SpeedMaster642: New 52 Barry won't remember a damn thing about the Flashpoint or before it. This is New 52 now, Nathan's stuck on an Earth wher ehe doesn't exist, his friends won't know who he is, nor have they become the Justice League, so there would be no point in visiting a person who won't know who the hell he is.
Nathan, dressed in the same clothes as before, walked down a street in the city of Washington DC. It had been two weeks since he woke up ti find himself on a different, changed Earth. Since then, he kept to himself, not going out his way to fight crime just now until he at least settled into a place. He slept in alleyways for now, going back to his hold routes to his first year as Spawn when he stayed in the darkness of the alleyways and made them his personal home, killing anybody that dared come to them uninvited.
As he made his way down the street, something caught his eye on a rooftop and he looked, narrowing his eyes to see the figure clearly. What he saw made his eyes widen in shock. It was a creature clad in golden armor and had what looked like a demonic insectoid like appearance. Nathan has seen plenty of these creatures before.
'A Parademon?! What the hell is a Parademon doing here?!' Nathan thought with worry as he saw the servant of Darkseid disappear from his view.
Running down an alleyway, Nathan changed into his Spawn uniform and leaped up onto a rooftop. He looked around for the Parademon and ran, leaping onto the rooftop he saw the Parademon on. He narrowed his eyes as he scanned the area, searching for the creature.
He sensed something behind him and quickly ducked to avoid being tackled by the Parademon, causing it to crash to the ground. Nathan looked and saw the Parademon as it started getting to it's feet, snarling at Nathan.
"Okay, buddy...let's dance." Nathan said as he ran and leapt at the Parademon who flew at him...
Meanwhile, on another part of the city, a certain black haired woman dressed in red and silver was walking down the street with a sword in hand, making the crowd back off away from her.
"Has anyone seen a Harpy?" Diana Prince asked, searching the area for the Harpy she was hunting. She had been sitting in a room that Steve Trevor told her to wait in, bored out of her mind, before she clicked on the TV and found nothing of interest when she stumbled upon a news report showing what looked like some kind of Harpy, so she made her way into the city to find it and was now asking if anyone had seen it...nobody was giving her answers except backing of from her.
"I was told a winged monster was attacking some of you." Diana continued as she strolled down the street in her search for the 'harpy'. Thinking these people didn't know what a Harpy was, she decided to explain. "Harpies are nasty creatures, but they won't be a bother once their heads are severed." She still got nothing from the people. "I am speaking your language correctly, am I not?"
"Cool! You're Wonder Woman!"
Diana paused and turned to see a little girl looking at her in awe and amazement while holding an Ice Cream in her hand. Smiling softly at the child, Diana crouched to a knee and said. "My name is Diana." Honestly, what was it with people giving names when she already had a name?
"My name's Raquel." The girl gave her own name.
Diana nodded. "Thank you for speaking with me, Raquel. You're not afraid of me?"
Raquel shook her head. "Not really."
Smiling wider at that, Diana looked at the Ice Cream the girl held and was curious about it, so she asked. "What are you eating?"
A drop of the Ice Cream fell onto the ground and Diana scooped it up with her sword as Raquel replied. "Oops, Ice Cream."
Diana looked the treat over, raising an eyebrow. "Ice Cream?"
Raquel looked at her in shock. "Have you ever had Ice Cream?"
"No." Diana shook her head.
"It's the greatest food in the world if you ask me."
Humming at this, Diana stood and looked at the Ice Cream vendor, pointing her sword at him to show the Ice Cream, not knowing she was scaring the poor guy by having her sword pointed at him. "May I try some Ice Cream? And another for my friend."
The vendor shakily nodded and gave them two cones. "Yeah...Yeah sure, just...just don't take my arm off with that thing...oh boy..."
Diana took a taste of the Ice Cream and her eyes widened. "Hm. Ice Cream is wonderful." She looked at the vendor. "You should be proud of this achievement."
"Um...thanks." The vendor said, not knowing what else to say when a beautiful woman has a sword in her hand.
"Diana!"
At the call of her name, the Amazon princess turned to see Steve walking towards her, so she waved him over as two government officials led Raquel away to find her parents. "Steve! Have you ever had Ice Cream? You must try it! This cook is blessed!"
Steve shook his head, he should've known she'd get curious about the world. "You need to come back to the Pentagon."
Diana huffed and rolled her eyes. "You sound like my mother."
Steve ignored that and said. "I'm your appointed Liaison. I don't like it any more than you, but-"
Steve was interrupted when something slammed into the truck near them, sending it crashing and skidding across the ground. Diana and Steve blinked in surprise as they saw a dark figure with a red cape groaning.
"Dammit, that little..." He grunted as he got to his feet. He cracked his back and rolled his shoulders before looking at Steve and Diana, his green eyes widened in surprise before he said. "Evening."
