Hello people, and welcome back to Highschool of the Dead: Resurrection. I've got some bad news for all of you...this is the last arc I will be writing. I wish I could write more, but sometimes the well of creativity just runs dry on you, even for me. But the good news is that the date I happen to have written this message on is April 1st, aka...April Fool's Day. Now, are all of you're ready for more zombie massacres, raise you hand...just like I thought.

During the massacre at the motorpool, Saeko and Rei went down the street, occasionally stopping to butcher a small group of zombies, with each one of them taking turns lunging forward to sever heads and split skulls.

"It never fails to amaze me how much that naginata suits you." Saeko said before Rei stabbed a zombie through the face.

"Thank you very much." Rei said with a smirk before flicking the zombie to the side.

"Just out of curiosity, how much ammo do you have?" Saeko asked, and Rei leaned her naginata against a nearby car, and checked her bag.

"Four clips." She said.

"So do I actually, so we should make them count if need be." Saeko said.

"Right, but until then..." Rei trailed off before brandishing her naginata with a smirk before they walked off.

"May I ask how much you've maintained it?" Saeko asked, and Rei rolled her eyes in thought.

"Uh...I really haven't." She said.

"Well, we can fix that if need be." Saeko said.

"I hope so; I seriously don't want this thing to break on me." Rei said.

"Nor can I blame you." Saeko said, and Rei pointed ahead.

"Hey, there it is." She said before the two ladies rushed forward, looked inside the building, saw no zombies, then went inside...before continuing to look around.

"All clear, now let's see what they have..." Saeko said, and with that, the two looked around...and they found everything they could look for. Skirts, shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants, even some more shoes, socks, and underwear. Some clothes were large enough for them, and the men in the group, some were small enough to fit Alice, some clothes were plain, while others had pictures, writing, or both on them. Eventually, Rei went to a changing both and changed into one outfit she picked above the others.

"So...how do I look?" Rei asked, and Saeko looked her over. Rei had a white blouse, a green skirt, and black leggings, in addition to the armor pieces they all had be default.

"You look almost the same as you did before." Saeko said.

"Well, I do like the color scheme, and I couldn't say no to the lack of restrictions." Rei said.

"Oh?" Saeko asked.

"I never minded the school uniforms, but it doesn't hold a candle to this." Rei said.

"I'll bet. Now, I believe it's my turn..." Saeko said before grabbing her new outfit, which turned out to be a new dark grey tank top, with the same black leggings Rei had, and changing into it within minutes.

"That's it? That's all you're wearing?" Rei asked.

"For now." Saeko said simply.

"Alright, well at least we have a good haul." Rei said.

"You even get to keep your promise to Alice." Saeko said, and Rei smirked.

"Of course I do." She said softly.

"So...shall we look around some more?" Saeko asked.

"Why not? There's a pharmacy not far from here as well." Rei said.

"Alright, lead on." Saeko said, and the two ladies went further down the road, without encountering a single zombie in the process.

"There it is." Rei said before they looked inside, and then went inside.

"Strange...there haven't been any zombies aside from that small horde we took out." Saeko said.

"I know...it's kind of creepy actually." Rei said.

"Well, let's grab whatever's here before more show up." Saeko said, and the two ladies looked around...but each time they looked through a shelf, a cabinet, a drawer, etc, the result was alwas the same.

"Figures, this place is picked clean." Rei said, then Saeko goes behind the counter checks the cabinet.

"Nothing here either." She said, and Rei sighed.

"Let's go then- Wait, There's something here." She said.

"What is it?" Saeko asked.

"Oh...they're more birth control pills." Rei said.

"Actually...can I have that?" Saeko asked.

"What? Don't tell me..." Rei trailed off, and Saeko smiled.

"Yes...me and Itachi are no longer virgins." She said.

"If someone told me you'd sleep with him three weeks ago I'd call them a nutcase." Rei said.

"I cannot say I disagree, but he's really proven himself, and then some, and as such...he's won my heart, and my bed." Saeko said.

"Well...o.k. then." Rei said before handing over the pills.

"So, I guess you and Takashi aren't much worse?" Saeko asked.

"Not at all. He's fucked me no less than three times." Rei said.

"Is he good?" Saeko teased, and Rei widened her eyes, blushed, then looked away.

"Very much so..." She breathed out, and Saeko chuckled.

"I'm happy for you. Making love is quite an experience isn't it?" She said...and then gunshots were heard.

"That can't be good..." Rei said.

"That should be where Corporal Toriyama's group is." Saeko said seriously, and Rei brandished her naginata.

"She should go help them!" She said...and then a small horde of zombies came out from the alleyways.

"First we deal with them." Saeko said before popping her gunto out of it's sheath with her thumb.

