Chapter 23: Warpath

3rd Person POV

No one made a move as Frank generates an ominous aura.

No, that's not right…

No one dares to move because of the overwhelming force that is emanating from his body. It's as if he is creating his own gravity, crushing everything around him.

"What do we do?" Sakura asks as Frank simply stares at nothing with an unreadable expression.

"No matter what I do, my instincts wouldn't calm down." Taiga states. "If I try to get even close to him, I might die…"

"Frank…" Medusa calls out.

"..." Frank says nothing, not even listening to his friends crying his name.

"We have to find Illya, but the problem is we don't know where she's been taken." Caster said.

"Can't you locate her through her residual mana?" Rin asked.

Caster shakes her head, "I've tried, but something is blocking my ability to find her."

"I know where she is."

Everyone suddenly sees an object coming down from the sky and crashing on the plaza like a meteorite. As the dust dissipates, it is revealed to be a woman with pale complexion, yellow eyes, and cut short white-blond hair wearing a black armor under an even darker dress along with a black tiara. She has a sword strapped on her waist and holds a massive flag with the outline of a dragon on it.

Next to her is a woman identical to her except that she has a fair complexion, and long blond hair that she keeps braided. She is the same battle dress though hers is purple and silver. She carries a flag though this one has a cross rather than a dragon. Her eyes are gold like the other Servants.

No one says anything as the group stares at the two newcomers. They seem… different than the other Servants they've fought before, especially the dark one.

She's… dangerous.

From within the miasma, Frank stares at the two newcomers unsure at how to handle this.

Servant Avenger

True Name: Jeanne d'Arc (Alter)

Strength: A

Endurance: C

Agility: A

Mana: A+

Luck: E

NP: A+

[Note: A Heroic Spirit that is an exact opposite of the proper Jeanne, she was created by Gilles de Rais, the French Army's marshal who grieved for Jeanne d'Arc's death, using the Holy Grail shortly after the execution of Jeanne in 1431. She has been dyed by vengeance and holds no kindness or trust towards anyone, even to those she would call comrades. For some odd reason, Alter Ego has let this one retail her free will.]

EMIYA traces Kanshou and Bakuya. "Who are you?"

"I am Servant Avenger and…" Her voice became strained "the other one here is Ruler."

EMIYA's eyes widen. Avenger!? There's another Avenger in the Holy Grail War!? And Ruler, too!? How is that possible!? And another thing, why do both of them look identical!? Are they twins?

"..." Frank simply stares at the duo.

"So… you know where she is?" Shirou asked.

Jalter looks at Shirou and smiles, a smile full of cruelty. "Yes, let me show you." She dashes at the boy, but before she can attack her body twists and is hurled into a wall.

Everyone turns to see Frank with his hand out, looking at the Servant with a blank expression. Jeanne rushes with her flag tip aimed at him only to suddenly stop, like someone has pressed the pause button. His hand twists and as it did so did Jeanne's. Everyone is left bewildered as the Ruler-class Servant's body twists in ways that should not be possible as her bones make cracking noises. Suddenly, something that looks to be a dragon's skull appears floating right next to him. The skull mouth opens and blasts Jeanne with pure magical energy, leaving nothing but a burning flag and ashes.

"Wow…" Shirou says, eyes widened at the sight "that was-"

"Brutal?" Rin said.

"Efficient." EMIYA said.

"Unlike him." Shirou finished.

Jalter pulls herself out of the rubble, only to see Frank staring at her and a pile of ashes next to him. The way he looks at her, it is like staring at the abyss.

And the abyss is staring back!

With no other option, Jalter leaps high and vanishes from sight; like a coward. Frank sees this and he disappears as well, leaving everyone else behind.

"Where did he go!?" Rin exclaimed.

Shirou looks down and notices his Command Seal glowing, "...I think I know where he's going."

"God Dammit!" Jalter yells.

