To say those at the office were rather surprised when not only Dazai, but three members of the Port Mafia, had come through the door was definitely an understatement. If he were to be honest, he wasn't expecting so many people to be here this late, but then again the work had started to pile up, so late nights should have been foreseen. While Gin took Tachihara over to an empty seat so she could work on his gunshot wound, Dazai turned his attention to the others, who were staring at him with wide and confused facial expressions.

"Hm? Why are you all looking at me like that?" Dazai asked in his usual innocent tone.

"Um well-" Atsushi had started to speak, but was silenced by the sound of a hand slamming down on a nearby desk. Yelping slightly, the silver haired boy jumped back slightly, his eyes falling on a very...angry looking Kunikida. The blond was on his feet, glaring hard at a certain suicidal maniac.

"What the hell is going through your damn head this time, Dazai!? I knew you weren't right in the head but this is definitely crossing a line! Why do you have members of the Port Mafia with you!?" Kunikida was basically screaming at this point, which was nothing new especially when dealing with Dazai.

"Oh come on now, Kunikida! Don't look so angry at little old me! Atsushi! Come here for a moment!" Dazai simply smiled before turning his attention to the boy with the asymmetrical haircut. He looked just as nervous as ever, but he pranced over to Dazai, tilting his head curiously to the side.

"What is it, Dazai-san?" He asked just as his eyes fell on a figure on the brunette's arms. This was… "Is that...Chuuya-san!?"

"That's right! You're such a smart little tiger boy! Please take him to the infirmary and get in touch with Doctor Yosano for me." Dazai smiled more as he shoved the still sleeping ginger into the nervous looking boy's arms. "Don't worry, he's really light!"

"You have some serious explaining to do, you fool! Start talking before I strangle your scrawny neck!" Kunikida had made his way over to Dazai rather quickly, only to grasp onto the collar of the other's shirt. "You literally brought three of the enemy into our damn office! Have you completely lost your mind!?"

"Could you please stop yelling, Kunikida. Chuuya is sleeping and I don't want him to wake up right now. I promise I'll explain everything if you just let go of me!" Smiling innocently, Dazai held his hands up, showing that he surrendered. However, he really needed Kunikida to stop yelling because Chuuya was in an unfamiliar place and he was sure the other would freak out or something. "Go on, Atsushi. If he wakes up, please assure him that you're not an enemy. Tell him that Dazai will be in as soon as possible."

"Uh-yessir!" Atsuhi looked rather awkward holding Chuuya in his arms like that, but he quickly hurried out of the main office and toward the infirmary, leaving Dazai to deal with a more than irritated Kunikida. Once the silver haired boy was gone, Dazai turned his gaze to the blond who was...impatiently waiting for answers.

"Chuuya's here because his memory is completely gone. Those two, Gin and Tachihara, helped me get him out of the Port Mafia hospital wing. During a mission, he ended up using Corruption when I wasn't there and it nearly took his life from him. He's been in a coma for at least a month and just woke up. As of right now, he's no threat to us." Dazai's tone had shifted from innocent to rather serious as he explained the entire situation to Kunikida.

"You're trying to stand there and tell me that he has absolutely no memory of anything? Do you honestly think I believe you, Dazai? He could just be faking it or something just to infiltrate!" Kunikida let out a low growl before shoving Dazai back slightly. "You must be insane…"

"Chuuya would never lie about something like that. All he knows is his name and that he has a special ability. He has no idea who anyone else is. When Mori first came into contact with him, he was literally terrified and I've never seen that expression on his face before. He isn't faking it. He's only here so Yosano can heal his injuries, then I plan on taking him to a different place, one that Mori won't be able to find him." As Dazai spoke, the irritation on Kunikida's face didn't face away. If anything, it just looked like it was getting worse, though this was expected.

"Alright...let's say I believe you. What will you do if Yosano's healing ability restores his memories? You know how he'll react and the office could easily get destroyed." Kunikida had lowered his tone a bit and even released Dazai from his grasp, but he still wasn't happy about having three members of the Port Mafia in their office. "And what about those other two?"

"Tachihara and Gin mean no harm to us this time around. If it wasn't for them, I may not have gotten out of that place alive, especially since I was carrying a fragile Chuuya in my arms. It's because of them that we made it back here and Tachihara ended up getting injured…" Dazai let out a small sigh as his own gaze shifted to the pair sitting quietly in the corner. The red head had removed both his jacket and his shirt and Gin was currently working on fixing up the gunshot wound. Not only that, but it seemed Kyouka had gone over and started fixing up the jacket Tachihara normally wore.

"If they aided your escape, that means they might be seen as traitors to the Port Mafia… You're aware of that, aren't you?" Kunikida asked, only to see Dazai nodding his head a bit.

"I am aware of that, and they were aware of it too. Michizou tried to stop Chuuya from using Corruption on that mission, but it seemed Chuuya had already made up his mind. Mori was fully aware of what was going to happen on that mission and he didn't bother to tell me. Sure I had my suspicions, but he knew better than to use that form if I wasn't around… Also, I don't think Yosano's ability will fix his memory." A soft sigh escaped from Dazai's lips as he returned his gaze to the blond who seemed to have calmed down for now. "I think it's more than just simple amnesia…"

"What do you mean by that? How could it be more than amnesia?" Kunikida lifted a brow curiously. Surely Dazai wasn't thinking this could be the work of a gifted. If that were the case, the effects should have disappeared the moment he touched Chuuya. There were no exceptions to his nullification ability after all, at least none that they had seen so far.