At the motorpool, the gunfire also caught Takashi and Itachi's attention, and they stopped walking towards the motorpool to look in the direction of the shots.

"Sounds like they're getting started." Takashi said, and Itachi pulled his binoculars and rushed into the middle of the street.

"There's definitely a horde of zombies...but I don't see the others down there." Itachi said.

"What? Maybe they're just not in sight yet." Takashi said.

"I don't think so...wait, those aren't our people, they're Ghosts!" Itachi said.

"Oh...shit...should we help them?" Takashi asked.

"Hell no! They're probably gunning for us, if nothing else they made it clear this city isn't big enough for the both of us." Itachi said.

"Well, forget them, let's just get back to the others." Takashi said, and the two ran back to the motorpool, and Takashi grabbed a motorcycle.

"You drive, I'll cut stuff." Itachi said as he drew his katana, and sat behind Takashi. After revving the engine a few times, Takashi drove out into the street, took to the sidewalk, then got back onto the street when they passed the zombies Itachi slaughtered. Takashi then took an alleyway to bypass the street, and once they got to the other side, Itachi had to put his katana to use on a zombie every now and then, with each swing splitting or removing a head.

With Masato's group, Kohta was braced on a car with the SAW, Saya was watching the horde through the scope of Kohta's sniper rifle, Shizuka was watching the sides and back with Alice, both respectively using the SCAR and an M4. Masato meanwhile, was holding the M32 grenade launcher in one hand, with the Remington shotgun slung over his shoulder, and of course, his M1911 and Desert Eagle still holstered. Ever keen and alert, he was watching the horde as the Ghosts in the apartment ahead gunned down the wave closest to them, from the top floor, just below the roof. However, there were screams of fear before...and after the shooting suddenly stopped.

"Those guys are dead aren't they?" Shizuka asked, before Masato raised his M32.

"Those zombies are next..." He trailed off before lobbing a grenade into the distance, and blowing a handful of them up. The rest of the zombies outside the apartment were immediately drawn to the sound and Saya began firing. Masato then put the M32 down, drew his shotgun, then charged at the horde as Saya covered him. Shizuka and Alice meanwhile spotted some zombies on the sides, and slowly but steadily took shots at them, with most shots piercing their brains.

Masato meanwhile eventually got close enough to the zombies to once again put his lack of tolerance for them on display. The moment he stopped running, he took aim, and blasted one zombie's head off of the neck it was attached to, sometimes with one shell spreading out enough to kill multiple zombies, but most shells destroying a single zombie's head beyond recognition. At one point, Masato ran out of shells, pulled his Desert Eagle, smashed in a couple of zombies' heads, then switched to his M1911 before putting a bullet through seven more heads, then loading his shotgun again before he continued blowing out more brains, with him loading a shell directly into the chamber each time.

Eventually, he ran out of shells, and retreated back to the group, and he caught his breath just in time to hear Kohta unloading bullets into the crowd with the usually short, controlled bursts. Shizuka meanwhile held onto Masato to steady him, but of course his only interest was watching the rest of the zombies die. Saya and Kohta continued unloading bullets into the crowd...then a problem happened.

"I'm jammed!" Kohta yelled, then Saya's sniper rifle clicked when she pulled the trigger.

"And I'm out of bullets!" She yelled.

"And there's no more sniper rounds..." Shizuka breathed out.

"Oh great..." Saya groaned.

"Just hold them off while I unjam the SAW." Masato before Saya switched to her MP5, and began shooting down the horde along side Alice and Shizuka as Masato stood up and got to work on the SAW right away. Kohta in the meanwhile, just watched the zombies fall like dominoes as the trio of females with him massacred the undead, and his trainer demonstrated how to unjam the gun...which Kohta of course took note of. He then looked to the side...and his eyes widened.

"The cavalry has arrived!" Kohta yelled, and everyone looked to see Saeko and Rei charging down the road...with a trail of dead zombies behind them.

"Where did those zombies behind them come from?" Saya asked.

"Apparently they were taking care of them while we were dealing with the ones here. Speaking of which...Kohta! Take your station back." Masato said.

"Yes sir!" Kohta said before taking the SAW back, and the group got back to work shooting down the zombies that were getting less numerous by the second thanks to the ammo the group was spending. Rei and Saeko began tag-teaming the zombies on one side, which freed the shooters up to deal with the ones on the other side. In combination, the two teams made short work of the remaining zombies...but another wave was on it's way down the road.

"Oh give us a break..." Rei groaned.