Jalter dashes through the ruins; she must get as far away as possible. "That guy, no, that thing!" She hissed. She remembers the look on his face, the look of someone who holds no compassion or mercy towards anyone and sees his opponents dead. That's when she sees a group of Laḫmus in front of her, "finally, something useful."

But as she gets closer, her eyes widen in fear as she sees what's really in front of her. The flock of Laḫmus are nothing more than statues, grey and completely lifeless. A gust of wind sets in and blows the grey statues away reducing to nothing but a black powder.

As they crumble, a hand shoots and grabs Jalter by the throat, slowly and painfully squeezing it. She looks down and sees Frank glaring at her; he wants nothing but her death.

"Before I kill you, answer me this question." Frank asked her, his expression never changing. "Where is Illya?"

Jalter, in an act of defiance, activates her Noble Phantasm that devours Frank completely. However, all they manage to do is annoy him further and so he slams her body into the ground so hard that force creates a crater underneath.

"GAHH!" Jalter coughs up blood as her bones are broken upon impact.

"I'll ask again, where is Illya?" Frank asks again in the same tone.

Jatler coughs up more blood as she struggles to look at him. "I don't know!" She cries out. "We were supposed to grab her but someone managed to beat us to her. I don't know where she is!"

"..." Frank says nothing as he stares at the twisted version of the Holy Virgin for any sights of deceit. Seeing none, he lets her go and walks away.

Jalter coughs as air begins to flow into her lungs, "you… you're letting me go?"

Frank ignores her question as he walks away. He doesn't bother to acknowledge her screams as spears sprout from the ground like trees and pierce Jalter all over her body.

"I have to say Emiya-kun, out of everywhere you could have taken us, why in the world did you think he would be here?"

The group have just arrived at the edge of the crater where Mount Enzou formerly stood, now there is nothing but puddles of that black substance and at the center if it is the tower that sprouted from the remains of the mountain.

"It just makes sense; if Illya was kidnapped she will be here." Shirou sumized. In the end, this is their intended destination, however, the enemy Servants and the monsters made it difficult to approach the tower. Immediately upon setting foot in this twisted domain, a legion of Laḫmus come down from the sky and rush at the group, but it is Medusa who surprises them all. She suddenly runs her nail through her arm and as she bleeds a magic circle begins to form in front of her. The magic circle activates and begins to drain the life force of the Laḫmus in sight, causing some of them to break down and turn into nothing but blood puddles. However, a Laḫmu isn't affected and manages to get in front of her but Cu̒ Chulainn kills it before it can attack.

With more Laḫmus coming towards them, Medea takes to the skies with multiple magic circles appearing in front of her. She blasts the monsters with a barrage of pure concentrated magical energy, rendering them to dust. The Masters also help as Rin and Sakura combine their power to shoot down some of them while Shirou protects them with his specialized magecraft. Souichirou, through enchantments given to him by his Servant, is able to effectively and efficiently kill all obstacles in front of him. Bodies of Laḫmus fly high into the sky as Taiga tears them apart from below using her monstrous strength given to her by the warrior god sealed within her (maybe).

Unfortunately, despite their efforts it just isn't enough. The more they killed, the more they seemed to appear.

"Dammit, they just keep coming." EMIYA groans as he traces a multitude of swords and shoots them at high speeds, impaling the monsters. But just as the bodies break down, more of the bastards come to take their place.

Sakura, unable to muster any more mana for Rin, collapses on the ground.

"Sakura!" Rin yells and tries to help her sister up, but as she takes her eyes away from the battle one of the Laḫmus sneaks up in front of her.

The monster raising its blade arm… only to be blasted by a red beam of light.

The Tohsaka sisters are left shocked at the sudden attack. They look back to see a familiar figure walking towards them.

Frank spreads his arms and as he did, seven skeletal hands with holes on their palms appear behind him. The hands are glowing with a variety of colors: red, purple, green, yellow, cyan, blue, and orange.

