"No, you're not a princess, you are a fighter. What about that gun toy, Nina? It suits you better, look. Do you like it?"

"Yes, I liked that one."

*Nina at age 8*

"My little soldier will be the best fighter in the world, won't she?"

"Yes, I will be and I will make dad proud!"

*Nina at age 12*

"No, Nina you can't go there today. We have to workout, remember?"

"Yes, father." She accepted her fate. When Anna left, she stayed home and practiced with her dad.

*Nina at age 14*

"Nina, focus. I would've broke your neck if we were in a fight. You cannot lose your attention even for a second!"

"Sorry, father."

*Nina at age 15*

"It's not perfect yet, you can't go now."

"But Anna left, why can't I?"

"You have to do better, the best! Don't compare yourself with anyone. If you really want to compare, then compare with the best. Or do you want to be ordinary?"

"No, father."

*Nina at age 17*

"I know your potential. You can be very useful for this country. Don't waste your time over stupid things!"

"Sorry, sir."

She woke up slowly in a large comfortable bed. There was medical units around her.

What happened?

She didn't like that she's experiencing this again.

She heard some voices behind the door.

"Let me know when she woke up. And don't let anybody else in before me."

That was Jin Kazama.

Jin Kazama. Who- What was he? What happened to him. Was he possessed, like she did years ago by Ogre?

She remembered that she was really scared when he tried to kill her. But it wasn't death she was scared of. It was solely him, in that situation. Like it was the root of evil in front of her and there was no hope for anything.

When the door started to open she act like she is still sleeping. She guessed it was a medic checking on her.

After a few minutes passed, whoever it was left. She opened her eyes.

What should she do now? Escape? Or wait for him to come? Will he try to kill her again?

No, she can't wait. She removed everything off and get up. She had a black vision for a short time because she stood up quickly. When she gained her vision back, she silently open the door and checked if anyone was around. She started to walk quickly and silently. When she left the health center now she could recognise the surroundings. She was still in headquarters.

Where should she go? She didn't have any gun on her so she should go to her office to take one.

She reached there at last and took a gun from her drawer. She checked the bullets and closed the drawer and right then she heard the door was opening. She immediately pulled the trigger and took aim.

It was Jin Kazama. Her heart started to beat faster. She was still afraid?

"Calm down, Williams."

"What do you want from me?"

"I just want to talk, I won't hurt you." he started to come closer.

"Don't come any closer. Tell me, what are you?"

"That's what I want to talk about. Will you listen?"

"I will. But I don't trust you."

"Keep your gun aimed."

"Oh, I will."

"Williams... I really didn't mean to hurt you. But that wasn't me.

"What are you talking about?"

He told her everything. How he can turn into some kind of a creature because of his genes he herited from Kazuya.

"Actually, the night you tried to kill me was the first time I found out about this situation. That was just for one time. But lately it's getting harder to control it. It's getting stronger or something."

Then they stayed silent for a while. She was trying to process it.

~"You can resign if you want."

~"What are we gonna do about this?"

They talked at the same time and when they heard each other, they looked into each other's eyes. What they've told were the least the other expected.

n~I can resign? Why didn't I think about this? It's a lot easier.

j~What are WE gonna do? She wants to help? I thought she would leave immediately.

"Were you aware when that thing took the control or you don't remember anything?"

"I can observe what is happening like in a dream you can feel it's a dream but you can't do anything or wake up."

"What does it want, wants to kill everyone?"

"The terror, fear, chaos..."

"Just like what are we doing to the world right now."

He looked at her like he wants to tell something. But he didn't say anything. They stayed silent for a while.

"You kept saying 'father' and 'Anna' in your sleep." he broke the silence. In a very awkward way.

She remembered now. She was having dreams- No flashbacks. Those were real memories. She looked at him with excitement that she can't hide.

"I remembered."

He was surprised because she was showing emotions and also she remembered her past.

"I remembered my past. Well, not completely but lots of it. I saw my father and his teachings and Anna." She stopped and scowled.

"I didn't see anything about my mother though."

"Well, how was your past life then?" he changed subject.

"It was all me and my father practicing fights, gunshots. I probably didn't have the best childhood." She chuckled.

The awkward silence, again.

This time she broke it.

"You know? Now we're even."

He got confused.

"What do you mean?"

"I once tried to kill you, and now you did. Now we're even. You shouldn't try to kill me again."

He chuckled.

"Right. I'll talk to my inner devil about this."

"How do you control it normally?"

"I just try to calm myself. I couldn't succeeded last time."

"Maybe you can try to find other ways."

He nodded.

Then again, an awkward silence.
