And some of you may catch on that it's a little hard to keep up with Sebastian's Jemacan accent. So if I missed a couple of words that shouldn't sound like basic English, go easy on me.
"YOU'RE THE DEVIL!" Maverick bellowed in anger, and his face shifted into a smile. "Made you look."

Also in other news. I've not only watched the Zach Snyder Justice League all the way through, personally while I would prefer a more upbeat and colorful Justice League, I'm open to a darker version. And Zach Snyder's Justice League is consistent with it's tone, free of a majority of the original film's faults and has enough action and enjoyable characters with a better version of Cyborg, that makes me smile. Granted I thought the gratuitous and sequel hints were unnecessary. Given that Zach is not coming back to do one. And Superman is more like a dark robot then the Christopher Reeves equivalent he should've been. And even though the film may have been just a little too long. But I understood why given how much ground Zach had to cover. Also Lois Lane is still about as enjoyable as flat stale bread. She's just not the enjoyable, foxy, tough, overly opinionated and hip reporter that I love to watch growing up as a kid and left an impression on me. I love Amy Adams as an actor but her Lois Lane was boring in the previous film and she's still just a bland plot tool in this one. I get that she was mourning for Clark in this film. But her relationship with Clark wasn't as interesting or investive as the previous times I seen them connect in other versions. If anything, the recent CW show 'Superman And Lois' are a much better couple. But despite those faults, for the sake of the story. The fixes. The better version of Steppenwolf and the amazing action sequences. This Justice League film is still a blast that does the heroes of DC Justice.

Also in case any you ask my thoughts on Falcon And The Winter Soldier. I'm enjoying it as well. So far so good. But I will give you my full opinions on it as soon as I watched and finish the whole show.
Anyway, now that I've shared my thoughts on epic stuff that's happened on our 4k televisions. Let's continue with this story of Sora and Aiden's journey. But first let's answer some comments.

Inside King Triton's Throne Room...
The king sat on his throne chuckling to himself as he smugly looked at the flower bud in his hand, the one Ariel gave her when she swam off humming to herself. Ever since Triton heard that his little girl was in love. He felt great. As if someone in the sea gave her the satisfaction the human world couldn't.
Perhaps the Guardians hooked her up with someone.
"Haha...Let's see now. Who could the lucky Merman be?" The king asked himself as he inquired at the flower like it was a person. But when the King noticed Sebastian peering his head at the entrance, the king felt awkward as he hid the flower behind his back and cleared his throat. "Achem...Come in Sebastian."
To say Sebastian felt extreme nervous would be an understatement. But he took a deep breath and put on a calm air.
" I mustn't overreact. I must remain calm." Sebastian said quietly to himself as he crawled like a crab up to the King's throne in a regal posture. Then he squeaked. "Yes?" More pitched then usual before he cleared his throat and asked normally. "Yes, You're Majesty?"
"Now, Sebastian, I'm concerned about Ariel." King Triton started, before beginning to twirl his Trident in his right hand while looking at it. "Have you noticed she's been acting peculiar lately?"
"Peculiar?" Sebastian asked, trying to hide his nervousness.
"You know, moaning about, daydreaming, singing to herself" King Triton said, smiling before turning to Sebastian. "You haven't noticed, hmm?"
"Oh - well, I -" Sebastian stuttered out before being interrupted.
"Sebastian..." King Triton said with a slightly stern voice.
"Hmmm?" Sebastian said, putting a big nervous smile on his face.
King Triton smirked before waving his finger in a 'come here' gesture, making Sebastian swim up to stand on the left armrest of Triton's throne.
"I know you've been keeping something from me. . . ." Triton said with a knowing tone, making Sebastian gulp loudly.
"Keeping . . . something?" Sebastian asked, a big nervous, toothy smile showing.
"About Ariel." Triton continued, still smirking, making Sebastian's legs begin to shake in fear, before he hid them with his claws, smiling nervously still.
"Ariel . . . ?" Sebastian squeaked out.
"In love?" Triton stated, leaning his head close to Sebastian, big smile and half-lidded eyes, pointing the tips of his Trident at Sebastian, making the poor crab yelp in fear.
Thinking the jig was up he grabbed Triton's beard, startling the king slightly, before he whimpered as he broke down to confess.
"I tried to stop her, sir! She wouldn't listen!" Sebastian groveled "I told her to stay away from humans! They are bad, they are trouble! And de Guardians trying to make her one wasn't helping any-"
"Humans?" Triton asked confused, before his face became angry, pushing off his throne as his Trident began to light up, reflecting his anger. "WHAT ABOUT HUMANS?!"
Realizing his mistake, Sebastian began smiling nervously again.
"Humans?" Sebastian started, pushing off Triton's beard and swimming backwards slowly, trying to slip away while trying to appease his angry king. "Who who who who. . . . Who said anything about humans?"
This was for naught as King Triton grabbed Sebastian in his fist, making the poor crab yelp in fear as he knew, he was caught.
Back at Ariel's Secret Grove...
Ariel and Flounder stood by or rather hovered by in the water. Waiting with the team as Maverick was hooking up the Cocoon.
The machine was stationed and applied in the middle of the grove thanks to the use of the Gummi Ship's teleporter.
The Cocoon appeared as a large circular glass chamber with a keypad at the base, and scanners at the top and bottom. Maverick was typing on the built in terminal after Blaze helped him hook up the substance generator and Sora helped with inserting the right chemical compounds.
"Before we reach the moment you become born anew, do you have any allergic reactions I should know about? Are you H2O intolerant? Do you have ticklish rib cages? Are you photophobic and do you suffer from tropic thunder?" Maverick asked Ariel while he was setting up.
"Uh….." Ariel looked confused and wasn't sure how to answer any of those questions.
"Ignore everything that just came out of his mouth Ariel. You have none of those things, IRIS already checked and there's no such thing as tropic thunder." Blaze deadpanned and assured Ariel.
"I didn't say it was a disease. But I'm talking to one right now." Maverick flirted.
Because Victoria is in a tropical underwater theme and she has thunder powers. It wasn't hard for her to figure out Maverick was flirting with her. Saying she's his weakness because she's sexy.
"Keep talking Mav. I know where you sleep." Blaze glared at Maverick which made him snicker.
Once everything was set as the Guardian's keyblade members were wearing their armored forms. They stood ready as Maverick pressed the power key.
The sounds of steam and mechanical noises were heard as the bright light from the machine came on.
Maverick turned to Ariel. If it wasn't for his armor not having a mouth. She could've seen his smile.
"Ready Sea Breeze?" Maverick asked Ariel.
"Not to sound majestic, but...Humanity awaits." Armored Sora smirked.
Ariel nodded and smiled. "I am. Now more then-"
"STOP THIS INSTANT!" a booming voice yelled out, startling the guardians and Ariel. They turn to see King Triton at the entrance, an angry look on his face.
Sebastian stood at the entrance looking afraid.
"Uh oh." Donald muttered and gulped.
"He looks mad." Goofy said nervously.
"Oh crap." Maverick muttered quietly.
"Daddy-" Ariel started only for Triton to interrupt her.
"What is the meaning of this atrocity?! Who brought this man-made abomination into my Kingdom?!" King Triton asked angrily, pointing at the Cocoon.
Aiden was about to reply when Sora beat him to it.
"It was me, Sir." Sora said, taking the blame, not wanting Maverick to take the fall.
Maverick looked surprised at Sora while Triton turned to him.
"You? You did this?" Triton seethed out with an expression that read utter betrayal.
"I'm sorry. But Ariel really wanted to better understand humans, so-" Sora started only to be interrupted.
"So you decide to take advantage and corrupt her with this blasphemous contraption?! To curse her to become a vile creature?!" Triton yelled.
"King Triton, that's not-" Sora started, but Triton interrupted again.
"ENOUGH! You just proved to me that I should never have trusted you or your friends with my daughter!" Triton yelled at the Guardians, before turning to Maverick. "I at least thought you would be different. I guess I was a fool to think otherwise."
"Daddy please stop!" Ariel said, trying to calm her father. "Sora and his friends did nothing wro-"
"As for you Ariel..." King Triton interrupted sternly, turning to her and making her flinch. "I consider myself a reasonable merman. I set certain rules, and I expect those rules to be obeyed."
"But Daddy-" Ariel tried to speak.
"Is it true you rescued a human from drowning?!" King Triton inquired heavily.
