Episode 15: Face-Off

"Throughout the 20 grouling days teens had to go through so much including hot sauce, Brittany, falling stage lights, running, horror movies, heartbreak, being hit with a paddle, cooking, and more but today! Today is where it all ends. Who will be your winner? Will it be Nui, the sweet innocent girl with a boyfriend, or Andrew, the sweet innocent guy with a girlfriend. Find out now, on Total Drama Island!" Chris says before he looks offscreen and whispers offscreen.
"Do we still have that one intro we filmed… we don't, damn that sucks… so how do I fill this awkward void that's going on here. Just… transition to the campers… okay then," Chris says as he looks from off camera to on camera.
"Ok… well we have a very large challenge so let's highlight our two players, here is…. Nui," Says Chris as the screen fades to black. A black and white highlight of Nui appears until the camera changes to static.
Static)
(Open into what appears to be a home library. A teenage girl is found sitting at a desk reading a book. She turns her attention to the camera.)
Niu: Hi, my name is Niu Li Feng. I found an advertisement of your show on my computer and thought it would be a great opportunity to do a little self discovery. As much as I hate to admit it, I don't socialize that much and this competition could be my chance to make a few more friends.
(She spoke in such a professional way that it seemed more like a business meeting than an audition for a reality show. She then pulled out a chart that was filled with a bunch of statistics.)
Niu: I did some research and young people who have competed on some sort of reality tv show aspire to leadership and consider themselves role models. My goal if I am accepted on your show is to be my own person.
(She puts away her chart and faces the camera once again.)
Niu: Thank you for watching and I hope to hear from you soon.
(Static)
A narrator's voice comes in, "While we were doing our final casting for the show, we decided to interview our cast 1 more time… here is Nui's interview," The narrator says before the scene turns into black.
"So… Nui Li Feng is your name correct?" Chris asks.
"That would be correct but I go as Nui," Nui says as she rubs her arm shyly.
"Ok then Nui, what brings you here? I know you found our ad online but what would you do with the money?" Asks Chris curiously.
"I came to find myself, to be honest. Things have been very awkward for me and my life right now… and I guess I just need a rediscovery," Nui says as she looks to the camera.
"Cool… so what's your background, I heard that you come from New York? If you don't mind me asking… how's your home life," Chris asks.
"Well… I just feel like I don't really belong to my family. Neither does my brother but I digress. It just hasn't been the same after my brother… Jun was thrown out. My dad just said to forget about him… but we just can't forget about a human being," Sighs Nui as she looks away awkwardly.
"Ok if you don't mind we have one more question for you… what is your biggest asset?" Asks Chris as he tilts his head.
"Excuse me?" Asks Nui somewhat offended.
"Huh?" Chris asks confused.
"You shouldn't talk about someone's bo- oh wait you mean my strength… ummm I'm good at cooking… like a never burn, anything it's crazy," Nui smiles.
"Wait I'm sorry one more thing," Chris says.
"Do you think you might win?" Asks Chris curiously.
Nui looks up before looking back at him, "No, probably not,"
The screen turns to static once more.
"Wow. That… was definitely Nui… anyways let's see who Andrew is," Chris says as the scene cuts back to black.
Andrew was sitting on his bed while sitting his large computer next to him, it was facing the camera as it showed a busty anime girl with long purple hair. On his wall he had a bunch of anime posters, some had to be censored. Andrew pushed up his spectacles as he started smirking. "hello there Total Drama, I am the one and only Andrew Dewitt. I am the master of anime and Japanese, and I feel me and my beautiful girlfriend would be perfect for competing. say 'hi' honey." the girl on the large computer screen posed while waving.
"isn't she great?" he started to kiss the phone as the camera continued to record him. After awhile it just turned off because the camera died.
"Wait hold it he had a girlfriend… and she's coming… wait Matt's gonna be here right, wait she is. Oh this should be gooooooooood, anyways let's move onto Andrew's interview and brace ourselves as the two girlfriends meet," Chris says excitedly as the screen once again turns to black.
"So your name is Andrew DeWitt did… I say that correctly?" Chris says as he looks towards a sloppy looking Andrew.
"That would be correct, please mind my appearance… I woke up late thanks to Yuri Mihubachi," Andrew chuckles.
"Right… so… umm how's your home life?" Chris asks concerned.
"It's fair. We always lived a normal life… but I didn't exactly wake up until I watched anime for the first time. Honestly… I must admit that I have been a bit lonelier ever since but I have gained a girlfriend," Andrew smiles.
"Oh?" Asks Chris happily.
"Yes her name is Mukuraru! She lives in my computer!" Andrew says gleefully.
