Arc 3 Chapter 10: A lead

"Don't be like that, Izuku, come give me a hug." the mysterious heroine told him coming closer.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry but i have a girlfriend and you sound too old to be even hitting on me." Izuku tells her, taking a few steps back, while all might face palms at his son's actions.

"Serious, you ain't gonna give me a hug?" the heroine asked. "Im sure your little girl friend wouldn't mind."

"I seriously doubt that, ma'am." Izuku said. "And i'd like to see your license please, I don't think i have seen you before."

"Oh, sure. I can do that for you, little hero~" the heroine told as she used her quirk to push the id card towards Izuku.

Just as Izuku streched his hand to grab it, the id curved and fell into all mights hand.

"Lets see, her hero name is Mono-Pole, the magnetic heroine, and she's a Japanese pro that has come out of retirement apparently." All Might said, reading off of the Id card.

"Hmmmmmm. Mono-Pole. Thats a cool name." Izuku said, as he raked his brain for any and all mentions of this hero.

"I'm glad you liked it Izuku." the heroine said, "but i think it's time to go home, isn't it, Toshi." she said, her voice becoming more and more apparent to Izuku.

"Wait a minute!" Izuku shouted.

One Minute Later.

"Well, one minute's up, what did we have to wait for?" Mono-Pole asked.

"You didn't have to, one of the authors was being an idiot. But, going on a wild guess, why are you wearing a hero suit mom." Izuku asked the heroine.

"For someone who is so smart, you're pretty dense, Izuku. But that is evident from the fact that you didn't know Ochako liked you." Mono-Pole said, as she finally walked out of the dust that was rising from the truck. (plot armoured, ever-lasting dust)

"Seriously son, you need to learn to keep an open mind while you fight, if you would have noticed some of the signs along the way. I told you your mom and i had something important for you, then a new heroine shows up wearing green just like you and she asks you for a hug in Japanese. If we were in japan i would have understood your inhibitions, but we are in America son, it's difficult to find someone with such clean Japanese that easily." All Might told him. (ps:- idk if that is true lets assume its true in this AU because japan is the center for the MHA world.)

"Wait a minute…... "

One More Minute Later

"Mom, you're a….."

"That's right," Inko said, "I've been a pro hero for quite a while, well not really, but I had my license. I never did much hero work as I left that to your father."

"It all makes sense now," Izuku said.

"Ahem," Gentle said, "Are we done with the 4th wall breaking and the big reveals? I believe we had a fight going on here."

"Hold up for a sec." All Might said.

"Yeah, what happened?" Izuku asked his dad, "can it wait till after the fight?"

"Thats not fair, how was it that you got the authors to time skip by a minute and i wasnt able to do that!" All Might said, shouting like a kid.

"That's cuz you asked for a second and one second doesn't really make much of a difference." Izuku explained.

"Ahhhh, makes sense." All Might remarked. "I sometimes wonder if Gran Torino is right about me being a thick head. Hehe."

"Dad. Villain. Fight." Izuku shouted.

"Yeah, yeah. I have over 30 years of experience in the field kid, you don't need to tell me." All Might said, flexing to intimidate Gentle. "Why don't you sit back and watch us in action."

Izuku channeled up Full Cowling once again, ready to face his opponent.

"Nah, dad. Why don't you sit back, you're retired anyways." Izuku retorted, "Well not retired but only part time and…"

"Both of you shut up." Inko scolded.

"Finally someone with brains in all this brawn. Can we fight already, I got a job to complete and a video to upload for my loyal Gentle-people." Gentle told the three.

"If you want a fight, you've got one." Izuku responded, backed up by Inko and All Might.

"Show him who's boss Mama Midoriya!" Ochako said.

"I better hear a grandma Midoriya once again." Inko shouted back, making Izuku and Ochako blush.

"Not the time mom," Izuku told the pro heroine, as he focused on gentle. His eyes glowing a bright neon green.

Izuku's mind scape

Izuku opens his eye to see ALl Might going in for a punch only for the punch to be stopped by a wall of air and reflected onto his mother who accidentally uses her quirk on him sending him flying towards the civilians.

"Dad, when you go in for a punch, change directions at the last moment. A 70 degree angle to be specific. Mom, hold the villain's arms down, that is how he activates his quirk." Izuku ordered the two pros.

"Look at how the tables have turned, eh, Inko?" ALl Might asked his wife, looking at his wife as their son gave them orders.

