Rocky sighed heavily as he on the steps of a stairway in the palace. Blaze walked over to his cousin and down next to him. The two don't talk as they don't need to. The two have been like that for hours.

Master Wu walked over to the two and sat down. "I'm sure that your parents are all fine." He tried to reassure the cousins.

"But they've been gone for along time." Blaze said worry, and Rocky nods.

"Yeah!"

Alizeh walks over to them. "Will somebody please play with me?" She pouts as she sits down next to Wu. "Please?"

"Alizeh, you can't tell us that you don't miss your parents?" Blaze questioned, looking at her.

"Of course I miss them! They've been gone for hours." Alizeh huffed. "But I also know that they're fine, they're together and are finding their way back here right now." She folds her arms. "Now who's going to play with me?"

"I think a game of tag out in the garden sounds good." Master Wu said, turning to look at the boys.

Inside the Destiny's Bounty, Blaze stood in the control room. Master Wu walked into the room.

"What are you doing in here?"

Blaze turned to him. "Trying to look for a strong signal, so I can talk to my mom." He points. "I miss her."

"It's not fun being the youngest, is it?" Wu asked him.

"No, it's not." Blaze continues to pout. "I wish we were back home." He wraps his arms around himself.

Master Wu places a hand on his shoulder. "It's not easy to be the youngest." He pats Blaze's shoulder. "Come with me out in the gardens."

After playing tag got too rough, it was stopped by Master Wu Now the kids were playing hide and seek. Alizeh walked into the throne room and to hide behind a collum.

After awhile she heard a noise and frowned, that didn't sound like the boys or Wu. She moved her head slightly to see King Vangelis talking. But he was the only one near this throne. Her eyes grew when she saw him turn slightly and he was talking to an eerie glowing green skull, she didn't know what they were saying cause they were on the far side of room.

Alizeh quickly hid behind the collum when the King started to walk away from his thrown and the skull disappeared. She watched as the King walked out of the room completely.

Once she was alone, Alizeh looks at the doors then to the throne. She hurries over to the chair and frowns as she looks at it, she grabs the chair and roams it with her hands. Standing up, she frowns, until she sees a button on the arm rest she reaches for it, but jumps startled when a hand lands on her shoulder, she looks up to see the King.

"Can I help you, Young One?"

Realizing she's been caught, Alizeh turns to him. "I'm sorry." She quickly apologized as she took a step backwards. "I was playing hide and seek with my friends, and Uncle Wu." She tried to move. "And I think I hear my Uncle Wu calling for me now." She started to turn around, but the King grabbed her arm.

"You're not going anywhere."

In the gardens, Wu is admiring the flowers. "Ah, a beautiful blossom. So peaceful." After smelling the flowers he moves from to the other flowers. "I must remember this moment. The beauty of it, the calm. If only the ninja were here to enjoy it."

Rocky and Blaze walks up to him. "Master Wu have you seen Alizeh?" Blaze asks. "She got mad at us and stormed off towards the Bounty, but that was an hour ago."

Rocky nods. "Yeah! We looked all over the Bounty."

"I'm sure she's around here somewhere." Wu reassured them.

"But."- Rocky is cut off by a grunt from behind him.

"Ugh, come on!" Cole grunted, and a noise is heard.

The three turn to see Cole and Vania walk out from the tunnel.

"Dad!" Rocky cried, running over to him and hugging his waist.

"Hey Champ." Cole smiled, returning the hug.

"Cole? Princess Vania? What happened? Where are the others?" Wu asks concerned and confused.

Cole frowns. "You mean they're not back?"

Wu shook his head. "No." He looks at Vania. "And you, Princess. You gave me your word that you wouldn't enter the mines!"

"Oh, did I?" Vania asks as Chompy flies off her shoulder and goes into the bush. "Did I actually give my word? I thought it was more of a … possibility."

"It was most certainly not." A not happy Master Wu said as Chompy climbed up him and stood on his head.

Rocky and Blaze looked at each other as they tried to hold in their laughter at the little dragon.

"I guess I'm not very good at doing what I'm told." Vania replied.

"I'm beginning to see that." Wu said, just as Chompy lowered his head to look at him upside down, causing his hat to tilt forwards and making the two boys laugh. "And whose dragon is this?" He asks as Chompy jumps off and flies towards a bush.

"That's Chompy." Vania smiles as Chompy comes out with some flowers in his mouth. "He's mine."

Chompy glides back to them to stand in front of Wu.

"Is he a Shintaran Ridge-back?" Wu asks in amazment.