"Oh," Says Chris, somewhat depressed.
"Umm so why are you here, what do you need the money for?" Asks Chris as he places his hand on his chin.
"I want to move to Japan! I want to experience typical japan things… like running with toast in your mouth, or riding go karts… or playing Dance Dance Revolver like a pro…" Andrew says determined.
"Nice! So… what do you bring to the competition?" Chris asks mysteriously.
"I bring the hotness...you know I'm the eye candy," Jokes Andrew.
Chris laughs before covering his mouth.
"Ok… final question. Do you think that you'll win?"
"Oh… no," Andrew hesitantly says.
"Ok… that concludes our interviewing segment, thank you!" Chris says happily as he shakes Andrew's hand on camera. The screen turns form static, to black, back to Chris who looks somewhat disappointed.
"Oh yeah… I forgot he dated a computer screen, it's still interesting I believe anyways… we still got our finalists together. Why don't we turn to them before we start the challenge in a minute," Says Chris before the camera goes to Nui and Andrew who are both locked into a mysterious white room. Andrew paces around frantically as Nui sits down quietly.
"Ok… so where are we and how did we get here!?" Asks Andrew angrily.
"For the last time I don't know, but you've been asking that for the entire morning and I am so sick of it!" Yells Nui as she stands up and flails her arms.
"Well excuse me for being concerned… I just need some information now!" Says Andrew as he glares at a blank black Tv. Nui's eyes narrow as she slowly walks towards it. She looks into it and sees nothing. She looks back at Andrew.
"Your probably just being paranoid. Anyways… how does it feel to be here… now, I mean… we've been through so much. I can't believe it's only us… I mean out of everyone… Milly, Vincent, Lance, Travis," Nui says as she shivers at Travis' name, "I mean even Brittany! Out of all of them why us?" Asks Nui as she turns around and looks to Andrew.
"It's easy… we played a simple and easy game. Nobody really hated us… besides Brittany or Jackson. Overall, looking back at it, we were pretty solid choices to be here," Andrew says with his eyes closed.
"I-, wow I never really thought about it like that. Wait, how did you know, that we're quote unquote safe picks? Did you know about everyone?" Asks Nui somewhat scared.
Andrew frowns, "Yeah I really don't know much, I just say it," Andrew says as he shrugs.
"Hmm that sounds a bit suspicious to me, but it's fine. I honestly wish you the best within our final competition," Nui smiles.
"Thank you, I wish you the same," Andrew says with a smile.
"If you don't mind me asking… who was your most painful elimination from here… personally, I just miss Lance. It was so… sudden and shocking to me… I guess I was so blindsided," Nui sighs as she looks away.
"As much as I would love to say that my girlfriend… Matt but I might say Vincent. He was the one who stood by me from that a**hole Lucas. He was there for me and honestly was robbed from getting… anywhere close to merge," Andrew says as he looks away from Nui, tiredly.
"Yeah, honestly I hate Lucas… even more than Brittany somehow… he felt so pointless and when he did have some sort of point, it was always something horrible. Remember what he said about your girlfriend being useless?" Nui asks compassionately.
Andrew looks down sadly, "Yeah, I remember,"
The room turns eerily silent. Nui sits awkwardly against the wall. Andrew looks around as he stands up slightly above Nui. However, their attention is taken after weird noise comes from the Tv.
"What's that?" Asks Andrew startled.
Nui trembles as she stands up and walks mindlessly toward it, "Let me see…" Nui says as she touches the Tv. She rests her arm on the side of the Tv. Suddenly static arises before Chris' face pops on it's small screen. This startles Nui who jumps back.
"Hello campers! You must be wondering where you are and also what your final challenge is, so listen up, I'll only tell you this one time! Your currently in the isolation room, this is underneath the boys cabin. Anyways… for your final challenge… you must collect colored keys placed where each of you had… some sort of memories. Anyways… as you find your keys I hope that you will… have some sweet memories of your experience. Nui, your keys are blue, Andrew, you have red keys. Once you finish collecting your keys meet … your cohost, Claire in the abandoned area of the island. Good luck campers! Oh… and you must move the Tv to find your exit," Chris says before the screen slowly fades to black. It then goes back to static as Nui and Andrew look at each other.
"You heard the guy, we need to get this TV, out of the way… quickly," Nui instructs as she looks around the TV testing its size and weight. Andrew walks up and feels the Tv. He squats and attempts to pick it up. He drops its side which lands hard back on the table that it was occupying.
"Ugh, it's so heavy," Says Andrew somewhat exhausted, "That should be a challenge on it's own," Nui looks over to Andrew and puts her hands on his shoulders which causes Andrew to embarassly blush.