Maverick and Sora looked over at Sebastian as they realized he was the one that told King Triton everything. Sebastian recoiled at the sight of the Guardians stares.
"Daddy, I had to!" Ariel declared.
"Contact between the human world and the mer-world is strictly forbidden! Ariel, you know that!Everyone knows that!" King Triton exclaimed.
"He would've died!" Ariel testified.
"One less human to worry about!" Triton glared at her and at the Guardians. "Or any for that matter."
"You don't even know him." Ariel scowled.
"Know him? I don't have to know him! They're all the same! Spineless, savage, harpooning, fish-eaters, incapable of any feeling-" King Triton ranted.
And Ariel had enough. She couldn't handle holding it in as her father spoke wrongfully about Eric.
"DADDY I LOVE HIM!" Ariel screamed and gasped as she realized what she blurted out.
Sebastian looked afraid for Ariel as King Triton widened his eyes.
"No...Have you lost your sense completely?!" King Triton glared and pointed at his daughter. "HE'S A HUMAN YOU'RE A MERMAID!"
The Guardians couldn't interfere because they were outsiders. That and this was daddy/daughter issues on a whole nother level.
"I don't care." Ariel responded while flowing down to the ground and grasping the statue of Eric.
At that moment. King Triton has had enough.
"So help me Ariel, I am going to get through to you!" King Triton gripped his triton with both hands as the room grew a horrific bright surging light from his scepter. "And if this is the only way, so be it."
Then he pointed his triton at the Guardians. Trapping them in a mystical bubble as they were all pulled up above the sea floor.
"Whoa, what the hell?!" Blaze inquired.
"I am Groot!" Baby Groot pleaded.
Maverick felt the need to speak up. Because he could tell whatever King Triton is about to do next, is not good.
"Triton. We're not your enemies. Regardless of whatever you think of us and mankind." Maverick spoke calmly and seriously at the same time."We gave more to your world and the whole Multiverse then you could ever imagine. Think very carefully about what you're going to do next."
"Oh I thought about it alright. And I've come to realize that This should have been done the moment you showed up. But I chose to give you all the benefit of the doubt." Triton's Trident began to glow brighter. "That is one mistake I will not be making, ever, again!"
"But Daddy-" Ariel tried. But Triton would not listen.
"Guardians of the Multiverse! For your crimes against the sea and attempts in trying to corrupt my daughter! For your betrayal against my sacred trust and the trust against the entire ocean!" Triton decreed, his Trident releasing bolts of electricity. "I now sever all ties connected to you and Atlantica!"
"Daddy, no! Please!" Ariel pleaded with tears in her eyes, she was about to lose her friends. "Don't do this!"
"IN THE NAME OF MY FATHER AND HIS FATHER BEFORE! I KING TRITON! RULER OF ATLANTICA! CAST YOU OUT!" The King roared as his triton pointed at the Guardians.
And in a great flash of light, the Guardians were gone, cast off the world. Much to Ariel's horror.
Then Triton began to shoot at anything and everything that was human designed. To break Ariel's connection to humanity.
"Daddy!. . . No!. . . No, please- Daddy, stop!" Ariel kept pleading for him to stop as he kept shooting his triton at many objects from the surface world.
Finally, Triton turned his attention to the two objects that brought him great anger. The statue of Prince Eric. And the Cocoon.
Ariel looked with widened eyes and swam fast and grabbed her father's shoulder as she begged him not to.
"DADDY! NOOOOOO!" Ariel screamed.
But Triton didn't listen as he aimed his Triton at the statue and Cocoon. And shot a beam of light at both objects until...
***BOOOOOOOOM!***
Right before Ariel's eyes. Her hopes and dreams. And her only connection to the future love of her life. Are both gone. With her friends gone, no way to fulfill her dreams of being a part of the human world. Ariel is now broken. Lost. Heart broken.
She collapsed in front of the ruble and sobbed as she laid before it and cried her heart out.
King Triton turned away from her with no words. As he was making his way to the exit. He soon lost his glare as the reality of what he had done was starting to get to him. He gave one sad look at his daughter before he turned and left. As he was sure he made the right choice.
But in reality. He didn't.
Flounder came out and looked at his best friend sadly while Sebastian had a look of guilt. He slowly crawled up to the crying Ariel.
"Ariel...I." Sebastian tried to say. But couldn't find the right words of apology.
"Just go away." Ariel whispered in her sobs. She couldn't even look at the crab.
As the disaster of the situation was leaning heavily on the crab. Sebastian lowered his head in shame before he crawled out with Flounder.
Leaving a crying and broken Ariel behind in her grove. Surrounded by broken trinkets and broken dreams.
After a short while of never ending flow of tears and sobs. The two servants of Ursula swam in. Flotsam and Jetsam. Came in from the roof of the grove and smirked sinisterly at the crying mermaid.
"Poor…. child..." Flotsam slithered in circles above Ariel which gained her attention.
"Poor…. sweet….. child." Jetsam slithered in the opposite direction above Ariel.
"She has a very….serious problem." Flotsam cued sinisterly.
"If only there were something….. we could do." Jetsam taunted lightly.
"But there is….something." Flotsam stated.
Ariel recognized them as she gasped. "I know you...You both worked for Ursula, didn't you?" She glared at them.
"Work for….. actually." Flotsam corrected.
"She's….. back." Jetsam stated with a smirk.
Ariel gasped in shock. "How?"
"Your friend with the keyblade is powerful. But Ursula has a greater power." Flotsam smirked as they swam around Ariel. " To make all your dreams come true."
"Just imagine." They both say to seduce Ariel.
"You and your prince." Jetsam stated.
"Together, forever…..." They both say.
"What are you saying?" Ariel looked afraid.
"Ursula has great powers. The dark brought….her back…..." Flotsam stated.
"And sense you have no light to turn to now…..
." Jetsam stated.
"Try your hand….. in the dark…..." They both suggested.
Ariel couldn't believe what they were suggesting to her.
"What...No...I couldn't. Not after what she's done! Get out of here! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Ariel screamed as she turned away from them and went back to crying on the rock.
"Suit yourself…..." Flotsam responded.
"It was only a suggestion…..." Jetsam finished as he flicked the face of the broken statue over to Ariel.
Ariel looked down and picked up the face with both hands and looked deeply at it. Thinking about what they were offering. Sure she remembered the last time she trusted Ursula with a deal like this. But this is different, it's not like she's going to risk everyone. Only herself.
Ariel is the only one taking the risk. and not anyone else.
With Sora and his friends gone. The Cocoon destroyed. And her father's doing everything to crush her dreams. Her destiny.
What choice does she have?
Ariel grimaced before she called back to the two eels. "Wait!"
"Yes?..." They both turned and smiled sinisterly.
They got her now.
Several hours later on board the Gummi ship...
The Guardians were banished from Atlantica and reappeared back on their ship.
They tried using the ship's teleporter but it wouldn't let them back on. It's as if King Triton's magic was blocking them. Then They tried splashing back down and swimming into the ocean. But an invisible barrier was keeping them from getting inside Atlantica. They could only walk on top of the water. But they couldn't teleport through or break through the barrier of their exile.
They tried everything all day. Even Sora tried his keyblade as did Aiden and the others. No effect.
They could go anywhere on that world, except for Atlantica. Ariel was alone now. And there's nothing they could do about it.
The only thing they could find were the broken remains of Aiden's machine. The Cocoon. Much to Aiden's frustration and anger.
Now the Guardians sulk in the lower decks of the ship. Sora looked around the room and felt everyone's tension and failure.
Everyone sat quietly. except for Aiden who was throwing a tantrum as he slammed his ice fist down on a table multiple times as the temperature in the room turned cold around him.
"***K! ***K! ***KING! ***K!" Aiden bellowed and slammed his fist as he broke the metal table in half.
"It's not so bad fellas. We're still alive." Goofy timidly tried to cheer everyone up.
"Yeah. Even though we look like a bunch of betraying chumps." Donald sulked and grimaced looking down.
"GOD! ***KING! DAMN IT!" Aiden picked up a chair and slammed it down which broke into pieces making Donald and Goofy flinch.
"Aiden calm the ***k down! It's not helping!" Victoria yelled at her ranting boyfriend.
"You're right...Not helping." Aiden exhaled and slouched on one of the couches and the room temperature was lifting. "I spent six years of good money. And late nights of hard work in the basement working on that damn Cocoon. And after all that time, it gets demolished by an overprotective Santa Fire Truck."