Two hands float forward: the cyan and blue. From its fingertips the cyan hand conjures strings of pure magic that wrap themselves around the Laḫmus; one for each finger. The blue hand creates two saw-like constructs and launches at the impaired monsters, tearing them apart. The yellow hand fires magic bullets in succession from the hole in its palm, blasting through their bodies killing them instantly. From behind, a couple of Laḫmus try to strike but their attacks merely bounce off as a green barrier surrounds Frank. The green hand blinks and a barrier instantly traps the Laḫmus as it encroaches and crushes them. However, despite this, more monsters begin to come out of the black pools like clockwork. With seemingly no end to this, the best course of action is to destroy the threat at its source.

White-like pallets, small enough to fit in your mouth, float above the puddles of black ooze with Laḫmus forming inside. The orange hand blinks and the white pallets change color, immediately detonating. The resulting explosions cause the black ooze to evaporate, effectively ending the army of Laḫmus.

The group is awestruck by how quick he managed to destroy the Laḫmus without much an issue. Frank walks towards them, still sporting that unsettling blank expression on his face, "are you all okay?"

The group nods and Frank lets out a sigh, letting his anger subside a little.

"What happened to that Servant you went after?" EMIYA asked.

"I took care of her." Frank replies instantly. "Anyways, I know that Illya is somewhere here."

"How do you know that?" Medea asked.

"Because that's what I would do." Frank said and quickly vanished.

Frank arrives at the foot of the tower itself. An eerie silence greets him only to be broken by the sounds metal clashing against metal. He sees two figures fighting… until one of them manages to get the upper hand and cut one of their opponents arms off. The victor wastes no time and stabs their weakened foe in the chest; a sure kill.

"NO!"

Frank turns to the voice and sees Illya in distraught. Was it because of that person? As the body falls, he sees the one responsible for Illya's current state. He is a man with a shaven hair-style, a duller skin tone, and golden eyes. His outfit consists of black sleeves with golden accents ending in thick metal manacles, black pants with a weave pattern, and white boots. He is holding what seems to be a modified version of Kanshou and Bakuya now being bayonet handguns instead of twin swords. What is most alarming is his expression, it's… wrong.

It's like someone or something had hollowed him out, leaving only a literal shadow of who this person was.

Servant Archer

True Name: EMIYA Alter (Shirou Emiya)

Strength: C

Endurance: B

Agility: D

Mana: B

Luck: E

NP: ?

[Note: Not a man who sought and failed to become a Hero of Justice, but a disgraced, heartless executioner who has cast aside his own name. His memories are damaged, and his past is similarly lost. The man has forsaken morality, and scorned the bonds of affection—sneering at himself who has become as a dead man walking as he continues along his way. He is a machine in every sense, believing he is nothing more than a living weapon to be used and disposed of as his Master sees fit]

Frank's face loses color as he processes this revelation; this is too much. Standing in front of him is another Shirou Emiya. A Shirou Emiya who lost everything, his ideals, his friends, even his identity.

A man who forgets…

A killing machine.

How will EMIYA react when he sees what is possibly his future self!? Scratch that, how will Shirou react to this!? He is already having a hard time accepting the red Servant as anything remotely like him, and the presence of another EMIYA will probably tear him apart.

But before anyone does anything, EMIYA Alter raises his arm and aims at Illya.

He squeezes the trigger.

"Get away from her!" Frank rushes at the Servant, with the red hand firing a beam of magical energy. EMIYA Alter stares at the incoming attack and swiftly dodges it, now taking his sights on Frank. He aims the modified Kanshou at Frank and fires, but the bullet is deflected by a green barrier. In a blink, Frank banishes and suddenly appears in front of the blackened Servant before delivering a punch square in his face.

EMIYA Alter barely even flinches at the punch, like he didn't even feel it. He takes his guns and tries to fire at point-blank, but Frank anticipates this and leaps back. However, this is EMIYA's plan all along as he moves to shoot Illya again but before purple constructs are thrown at him, forcing to dodge.

"Your fight is with me, asshole. If you aim your weapons at her again, I'll make you see hell." Frank growls, rainbow-tinted eyes emanating a dangerous glow.