"He's grown a lot, but we can talk about that later. Also 70 degrees is…."

"One more than a 69, i know." Toshi said, with a sly smirk, before dashing off towards the villain.

""Honey! Not in front of the KIDDSSSSS!" Inko shouted.

"Mom! Focus, we have a villain to catch. And we aren't kids!" Izuku shot back.

"Did something happen while i was forgotten from the chapters. Because i feel it did. Izuku you and i are goigng to talk after this. And i mean serious talk. With ochako." Inko told the boy, as she kept the villain still with her quirk. "Also, what ever you are going to do, do it fast, i feel a nosebleed coming soon."

"Got it." Izuku said, as he used black whip to grab Gentle and pull him into all might's punch. The same one that was supposed to hit Inko after being rebounded..

"And Knock Out!" Kenshi shouted from the sidelines, as the crowd cheered for the small family.

"Hey, Ochako, get up there, you deserve a spot there as well. You are the one he chose, aren't you." Momo whispered into Ochako's ears, making her blush.

As the small family was pestered by the media, Inko was being asked questions about her career as a hero, and other similar questions, while All Might was being asked about his return as a hero.

Izuku, realizing that he was practically being ignored by the paparazzi took this chance to try and get away from the media and rejoin with his friends. And he was successful to a certain extent.

He had just reached his friends, one of the reporters caught up to him.

"Mr. Deku, could you please spare some time and answer some of your questions?" the man asked Izuku.

"Sure, I'm not in a hurry right now since mom and dad are busy with their own interviews over there." Izuku replied, pointing over to a larger crowd.

"Alright, first off, we'd like to congratulate you on catching the villain and stopping that run away armored truck." The man told him. "We have a rather simple question for you, based on some of the conversation we sort of were able to catch, we kind of understood that we weren't aware that your mother was a pro hero. Am i right?"

"Yeah, mom and dad wanted that to be a surprise from what I gathered but I guess this is good too." Izuku replied.

"Alright, so how do you feel being part of a family of famous pros?" He asked.

"Well, to be honest, its nice but also worrying because you never know what sort of villain you might face. And this only makes the shoes that i will have to fill much bigger, but I'll do that to the best of my abilities." Izuku answered.

"I think that will be all, thank you for your time. And enjoy your remaining time in Detroit." The reporter said, before leaving.

Izuku went back to All Might and Inko who smiled at their son. Ochako went up to him and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"Amazing as always Deku-kun!" she said.

They headed back to the hotel where they were greeted by their friends. Eri was playing patty cake with Mina, and saw Izuku and Ochako walking into the main room. She instantly ran up to them.

"Mommy, Daddy!" she said as she jumped into Izuku's arms and he scooped her up.

"Hi sweetie," Ochako said, "What brings you by?"

"Granny Inko and Grandpa Might asked if I wanted to come and visit you!" Eri said, "Plus we get to see how Grandpa grew up to be a hero."

"Is that right?" Ochako asked.

"Why yes it is," Toshinori said with a smile.

Meanwhile in another room, Izuku was facing his worst fears with Inko.

"Ok, it's just you and me," Inko said with a smile, "Just lay it out. What happened between you and Ochako?"

"N-n-no-nothing!" Izuku responded, turning red like a tomato.

"Izuku, who am i?" Inko asked him.

"Do you have memory loss or something, should i get a doctor?" Izuku tried to joke.

"Not the time Izuku." Inko scolded him. "Now will you tell me what happened?"

Izuku remained quiet for a whole minute before finally building up the courage to tell her what happened.

"Ochako and I…. did the thing," Izuku admitted.

Inko smirked.

"I knew something like this would happen," Inko said, "But you two were at least safe were you?"

"Yes," Izuku said, "I even used the condom Uncle Maruki gave me."

Inko sighed in relief. She knew her son and Ochako loved each other but she never thought they would go this far in the relationship.

"See that wasn't so hard," Inko told him, "But I do have one condition for you, young man. Don't make anymore grand-babies at least until after graduation. Eri is enough."

"Yes ma'am," Izuku said.

"Now let's go," Inko said, "I think your father plans to show you something while we're in Detroit."

Later on, Izuku, Ochako and Eri were following All Might and Inko.

"So where exactly are we going dad?" Izuku asked.

"Well we're gonna be visiting some old places where your mom and I lived while on our honeymoon," Toshinori admitted, "We got married right after we graduated U.A."