"Oh…..What are we gonna do Sora?" Goofy asked sadly. "Now that we're outta the waters for good, and Ariel's all alone."
"There's gotta be some way to help her." Kairi protested.
"I don't know what to do. Because of King Triton's spell, we can't get anywhere near Atlantica." Sora said looking down. "He never resorted to something like this last time we were here."
"Last time, we weren't trying to turn Ariel into a human." Donald deadpanned.
"I gotta ask Spike, why did you tell him that you made the Cocoon?" Aiden asked, getting their attention and making them turn to Sora for an answer. "I can handle a berserk father well on my own."
"I know that. But he trusted you right off the bat. I figured if Triton had to be mad at someone, it would've been better him being mad at me alone." Sora said, looking down sadly. "I didn't know he would take it out on the rest of you guys too. I'm sorry everyone."
"It's okay Sora. You took responsibility as the team leader. And wanted to take the fall." Kairi placed a hand on his shoulder. Sora looked at her with appreciation.
"We're all to blame actually. We should've never done all of this behind Triton's back. And now Ariel is paying for our mistake." Victoria stated with her arms crossed and looking down.
"You all wanna know what's the worst part?" Aiden scoffed and had a little smile.
"I am Groot?" Baby Groot asked.
"If you all thought the an angry hard boiled Aqua-Dad was bad. Just wait until we suffer the wrath of Aunt Red for going to a mermaid kingdom without her." Aiden gave a sigh before looking down.
His Aunt Anna loved reading about mermaids. Even Victoria knew that. Everyone kinda gave a week snicker at that.
"Who's the poor soul who's gonna have to break the news to her?" Victoria said jokingly.
"One two three NOSES!" Sora said putting his finger on his nose, everyone else following suit, with Donald being last. Donald's it!"
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAK!?" Donald squawked.
"Well it's nice knowing you Duck Dynasty." Aiden said humorously while looking down like a moment of silence.
"Oh phooey!" Donald pouted, making everyone else laugh.
Just then the terminal in the lower deck began to alert the team.
'Attention Guardians. A large quantity of darkness has been detected in the outer rims of Atlantica. Lower depths of the ocean. The location also has the Mere-Princess's signal.' IRIS stated to the team.
"Ariel!" Kairi gasped.
"But how will we get there?! We're banished from the ocean!" Donald pointed out.
"We have to try something!" Victoria snapped.
"IRIS, show us the exact location. We need to know what to look for." Sora told the computer.
Then IRIS displayed a holographic map of the ocean. Showing a location that only Sora, Donald and Goofy recognized.
"No way." Sora's eyes widened as he realized where Ariel went.
Several hours ago back down in Ocean...
Flounder and Sebastian stood outside of Ariel's secret grove feeling sorry for her. The latter feeling ashamed.
"Poor Ariel." Flounder sadly looked down.
"I didn't mean to tell, it was an accident. I never meant to bring dis on the others as well." Sebastian sighed.
Just then a shadow passed over there as they both gasped seeing Ariel swimming off with Flotsam and Jetsam.
"Ariel. Where are you going? What are you doing with dis riff raff?" Sebastian swam up to Ariel and inquired.
"I'm going to see Ursula." Ariel stated bluntly.
"Ariel, no! No, she's a demon, she's a monster! Think About what she done to your friends a year ago!" Sebastian pleaded as he pulled on her tail
"Like you're any better?" Ariel glared back at Sebastian, because it was his fault the Guardians were banished. "Why don't you go tell my father. You're good at that."
Then Ariel swam off with the two eels.
"But...But, I..." Sebastian tried to say but exhaled as he gestured to Flounder to follow him. "Come on."
Then the two swam to follow after Ariel. Trying to see if they can keep her from getting into more trouble. Or in this case, danger.
Down to Ursula's lair...
Eventually, Ariel and the two eels made it to the entrance of Ursula's lair, which looked like the mouth of a giant sea monster. Ariel looked on, quite intimidated and scared.
"This way….." Flotsam and Jetsam said, gesturing towards the entrance of the cave, which she entered hesitantly.
As she swam through the cave, she looked down fearfully at the poor polyps who became the lost souls of sea creatures trapped here. One of them reached up to grab her wrist, scaring her before taking her wrist back.
"Come in. Come in, my child." Ariel heard someone say. She looked forward and saw Ursula emerge from the shadows of her throne. "We mustn't lurk in doorways. It's rude.
"So is attacking my friends and family." Ariel scowled, summoning up her courage. "How are you still alive? I thought Sora beat you a year ago."
"Oh he did. But someone with my knowledge and power does not stay down for long." Ursula said while smirking. "It took some time mind you. But I was finally able to regain my former strength."
"Unfortunately." Ariel frowned as Ursula moved over to a dressing room table and began to attempt to pretty up her appearance.
"Well it depends how you look at it my dear, now then. You're here because you have a thing for this human. This, er, prince fellow." Ursula said, applying hair conditioner before turning around in her seat to face Ariel with a teasing demeanor. "Not that I blame you. Heis quite a catch, isn't he? Well, angel fish, the solution to your problem is simple." Ursula continued talking as she faced her mirror again, now applying lipstick. "The only way to get what you want, is to become a human yourself."
Ariel's eyes widened at this before narrowing slightly.
"And you're willing to do this for me? Even after what happened last year?" Ariel asked suspicious. But Ursula just smiled and turned to her.
"But of course my dear. You see, ever since that terrible business that short time ago, I have worked to change." Ursula said moving close to Ariel. "And now I live to help unfortunate merfolk, like yourself. Poor souls with no one else to turn to."
Ursula began to swim up as music began to play, Fantasia at work again.
"I admit that in the past I've been a nasty~ They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch~" Ursula sang as the two eels mswam around her. "But you'll find that nowadays~ I've mended all my ways~ Repented, seen the light and made a switch, True? Yes~"
Ariel wasn't buying it and she felt like it might have been a mistake to come here. But for Eric's sake and the sake of her purpose. There was no turning back. Then as Ursula keot sining she displayed in a sea cauldron with mists of color showing the lost souls of past mermaids that came to her for help.
"And I fortunately know a little magic~ It's a talent that I always have possessed~ And here lately, please don't laugh~ I use it on behalf~ Of the miserable, lonely and depressed~" Ursula sang and leaned to mutter to her eels. "Pathetic."
"Poor unfortunate souls!~ In pain!~ In need!~" Ursula sang as the mist of the cauldron showed a fat mermaid and a skinny merman. "This one longing to be thinner~ That one wants to get the girl~ And do I help them?~"
Ursula snapped her fingers as the moving images shifted into a thin beautiful mermaid and a tall muscular merman coming together as if their dreams came true. "Yes Indeed~"
"Those poor unfortunate souls!~ So sad~ So true~" Ursula sang as Sebastian and Flounder swam in looking just a horrified and shivering at the sight of the lost souls crying out for help.
"They come flocking to my cauldron~ Crying, 'Spells, Ursula please!~' And I help them?~ Yes, I do~" Ursula smirked leaning against the cauldron. Then she stated as she sang. "Now it's happened once or twice~ Someone couldn't pay the price~ And I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals~"
The images of the happy mere couple shifted into lost souls much to Ariel's horror.
"Yes, I've had the odd complaint~ But on the whole I've been a saint~ To those poor unfortunate souls!~" Ursula sang as she gestured each lyrics before the horror of those souls.
Then Ursula beckons Ariel to the cauldron as each flashing showed Ariel what the deal requires as Ursula stated how it works.
"Now, here's the deal. I will make you a potion that will turn you into a human for three days. Got that? Three days. Now listen, this is important. Before the sun sets on the third day, you've got to get dear ol' princey to fall in love with you. That is, he's got to kiss you. Not just any kiss - the kiss of true love." Ursula stated.
Sebastian and Flounder came closer watching as an image of Ariel as a human appeared running.
"If he does kiss you before the sun sets on the third day, you'll remain human, permanently, but - if he doesn't..." The image of Ariel changed back into a mermaid. "you turn back into a mermaid, and….." the image got sucked back into the cauldron. "You belong to me."
"No Ariel!" Sebastian said, trying to stop this, only for Flotsam and Jetsam tie themselves around Sebastian and Flounder, silencing them. And before Ariel could comment, Ursula turned her back to her.
"Have we got a deal?" Ursula asked Ariel, who became hesitant again.
"If I become human, I'll never be with my father or sisters again." Ariel said a little sad.