"It may be hard for you to do it on your own, however if we both try to get this… stupid, dumb, idiotic Tv out of the way, then it should… get out of the way," Nui says instructfully, "I see that the Tv is very lengthy for a simple box Tv, however it's very tall. I believe we could pick it up and carry it screen to back. But, I don't really want it to break so I guess we could just set it down cautiously," Nui says as her hand touches the cold screen which gives her a tiny shock of electricity, however she's ultimately fine.
"Are you sure about this?" Asks Andrew cautiously.
"Sure, just… at least try!" Says Nui inspirationally. Andrew follows Nui's command as he feels the screen Together the pair tips it over the Tv and squat before gently resting it on the hard concrete floor. The two approach the door before Andrew swings the door open.
"Hey Nui, one last thing..." Andrew says cheerfully.
"What would that be?" Asks Nui, she lifts up an eyebrow.
"Good luck with the challenge… if I wasn't here, I'd root for you," Andrew says politely with a smile. Nui blushes and also smiles awkwardly before she runs off into the brick road.
"Hmm where would some memorable locations be?" Thinks Nui out loud. She looks around to see that Andrew has already begun searching for his keys. She walks over to the entrance of the light tan stucco building. She stands in front of the arch that begins the journey into the room itself. As she walks past the confessional station she feels the wall. Her hot head takes her upstairs where she can still feel heat. A gang of mosquitos and wasps battle over Nui's head as she approaches her posh front door. She opens it to see the girls cabin in all of its glory. Her fairy lights remain attached to the ceiling. Brittany's purse is spilled on the floor, more over their fuzzy white carpet than their light brown wood tiles. She looks on her bed and sees the first key. However, something was strange about it… it had a portrait of Lance's face on it, with his name underneath.
"Well I guess I found one… but was this actually his key?" Nui questions as she looks up to the black camera spying on the room from the ceiling. She looks back down at it before pocketing Lance's key in Brittany's sassy white purse.
The camera transitions to Andrew who looks up at the boy's cabin ceiling. There dangling on the edge of the roof is a pair of red keys. Andrew's hands feel the metal pole. He begins to clutch the pole and drag himself up it. He pants as he gets closer and closer to the top. He reaches for it and is so close to getting it. However, he unfortunately falls off the building and lands on his back. However, he shrugs it off and gets up. He reaches his hand onto the pole and climbs up once again. He finally reaches the top of the building. He reaches for the red key and picks it up.
"L- Lucas?" Says Andrew confused as he looks at his key. On there is a small picture followed by his name underneath. He looks around trying to find Chris. However, all he can see is Claire nearby a helicopter that's beginning to take off.
The camera goes back to Nui she walks exhaustedly with Lance's key. She wonders into the cafeteria. In the background Andrew walks behind her.
"Come on… something had to have happened here…" Nui says as she opens the door. She looks around and passes by her metal station from the cooking challenge. She scavenges through the station. She looks at the burner, in the oven, and in some random drawers. She sighs as she finds nothing. However, she does notice something on her way out. Stuck on the door is a blue key. Nui walks up to it and takes it off it's tape on the door. She reaches it and looks at who her next partner is. Nui gasps as she sees Brittany's photo.
"Ugh great I need more her in my pocket," Sighs Nui as she shoves the key into Brittany's white purse.
The camera goes back to Andrew. He realizes what he needs. What else would be a special item to him? What else defined his rise through the competition? What else would Chris place? Andrew already knew that it was the remote controller that he would have to hunt for. He casually walks past Chris' black helicopter that has already taken off without Claire and past Nui who walks into the cafeteria. Andrew sighs as his black sneakers click on the brick road. He walks before he stops in front of the Villa. He breathes in and breathes back out as the villa towers over him leaving Andrew intimidated. He takes a step into the archway. He slowly walks up the girls cabin passing mosquitos and wasps. The door is left open and Andrew enters. He awkwardly walks in and stands quietly. However he begins to look around on Nui's bed.
"Come on where are you?" Asks Andrew as he checks behind Nui's pillows frantically. He walks over an examines Brittany's bed. It has a large pillowy white and blue blanket above a small white fuzzy blanket that looks identical to their rug. He dives his hands in and frantically searches for the gray rectangle. He fails to find it so he looks above Brittany's bed onto Milly's former bed. He climbs up the gray wooden ladder to try to locate the remote controller. However, the second he digs his hands into Milly's brown linen sheets he feels something sharp.