EMIYA Alter isn't even listening, his mind working on ways to defeat his opponent. He is aware of his emotional attachment to the woman; the kink in his defense.

An easy target.

He raises Kanshou as black flames surround him, "I am the Bone of My-" The blackened Servant never finishes his chant as Frank grabs his weapons.

"I don't think so." Frank growls as he easily crushes Kanshou and Bakuya. He then proceeds to deliver blow after blow after blow, each one more heavier than the last.

E. Alter traces another set of guns and Frank follows suit, summoning Jackal and Cascull. They both attempt to get a clear shot but they each push their hands away making them miss. Frank and E. Alter point their guns directly at the barrel on each weapon and the synched trigger pull causes the both of them to be blown away by the recoil.

Frank dismisses his twin guns and summons Yamato. The twisted Servant of the Bow fires his guns but each shot is deflected by Frank's blade as he charges with extreme prejudice. He brings his sword down but Alter manages to block it with the blades on his guns.

"...!" EMIYA Alter grunts as he is being pushed back.

The deadlock broke and the two fought even harder than before. Frank gets an opening and delivers a powerful haymaker, sending the enemy Servant crashing through a ruined building. E. Alter digs himself out of the wall and traces a series of weapons in the sky and then launches them at supersonic speeds,

Only for them to be encased in a massive distortion of space and every sword is sliced to bits. EMIYA Alter is caught inside and is almost torn apart by consecutive sword slashes; the only reason he is still alive is due to last-minute Reinforcement.

Dying and bleeding from every part of his body, E. Alter uses every ounce mana he can muster to heal… not noticing the angry god looking down on him as if staring at an ant.

He raises Yamato and brings it down to end the madness.

.

.

.

.

.

But the blade is caught by EMIYA Alter as his eyes emit a yellowish glow. They both stare at each other like statues until Alter's body explodes with magical energy, forcing Frank back.

The corrupted Servant of the Bow is now seen wearing a waistcoat but with no sleeve and has now golden lines of corruption appearing all over his body. He vanishes from sight and Frank suddenly doubles over as two slashes appear on his chest. In his hands are Kanshou and Bakuya, now back to their sword form except that they now have an empty cavity where the Yin and Yang symbol should be.

Frank soon stands as his body heals, now glaring daggers at the wayward executioner. He doesn't understand why, but for some reason the more he stares at him, the angrier he becomes. He takes a second to glance at Illya, who is cradling the body of the person who tried to protect her. But what draws me in is what on her face.

She is crying.

He made Illya cry!

Anger doesn't even begin to describe what Frank is feeling right now. A black-like fog begins to appear, covering his body completely obscuring him from sight.

"AAAAAAAAAARGH!" Frank cries out like a wild beast.

E. Alter growls in annoyance, for some reason, he can no longer discern his features and now sees what can only be described as a double image. He tightens his grip on Kanshou and Bakuya and disappears like before.

Frank merely has a second to look up before the enemy brings down his swords on top of him. The force from the crash is enough to leave a crater where Frank was. However, it is soon revealed that Frank managed to block the incoming attack with his sword.

It appears to be a massive sword with a heavy double-edged blade, notched on both sides near the tip. The grip is plain, but has an interwoven pattern. The guard is skeletal, with a skull-design on each side leading to the rib cage from which the blade emerges; on one side of the blade, the skull is that of a human, while the other has horns coming out of its sockets. The blade also has swirling patterns reminiscent of pattern-welded "Damascus" steel, with the pattern darker and more noticeable on the "demon" side, and has a slight rainbow-colored sheen to it.

However, the enemy Servant does not see this as the sword is enveloped in the same fog as Frank, making it impossible to identify with a glance. Frank uses his strength to push E. Alter high into the sky only to then shortly follow him. The two fight in the sky as gravity quickly kicks in as they both descend back to the earth.

EMIYA Alter doesn't believe this, his opponent cannot be this powerful. He is determined to beat, no, to kill him. Why?

