"Goldie, where are we going?" Aileen complained. "Somewhere" Goldie responded hurriedly. Goldie had already packed up camp and was heading to the rogers center, where Goldie and Aileen were supposed to meet Black Widow. "Do you have a weapon?" Goldie asked. " what? Why would I have a weapon? all the mortals would see me." Aileen responded raising her voice.
They were wearing blue jay shirts to blend in with the crowd. Goldie was wearing a Troy Tulowitzki shirt that she bought; she always bought a new Troy Tulowitzki shirt every time. The last one didn't fit her. She also had painted a gigantic Toronto Blue Jays logo on her face, which Aileen refused to have painted on her face.
As they entered the Rogers center the security guards asked for tickets Goldie gladly handed the tickets to the guards so they could let them in. She couldn't believe she had her nightmare during winter, and now it was near summer. How did time fly by so quickly? This was supposed to be a one week mission that turned into a mission that lasted for months. When they finally got in, instead of heading towards the pitch Goldie ran to the gift shop and bought a baseball bat, then handed it to Aileen.
"There your weapon" Goldie said as she handed the baseball bat over to Aileen. They walked for about five minutes searching for their seats. When they finally found their seats they sat down and waited for Black Widow.
The Milwaukee Brewers batted first, which went by quickly. It was now the bottom of the first inning. First up to bat was George Springer. The pitcher threw a curve ball at him. George Springer didn't try to hit it and it didn't go over the plate but the umpire still called out strike. Suddenly everyone started booing and Goldie screamed "that was a ball not a strike you son of a giant!".
Goldie felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see who it was. It was Aileen, "he's been here for like twenty minutes now, do you know him" she asked pointing at Black Widow who was quietly waiting for Goldie to notice that he came. Sadly Goldie would have never known he came if Aileen hadn't pointed him out to her.
"So uhhh… are you ready?" Black Widow asked.
"Ya I'm ready" she responded sadly, disappointed that she didn't get to see the rest of the game.
They made their way outside to see that Hippolytos was already making his way to the CN Tower.