"That's right. . . . But you'll have your man. Life's full of tough choices, innit?" Ursula joked in a mocking and snide tone, making Ariel cringe slightly before Ursula continued. "Oh, and there is one more thing. We haven't discussed the subject of payment. You can't get something for nothing, you know."
"But I don't have any-" Ariel started before one of Ursula's tentacles covered her mouth, interrupting her.
"I'm not asking much. Just a token, really, a trifle. You'll never even miss it. What I want from you is . . . " Ursula grabbed Ariel's chin and whispered the last two words. "your voice."
Ariel is stunned at this and held her hand to her throat.
"My voice?" Ariel whispered.
"You've got it, sweetcakes. No more talking, singing, zip." Ursula said, popping the 'p' in zip.
"But without my voice," Ariel said hesitantly. "how can I-"
"You'll have your looks! Your pretty face!" Ursula said before turning her back on Ariel. "And don't underestimate the importance of body language! Ha ha ha ha ha haaa!" After shaking her hips at the last three words, she began singing again.
"The men up there don't like a lot of blabber~ They think a girl who gossips is a bore~ Yes, on land it's much preferred~ For ladies not to say a word~ And after all, dear, what is idle prattle for?~ Come on, they're not all that impressed with conversation!~" Ursula sang as she started throwing all of the chemicals and potions and even bottles of ingredients that look alive with eyes. "True gentlemen avoid it when they can~ But they dote and swoon and fawn~ On a lady who's withdrawn~ It's she who holds her tongue who gets her man!~"
Ursula even tossed in a tongue during that one lyrics. For an underwater witch. She sure is enthusiastic about her dark deeds. Ariel can see that. But as much as this evil woman can't be trust. She couldn't pass this up.
There was no turning back.
"Come on, you poor unfortunate soul!~ Go ahead!~ Make your choice!~" Ursula sang as she displayed Eric's face over the cauldron. "I'm a very busy woman~ And I haven't got all day~ It won't cost much~ Just your voice!~ You poor unfortunate soul!~ It's sad~ But true!~"
Ursula boomed as she sang over the rising mist from the cauldron and she popped out a glowing contract and feather pin. Handing it to Ariel as she sang.
"If you want to cross a bridge, my sweet!~ You've got to pay the toll~ Take a gulp and take a breath~ And go ahead and sign the scroll!~ Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys~ The boss is on a roll~ This poor unfortunate soooooooooul!~" Ursula sung as the tension of Fantasia's dark melody rose.
Despite Sebastian and Flounder's muffled pleas for her to not do it. Ariel especially having second thoughts. The thought of Eric and everything that happened back at her secret grove, flushed down everything telling her no.
As Ariel signed the contract and made the deal. Putting her name for a deal with the she-devil Ursula.
Then Ursula held the contract and gave scary sick smile as her eyes changed colors before the horrors of all who were there and the little mermaid that made the deal.
"Paluga, sarruga, come winds of the Caspian Sea! Now rings us glossitis and max laryngitis, La voce to me!" Ursula chanted as green smokie hands rose out of the cauldron."Now . . . sing."
And Ariel began to sing and harmonize, her voice resonating in Ursula's lair.
"Keep Singing!" Ursula screamed in a crazed joy as the witch's eyes began to change colors. And the smokie hands move towards Ariel and enter her mouth. And when they pulled back, a ball of light came with them, Ariel's voice coming from it. Realizing this, Ariel held her throat, watching as the hands retreat into the shell around Ursula's neck, her voice being pulled into it.
"AAAAAH HAHAHAHAHAHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Ursula laughed evilly as her works of dark magic began to work.
With that done, a bolt of energy emerged from the cauldron and struck Ariel as Ursula laughed Maniacally. Sebastian and Flounder watched on in horror as the magic slowly changed her tail into a pair of human legs. And when the energy dissipated, Ariel was human.
But she was unable to breathe as she struggles to swim and panicked. Seeing this, Sebastian and Flounder came to her aid and led her out of the dark lair, all the while, Ursula continued to laugh.
After a minute of swimming, they finally reached the surface, and Ariel emerged from the water, taking her first breath as a human, while the sun rays illuminated the area around them.
Then Flounder used all of their strength to push Ariel close to shore as the sky felt a lot more bright after that moment of darkness.
Meanwhile at the beach near Eric's castle...
Eric was walking outside on the sandy beach near his castle, playing the flute as he couldn't stop thinking about the girl that saved her. And then disappeared after singing. He wished he could thank her, he wished he knew her name.
His dog Max kept barking playfully up at him as if he was wanting to play. But Eric still felt too lost and melancholy.
"That voice. I can't get it out of my head." Eric sighed as he walked along with his dog. "Where could she be Max?"
Meanwhile, way over on the far end of the shore. Flounder and Sebastian helped Ariel rest against a large boulder to rest. They both panted as they were exhausted from having to carry her all the way over here. But not as much as Ariel.
At the moment Ariel was out cold. But okay. Her body was getting used to her new form and how it operates. She would wake up at any moment.
"You okay Sebastian?" Flounder asked.
"Yea...Just...Give me a moment to catch...My breath." Sebastian panted.
Then suddenly the Guardians beamed down from their ship. Standing in front of Sebastian in their human forms and keyblader armors as all of them glared down at the crab. Sebastian gasped and smiled nervously as he figured they knew he told King Triton on them.
"I'm very tempted not to give you one." Armored Sora crossed his arms looking down at the crab.
"Oh hey Sora, Everyone." Sebastian said, laughing nervously. "Glad to see you all doing alright."
"No thanks to you." Armored Kairi said cross with the crab.
Suddenly, Sebastian was surrounded by a barrier of ice, making him yelp in fear.
"You better start explaining yourself Jimmy Cliff before I flash freeze you, then have my girl here serve you well done." Maverick snarled as held his hands out covered in ice, scaring Sebastian.
"Or don't talk. I could go for some seafood." Blaze glared as she ignited her hands, which terrified the poor crab even more.
"Guys wait!" Flounder swam up to them. "Look I know you're all upset."
"No, upset just took a nosedive Darwin." Maverick spat while not taking his angry eyes off of Sebastian. "We're miles beyond that."
"I know but, look a lot has happened! After the king banished you and destroyed your machine. Ariel went to see Ursula." Flounder stated.
"The sea witch?!" Sora, Donald and Goofy gasped simultaneously.
"Great, so this world has its own underwater Maleficent." Blaze snorted and shook her head.
"She made a deal with her! Ursula turned Ariel human in exchange for her voice and the only way to make her human permanently is to kiss the prince out of….Out of true love." Flounder explained on behalf of Sebastian.
"Oh God." Blaze exhaled and face palmed herself.
"This shit again? It's always a kiss. See this is why my world felt more fresh." Maverick hung his head back in annoyance about the whole true love kiss deal.
"Is there a catch?" Kairi asked.
"She has to do it before the end of three days or Ursula will own her soul." Flounder explained.
"Gwarsh." Goofy looked worried hearing those details. "Guess the stakes are set real high."
"Ya think?" Donald inquired at Goofy.
"Great! So we have a loophole payment. An IRS debt, Laryngitis. And an experation date. If this doesn't describe a 'classic fairy tale', then I don't know what does. All that's missing is Rumpelstiltskin." Maverick joked and threw his hands up in the air for a second and scoffed with his hands on his hips. Before he calls out to the sea. "Are you happy Poseidad?! Even Baby Girl couldn't stand the boiling hot pool any longer!"
Maverick really called out to Triton. But they knew he couldn't hear him. He was just ranting.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot waved it off.
"You're right. Who needs him." Maverick muttered in agreement.
"Hey she's waking up!" Donald noticed Ariel was coming to.
Everyone turned to see Ariel was beginning to wake up. As she opened her eyes and rubbed them to clear her vision, she looked up and saw the Guardians. Her friends, standing right infront of her. Her eyes widened, seeing that they were okay.
"Hey there Ariel." Kairi said, dismissing her armor, to kneel in front of her with a gentle smile. "You feeling okay?"
Ariel just smiled widely and teared up as she threw her arms around Kairi, silent tears falling, relieved to see that her friends were back.
"We're happy to see you too Ariel" Kairi giggled and hugged her back.
"Yeah, you gave us a bit of a scare." Sora shifted out of his armor as he, Donald and Goofy knelt down so she could see them.
Ariel gave them the same gleeful smile as she reached over to hug all three of them at the same time.