Because of some woman?

He just couldn't understand.

"GAAAAAAARGH!" Frank roars out as he throws wave after wave of pure demonic energy at his enemy. EMIYA staggers back and in a last effort, he connects Kanshou & Bakuya at their pommels to create a dual-bladed melee staff and quickly charges towards him.

Only for Frank to suddenly grab him by the neck in the blink of an eye and summons his bone-like hands to restrain him to the ground.

"!" Tried as he might, the blackned Servant of the Bow could move his body or muster any strength as if it was completely drained. He can also stare as Frank raises his sword to his throat.

"STOP!"

Frank stops right as he is about to cleave his head, as if he is being forced to stop. Turning to look, EMIYA Alter could see a boy with Commands Seals in his hand with one of them glowing brightly until it fades completely. Eventually, the rest of his allies appear only and are shocked at the sight in front of them though Alter is more focused on the red-haired boy.

He looks familiar... but from where?

Seeing an opportunity, EMIYA Alter vanishes.

Frank lowers his weapon and blankly stares at the group. Medusa walks towards him, though the black fog seems to be obscuring his features it is obviously him. She takes her and cups his cheek. "That's enough… you can stop now."

Slowly, the black fog begins to disappear revealing a familiar face underneath.

Medusa smiles, "you had me worried."

Frank gives her an apologetic look. "I'm sorry…"

"Don't do this again."

Frank gives her a light kiss. "I won't; promise." Suddenly, Frank's eyes widened in realization, "Illya!"

They run towards where Illya is and see that everyone is already by her side. The Servants are on guard in case for any sign of deceit, much to Illya's plea that he can be trusted. He wears black body armor with a red hood alongside bandages that cover his face completely. His right arm is missing and his chest has been run through, however, a major detail that everyone notices is his body breaking down, slowly turning into dust.

Despite this, Frank can still see the stats of this Servant… it made him grit my teeth in anger.

Servant Assassin

True Name: EMIYA (Kiritsugu Emiya)

Strength: D

Endurance: C

Agility: A+

Mana: B

Luck: E (EX)

NP: B++

[Note: He is not a Heroic Spirit despite his deeds in life but an "imitation", a Counter Guardian, due to the threat that attempts to destroy all of humanity. Much like Archer, Kiritsugu's memories have suffered fragmentation though he seems to vaguely recognize Illya and Shirou]

'Dammit, is Alter trying to torture them with this?' Frank thought.

Illya looks at Medea, "can't you help him?"

The Servant of Spells can only shake her head, "his Spirit Origin is already past the point I could fix it with my magic."

Illya whimpers and cries; Assassin's deterioration has reached his torso.

Shirou kneels next to Assassin, "thank you for keeping my sister safe."

Assassin's eyes open and his head slowly turns to face him. "S-Shirou…" A distorted voice called out his name.

Shirou and EMIYA's eyes widen at the sound of Assassin's voice, but… it can't be…

"I-I'm sorry…" Assassin began. "I didn't want you to be involved in magecraft, I wanted you to live a normal life… but it seems my past came back to haunt you."

"..." Shirou says nothing, still shocked at who this person truly is.

Assassin slowly turns to Illya. "Illya, you've grown so much. I'm so happy…"

Illya wipes away her tears, but she can't... she just can't.

Assassin's body is almost completely gone. "Listen… that thing is trying to summon something, using the Holy Grail as a catalyst. You need to get the top of Corbenic and stop Iri… before it's too late." He looks at the tower, "I tried to stop them but Alter had some kind of fail-safe on this body… in the end, I couldn't protect her…"

Tears begin to fall from Shirou's face. "Don't worry, I'll save her… you can rest easy old man."

Under the bandages, Assassin is smiling. "I see, I'm relieved." With that, Assassin's body breaks down completely, feeling content after all the pain he had to endure.

Everyone mourns at the man who wanted to protect his family. Illya and Shirou continue to cry while Taiga tries to comfort them while also crying herself. EMIYA looks away but silently mourns for Assassin, despite not remembering much of his past, a part of him still cares for the man he used to see as his father.

