KO, Fink, and Dahlia were in a clearing of the Danger Zone, all of its dangerous contents surrounding the three of them. KO gave Dahlia back the Death Note Combo had, since he gave up ownership and KO was the one holding onto it he became the owner. But that's all about to change.
"I renounce full ownership of this Death Note."
Dahlia swiped it out of his hand, "You better know what you're doing KO, I don't trust people so easily." she said before flying away.
'Okay, so long as I have ownership of Fink's Death Note then my awareness of Dahlia will remain' KO thought to himself, Fink then looked back at the base of a cliff 'Dahlia, I promise that I'll find a way to reunite you with Combo... I hope'. "Never thought the notebook would have ever wound up here, then again this story is essentially a rewrite of a great anime with cartoon characters."
"Fink, once you hear the following words 'Get rid of it', no matter the context, I want you to act like I'm relinquishing ownership of the Death Note. Right now I'm only hiding it, meaning its still my property. But once I say those 4 little words, no matter what." KO ordered.
"You sure this will work?" Fink asked, hoping that she can just his mind about this whole plan.
"Probably not, but I don't know what else to do." KO shrugged, to be honest he was also a little scared. "But hopefully if all goes well, we'll see each other again."
Fink then hugged KO, "Before you do this, can we have one last bit of... passionate fornication?"
"That would be nice." KO said before he and Fink started to make out with each other, the thunder storms, sand worms, and lightning doing nothing to deter their hormones, hopefully this won't be the last time they'll ever share this type of passion.

Combo finally awoke, but what was going on? He couldn't see anything, "Uh, excuse me but... whoever you are, where am I?" the task force seemed confused at the question, "Look as much as I love my fans, this weird game you have going on has gone on a little too long. So can you just let me go?"
"Okay, first he doesn't speak for days, then he begs for death, and now he's playing dumb?" Enid recounts the cyborg's actions since he was incarcerated.
"And we were making so much progress, too." Elodie scratched her head.
Dendy hummed, "When I asked POINT to arrest him, I told them to make sure he knows he's being arrested on suspicions of being Kira Beta. They said he put up no fight, almost like he was giving up. But why now does he feign ignorance?" Dendy grabbed the microphone.
"Combo?"
"Yes weird stalker fan?"
"Before you passed out, you never spoke a single word then asked me to kill you. But now you're claiming ignorance?"
"But weren't you the ones who knocked me out and brought me here? Sorry, but I think I'm a little too young for whatever interrogation roleplay you're into."
Dendy just stared at the captive cyborg on the silver screen, "Do you know why I'm detaining you here? I'm sure you have even the slightest idea."
"Because I'm a small adorable cyborg and I'm #1 on the Top 20 Rising Heroes of 201XX?" he guessed with as much adorable curiosity as he can muster in his state. "That's what every other stalker that has tried to take me home with them has said, though this particular situation seems slightly different from the others."
Ben growled at this as he grabbed the mic, "HEY COMBO! NO ONE'S BUYING WHAT YOU'RE SELLING SO CUT THE ACT!" his shouting making Combo squeak and squirm on the table his head was on.
Raven pulled Ben away as Dendy resumed Good Cop, "Combo, back to the conversation we had. Do you remember KO? If so why did you approach him?"
Combo wondered, "Huh? Sure, why would I forget the hero I'm the sidekick of?"
This raised even more eyebrows, "Sidekick?" Rad questioned.
'He was so tight lipped about it, now he's admitting he is KO's sidekick? Second when did KO get a sidekick? Something's fishy here' As Dendy pondered this, she got a call on her phone. On the ID she saw it was KO, she quickly answered it after ordering Radford to turn off the audio and video "Yes, KO? ... Uh huh... oh... okay, see you soon." she hung up the call, "KO's coming over here now."
"He is?" Carol perked up at this.
Soon enough KO arrived, the room was completely silent. Not even a cricket's chirp was heard, until KO spoke "Dendy, like I said over the phone...

"WHAT!?" Carol exclaimed, Gar gasped, Remy spit out the juice she was drinking, Enid and Rad lost all color, Elodie shook, Ben and Raven were stunned, Garnet grimaced. But the most stunned was Dendy, she didn't want to believe but after hearing it live in person...
Carol grabbed her boy and started shaking him, "KO what are you talking about!? How could you even say such words?!
Dendy saw this and thought 'We don't have any real proof that you're Kira Omega KO, so why come here and announce you could be Kira Omega? Wait, there's no could about it. You are Kira Omega, I can't hide from it anymore. But what do you look to accomplish from this?'
KO looked away from his desperate mother, "Mom, if Dendy is D then its safe to say she's the greatest detective to have ever lived. And right now she seems very adamant about me being Kira Omega, we know that D's never been wrong before."
"KO! What are you saying?" Carol demanded an answer.
"Yeah KO, you can't be Kira Omega! You just can't!" Enid let out as she was about to cry, the boy she saw as her own little brother since she first met him now saying he could be that murderer they're trying to capture? Its just not possible! The Winja and alien refused to believe it.