"Ah!" He yells as he feels it. He suddenly realizes that he struck gold. He takes his bloody hand through Milly's clean brown sheets. He feels the remote controller and picks it up. As he sees it in light he suddenly begins to lightly cry. He sits down on Milly's bed sadly, his bleeding finger drips onto the light brown wooden floor below. He sighs as he sees the remote controller in his hand. However, he realizes that he is wasting time and decides to rip off the key from the remote. There is the one person he wanted to see. The camera focuses in on Matt's photo followed by Andrew's face. Andrew sighs as he looks up suddenly and hops off of Milly's now blood covered bed.
The camera swiftly turns to Nui once again as she tries to find her last key. She slowly walks around the boys cabin trying to find something… anything. She searches high and low trying to find her final key. There's only one place that she hadn't searched in the dorm area. That would be in the shack where the murder mystery challenge was announced. She walked into the eeiry shack quietly and cautiously. However, when she approaches the desk of Claire, she turns around and sees it. A black, shadow like figure standing behind her.
"Ah! No, I am not going through this again!" Says Nui scared as she slaps the figure.
"Hey, what was that for… all I was trying to do was find the final key," Andrew says as he feels his cheek.
"Oh… it's just you, Andrew. I' sorry, you know my newfound fear of shadowy black figures after a certain challenge we had to go through. Well… umm there are two keys here… for the both of us," Nui says as she cautiously picks up the keys, she dangles Andrew's red one before handing it to him. Nui got Aj, meanwhile Andrew got Vincent. The two of them walked to the abandoned area where the was greeted by Claire and more familiar faces.
"Welcome competitors to the next part of your final challenge," Says Claire as Lance, Brittany, Aj, Matt, Vincent, and Lucas are behind her.
"Matt!" Shouts out Andrew as he runs towards her.
"Wai- Nui! Oh my goodness!" Says Lance as he runs towards Nui. The two couples take a second to embrace.
"Can we kiss?" Whispers Lucas into Brittany's ear.
"In your dreams," Scoffs Brittany.
"In my dreams, indeed," Sighs Lucas back as he looks down at the ground.
"Come in guys, Lance… Matt, you guys need to come back here," Claire instructs as Matt rolls back, while Lance drags himself from Nui.
"Anyways… these guys will be important after this segment, anyways you will have to do some competitor trivia! These will be over the over the eliminated contestants of this game so… let's start. First question, which competitor prides themselves on their love for the color light purple and their horses?" Asks Claire.
Immediately after Claire asks the question Andrew shoots his hand up.
"Can I answer?" Asks Andrew patiently. Claire brings out a small nod, "Is it Mellisa?"
"Yes indeed it is, that's 1-0, Andrew's lead," Says Claire as she looks to the two of them.
"It's first to five by the way… umm next question. Which member of the cast was the second person to see Milly's diary?" Asks Claire quietly.
"I got it," Says Andrew.
"You don't have to s-" Claire says before she's cut off by Andrew.
"It's Jackson," Andrew says plainly.
"2-0, come on Nui, you got this. Anyways… next question. Which member of the cast can't decide if her name's second letter is an a or an i?" Asks Claire oddly calm.
"Easy, it's Nakita. She always gets offended when I say Nikita sometimes but sometimes she refers to herself like that… honestly it's really annoying," Shrugs Nui.
"And Nui's got it! 2-1!" Says Claire, "Ok next which 3 competitors visited the Cannibal experience on their 13th or 14th birthdays? This counts for three points… 1 for each person you get correct," Says Claire as she looks down to the teens standing in front of her.
"Come on Andrew! Rise and beat this!" Vincent yells out to Andrew who nods.
"I believe it would be Luna, Aj, and… Travis?" Answers Andrew questionably.
"2 out of three… umm you guys might not remember this guy," Says Claire blankly.
"Hmmm, Lucas?" Guesses Nui as she shrugs.
"Hey I'm right here!" Shouts Lucas annoyed.
"Sorry… ummm Jackson?" Apologizes Nui.
"Are you sure it's a guy?" Asks Andrew still confused.
"Mhmm," Claire nods.
"Oh… wait is it Gareth?" Asks Andrew cautiously.
"Ding ding ding! It looks like Andrew won this portion of the finale! For this win… he gets the boat house to the right! This gives him a closeness advantage, that means that Nui will get the boat house on the left," Says Claire.
"Boathouse!?" Asks AJ surprised, "I haven't been in a boathouse since they stopped selling endless Crabs at the Blue Crab," Aj jokes.
"Wh- what?" Says Lance as he looks to Aj confused.
"I'm the joke guy, your the guitar guy, just go with it," Says Aj as he narrows his eyes at Lance.