"Awe…." Donald blushed but smiled.
"Ahyuck! We missed ya too Ariel." Goofy smiled
"And we've heard from the grapevine that you've just got a pair." Maverick quipped as he shifted back into Aiden. Blaze followed suit as she shifted back into Victoria.
Ariel didn't quite get Aiden's little innuendo as she broke out of the hug with her friends and looked down to see her new knees protruding above the water. The sight surprised her, as she slowly lifted up a fresh new right leg up out of the water and looked at her new bare foot. Fresh as baby skin, smooth and beautiful as the ex mermaid that now owns it. It's her foot. Ariel has feet. Human legs!
A big smile began to form on Ariel's face, which even grew bigger as she wiggled her toes.
"Well! Look at what the catfish dragged in!" They siddenly heard as they turned to see a seagull fly over and land on top of Ariel's leg.
This seagull turned out to be Scuttle, another one of Ariel's friends. Her teacher and consultant on human objects. Also the one that gave her the wrong name for the fork.
"Uh...What?" Sora inquired.
"I'm guessing he's the idiot sidekick." Victoria whispered.
"Dat's putting it mildly." Sebastian groaned as he face palmed himself. Clearly not a fan of Scuttle.
"Hey Scuttle!" Flounder said to Scuttle, before gesturing to the team. "This is Sora, Donald, and Goofy. The ones Ariel told you about some time ago."
"Oh yeah. I remember her telling me. They sure look like a lethal but interesting bunch." Scuttle smiled as he turned to them while still on Ariel's leg. "Pleased to meet you. The names Scuttle, Human Expert."
"So you're the one teaching Ariel about the human world?" Goofy asked.
"Got it in one my fine canine friend." Scuttle smiled with a wink with a click of his tongue.
"I'm thinking class started but the teacher's late." Aiden gave Scuttle a weird look at the fact that he doesn't notice he's standing on Ariel's leg.
"Speaking of Ariel, Look at ya! There's something different." Scuttle said to Ariel who nodded and smiled. "Don't tell me, I got it. It's your hairdo, right? You've been using the dinglehopper, right?"
Ariel smiled cheekily and shook her head while Kairi stiffled a giggle.
"Should we give him a hint?" Sora amusingly asked Aiden.
"Nah. Let's see how long this plays out." Aiden suggested with his arms crossed while looking weirdly at Scuttle's obliviousness.
"No? No huh, well let me see." Scuttle pondered as he tapped his feathered fingers on Ariel's toes, which made her raise her eyebrow at the seagull amusingly. "New . . . seashells?"
Ariel thought for a moment before she smirked playfully and wags her leg lightly to give Scuttle a hint. Which he still wasn't getting.
"I swear to God. If I dropped this bird in Springfield, he'd fit right in." Victoria shook his head at the seagull's stupidity.
"No new seashells. I gotta admit I can't put my foot on it right now, but if I just stand here long enough I know that I'll -" Scuttle tried to think some more until.
"SHE'S GOT LEGS, YOU IDIOT!" Sebastian exclaimed in frustration making Scuttle gasped and hop off of Ariel's leg. "She traded her voice to da sea witch and got legs. Jeez, man..."
"I knew that." Scuttle smiled and assured them.
"Sure..." Donald rolles his eyes.
Then Aiden made a quip at Scuttle. "Yeah don't mean to bum you out Airhorn Leghorn, you missed half the movie. But don't worry we saved you a seat and- Don't get up yet!" Aiden stopped Ariel who almost was about to stand up as she looked a little startled. "Sorry. You're just not wearing anything underneath and my therapist is on vacation. That and I would like for my first glimpse to be hers."
By 'hers' Aiden meant Victoria.
"Keep making those innuendos and the only glimpse of me you'll see is my fist." Victoria warned, raising her fiery fist at him.
"Message received." Aiden cringed. Before he looked at Ariel. "Anyhow."
Aiden twirled his fingers and used his ice powers to conjure up a one piece blue dress made of ice around Ariel. The dress wasn't like Elsa's ice dress since it appeared more silky than anything. It reached just below Ariel's knees so she can have some space to practice walking on her bare feet. Ariel seemed to like it.
"Perfect!" Flounder complemented the look.
"Now you look like you're born here Sweetheart!" Scuttle beamed.
"Alright now you're censored Sea Breeze. You can stand." Aiden quipped as he took Ariel's appreciative look as thanks ."No need to thank me."
"Here Ariel. Let me show you how to use those." Kairi offered as she reached her hand out to show Ariel how to walk.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot whispered playfully. Translate: "That's what she said."
Ariel nodded and took Kairi's hand to stand up and steady herself. Her friend's help, Ariel now stood on her bare feet for the first time. And nearly lost balance if it wasn't for Kairi helping her to stay on her feet.
"There you go. Now just follow my steps, and I'll show you how to walk." Kairi said, to which Ariel nodded. And the two began walking slowly on the sandy.
The other team members followed while Flounder swam near the waters. They all conversed on how to handle this situation.
"Ok. So Ariel is now human, and has three days to get Eric and her to fall in love and kiss. Or else Ursula will have her soul." Sora whispered to the others.
"You forgot to mention that she also can't talk anymore" Victoria deadpanned.
"Oh boy." Donald groaned. "This is messed up."
"You're tellin me. Just look at her. On legs. On human legs!" Sebastian whined and panicked."My nerves are shot. Dis is a catastrophe! What would her father say? I'll tell you what her father'd say, he'd say he's gonna kill himself a crab, that's what her father'd say!"
"He won't if he doesn't find out. Or are you going to squeal on that too." Sora scowled look at the crab.
"No offense. But if dis doesn't play out well. Ariel's soul is lost! Her father's triton can't break Ursula's alchemy! Not even a keyblade can!" Sebastian pointed out.
"Ya mean...giving Ariel A true love's kiss is the only way to save her?" Goofy worried.
"I'm afraid so." Flounder looked down sadly.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot looked worried too.
"It's not like we can get to Ursula anyway." Victoria pointed out. "King Triton banished us from the ocean. His barrier won't allow us to even take a skinny dip.
"Maybe you. But not me...No. I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna march myself straight to dat sea-demon and demand Ariel's freedom!" Sebastian stated with affirmation causing Ariel to widen her eyes and go to pick up Sebastian in her hands.
"Come on Shell Shake. Do you really think she'll cave in to your threats?" Victoria snorted.
"I got no choice! I practically helped raise dis girl and don't you don't you shake your head at me, young lady." Sebastian pointed at Ariel like a stern parent." Maybe dere's still time. If we could get dat witch to give you back your voice, you could go home with all da normal fish, and just be . . . just be . ."
Sebastian faltered looking at Ariel's sad eyes. Making him realize what that would do to a tender soul like her.
"...just be miserable for the rest of your life." Sebastian sighed and sulked as he gave in. "All right, all right. I'll try to help you find dat prince."
Ariel smiled widely and kissed Sebastian on the head before putting him back down.
"Awe...You couldn't say no to that face could you?" Kairi smirked at how cute that was.
"Yeah...Boy. What a soft-shell I'm turning out to be." Sebastian sighed.
"We knew you'd come around." Victoria teased a little.
"Well all that's left is for Ariel to meet her Prince charming." Scuttle mused and asked. "Any ideas?"
The Guardians pondered until Aiden came up with an idea.
"I think we should go with an old fashion Nightingale syndrome." Aiden stated with a smirk.
"The what?" Sora asked as Ariel tilted her head wondering as well.
"It's when a caregiver falls in love with a patient." Victoria explained.
"Except Ariel's not sick." Kairi pointed out.
"No. Granted she's fine. But her ship over there crashed. " Aiden stated the plan while using a hologram projection from his ring to display a crashed ship near the shore. "Let's say, Sea Breeze woke up here and is in need of tender care. After the ride crashed on the side of the freeway. Are you all catching my winds yet people?!"
It took a while before they could figure out what Aiden meant. And Sora was the first one.
"Ooooh. I'm following you." Sora said, smiling at the idea, the others smiled and nodded as well, while Ariel was still slightly confused.
Meanwhile, back with Eric and Max, Eric looked on towards the ocean. All of a sudden, Max's head shoots up, picking up a familiar scent. Max began barking happily, catching Eric's attention as Max began to run off.
"Max?" Eric called out to him before running after him. "Hey Max!"
Back over with Ariel and the others.