After some time, everyone is ready to end this nightmare. "Let's go."

There is no stopping them now.

Noble Phantasms used:

La Grondement Du Haine: Roar, My Fury (A+) Anti-Army Noble Phantasm

The cursed flag possessed by Jeanne who descended as the Dragon Witch. It stops the enemy's attack in the same way as Saint Jeanne's Noble Phantasm, but this Noble Phantasm also swells up that attack, before it reflects it back. Also, its power will increase even more if her allies and the likes die. Then, whether it is a slashing attack, a striking attack, or on top of that, a hit by means of a curse, all of it will in the same way be converted into her physical attack power when they are halted by the Noble Phantasm.

The flag can release flames with performance resembling a first-rate Dragon's breath. Under the name of an avenger, Jeanne Alter kindles the flames and transforms the grudges from herself and the surroundings into magical energy, burning the opponents' injustice, corruption and self-righteousness up to the marrow of their bones to ashes. Furthermore, the stake was stuck into her image. Personally for her, "I was attached to… uh, something jagged… and made of steel, and a harsh impression of it remains with me!", and this impression allows her to create these stakes in her image for her own use.

Blood Fort Andromeda: Outer-Seal - Blood Temple (B) Anti-Army Noble Phantasm

The Temple of Blood that surrounded the Shapeless Isle which was the home of Medusa and her sisters, turning it into a palace of darkness, dyed crimson from blood, where the sun didn't shine. The temple, known to petrify those who embark on the island and devour them, was a boundary field constructed by the Mystic Eyes Medusa possessed. By magnification of the Mystic Eyes' projection, a fixed conceptual field is substituted into "the inside of her eyes", and the life force of those inside it is plundered. An absorption power that literally "dissolves the body" of ordinary persons without any Magic Resistance. Even Heroic Spirits will have their life force plundered as long as they are inside the barrier. Medusa is able to implement it as a Bounded Field of blood that she uses to primarily absorb magical energy by dissolving any caught live humans and reducing them into red blood and organic ooze. Using her blood as a material component, she sets up a number of sources around an area, taking the form of magic circles placed as predetermined points, to slowly build up energy without leaving a single trace of her existence. It is impossible for Rin to completely destroy it as new circles constantly appear and old ones are restored. She can only delay its operation date by constantly removing as many circles as possible. It takes over ten days to completely store enough energy to activate the full power of the field, but it can still be activated at any time once the foundations are complete. It damages the leylines of the area once it is completely set up, so it cannot be reactivated on the same land twice in succession. It leaves a general listless feeling around the area, and Shirou senses the barrier by seeing an image of the area covered with membranes and the people looking like empty dolls while smelling the sweet scent of honey from an insectivorous plant.

Victims within the barrier are quickly dissolved into blood as if they were inside a stomach upon activation, and its magical energy is given to either Medusa or her Master. Those with a proper amount of magical energy or with knowledge of thaumaturgy are able to resist the Bounded Field, such as a Servant or a magus respectively, but those without any are instantly drained. Even then magus can only resist Blood Fort Andromeda for a short amount of time. Thus, it is not a Noble Phantasm to be used for combat, but rather a Bounded Field created by Medusa to efficiently gather blood to drink for mana. If the Bounded Field is activated without the proper energy, it can take up to a number of minutes to completely dissolve the victims.

Monotone: The Seven Traits of a Soul (A) Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm

Works alongside Chromas. Allows the user to create a total of hands empowered the major personality traits found in a soul:

Red (Determination) - Creates a blast of pure energy

Cyan (Patience) - Creates strings that can trap opponents

Orange (Bravery) - Creates pallets that will detonate when they turn orange

Blue (Integrity) - Creates saw-like constructs

Purple (Perseverance) - Can blast opponents as well as create purple bones

Green (Kindness) - Heals allies as well as protect them with a barrier

Yellow (Justice) - Shoots opponents in succession

Unlimited Lost Works: The Void Creation of Swords (E~A++) ?