"Oops I forgot to mention your final part of your final challenge. You guys will ride speed boats across the ocean from the island to the beach of the other Florida Key Island, Key West. Luckily for you the water is warm because you might need to go there to… repair a few things about the boat. Anyways you'll have to run to get there, so as I said, Team Andrew aka Andrew, Matt, Lucas, and VIncent will go to the path to the right. Meanwhile… Team Nui aka Nui, Lance, Brittany, and Aj. When get to the stage, go to the left, good luck campers, you may go now," Claire says as the campers take off.
The camera follows behind team Andrew. Andrew jogs to the right as Lucas, and Vincent run off into the wilderness. Matt rolls her wheelchair through the mud. She goes about the same pace of Andrew's jogging. Andrew eventually catches up to her.
"Hey Matt," Andrew says as he continues his jog, "What's up and have you seen the others?" Asks Andrew.
"Oh… hey Andrew, they ran off. It sucks having to pull myself through the mud but you know how it is," Matt says somewhat depressed.
"Yeah… I can't believe that you made the finale, I'm so proud of you!" Continues Matt as her mood changes quickly.
"Thanks… it feels so weird being here… I didn't expect to be here," Says Andrew as he looks down to the mud.
"Don't say that… we got this! You got this! This is your big shot, don't blow it and don't stress out about it," Matt says cheerfully.
"Wow… thanks Matt. It's very nice how supportive you are of me, I- I don't know… I still just feel like someone else should be where I am," Says Andrew insecurely.
"No! No one does… no one worked as hard as you have," Says Matt supportively.
Andrew nods, "Ok then… now… let's find the rest of our team!" Andrew says happily.
He jogs and rolls Matt through the muddy road onto patches of grass. Matt smiles as the terrain gets easier to roll on.
"Let's get this done," Says Andrew as he pumps his fist in the air for the camera transitions to Team Nui. All for of the teens walks. They are currently walking in front of large green oak trees.
"Come on guys I sense that we're getting close!" Nui says as she leads her team ono the bridge. Nui looks down remembering what happened here. She however picks herself up and continues walking. The other campers pass until Brittany falls face down onto a muddle directly in front of the bridge. This causes all 3 of the other team members to laugh at the mud covered Brittany.
"Oh my goodness! Not on my new jeans!" Says Brittany as she looks at her now mixed blue and brown colored jeans.
"Oh relax, I've seen more mud on Christine Agola's face," Jokes Aj. Nui lets out a slight giggle as Lance rolls his eyes. Brittany shakes herself off and gets up.
"This is disgusting! Nui, Aj, you're lucky that thanks to my contract I'm not allowed to physically anyone!" Scoffs Brittany.
"Mhmm it would be a place to do so," Say Lance as he turns around and faces the bridge.
"Yeah, Lance is right… plus we're suppose to be working as a team, so come on guys let's get this done," Nui says as she points onwards.
The camera switches to the boathouse. Lucas and Vincent arrived early and are now talking to each other.
"You know what I never understood, why were you so… loyal to Brittany. Like, you were so loyal to her that you actually came off as a bit of a douchebag, I mean what's up with that?" Asks Vincent his hair blows against the ocean wind.
"Look, I'm not here to start drama or to be loyal… honestly, I just get really attached to people," Lucas says as he looks out onto the blue ocean.
"But, why Brittany, I'm pretty sure that she was like… the most hated on our team before you," Vincent says as e looks over to Lucas who lays his hand on the speedboat.
"I stood by Brittany because I knew…" Lucas says as his voice trails off.
"Knew what! What did you know?" Vincent says almost beginning to yell.
"I knew that.. She cheated… on all of it, every single thing… besides that one challenge, I thought that she would see me as an extra vote and… take me here. That's when I was going to surprise her… with how good I actually am," Lucas sighs.
"Sh- wh- wow," Vincent says as he leans on the boat.
"But, why didn't you expose her… you could have been… I don't know the hero of the season or something," Shrugs Vincent.
"I wanted to… it was tempting but my plan depended on her," Lucas says as he looks down in disappointment.
Vincent frowns before walking over to the other side of the boat. Lucas looks up before Vincent pats him on the back.
"D*** that must suck for you… I mean… like I was watching… you… basically destroy your track record and stuff like that live on air," Vincent says contempt.
"Well… I never exactly thought about it like that…" Says Lucas as he looks back. Suddenly Matt and Andrew burst through the door in enthusiastic fashion.
"Look, it's the man of the hour," Says Vincent as he walks over to the door and pats Andrew on the back. Motor sounds from another motorboat can be heard in the background.
"Come on people, we need to get moving. It looks like Nui already has a head start… although they had the longer path… AKA, come on people, let's get moving," Says Andrew as he motions to the boat. Vincent gets into the front passenger seat to the left of the drivers seat. Meanwhile, Lucas goes into the back left seat. Andrew gets into the drivers seat before he looks to Matt who sits in her wheelchair on the side of the boat.