"Ooh," Eri said.

Meanwhile back at the hotel, Kaminari was getting some things for him and Jiro. He overheard somebody talking. He then went to the room.

"Yes, the next destination is right there," she said, "I'll send you coordinates."

Kaminari was secretly recording the conversation quietly.

"The next cargo should be arriving to Washington D.C in 2 days," Morgan said, "Once it's close I'll tell you."

Once he had enough evidence, Kaminari stopped recording. He secretly left the room and approached Jiro's room, where the rest of the Baku-squad, save for Camie and Katsuki were.

"Dude, there you are," she said.

"Morgan isn't who she says she is," Kaminari said, "She's secretly working for a villain. You know all those attacks happening around America?"

Jiro nodded.

"They're all linked!" he said, "And I got proof."

"What do you mean, Kaminari." Mina asked the blonde boy.

"So i noticed this during the second attack and then in the third one as well, but Morgan was there at the site of all the attack, reporting the event. It was almost like she knew that the attack was going to happen." He explained.

"Don't be paranoid, she just happened to be there and was doing her job, Kaminari, she is a reporter after all." Kirishima told him.

"No, you don't understand Kirishima, it wasn't her, it was one of her clones, you know with those numbers and all on their forehead." Kaminari explained. "One thing about having ADHD is that I notice small things due to adrenaline surge in the body, usually it's annoying but when I fight it's how I sort of am able to survive."

"That still doesn't explain why you think that attacks are connected." Jiro told him.

"You see, when Morgan explained her quirk, she said that each clone needed a very specific job for them to be created so their presence in the area where the attacks took place would either mean that she knew that the attack was going to happen or that it was a pure coincidence. I would let it pass as a coincidence if it was something I saw once, but this happened 3 times. I saw Morgan in the second and third attacks and the CCTV clippings from the first one also showed her clone in the area, reporting the attack. Once or twice can be a simple coincidence of someone being at the right place at the right time but three times is not a coincidence." Kaminari told them.

"Wait….. How did you get access to the CCTV footage from the first attack.?" Kirishima asked the boy.

"Well….." Kamniari trailed off.

"Don't tell me you snuck in and saw them!" Jiro shouted at him.

"N-no, I didn't do anything like that." Kaminari explained.

"He's telling the truth." a mysterious voice responded from the background.

The group, save for Kaminari got into a fighting stance, getting ready to fight whoever was in front of them.

"Calm down guys, they're friends." Kaminari told them. "So did you confirm it or at least get some sort of connection between Morgan and the group responsible for the attacks?"

"Not yet, Kaminari, but Yui's working on it." a man said.

"Oh and I got this recording of Morgan on a call with someone, I'm not sure who it was but from what i heard, it sounded like someone from the gang." Kaminari said, tossing the man a small device. "See if this Yui person can locate the person thats on the other side."

"Will do, but the best we can do is get the basic information of the person that was used to get the number, if it was a burner then there's nothing more we can do." The woman explained.

"Who are you guys?" MIna asked the 2 figures in front of them.

"I guess introductions are a bit necessary." The girl said, walking in front of the man, "We were asked to investigate these mysterious attacks and thefts of support items. We noticed that Kaminari was suspicious as well so we asked him to help us out."

"Um….. that still doesn't tell us who you are," Kirishima said.

"Well we're pros, if you're still suspicious, here's our License. We're also friends of Kenshi's from one of the games he plays. And allies of Shouta Aizawa," the girl said, handing Kirishima the licenses, "Plus we were asked by Kenshi to be a part of this.

"You have to be kidding me!" Kirishima shouted.

"Oh hey guys," Kenshi said walking in before seeing the guests arrive, "Kirito and Asuna, what a surprise!"

"Hey, there Kenshi, it's been a while." Kirito greeted him. "Hows your new life?"

"Its been great." Kenshi said, wrapping his arm around Momo. "I have Momo and my friends and my mom with me and they support me. I don't have much more to ask."

"I really need to read the last few chapters so I can understand how the hell you know each other," Mina said, "Maybe I'll pay a visit to the author."

"Break the 4th wall another day," Kenshi said, "Kaminari if what you're saying is true, then that's where we're going next. I already let dad know about… er….. Mr. Aizawa…. Know about what's going on."

"Then where's our next step?" Jiro asked.

"Washington," Kenshi said.