"I know what you're thinking and you're right. There are no exceptions to my ability. There hasn't been a single ability I can't nullify, which is exactly what's throwing me off. If Yosano's healing ability doesn't fix his memory, I'll fully believe it's a type of gift that requires something more than simple nullification to get rid of it." Dazai was definitely frustrated by this. There wasn't anything he couldn't undo, so if Yosano couldn't fix Chuuya, what exactly was wrong? Could it be a different type of gift…? Maybe Arahabaki was doing something inside Chuuya's body. After all, they had been merged together when Chuuya was only seven years old.

"All of the gifted people we fought on that mission…" Tachihara had started speaking, earring everyone's attention. "Most of them had simple abilities. One had a speed ability, one had ice, fire, and a few others but...there was one guy who stood out from the others…" He slowly lifted his head, looking at every single one of the detective agents carefully.

"Stood out in what way exactly?" Kunikida asked, seeming rather interested about this new information. He had heard about this new group that had formed, and they seemed to have a decent mix of ability users, but not too much was known about them. They were known for causing trouble not only for the Port Mafia, but for the Armed Detective Agency as well, so they were definitely a pain but they hadn't had much time to do research.

"I think he was their leader. He stood back until Chuuya took on his Corrupted form. While the rest of his comrades were running in fear of Chuuya, he was slowly making his way toward him. It was him who threw Chuuya down for the final time before Dazai got a hold of him. Long red hair, scruffy looking beard, green eyes that looked as if they would send your soul flying from your body. Something was off about him, but I don't know what it was. I think he did something when he landed that hit on Chuuya, but then Dazai got him and he ended up passing out. So far, we don't have much information on these members other than what some of their abilities are. If we had to pick them out of a crowd, we definitely could though."

Once Tachihara finished talking, Dazai thought back to when he arrived on the battlefield. He recalled seeing a man that fit Tachihara's description, but he also remembered that guy disappearing right before his eyes. Did he have more than one ability? No that couldn't be possible...could it? It was going to be a long process, but they were going to have to start going through records of every person in Yokohama with an ability in order to find who they were dealing with. Even then, nothing was guaranteed. This enemy was going to be much more difficult than the Guild had been, maybe even more difficult than Fyodor…

"Ronpo." Kunikida suddenly turned toward a man in what looked like some kind of Sherlock Holmes getup. The raven haired male had been munching on snacks, looking as if he hadn't been listening, but once he turned around, he simply nodded his head. Had he really caught everything they had just been talking about. "Can you solve it?"

"Possibly, but it's going to take me a little more time than normal. I believe this group already has some kind of intel on all of our abilities, so they could use them against us. While it isn't easy to throw a great detective like me off, it isn't exactly impossible either. We'll have to start looking into this immediately! ...After I finish my snacks." With that, Ronpo turned himself back around to where he was facing the window. Just how childish was this guy? Sometimes Tachihara wondered how someone could be that childish yet so smart at the same time. It was freaky.

"As for you two." Kunikida shifted his gaze to Tachihara and Gin, giving them both a bit of a glare. "While I'm not happy having two of the Black Lizard in this office, you might have information we need, so I don't intend on letting you leave until you tell us everything you know about this group. As for Dazai…" The blond let out a small sigh, looking toward his comrade. It didn't take much to figure out that he was truly worried about the gravity user's condition. "Wherever you plan on taking that boy, make sure it's where no one can find him. He could be a potential target for this group due to his power, but if his memories are scrambled like you say they are, it could end badly if he gets captured before making a full recovery."

"I don't need you to tell me that, Kunikida. Once he wakes back up and can walk, I have a place I'm going to take him. It's a place he and I used to stay at all the time. Not even Mori knows where it's located. He won't be found on my watch." Dazai responded, giving the blond a bit of a dark look. If Chuuya really was some kind of target for them, then it only meant he had to be on his guard even more while Chuuya's memory was gone.

"Dazai-san!" Atsushi had suddenly come running back into the main office, panting slightly. He looked a bit freaked out, but then again this boy was always a little more on the nervous side.

"Aw, what's wrong Atsushi? Did Chuuya scare you or something?" Dazai asked in a bit of a teasing tone. "He's harmless right now, so please don't worry."

"Dr. Yosano did her thing...got him all healed up, but he's panicking and looking for you… He's got the infirmary all torn up and holding him down is pretty much impossible thanks to his ability. Please, go see him and make him settle down!" Atsushi quickly bowed his head out of respect, but Dazai couldn't stop himself from laughing softly. He should have known Chuuya would have that kind of reaction once he could walk again.

"Right then! I'll go settle him down and then I'll get moving! Thank you all for your cooperation!" Giving them all one final smile, Dazai exited the office and started heading toward the infirmary where Chuuya was being held. At least he knew his Chibi could still be wild like that, even if it was out of fear instead of anger. Still, he couldn't help but wonder what exactly happened during that fight. If his memory wasn't back, then that meant it wasn't amnesia thanks to a head injury. It was definitely something more, and Dazai had no clue what it was.

"Chibi...just what happened to you…?