"Oh goodness, we need a ramp… I think I got it," Andrew says as he gets out of the boat. Matt sits patiently in her wheelchair. Andrew finds a small brown wooden ramp and gets it out for his girlfriend.
"Is this alright for you?" Asks Andrew as he presents the ramp the leads into the side door of the white speedboat that had remarkably red and orange painted fire.
"Yeah… looks good," Matt says as she begins to roll onto the ship. She lands onto the back right seat.
"Ready to go," Says Matt as she looks up to Andrew.
"Yeah, let's win this!" Says Vincent as he pumps his fists in the air as the boat comes out.
The camera switches to Team Nui. Nui drives her own white speedboat with painted flames, meanwhile Lance sits next to her. Behind them are Brittany who sits obnoxiously with her hands crossed and Aj who sits in his seat, looking out to the luscious crystal clear blue water.
"Come on guys we're doing super good, now let's get this win… for Nui," Says Aj.
"For Nui," Scoffs Brittany.
"Yeah for the sweetest girlfriend in the world… for Nui," Lance says as he looks relaxed. His bass sits underneath him secured.
"Aww thanks guys… it really means a lot to me that I'm here and that you guys are here with me even if you don't feel the same way," Says Nui as she casually glares to Brittany. However her attention is back after she notices Andrew's boat limping out of his boathouse on the horizon.
"Come on! They're already out. We need to get this thing in overdrive," Advices Lance as he looks over to Nui.
Suddenly, Nui gives him a small kiss on the cheek and says, "I'll worry about the driving honey, you should just sit back and relax," Lance is somewhat taken aback before smiling casually.
"Ok, sure," Says Lance as he lays back in his seat and puts his hands behind his head casually.
"Thanks," Smiles Nui before a beeping noise goes off.
"What was that?" Asks Lance who's casually appearance and attitude has now shifted to a panicked person.
"Something that almost made me s*** my pants," Aj jokes frantically.
"We're all gonna die," Shouts Lance.
"No! I'm too pretty to die!" Shouts Brittany arrogantly.
"First, I wouldn't flatter yourself Brittany, second, you guys need to relax… it's just that we're out of gas, umm I think it should be back there," Nui says as she looks behind her seat and sees a red gas container.
"See there it is," Nui says as she points to the gas container.
"Okay, umm well someone must have not have listened… because we can't like… do anything, all we're supposed to do is not leave… or fight… or eat for some reason," Brittany says snobbily as she looks sassily at Nui who sighs.
"Ok then," Nui says as she gets out of her seat, stands up and gets the gas container in her hand. She looks down at the water as she realizes that she'll need to get out of the boat in order to fill up the boat. She looks to her team.
"Do you think I sh-" Nui says before Aj shakes his head.
"Don't nobody want to see any if that," Aj says as Lance glances at him, Brittany laughs, and Nui frowns. Nui rolls her eyes before climbing down into the water with her bucket of gasoline. She carefully tips the canister into the gas opening. She wades around in the water as her team sits in the boat waiting for her to finish, which she quickly does.
"Ok, let's go," Nui says as she climbs out of the water. She extremely wet but sits down and puts her foot on the pedal before the camera transitions back to Team Andrew. They master the ocean on their boat.
"So… what are going to do with the money?" Asks Matt from the backseat.
"Easy, I'm taking you to Japan," Andrew responds with a smile.
"Aww that's so sweet of you," Says Matt sincerely.
"Hmm so… Lucas what are you going to do with the rest of your summer… you know once this finishes," Vincent asks as he turns around.
"W-" Lucas begins to say before Vincent interrupts.
"Oh goodness, I think I see them… and they have… hmm stopped," Vincent says as his narrows his eyes over the ocean.
"Good, I hope they're doing okay but we're really close to winning this," Andrew says before their boat comes to a sudden stop. This yanks all 4 of the teens who nearly fall out of their seats.
"What was that?" Asks Vincent who reshapes his hair.
"I don't know… hmm, oh crap," Andrew says frantically.
"What is it?" Matt asks scared.
"Come on, tell us Andrew, I really don't feel like dying right now," Vincent says as he hugs himself tightly.
"It says that one cord on the side of the boat needs to plugged back in," Andrew says as he looks near the fuel indicator.
"Well do it quickly, they're coming close," Says Lucas who is looking behind them. This promptly causes Andrew to quickly jump into the water. He takes the plug from near the boat door and plugs it in on the back of the boat. He swims back onto the boat right as Nui's ship gets on his bumper.
