back to our house? I really am sorry if I've been over reacting when I saw you with Doctor Araide. I'm sorry fo—"
"Shinichi please... I told you I need a space. We need a space." Her eyes seems sad.
"Look Ran... instead of being apart we should talk and fixed this." He said.
"Please let's go back to our house?" He begged.
Sonoko is walking towards them. She looks at Shinichi.
"Shinichi you are very smart why don't you understand that Ran needs space and time?" Sonoko said.
He looks at Sonoko and then looks back at his wife.
"Sonoko please just go... we're talking, we need privacy." He said.
Sonoko laughs.
"But I owned this mansion and your outside my gate so I have the rights to come here and say what I want besides Ran is my bestfriend and you're a j*rk husband, Ran deserves better. She should've choose Doctor Araide instead of you. He's more better and matured." Sonoko straightforwardly said.
"SHUT UP!" Shinichi yelled, he didn't control his self. Sonoko is talking too much.
"SHINICHI!" Ran looks mad at him.
"Don't you dare to yell at Sonoko again." Ran sounds really upset.
Shinichi can't believed it. Her bestfriend is insulting him and telling in front of her that she deserves better. It hurts for him to see Ran siding her bestfriend.
"Please go home." Ran said.
Sonoko and Ran went back inside the mansion leaving Shinichi alone outside. Shinichi gets inside his car and starts driving no where to go.
His phone rings and see Kaito is calling. He wear his earpod and answered it.
"Where are you now?" Kaito asked on the other line. The loud music is playing in the background.
"Driving."
"Come here now at the party!"
"What party?"
"The secret engagement party for Shuichi and Jodie is happening now!"
"Ohhh..."
"There's plenty of delicious foods and unlimited drinks here C'mon Shinichi! You'll have fun here!"
"Unlimited drinks? Sign me in! I'll be there in 20 minutes." Shinichi said and hang up the phone.
He drives on the way to his house, he takes a quick shower and change clothes afterwards he went to the venue where the party is happening.
He entered the venue and he see familiar faces from work. Some people attend the party is not familiar. He see Kaito in the corner.
"Shinichi!" Kaito calls him.
He walks towards Kaito.
"Hey!"
"Everyone's here! They're having so much fun!" Kaito smiled.
Shinichi wander his eyes.
"I'll find Akako alright? But don't leave the party!" Kaito said and left.
Shinichi walks and gets some drinks, people are really having fun, there's a live band singing a song. Every couple is dancing. He stays at the party and drink several glasses but he's not yet drunk. He's waiting for Kaito who's looking for his Girlfriend but it's taking so long and he's getting bored at the party. He can't find Shuichi and his other friends. He can't find Shiho too. He walks away and went to the rooftop to catch some fresh air. He closed the door behind him and then see her sitting on a lazy sofa bed.
"What are you doing here?" Shiho asked.
"Oh I would like to have some moment alone because the party isn't really my thing." He said.
He see there's an alcoholic drinks on the center table.
"But I'm going home now seems like you're having fun here?" He smiled.
"Can you stay?" She asked.
Shinichi nods. He sit across her and he can clearly see Shiho's face, it's red and he can tell she's kind of drunk.
"Actually I'm not really allowed to be seen with you." She giggled.
He looks at her, her eyes seems very sad.
"Why? Is it because of the rumors?"
Shiho looks at him.
"I'm sorry that people are too dumb to make an issues about our friendship." He added.
"But they're right... I should distance myself because you're a married man." She drinks a bottle of alcoholic drink.
"Guys and Girls can be friends but those idiots spreading news are crazy. You shouldn't listen to them." He smiled.
"How can I ignore them when they're judging me by staring at me like I did a crime. Everyone disliked me." She smiled a little.
"That's not true. Not everyone dislike you."
"Don't feel pity! I'm not really likeable. I'm a boring person."
"You're cool and kind." He smiled.
"I'm not taking compliments." She smiled.
They continue drinking and chatting for hours. Shinichi somehow forgets his relationship problem for a while. It's already 12 midnight and Shinichi feels kinda dizzy. He's drunk and he can't see his vision clearly. He's feeling hot because of the alcoholic drinks he consumed. He took off his shirt because he's sweating. Shiho is already drunk too. She's staring at him and smiling. He smiled back and walk unstable towards her and manage to sit next down to her. He grab her face and put his lips to hers. She gladly returned his kisses passionately and her put her hands to his neck. His hand wander her body and they continued kissing. He lay her down on the lazy couch bed and help her to remove her clothes. They can't stop their lust and continued making love.