Of all the things Nathan expected to run into, a Parademon and this world's Diana wasn't two of those things. he had been fighting the Parademon for a while now and it ended up dragging them across Washington, and the Parademon gut a lucky shot in by punching him in the face, which sent him crashing into a truck.
"What the hell is that?" Steve asked, looking up at the Parademon that was releasing what sounded like 'Ping' noises.
"It's not a Harpy." Diana stated.
Nathan narrowed his eyes at it. "No, He's just an annoying little bastard that I am gonna hurt to China and back." He said, crushing his fists together. The pings got louder and intense when a Boom Tube opened with more Parademons spilling out of them, causing the civilians to panic and run. "Oh now y'all running. Right, more guys to hurt, this day just got better."
Diana nodded in agreement. "It is an excellent fight to be had!" She raised her sword at the incoming Parademons. "Leave them to me!"
She than launched after them with a war cry and quickly began to cut a brutal swath through the invaders. Nathan gave her a whistle of appreciation before he quickly joined her in her assault on the forces of Darkseid and Apokolips.
Nathan summoned his chains to wrap around a Parademon and bring it into his sword, which he summoned, then he started slicing and dicing through any Parademon that got in his way. He summoned a ball of fire and threw it directly into the face of a Parademon, then kicked another in the face. Nathan used his sword, chains, cape, fists, and legs to fight the soldiers of Darkseid off.
Diana, from what the Hellspawn can see, was having the time of her life as she was slashing and hacking Parademons left and right with a look of excitement on her face. Nathan couldn't help but find that really hot, but he quickly focused on the fighting rather than admiring how hot Diana looked when she was at work.
Nathan kicked a Parademon into another, then used his chains to grab one by the legs and used it as a weapon, hitting Parademon after Parademon. He spotted one about to sneak up on Diana but his cape lashed out and wrapped around it, causing it to snarl loud enough for Diana to whirl around, and upon seeeing it restrained for her, she decapitated it with a swing of her sword.
Diana looked at Nathan and nodded to him in gratefulness for his aid there. He nodded back and quickly got back to fighting, piles of Parademons piling up at his feet to the point he had to stand on the piles. He spread his cape out and rifles and miniguns of all kinds appeared from them and started firing at the Parademons as he spun around, laughing at the same time. He then summoned a chain from the ground to impale a Parademon then brought his fist down into it's face, destroying it's head and whatever was inside of it. (AN: It's one of Spawn's Fatalities from MK11)
"That never gets old." Nathan said to himself as he got back to fighting the Parademons while Diana dealt with the rest on the ground
"Foul creatures! You shall taste my blade!" Diana said with a savage grin as she threw her sword into one of the Parademons and nailed it right in the head.
She smirked at her accomplishment as she quickly ducked under another Parademon's swipe and smacked it away and heeled kick another's jaw off with a ease. She looked up to see the strange man in black, red and white fighting off the creatures with chains, his fists, his legs, and strange glowing green powers. She watched him teleport behind one, and rip one of his chains through it's back before ripping it's spine out.
Diana grinned at seeing such remarkable skills from the warrior as she spun and kicked a Parademon in the head then stabbed her sword through it's stomach, ripping it out quickly to impale another right through the jaw into it's head, then kicked it away, causing the body to be ripped from the head so she flung the head off with her sword and cleaned her sword of the creature's blood.
She heard a cape flap and looked to see the strange red caped warrior land near her, and she gave him a nod of gratitude and respect. "You fight well, warrior. I thank you for the assist, but I had it handled." She said with a grin, a hand on her hip.
"I'm sure." Spawn chuckled before he looked up at the remaining Parademons that were heading somewhere else. He then looked back at Diana. "So, who are you may I ask?"
Diana shook his extended hand. "Diana, but many call me Wonder Woman."
"You do seem like a wonderful woman, Diana" Nathan commented which earned a giggle from the young princess. "My name is Spawn."
"Intriguing name." Diana said to which Nathan shrugged at.
"Now, better go hunt these suckers down before they harm anybody else." Nathan said and looked at Diana. "I could use a partner to help me."
Diana grinned and raised her blade. "Then we shall go fight together, Spawn."
With that, she grabbed him by the arm then leaped through the air and onto a building before doing it again.
'Guess she can't fly yet.' Nathan thought to himself before he spotted a group of people in trouble from Parademons. "Throw me down there! Those people need help!"
"Are you sure?" Diana asked.
"Yeah..." he looked at her. "Save some of the fighting for me, will you?"
Diana chuckled. "No promises." With that she leaped again, spun around and threw him towards the group of Parademons...
That's it for part 1 of this arc. In the next chapter, Nathan battles Parademons then meet's this world's Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman.