"WooHoo! Let's win this!" Nui says as she passes them by. Surprisingly Andrew's boat fights back and is directly right next to her.
"Your going down!" Shouts Andrew as he looks over to Nui. Brittany and Lucas both sit somewhat innocently in the backseat.
"Lucas! Why don't you stop them!" Brittany yells from the back of boat. Lucas looks at her blankly. Vincent taps his shoulder.
"Don't let her stop this guy from winning fair and square," Vincent says.
"He's right! I'm tired of being your ragdoll, you want to win? Put in your own work," Yells Lucas. Causing Brittany and Aj to gasp.
"D*** my man finally did it," Aj says from the other boat.
"Will you shut up?" Yells Brittany before she crosses her arms in arrogance.
The two of Nui and Andrew bump boats as the island filled with interns, families, and eliminated contestants comes closer.
"I'm winning this!" Shouts Andrew.
"Yeah yeah," Nui says as she smiles.
The beach gets closer. The boats go faster. The passengers in the boats are considering writing their will.
As they get .5 miles away from the island Andrew's boat hits a massive rock causing the white boat to fly in the air. The camera shot goes into slow mode as Nui's boat speeds on the water. She looks up slowly and sees Andrew's boat in the air. Matt, Vincent, and Lucas are holding onto their seats. Chris who is holding a small golden trophy begins to run away followed by the fellow contestants. The scene goes back to a normal speed as Andrew's boat lands hard on the white crystal beach right as Nui's boat comes to a halt the second it touches the crystal white Key West beach. Andrew crawls out of his boat followed by the other members of team Andrew. Nui hops out of her boat followed by Brittany, Lance, and Aj who all get out. All 8 of the teenagers seemed mixed between traumatized, scared, excited, and confuse. The eliminated contestants, families, and staff crowd behind Chris as Nui and Andrew walk up to him.
"So… who won?" Nui asks quietly.
"The winner of Total Drama Island is…
Nui," Chris says. Immediately afterwards there is an eruption of cheers. Nui gasps before clutching her hands in the air.
"Yes!" Nui says happily. Andrew smiles and pats her on the back.
"You deserved it," Andrew says cheerfully.
"Th-" Nui says before she cut off thanks to a hug by Lance.
"You did it babe! You actually did it," Says Lance as he hugs Nui tightly
Chris hands the trophy and a mysterious gray suitcase to Nui, "Congrats dude," Chris says as he pats a proud Nui in the back.
"I did it… I actually did it," Nui repeats she seems to be in a daze.
Andrew stands happily clapping on the side line.
The camera follows Aj as he stumbles towards Luna, who is lounging on a beach chair. She wore a fancy white jumpsuit with black heels. Her hair was laid back into a small ponytail which had fallen between the separate sections of the beach chair.
"Hey baby, how was the water… the challenge… was it fun?" Asks Luna who lounges. She taps the chair signaling Aj to sit down, which he does.
"It was pretty cool… well besides Lance being kinda irritating but everyone isn't that perfect, mhmm tell that to my aunt Sherl-" Aj says as he begins to sit down. However he gets interrupted by Luna.
"Mhmm that's cool… so hot. Anyways, I must ask… how's your dad… I mean you said that you made up with him a few weeks ago but I mean I haven't heard you mention him since, are you sure that everything's fine?" Luna asks, she tips her sunglasses and looks at him with "puppy eyes".
"Yeah… I'm sure… actually, I invited him to come to my JBO standup special… and also, I know I've been a little quiet about my standup stuff…" Aj says as Luna puts her sunglasses back on.
"Go on," Luna says in anticipation.
"Well… I've be selected to have my own XYZ sitcom!" Aj announces. The second he says that Luna gains a red smile.
"Wow, really? That's great...I also have some news and something that I wanted to ask you," Luna says as she turns her head to Aj.
"Do tell?" Says Aj cooly.
"My debut album, Lunatic went platinum, we now have more money than we would have won at this stupid reality show, I'm planning for my next album, and I was wondering if you wanted to come on tour with me," Luna smiles warmly as she takes her glasses off, places it on the entrance of her shirt and looks at Aj excitedly.
"Me… on tour with you?" Aj says excitedly, "Of course I'd go babe!" The two hug as it is revealed that he was watching their whole conversation. He sighs before walking away.
The camera cuts to a gray prison cafeteria. Jackson watches from a small TV across from him and 3 other male inmates all wearing oversized orange jumpsuits. They cheer as the trophy is given to a smiling Nui. Jackson slowly claps.
"All I wanted to do wa-" Jackson says before he's cut off by a bald inmate on his left.