"Now remember. You've just woken up on shore and you need help. He'll take you in and the rest should be just a short swim." Sora stated the plan to Ariel who was standing next to a upstanding bolder.
She nodded and smiled.
Finally they jumped when they heard Max barking. "RUFF RUFF!"
"He's coming!" Victoria whispered before she quickly uses her stealth belt to cast a camouflage shade around her team. Hiding in plain sight while invisible.
Leaving Sebastian and Flounder to hide in the water, Scuttle to hude behind a rock and Ariel available to meet her man.
Max came running barking all the way. Ariel saw this and climbed onto the rock while Max barked and panted happily. Sebastian watched on scared from his hiding spot in a pocket on Ariel's dress. Max leaped up all of a sudden and licked Ariel's face, making her giggle silently.
"Max?" They both hear Eric call out, making Max leap back down before running towards his approaching Master.
"Max?" Eric said before seeing Max jumping excitedly in front of him. "Quiet Max! What's gotten into you fella?"
Eric smiled at Max's antics before looking up and seeing Ariel.
"Oh I see. Are you okay Miss?" Eric walked up and asked Ariel who smiled sheepishly while fixing her hair.
"I'm sorry this knucklehead scared." He chuckled while ruffling Max's furr while the dog panted happily. "He's harmless really, uh..."
Eric paused when he was looking at Ariel's face and the way she smiled majestically at him.
"You seem very familiar to me. Have we met?" Eric asked and Ariel nodded gleefully." We have met. I knew it. You're the one! The one I've been looking for."
Sora from his cloaked position fist bumped Aiden, thinking they did a job well done when they saw the way they took hands and the dog barked approvingly.
"What's your name?" Eric asked in excitement.
Ariel tried to say it but when nothing came out of her mouth her smile faltered as she touched her own neck. Which concerned Eric.
"What's wrong?" Eric asked as Ariel patted her neck. "You can't speak? Oh... Oh, then you couldn't be who I thought."
Max blew his lips and rolled his eyes in annoyance and Ariel did the same.
"Grrrrh!" Donald groaned in annoyance.
"What was that?" Eric turned to look for that noise and Ariel looked nervous as she waved her arms gaining Eric's attention.
"What is it?" Eric inquired.
Then Ariel thought of an idea and as it dawned on her. Aiden left the pendant they found in her dress pocket. So she took it out and gave it to Eric.
"Hey...That's my mother's pendant! You found it?!" Eric smiled
Ariel nodded and smiled back.
"I thought I lost it when...Wait. Were you in an accident?" Eric asked out of concern.
Ariel bit her lip and nodded slightly as she pointed at the fake ship wreck near the shores.
"Darn...You must've been through a lot." Eric figured ouf of sympathy for Ariel. He recalled when his ship was wrecked during the storm. Because of this he felt the need to return the favor. "Please. Come with me, I can help you."
Eric offered his hand to Ariel and she smiled as she took his hand and stepped off the rock. And as they were walking away.
Ariel looked back and smiled in excitement looking back at her friends who came out of their cloaked positions and hiding places. They smiled back at them while Sora was giving her a thimbs up and Aiden was giving her a two finger gang sign.
"Well, so far so good boys." Victoria mused as soon as they were far enough away.
"Yeah. Although I think Ariel and that dog Max seemed a bit annoyed at Eric for not realizing it was her." Kairi quipped with a slight pout.
"Well dogs are a really good judge of character." Sora remarked.
"Yeah. Sort of reminded me of Pluto." Goofy commented.
"So now what do we do?" Donald asked.
"We follow the soon to be power couple close by while we stay hidden, keep watch over Sea Breeze, help out when needed." Aiden explained.
"Right. Flounder, Scuttle you two will stay close by to the shore while Sebastian comes with us." Sora said to the fish and seagull.
"Okay." Flounder nodded.
"Sounds good to me, Kid." Scuttle approved.
"Great. Ready to go Sebastian?" Kairi said before looking around but not finding Sebastian. "Hey guys. Where's Sebastian?"
Everyone looked around before Sora gasped in realization.
"Uh oh. He was in Ariel's dress when Eric showed up. He's probably still there." Sora realized, the others widening their eyes at the possible repercussions.
"Well ***k" Aiden deadpanned.
Later inside the castle...
Ariel was being given a bath inside a large merine themed bathroom. Inside the tub she was playing with some bubbles in her hands from the soap suds. Blowing them in her hands while her bath was being assisted by a maid named Carlotta. Who was a kind and caring lady, that seemed to get the right idea that Prince Eric picked a perfect match.
They all do in the castle. Even if Eric wasn't so sure. He had no idea Ariel was the same girl. But without a voice, she can't prove it. Not that it's stopping them from having dinner together.
"Washed up from a shipwreck, oh you poor thing." Carlotta coed sweetly as she poored water over Ariel's head. "We'll have you feeling better in no time."
Sebastian was still hiding inside her blue one piece dress as he was trying to find a way out. Her dress was hanging in the bathroom. But Carlotta picked it up to have it delivered to the other servants outside. "I'll just have this washed for you."
The dress with Sebastian still in it, was taken outside to the royal washers who were doing some work in scrubbing it in a bucket. Much to Sebastian's peril of getting passed around and scraped against cleaning tools like a hard shell rag doll. The maids talked among themselves about Ariel.
"Well you must've heard about this girl." One maid said as they all were saiying 'no' while gossiping about where they went.
Meanwhile Donald and Goofy were tasked with looking for Sebastian while the others were keeping an eye on Ariel on the other end of the castle. The Disney Duo were on the roof looking for the crab.
"Find anything?" Donald asked as he was looking through one of the windows.
"Nothin...Hey! I think I found where the dress went!" Goofy spotted the maids cleaning Ariel's dress and hanging it up to dry.
As the dress passed by an open window while on the clothes line, Sebastian jumped out of the dress and into the open window, without being seen by anyone, not even the Disney trio.
As soon as the dress was up high enough, Donald, with Goofy holding on to his legs, reached down and grabbed the dress.
"Got it! Pull me up! Hurry!" Donald whispered to Goofy, who then pulled hard enough Goofy landed on his back, and Donald was launched into the air screaming before landing on his back on the roof hard. Yet no one saw or heard them.
"Oops. Sorry Donald." Goofy said standing up. "Guess I don't know my own strength. Ahyuck!"
He then gave his hand to Donald to help him up, the mage mumbling his frustrations about Goofy.
"Let's just get back to the others." Donald muttered before reaching into the dress. "Come on Sebastian. Time to-"
Donald paused, not feeling anything.
"WAK" Donald squauked. "He's not here!"
"Huh?! Guarsh. Where could he be?" Goofy asked scratching his head, the two looking around for the crab.
Meanwhile, Sebastian stood up from where he landed after jumping into the window.
"Oh boy, what did I do to deserve dis?" Sebastian asked before looking up and gasping in horror.
In one spot, he saw a fish with it's head cut off. Another spot had tentacles coming out of a pot. Sebastian looked at another spot and gasped again, seeing a plate with three stuffed crab dishes. The sight made his eyes roll to the back of his head and fall backwards, passing out, in the palace kitchen.
Back over at the castle dining room...
Eric was looking out the window in his thoughts as Grimsby was speaking candidly with him. While Sora, Aiden, Victoria and Kairi were cloaked and hiding in different places. They would change their hiding spots every now and then. And thanks to Kairi and Sora's freeflow abilities. Thry can't get tired or slip up. This way they can stay close but out of sight.
Aiden also managed to uses his neon soundwave effect to mute their voices. That way no one can hear the team but the team could hear each other.
The conversation between Eric and Grimsby was still going on.
"Oh Eric, be reasonable. Nice young ladies don't just swim around rescuing people people in the middle of the ocean." Grimsby stated from his seat while fixing his smoke pipe. "And then flitter off into oblivion like some..."
"I'm telling you Grim. She was real. I'm gonna find that girl and I'm gonna marry her."
"Sheesh. Apparently this world hasn't had a Southern Isle pimp slap to the brains yet." Aiden scoffed about how Eric's persistence in marry a girl he just met.
Aiden could understand Ariel wanting to be with Eric, but Eric wanting to be with a different girl that doesn't exist? That's the problem. Eric doesn't even know this none existing woman. and Ariel left a better impression even though she doesn't have her voice. Ariel was the girl and Eric couldn't see it.
"Sounds like his caretaker is trying to convince him that Ariel is the one." Sora noticed from his hidng spot.