"Think about it, I was in Neo riot on the 19th AND I'm the first person in Lakewood Combo, the alleged Kira Beta, approached." KO explained as he gently removed his mom's hands from his person, "Also, I'm the top hero in the world and the son of highly respected POINT vets so I have accessed to all the confidential info of the criminals he's killed. If I were in Dendy's shoes I'd come to the same conclusion."
"But-" KO silenced his mother.
"You see, subconsciously I might be Omega. I may just be him and not even know it, he could be like my other half and I wouldn't even know it. Like Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hide, or Professor Venomous and Shadowy Figure before they turned into Shadowy Venomous." KO theorized as he looked at his hands, imagining them with the blood of Omega's victims though a lot of them died of heart attacks.
'Ah, so you're not conscious of it all huh? Is that what you're getting at' Dendy thought to herself.
"Who knows, this other me could be killing people while I'm asleep-"
"I'm afraid that's not the case." Dendy interrupted KO, "I never told you this, but for a time we installed security cameras and wiretaps in your house."
"You installed cameras!" KO exclaimed in mock shock.
She nodded "In that brief time, every night you slept like a baby. You also drooled a couple times." she explained. "Criminals who's names were broadcasted kept dying in that period as well, even if you had no way of knowing about them. Still that doesn't exactly prove your innocence to me. All it proved was that if you were Kira Omega, no amount of surveillance will reveal that fact."
"Won't reveal that fact, huh?" she really is good, KO sighed before combing a hand through his hair. "I don't know, it could be true. I mean, lately I've been thinking that some criminals deserve to die. Actually, I've been feeling this way for a long time now." Carol, Rad and Enid all frowned in worry, KO confided in them of his frustrations but they thought it wasn't related to this case. Carol recalled how he came to her with the question about killing bad guys before all this, she dared not to bring it up cause it wouldn't look good for KO. KO looked down, "If I can think like Kira Omega, who's to say I can't be him? How can I call myself a hero if I have the same thoughts as a murderer?" he questioned, his voice a mixture of fear and sadness.
"Hold on KO!" Ben spoke up before he approached his friend, "I know how you feel, lately I've been thinking that there are some people the world will be better off without. But that doesn't mean we're gonna start killing people, besides the murders were still happening while you had no knowledge of them. Didn't the cameras prove it?"
Raven shook her head, "Not really, because we were short on investigators we only watched him while he was at home. Truth is we weren't able to watch him every second of the day, meaning he could have found a way to kill while he wasn't home." she knew she had to stay undercover, but this made her feel awful.
Dendy picked up her coffee, 'This was all planned, there's no way you choosing to do this now is coincidence. If we incarcerated you like we did Combo, and criminals are still dying after their names were broadcasted then it would lead us to think your innocent. Is that how you envision this going?' Everyone turned to the kappa for a solution.
She took a breath, "I hate to have to do this, but what option do I have?" she downed her coffee, "Lets do it."
The group sans KO gasped.
"I need you to fully restrain KO, and put him in... (gulp) solitary confinement."
"WHAT!? NO!" Carol snapped.
"You want us to... confine him?" Enid questioned. Garnet barely held it together as her vision was playing out.
"If we're gonna do this, it must be done immediately. From now on you go nowhere I can't see you." Dendy said.
"THIS IS BULLCRAP!" Carol shouted, Gar thankfully covered Remy's ears at the C-word "There's no way my son is Kira Omega, he's not a murderer! It's not like him at all!"
KO placed a hand on his mom's shoulder to get her to stop, "Mom, its okay."
"Bu-"
"Mom! Something must be done, I can't work with any of you as long as I have this doubts plaguing my mind." he faced Dendy, "Den, promise me that no matter what, unless you can say with 100% certainty as D that I'm not Kira Omega, you can't release me. Regardless of what I say or what condition I may be, you don't let me go unless D is convinced."
Dendy died inside as she said, "You have my word."
"KO?" Carol's eyes started to water as she faced her son, "Is this really what you want?"
KO sighed as he looked away from his mother, "No, but it must be done. I believe I can defeat this fear inside me if I give up my freedom, its the only way." KO then felt his hand getting tugged, he opened his eyes to see his sister's pleading eyes.
"Don't go."
KO lowered down to Remy's level, "Rem, I promise this won't be long. Just be a good girl, and do everything the adults say. Okay?"
The little girl sniffled before nodding.
KO was then handcuffed and blindfolded, "Raven, Ben. Take him away." Dendy ordered, much to everyone's including her own, dismay. The omnitrix user and half-demon escorted KO out of the room.
Once they were in the elevator, Raven whispered into his ear "Are you sure you wanna do this KO?" Garnet already told her about his plan last night, she was hoping that she can reason with him out of it. By that I mean try to break him out of confinement. "If you give up your Death Note, not only you but everyone who has touched it will have their memories erased."
"That's what I'm counting on, Raven." KO whispered back.
"Will this plan even work?" Ben silently asked.
"Let's hope."