"All you wanted to do was make sure that everyone was as loved as you are," Says the inmate annoyed as rolls his eyes, "That's what you've been saying since you got in here,"
Jackson glares at him then to the Tv, "I'll get her… one day, I'll strike again… and her… that Nui girl who helped Andrew get into my f******* brain, my stupid f******** brain will finally have her own Travis moment. You can count on me,"
"Good luck with that," A male inmate on his right who has a small brown buzz cut, "My brother… Brad, is a huge fan of the show… he knows everything about each member of the show… I bet he'll be disappointed. Besides Milly, Andrew was always his favorite character," Nods the inmate as he gazes back to the TV. Jackson huffs as the camera goes back to the to Isle de Chris. The campers has somehow arrived, probably in the just shut off helicopter.
The camera goes to the girls cabin one more time. Nui and Lance make out passionately on the bed.
"You did good today," Lance says into Nui's ear.
"Thanks… I wish this summer could last forever," Nui responds as she goes back to kissing him on the lips. However the two of them are startled when they here the door squeak open. They turn their heads to Brittany, Nakita, and Matt roll into the dorm room. Nui gasps.
"This isn-" Nui says before she's interrupted by Brittany.
"You and Rockerboy huh?" Brittany smirks, not snobbily. Nui and Lance look at each other remembering the first night when they were doing the same exact thing.
"Yeah," Nui smiles and nods before giving Lance a wet kiss on the cheek. Lance blushes.
"Ok then… anyways.. I'm just going to get my stuff. Don't mind me, I won't mind you," Brittany says as she holds her hands up and walks over exaggerated around Nui and Lance. Matt sighs and rolls out of the door. Nakita taps her left foot as she waits for Brittany to get sone packing up. In the background Milly walks in, sees her blood covered sheets and walks offscreen.
Milly sighs as she walks down the cabin ramp. She looks away to the confessional booth where Joe the cameraman is putting away a gray video camera. However, she's startled when she bumps into a large guy. She knows that she hasn't competed against him.
"W- who are you?" Milly asks as she looks up at the man.
"Sorry… this must be very awkward for you, I'm Travis' father, Michael," Michael says as he takes out his hand. Milly looks back up at him and shake it.
"Oh, yeah he was a very… nice person, I'm sorry for your loss," Milly says comfortingly.
"Yeah… he was a very nice and caring individual. You must be Milly; he use to talk about you all the time. I thought that things were getting better for him… it's all my fault," Michael says disappointed, he folds his head down in disappointment. Milly attempts to pat his back in sympathy.
"Don't say that… you have nothing to do with his death," Comforts Milly.
"No I had everything to do with it… after I left, he got into mystery and stuff. Always had to find the truth behind something. All because of me. I heard he signed onto this show just to get over my absence… that happened so many years ago. It's my fault. It's all my fault," Michael says as he begins to cry. Milly feels slightly uncomfortable yet sympathetic. Milly sighs.
"Well… I know it must be hard for you, Travis was the sweetest and cutest person," Lies Milly. She smiles at Michael who smiles back.
"He would have been very proud to hear your words," Nods Michael as he turns to walk away. Milly is stuck there awkwardly as she watches him walk off. She soon feels something brushing against her leg. She looks down to see it's just Mimi.
"Oh, hey Mimi, how's it going?" Asks Milly, cheerfully.
"Hey Miller," Mimi jokes.
"Milly," Corrects Mimi.
"Mhmm, but I'm doing super good, I'm so happy for Nui, she deserved to win," Mimi smiles.
"That's cool… so what are you doing for the rest of your summer… just asking for a friend," Milly winks at Mimi who appears somewhat confused before smiling.
"Oh… yeah, I'm traveling to Mexico in like… 3 weeks, I do have a few guest spot open… if you want to come," Mimi says.
"Oh! Would you mind if I bring my sister Maggie… she needs some time to interact with… regular people, not those weird psychopathic scientists… although I also think that they can by very appealing, and I came here to get my information on the common teenage brain… but I digress," Milly says as Mimi looks up mysteriously at the bloating Milly.
"Ok then, umm sure, she can come," Mimi says before she runs off. Milly stands and looks toward the camera.
Nui Confessional
Andrew stands in front of the camera one last time, in the background a few other cameras and the large, fancy green couch are getting hauled away.
"This has been… torture… at least I was able to come out victorius, and I guess… I know Nui… Nui is a kind girl who doesn't let her guard down. Nui is a girl who stands her boundaries and will always come out victorious. Nobody knows Nui like I know Nui… because I am Nui," Nui says as she holds up her trophy. Light clapping can be heard in the background.
"Thank you, thank you all!" Nui says as the camera cuts to black.