"He's just Chompy. Chompy." Vania said as she shrugged. "Chompy, will you quit eating the flowers? Ugh. You're just gonna barf."

The small dragon looks up at her, then eats the flower before letting out a roar.

"We've got bigger problems, guys. There's an evil sorcerer in the mines, and he's got this magic skull, and he commands an army of skeletons! We got separated and barely escaped. They must still be down there!" Cole told them.

"Mom!" Rocky gasped, grabbing Cole's arm. "And Uncle Kai!"

Cole turns to him. "Don't worry Champ, your dad's going to rescue them." He looks at Blaze. "Come here you." He holds out an arm, Blaze hurries over to him and hugs his uncle tightly.

"How? How could all that be down there without anyone up here realizing it?" Wu asks with wonder.

"I don't know, but we have to tell my father immediately!" Vania exclaimed.

"The king needs to send his guards to stop this weirdo. If his skeleton army ever reaches the surface, all of Shintaro would be destroyed." Cole said.

They turn and hurry off.

King Vangelis is back in his throne room with a very long scroll in his hands. "And please ask the Accounting Department for a report on the latest shipment of Venge."- He's cut off when the doors swing open.

"Father, we must speak with you." Vania tells him. "It's an emergency!"

Vangelis rolls up the scroll and gives it to the guard who's closest. "Vania? Wu? What emergency? What's this all about?"

The three guards soon fly out of the room.

"The mines! They're not as empty as we all believed!" Vania explained as she, Cole and Wu walked farther in. Rocky and Blaze poke their heads in front around the corner, the boys hurry in just as the double doors close.

"You went underground?" Vangelis was angry.

"I had to, father. Cole and the other ninja were trapped!"

Cole smiled as he took a step forward. "It's true. She saved my life."

"I told you never to go down there."

"Please, don't be angry, father."

Vangelis leaned back in his chair. "I'm not angry, just saddened. You have forced my hand."

"What do you mean?" Vania asks confused.

Chompy sees something that gets his attention, he quickly hurries over to something that's covered by a blanket and sniffs it. Rocky and Blaze hurry over and frown at the blanket.

"Children, please don't play over there." Vangelis tells them, then turns back to Vania. "I love you, child, but why don't you ever listen? I was trying to protect you."

"I know, I'm sorry, but you need to understand. There's a dark evil down there called the Skull Sorcerer!"

"Yeah, and he's got this evil magic skull that glows red, and these two huge wings, and."- Cole is cut off by the King.

In the corner, Chompy lets out a roar once he hears a muffled sound. Rocky and Blaze grab the blanket and yank it back.

"Are you certain?" Vangelis narrows his eyes.

Cole took a step forward, placing a fist on his chest. "I saw him."

The daughter of the Green Ninja sits on the floor, her hands bound behind her back, her ankles tied and her mouth gagged.

"And you're certain it wasn't." Vangelis takes out the Skull of Hazza D'ur. "Green?" He transforms into the Skull Sorcerer.

Cole, Vania, and Wu gasp in shock.

"No!" Vania cried.

"You're the Skull Sorcerer?" Cole questions as Chompy bites and chews on the rope that has Alizeh's ankles bound, while the boys try to untie the rope from her wrists.

"Why?" Wu questions.

The Skull Sorcerer flies up. "Perfection, I'm afraid, has a cost. And the cost is Vengestone. It comes from the mines."

"From the mountain, from the earth." The Skull added.

"The People of Shintaro may not realize it, but their magnificent city, the lives of bliss and joy that they lead, is paid for by Vengestone. Fortunately, I found a customer willing to pay dearly for it."

"I don't believe it. You - you wouldn't. You couldn't!" Vania cried.

"Well, it ends now!" Cole yells, pointing at Skull Sorcerer.

"In that respect, sadly, you are correct." He attacks Wu with the skull, knocking down.

"Uncle!" Alizeh cries, running over to him.

"Master Wu!" Cole cried, running over and is hit and knocked down.

"Dad!" Rocky cried.

"Uncle Cole!" Blaze cried, and the boys rush over to Cole.

"No!" Vania cried.

"The Skull!" Master Wu cried as he and sits up with Alizeh, Cole is stands up with the help of Rocky and Blaze. "Get the skull!"

"Chompy, go!" Vania orders, the little dragon runs down her arms and flies towards Skull Sorcerer, but yelps as he's knocked down. Cole and Wu drop into defense stances. Skull Sorcerer flies back to the throne and presses a button. The floor under the Ninja open and they drop down.