Then they heard the chuckle of Carlotta escorting Ariel into the dining room.
"Come on, Honey. Don't be shy." Carlotta said gently to Ariel as she was now getting use to walking.
Ariel came in looking around the dining room like a curious little girl and gave Eric a cute smile. The red headed ex mermaid was wearing a pink dress like she was at a ball. With heels and her hair loose and done perfectly. Ariel's new look made Eric's heart pump as he froze at the beautiful girl in front of him.
"Oh, Eric. Isn't she a vision?" Grimsby smiled at her as well.
"Uh...You look, wonderful." Eric blushed which made Ariel smile shyly and Grimsby smirked at both of them.
"Take a hint Romeo." Victoria muttered from her hiding place.
Thank goodness no one could hear them.
"Come come come, you must be famished. Let me help you my dear." Grimsby said, leading Ariel to her seat, which Eric pulled out for her to sit. "There we go - ah - quite comfy?" Grimsby asked, to which Ariel nodded, a smile on her face. "Uh. It's - It's not ofen that we have such a lovely dinner guest, eh Eric?"
Ariel looked down at the table and sees a fork at her spot. She smiled and picked it up and, forgetting what she was told by Aiden, proceeded to use it to brush her hair with it, much to Eric and Grimsby's surprise and confusion, as Eric raised his eyebrow at her and Grimsby just looked startled. The Guardians groan from their hiding places.
"Ariel forgot what Aiden told Her!" Kairi whispered loudly.
"She's making herself look like a nitwit." Victoria groaned facepalming herself.
"Hold on." Aiden said before signaling for Ariel to look in his direction. Thankfully she does and sees Aiden with a neon fork in his hand which he brought to his mouth, with neon letters floating above his head saying 'I TOLD YOU FORKS ARE USED FOR EATING!' Seeing this, Ariel realized her mistake and looked towards Eric and Grimsby before putting the fork down, feeling embarrassed.
"I'm starting to think we rushed into this a little too quickly." Aiden muttered.
"Ya think?" Victoria said sarcastically.
Ariel looked down embarrassed before looking back up and seeing Grimsby across from her with his pipe, the sight of which made her smile again. Grimsby, realizing what she was looking at, smiled to her.
"Oh, do you like it?" Grimsby asked before handing his pipe over to her, Ariel smiling and putting her lips to it. "It is rather-" he was caught off guard when she blew into the pipe, spraying the ashes inside all over his face "fine . . ."
The Guardians facepalmed at the site.
"I swear the next time I see Mr. Human Expert, he's fried squab." Aiden quipped.
"I'll join you." Victoria muttered.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot hummed at the thought. Translated: "Hmmmm, fried squab."
Eric chuckled nervously and cleared his throat. "Sorry Grim." He muttered.
"Why Eric. That's the first time I've ever seen you smile like this." Carlotta said warmly at this.
"I've always smiled." Eric shrugged optimistically.
"Oh sure Dear. But this. It's been years. I think the last time I've seen your cheeks spread like this was when you were just a boy." Carlotta marveled at the side.
Aiden kind of felt a rock hit his chest hearing that. Eric clearly hasn't been completely happy sense that time he lost his parents. And Aiden couldn't do anything to save them.
"Ah yes. Very amusing." Grimsby muttered as he cleaned his face with a cloth. Then he smiled and asked. "Carlotta my Dear. What's for dinner?"
"Oh you're going to love it! We made sure that the Miss here will the royal vegetarian special. The note she gave me stated she isn't quite fond of meat." Carlotta stated as she placed a hand on Ariel's shoulder which made her smile.
"Vegetarian special?" Victoria inquired looking at Aiden.
The team looked over at Aiden knowing he put that note in Ariel's dress to state she's a vegetarian. Aiden knows how to take precautions for situations like this and this is how he does it. Plus he remembered how certain guests from Arendelle who were deaf would write a dinner request note and leave it in their dress for safe keeping. He figured this culture was the same.
"Do you know how traumatized she'll be if she eats her next door neighbors?" Aiden pointed out a fact about Ariel.
"As for everyone else's main course. The chef's been fixing his specialty, stuffed crab." Carlotta stated happily.
The guardians looked worried. Could that be where Sebastian ended up? They wondered this.
"You don't think..." Sora almost asked.
"Groot. Head for the kitchen. Stay cloaked and see if you can find Mr. Krabs and get his ass of the garlic butter." Aiden tasked Baby Groot on rescuing Sebastian.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot saluted as he ran across the floor. Thankfully he was still cloaked so no one could see him. That and being tiny helps. But not with the fact that a few steps away for a human is a five yard jog for Baby Groot and his tiny legs.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot panted as he ran and groaned. Translate: "This was going to be a long walk."
Back inside the castle kitchen…..
Sebastian peared out from behind a pitcher on the table and gasped at the sight before him.
A rather chubby man wearing chef attire had his head in a lower cubert. And when he pulled out, he held a bowl of fish, humming as he danced his way over to a table before setting it down before adjusting his bowtie and began to sing. Fantasia can work wonders in the kitchen. Especially with Chef Louis here.
"Les poissons, les poissons~" the chef sang while grabbing a fish and rocking it back and forth like it was a baby. "How I love les poissons~" he dropped it onto the table before pulling out a meat cleaver.
"Love to chop~And to serve little fish~" The chef known as Louis chopped as he sang much to the horror of Sebastian who watched whole chattering his teeth.
"First I cut off their heads~ Then I pull out the bones~" Chef Louis sang his actions while holding the fish bones. "Ah mais oui~ Ca c'est toujours delish~"
Sebastian seeing the fish gore action of Fantasia at work in the kitchen nearly made the crab almost barf as he held his mouth while turning green.
"Les poissons~ Les poissons~ Hee hee hee!~ Hoh hoh hoh!~" Chef Louis sang as he kept chopping like a French iron chef while Sebastian dreadfully crawled across the counters without being seen and hid behind a wicker bottle. "With the cleaver I hack them in two~"
Sebastian tried to run again but jumped in fight at the gory sight of a fish head landing in front of him. Then he turned to see Chef Louis's shadow as he kept chopping and pulling out fish parts.
"I pull out what's inside!~ And I serve it up fried!~ God, I love little fishes~ Don't you?~" Chef Louis sang as he gutted some fish, slung some into a frying pan then he tossed some in perfect form of a plate of cod-ka-bobs.
Sebastian was standing next to thr dish as being up close was a sick sight to him. It's hard not to feel sorry for this crab.
"Here's something for tempting the palate~ Prepared in the classic technique~" Chef Louis sang as Sebastian crawled across the table using a lettuce leaf to hide from the crazy talented chef that was chopping fish behind him. But the loud hard chops on the table caused the crab to bounce in the air and panic. "First you pound the fish flat with a mallet~ Then you slash through the skin~ Give the belly a slice!~"
Sebastian grimaced at the lyrics and sounds. How could anyone in his species stand this?
"Then you rub some salt in~ 'Cause that makes it taste nice~" Chef Louis sings his actions as he rubbed salt in a headless piece of fish and craddles it like a stuffed doll.
Then the chef picked up thr lettuce piece and found Sebastian there. Frozen in fear as he couldn't move.
"Zut alors, I have missed one!" Chef Louis noticed as he picked the crab up.
"Sacre bleu~ What is this?~ How on earth could I miss?~ Such a sweet little succulent crab?~" Chef Louis danced in the kitchen with Sebastian in his grasp. "Quel dommage!~ What a loss!~ Here we go in the sauce!~ Now some flour, I think!~ Just a dab!~"
The chef sang these words as he tossed Sebastian in a bowl full of garlic sause and flung flour in Sebastian's face who sneezed without the chef noticing.
"Now I stuff you with bread~ It don't hurt 'cause you're dead!~ And you're certainly lucky you are~" Chef Louis sang and stuffed the front of Sebastian shell with a Danish crab stuffing. Which made him cough it out.
"'Cause it's gonna be hot~ In my big silver pot!~" Chef Louis danced as he flung Sebastian towards the pot."Toodle loo mon poisson!~"
But Sebastian panicked and caught the edge of the cooking pot before he could fall in and yelped when a boiling hot water sourced his butt. Making the crab fall on the table. The tudd was loud enough for Chef Louis's attention.
"Eh?" Chef Louis turned and saw the crab on the table. So he grabbed a curved meat fork and used it to pick up Sebastian, who retreated into his shell to hide as Louis brought Sebastian close to his face to inspect him.