Although the "Infinite Creation of Swords" is one amongst the crowning achievements attained across the lifetime of a certain magus, this particular version of the Reality Marble - comprised of those weapons he witnessed that bore the Concept of "Sword", aggregated in their entirety - is made to manifest within the opponent's flesh by certain means. The minuscule Reality Marble becomes an incredible force, shredding the target from within.

For Someone's Glory: Not For One's Own Glory (B) Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm

A black fog that conceals the owner's identity and status similarly to Excalibur's Invisible Air. The mist-like illusion also causes his image to double or triple randomly, making him appear to be a hallucination, and prevents the use of a Master's clairvoyance to read the status of Berserker. The only information visible on official materials are the Servant's Master's name, height, weight, alignment, class abilities, and Skills. His True Name, sex, personal status, and Noble Phantasms are out of focus and unable to be clearly viewed.

The ability has degraded from its true usage to an "imitation" that can only disguise his identity due to the application of Mad Enhancement. It is possible to make use of the true ability one single time with the use of a Command Spell, though the transformation still has the appearance of being under Mad Enhancement. The ability is used to take on Rider's appearance to make Saber believe that Rider kidnapped Irisviel von Einzbern. The appearance is identical with the exception of Berserker's blood-red eyes radiating resentment. The ability is completely sealed along with the Knight of Owner once Arondight is drawn by Berserker.

Rebellion: The Union of Two Forces (EX) Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm

A dark-sword forged by a legendary demon knight who sought to protect humanity rather than conquer them. As such, it is far sharper than ordinary blades, and is imbued with tremendous demonic power. It is also one of the most durable objects ever created, capable of withstanding hits from its sibling, the space-cutting blade Yamato. Rebellion's true power is tied to its wielder and can only be awakened through its wielder's blood.

Phantasm Punishment: Mystery Bisection (C+) Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm

The manifestation of Kiritsugu Emiya's Origin that has the double attribute of "Severing and Binding", its power put into a knife and sublimated as a Noble Phantasm of the Counter Guardian EMIYA. It is the same knife he uses for his usual time manipulation attacks, his Origin made form and the knife being the embodiment of it. It inflicts fatal damage towards enemies that possess magic circuits and magic crests or anything similar inside their bodies. The ability is invoked according to its True Name release.

Chronos Rose: Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May (B) Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm

The Noble Phantasm of the Counter Guardian EMIYA based on the unique Innate Time Control (Time Alter) ability of Kiritsugu Emiya that he had possessed in life as a technique improved for combat, sublimated into a Noble Phantasm. Based upon his personal variation of Time Manipulation, his family line's magical research that was transmitted to him, it allows him to control his inner flow of time, utilizing high-speed attacks and maneuvers by accelerating the flow of time, and concealing himself by slowing time to stagnate his biorhythms. With it possessing power as a Noble Phantasm, he is able to utilize extreme consecutive attacks to the point where he can be described as being invincible in anti-personnel combat

Chromas is a special type of magic that allows the user to use a bit of magic with each trait known.

Corbenic is the name of the Grail castle, the edifice housing the Holy Grail in Arthurian legend. It is a magical domain of the Grail keeper, often known as the Fisher King. The castle's descriptions vary greatly in different sources, and it first appears by that name in the Lancelot-Grail cycle where it is also the birthplace of Galahad.

Author Notes

Finally done with this! There's one more chapter left for this story; personally I am very excited. The reason why this chapter is in third-person POV is because I wanted to portray the MC from how others look at him rather than a self image. A man so angry that he is on a warpath to find his significant other and will stop at nothing to do just that. Now, this chapter came out rushed, I know that I didn't give Kiritsugu much of a role, but I think I did well with this. The d'Arc twins (and yes that's what I'm calling them) were nothing but cannon fodder to show why you don't screw with the MC. If you guys have a better on how this could have gone down.

Leave a comment/review and tell what you think.

Peace~
