This was based on a 101 dalmations rp that died on feralfront. I played the villian and a pup named Trojan.

The autumn air was brisk and chilly, leaves littering the ground as the heir of De Vil Manor or Hell Hall watched the wind blow the leaves across the earth outside the manor. Dressed in fine clothes of silk, his fedora pulled low over his eyes, Yulis De Vil, grandson of Cruella, heaved a sigh as he looked back down at the book in his hands before setting it aside in place of picking up the cup of hot tea he was drinking in an attempt to keep warm on this bitter day. The sound of rustling leaves and paws, of claws clicking up the porch steps caused him to remove one hand from the hot mug in his hands as he sipped at the tea to rest upon Gunny's head. The former police dog had a good life after being rescued by Yulis and he needed a good guard dog for not only his backyard illegal zoo but to control the animals he kept until they were killed and skinned, until their furs were sold on the black market though sometimes he would sell live creatures as well if the need arose for them. He had saved the creature though from a certain death...whether by bullet or being put to sleep in a pound...and in turn the dog served him faithfully as not only companion but as protector of both himself and his interests, legal and illegal as they were.

Yulis wasn't a big fan of fashion like his grandmother and even his father, god rest his soul, but he knew how lucrative furs were and how much money he could get for fine quality coats, capes, even rugs and blankets. Quite a few people would pay for real fur, not the faux fur that was often sold with human rights groups trespassing on the fur trade. If he got furs illegally and made a profit on the side, then who was to know? Despite the successful trade and empire he had built from the ground up after it had gone defunct with his grandmother's arrest, Yulis only knew that he wanted revenge for his grandmother's imprisonment and subsequent betrayal of her idiot buffoons who had turned on her to escape their own prison sentence. That meant finding out about the puppies who were likely dogs now that his grandmother had either purchased or stolen from her old school mate but this was a hard task even for Yulis.

Since inheriting the manor from his grandmother, his parents having passed on within childhood, Yulis had added to the estate. A large section of backyard served as an illegal zoo...the layout being tropical birds, zebras and monkeys in one area with a path heading between two rows of cages that would contain wolves though at the moment he only had two wolves within the cages. The cages themselves were spacious enough for the creatures to live within yet this was part of Gunny's job, patrolling the zoo and taking down any potential escape attempts from the animals or those pathetic human rights' groups that might decide to attempt to free the animals...they often disappeared should they show up. Should there be a demand for...exotic pets...he would sell any wolf pups that were brought about by breeding the wolves' within the wolf enclosure of the illegal zoo he owned. The zoo, selling fur clothing, the occasional sale of live animals was a lucrative business for Yulis and he was glad that he'd inherited good business sense from his father who had been teaching him such things before his death. As it was, he was getting a shipment of seal furs brought in though he didn't order much of those. They, unlike some of the other animals he could use for selling furs, were near extinct so by ordering a few seal furs throughout the year, he could increase his prices on such a rare commodity.

One of the things that Yulis had added to the estate was his own private study, the entrance hidden behind a bookcase. It allowed him to go over documents and such that he'd rather authorities not see in private or just be a place to think. The house also had a few secret passages built into it, it had been a bit costly outfit the home but the people who had built the passages and uncovered the ones that had been there before when the De Vil Manor had been built long before he or even his father were born had been paid well for their silence. One such passage was really an escape tunnel for Yulis and Gunny, leading underneath the grounds for two miles to exit out into the hills of the countryside. One hand lightly scratched Gunny between his ears as Yulis stared over his mug of tea at the driveway. Once his seal furs came, he would send Gunny as an escort to have the shipment deposited in the lounge. Really, his grandmother should have tried for being respectful towards her minions and gave away a few hundred pounds for silence and loyalty.

Suddenly, Gunny perked his ears, hearing an engine rumble and tires roll down the smooth pathway that led up to the manor. His fur raised up slightly and a growl rumbled in his throat before he let out two warning barks at the approaching vehicle. He was tensed, ready to spring forward at the intruder, but didn't move until his Master said so. He hated it when Gunny did that. So, the Shepard remained still as the car parked in front of the manor. A short, balding man appeared from the silver car, waddling over to the steps. He was dress in a brown suit with a striped shirt underneath, his belly hanging slightly over his belt. He had beady brown eyes, ones that rest nervously on Gunny at the moment before flickering up to Yulis. His name was Joseph Rogers; one of many Yulis partners. Well, Rogers would say partner. Yulis would probably see him as a minion or henchman.

"Mornin' Yulis," the man spoke, nodding his greeting, "I have some news that might interest you. Started to track down those records you wanted on those famous spotted pups. Most of those dogs were spayed or neutered when adopted...I guess some kind of regulation thing. I don't know, anyways, one of them...I think her name was registered as Oddball? She came from the original litter your grandmother owned and she had a litter of her own."

Rogers was careful to say owned. Yulis was sensitive to the topic and felt more than once that those puppies were rightfully his grandmother's. "Most of that litter was spayed and neutered as well. However, one puppy was sent across the States...to some small farm in Northern Virginia. That pup is all grown up now...and has a litter of his own. Six puppies to be exact. According to the loving family's pictures...it's quite the litter."

The sound of Gunny's two short barks caused Yulis to raise his eyes over his cup, his free hand clenched tightly around the mug's handle as he thought over his business. He needed to invest in some different animals for the zoo but that meant getting more cages built, he could easily snare a fox and place that within a cage as well...perhaps a red fox or two, maybe a cub and just cage it in its own area in front of the wolves. He lifted his gaze as a car pulled into the long driveway and up to the house before stopping, one of his minions getting out of the car and coming towards him. Setting the mug down on the table, his hand stopped scratching Gunny's head as he leaned forward in his chair as Rogers came up to him with a greeting before getting right down to why he was here, something Yulis appreciated from the man. He was also careful to say what Yulis wanted to hear for his own life to remain alive and not lying somewhere within the grounds of Hell Hall.

Yulis didn't show it but he was surprised at the conversation that followed, thoughtful and intrigued from the moment Rogers said that he had found information on his grandmother's puppies that had been stolen from her. He hadn't exactly gotten an estimate from Cruella concerning the cost but eighty-four puppies being bought from various pet stores around England had cost quite a lot of money. A frown came to the De Vil heir's face as he heard that nearly all the dogs had been sterilized after being purchased by their owners and there was no forthcoming information on the whereabouts of the dogs...this was beginning to be a waste of his time and if there was one thing Yulis hated besides the people who'd stolen his grandmother's rightful animals, it was someone coming to him and wasting his time with nonsense. He might have to dispose of Rogers then...his wolves hadn't been fed in a while...perhaps they would appreciate the rather fatty meal?

"Rogers," said Yulis as he watched the short man in greeting, his voice a deep tenor that sounded like water dripping in a cave, his laugh cold like a winter wind that caused many to fear the late-twenties heir. The man saved his own skin by giving him one bit of information that was useful...concerning one of the puppies of his grandmother though he couldn't be sure if it was one of the fifteen or the eighty-four...either way the fact that it had not been neutered and had a litter of its own was interesting. "It was shipped across the pond was it?" Six puppies wasn't very useful, he could not make as many coats with their fur but the things he could make with the fur seals could more than make up for the loss of the puppies...assuming he could smuggle them into England which shouldn't be an issue with his resources. "What of the Dear family? Do they ever visit this...Oddball and its pups?" He had no name for this male pup that had been shipped over to the States, so he went with the name he did know. If the Dear family visited these pups of Oddball's then they might visit the one stateside and its litter of six pups as well...or the might not which would be easier to make plans to take back what was his through a new litter.