"What is this?" Louis said, squinting at Sebastian.
A moment later, Sebastian pinched Louis's nose with both claws.
"OW!" Chef Louis yelped in pain and dropped the fork to grab his face, causing Sebastian to land on a pot on the stove.
Sebastian looked up to see Louis reaching towards him, an angry look on his face. Sebastian jumped down, causing Louis to touch the hot stove, making him scream and recoil his hand, while Sebastian's jumping to the floor caused a heavy pan to land on his Louis's right foot, making him jump up and down holding his injured foot repeatedly saying " Ow ow ow ow ow!"
Once he recovered, the angry chef grabbed several knives and threw them at Sebastian like darts, making Sebastian run and hide underneath a counter.
Louis got down, looking into the opening Sebastian went through, with a meat cleaver in his hand.
Sebastian made it to the top of the counter and pushed the bowl of garlic sauce off the counter and on top of his head, obscuring his eyes. In anger, his mustache curled and with a war cry, he sliced the counter in half with the cleaver.
After which, he looked around for Sebastian and turned to see Sebastian running away, only for Louis to throw his meat cleaver into his way, making the poor crab gasp and turn around and run in the opposite direction, running between Louis's legs, who was now standing up with a wooden mallet in his hand. Louis looked under between his legs to see Sebastian retreat into an open cabinet full of fine china. Louis began running towards there, mallet still in hand, making Sebastian gasp in fear, before the angry chef leaped towards the crab, a crazed look in his now bloodshot eyes.
Meanwhile, back in the dining room…..
Everyone heard a loud crash coming from the direction of the kitchen.
"Uh….I think I better go see what Louis is up to." Carlotta said with a nervous smile, setting a plate down on the table before running towards the kitchen.
The Guardians, still hidden, looked between one another.
"Sounds like Crab Cakes is making a new friend." Aiden said jokingly.
"Either that, or a Tom And Jerry episode." Victoria groaned, facepalming herself again.
Back inside the kitchen…...
The place was a total wreck. Like an angry tornado came in and threw a tantrum. Chef Louis was tossing stuff out from under the table grumbling and looking for Sebastian.
"Come out, you little pipsqueak! And fight like a man!" The angry chef exclaimed.
Chef Louis looked tattered and beaten from the chase as his outfit was mess up. And one of the tips of his mustache was lit up. He looked so unprofessional. Especially when Carlotta came in.
"LOIUS!" Carlotta exclaimed making the chef bump his head and recoil at the maid's glare. "What are you doing?!"
"Uh...Well, I was just. Uh..." Louis rolled around his words as he couldn't think of an explanation and smiled nervously at her glare. "I'm sorry Madame."
After putting the flame off his mustache. Carlotta huffed in frustration before she picked up the plates and left.
As Carlotta was walking down the hall. Baby Groot finally made it to the door huffing and exhausted as he looked up and saw Sebastian peer his head out looking nervous.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot groaned and rolled his eyes before he ran after the lady this time.
Back inside the Dining room…...
The Guardians watched as this 'dinner date' between Eric and Ariel was going well. Despite what happened in the kitchen.
"You know Eric, perhaps our young guest might enjoy seeing some of the sights of the kingdom. Something in the way of a tour." Grimsby offered an idea after a sip of champagne.
Eric was day dreaming looking at Ariel before he train of thoughts came back to him and he looked at Grimsby. "I'm sorry Grim, what was that?" He asked for his caretaker to repeat what he said.
"You can't spend all your time moping about." Grimsby spoke sternfully at Eric. "You need to get out. Do something. Have a life."
Once the dinner plates made it to the table and Carlotta took the lids off. Ariel's eyes widened seeing Sebastian on Grimsby's plate. Sebastian shooked Ariel. And she looked anxious as she looked around and spotted Baby Groot running across the ground, as his cloak was wearing off from being away from Victoria's belt too long.
Ariel waved a little without no one seeing her as she got Baby Groot's attention. Then she pointed at Grimsby's plate.
Baby Groot nodded as he slides across tile floor and extends his wooden arms and grabbed Sebastian off of Grimsby's plate. The two ran away just in time as the conversation was about to close.
"Get your mind off of-" Grimsby almost said.
"Okay easy Grim, easy." Eric calmly eased his caretaker. "It's not a bad idea, if she's interested."
Ariel sighed in relief seeing Sebastian got to safety as he and Baby Groot ran in to get cloaked with the other Guardians in the room.
"Well, what do you say? Would you like to join me on a tour of my kingdom tomorrow?" Eric asked Ariel.
And the girl smiled and nodded with interest. Confirming to them that Ariel would love to
"Wonderful. Now let's eat before this crab wonders off my plate." Grimsby smiled and was about to eat but looked surprised that his plate was empty.
"Damn. He must've ordered the diet stuffed crab." Aiden quipped.
"What happened in the kitchen?" Kairi asked Sebastian.
"How did you end up in the kitchen?" Sora asked also.
"You don't want to know." Sebastian gagged and sulked a little.
That following night up in a bedroom...
Ariel was given the guest bedroom upstairs in the castle with a view of the ocean. The mute girl was wearing a pink nightgown as she watched Eric playing fetch with Max outside which she enjoyed the sight of. They even waved at each other when they caught each other's sight.
Inside the bedroom Sora and the others were making sure the castle and everything around was secure. Before they head back up in the ship to prepare for tomorrow.
"Alright. We've gone over this place with a fine tooth comb. And other than the eccentric chef who's insanity second to me and Harley Morenstein, everything seems to be fine." Aiden said to Ariel and Sebastian as Ariel sat in a chair in her room and Sebastian was standing on top of a dresser.
"Eccentric my shell, dat man is a maniac!" Sebastian exasperated and exhaled. "Dat was da most humiliating moment of my life."
"It still beats banishment." Victoria snorted.
"You're never gon let me live dat down on you?" Sebastian frowned.
"Not by a long shot Shellshock." Aiden condescendingly patted Sebastian's head making the crab sigh.
"Relax. What's done is done. Besides, you're no longer in the kitchen. As long as you avoid going there, you shouldn't have an issue like that again." Victoria assured Sebastian.
"Well since everything is fine here, we should probably return to the ship for the night." Sora said to the group.
"I'm with you there Spike. I think we could all use a power long overdue nap. And something that doesn't taste like sea water." Aiden said, everyone in the room nodding in agreement.
"Well I guess we'll be off. Goodnight Ariel." Kairi smiled as she and Ariel gave each other a good night hug. "We'll see you in the morning."
Ariel smiled and nodded back as they ended the hug.
"Before we go Sea Breeze. Here's a tip about romance and getting to first base. Don't do anything I would do. In fact don't do anything I wouldn't do." Aiden stated frimly and humorously.
Ariel tilted her head looking a little confused.
"There's a small little grey area there and that's where you operate. By being open and the exact opposite of Spike over there." Aiden gestured his friend behind him.
"Hey!" Sora snapped as he was ready to leap at Aiden before the smug Maverick grinned and pressed a button. Causing the Guardians to be beamed back up to their ship.
"Sleep tight Sea Breeze." Aiden's voice was heard before the lights were gone and the team was back on board the Starburst.
Ariel shook her head in amusement before getting up from her chair and jumping onto her new bed like a giddy little girl. She found it so soft and comfortable. Then she curled up in bed, grabbing her pillow, and immediately went to sleep.
Sebastian, who's been mostly silent at this point, sighed and blew out the candle before jumping off the dresser and climbed onto the bed. He walked up to Ariel and began patting her hair with an exasperated smile.
"Hm. You are hopeless child. You know dat? Completely hopeless . . ." Sebastian said quietly before climbing onto the pillow and went to sleep himself.
THAT'S ALL FOR NOW FOLK!
As you can tell I went with mostly the film version of The Little Mermaid as much as possible. While keeping it just a little bit close to the game. The next chapter will be ready soon.

Also if you're wondering. Yes. I was inspired by the scene in Thor (2011) when Odin banished Thor from Asgard for the part at wrote where King Triton banished the Guardians. Rest assured if you've seen the Little Mermaid and played Kingdom Hearts II. You know this will be resolved in the story.
And as for Ariel's blue dress that Aiden made for her. It was the same blue dress she wore at the end of the film when she turned human again. Only just a little bit shorter without the sparkles.
"Beggers can't be chooser." Maverick deadpanned.