"Just keep shooting!" Shizuka yelled before she continued firing at the zombies, then reloaded as everyone else opened fire. Rei and Saeko took a moment to brace themselves before getting back to work. The shooters continued spewing bullets the zombies' way as the two melee fighters slaughtered zombies up-close once again. Rei and Saeko eventually had no choice but to stop a catch their breath, and were about to retreat before they heard an engine revving, and they spotted Takashi and Itachi riding their way, with Takahi driving by a whole side of the horde, with Itachi craving through it like a human lawnmower.

"Wish granted." Saeko said, before she and Rei regrouped behind the shooters, and Takashi and Itachi rapidly approached before Takashi stopped in front of the group.

"What did we miss?" Itachi asked with a toothy smile.

"Very funny..." Saya said.

"Takashi! Itachi!" Rei yelled, and Takashi and Itachi shared glances with their respective lovers, then each other before

Takashi and Itachi fought back-to-back with one covering each angle the other wasn't, and going back and forth between doing their own thing, or setting a zombie up to get knocked down by the other. An example of which being the time Takashi kicked the zombie down, smashed it's face in with his bat, then broke another zombie's knee as it went for Itachi, then he stabbed it in the back of the head with his katana as he dodged it's lunge. Itachi then returned the favor by jumping onto a zombie's chest, flipping off of it, and Takash tripped it as the zombie stumbled back, and then split the zombie's head with one swing.

Meanwhile, Rei and Saeko continued to use the tag-team method with one lunging forward to strike a zombie, and then retreating to give the other a chance. The two even took a page out of the men's books and used team moves of their own. At one point, Saeko stepped on Rei's naginata, and she launched Saeko at the zombies like a catapult and once Saeko got in range, she spun like a helicopter and cut down the entire group in one sitting. Itachi actually stopped fighting to witness Saeko's stunt...only for Saya to have to gun down a couple of zombies before they could lunge at him.

"Hey! Put your eyes back in their sockets and help us out with the zombies-" Saya stop talking the moment another explosion took out the entire center of the wave of zombies. They then looked to see Masato holding up the M32.

"You were saying?" Itachi asked.

"I was saying shut up." Saya said.

"Sure you were..." Itachi whispered.

"I heard that!" Saya snapped.

"Enough! Let's go see what's in that apartment down there." Masato said.

"With all due respect...are you nuts? I'm not going in there!" Saya snapped.

"Then don't. I will investigate it myself." Masato said simply as he walked down the street.

"There's probably nothing in there anyway." Saya said.

"Even though we know some Ghosts were in there? They might have something useful." Itachi said.

"Whatever...I'm not following him." Saya said.

"Let's just grab whatever stuff we can find around here and go home." Takashi said, and the group gathered their things and walked toward home.

"So...how did Takashi's old Benelli treat you?" Kohta asked, and Itachi smirked.

"Fairly." He said.

"Fairly he says..." Rei trailed off while shaking her head.

Meanwhile, Masato went into the apartment the Ghosts were using as a base, and found some leftover zombies...and none lasted very long. He unloaded one shell after another into every head he saw, and lobotomized every zombie that got too close, or had the gall to lunge at him from a blind spot. Once Masato ran out of shells, he switched to his Desert Eagle, and used it to smash in heads left and right. He even fired one of it's infamously powerful bullets through the helmeted skull of a Ghost that must have been freshly-turned even the state his body was in.

Masato then looted the ammo, pistol, and even grenades the zombie had on him before moving on. When Masato got to the top floor, he found it to be full of dead zombies, which meant the Ghosts there put up a better fight than expected...but it wasn't enough. Masato saw a Ghost in the corner, nursing his heavily-bleeding neck, which of course meant he was bitten. He then moved on to inspect the area, before he heard a zombie crawling his way, then he pulled his M1911 and put a bullet through it's skull before grabbing the bags full of ammo, and heading for the door.

"Wait! You have to finish me...!" The Ghost yelled, then Masato put a bullet through his head with the same enthusiasm as he did with the zombies. He then walked out of the building having completed his work, and went down the street littered with devastated zombies. Eventually, he reached the group's home block to deliver the goods.

After the group had a well-deserved meal, Saeko and Itachi took another trip back to the temple for additional training.

"Why exactly did you use your katana on that motorcycle instead of shooting them?" Saeko asked.

"First off, I was almost out of ammo, second, using my bow under those circumstances would be a pain in the ass at best, and spending time on running around collecting my arrows would be an even bigger pain in the ass, and lastly...how often do you see someone use a katana on a motorcycle?" Itachi said.

"Not often...although you could say that moment made you a modern-day samurai on horseback." Saeko said.

"Maybe so; I haven't thought of it that way..." Itachi said.

"Well that's why you're with me now is it?" Saeko teased, and with that, the two continued walking towards the temple, with Saeko continuing to lead...and Itach couldn't stop staring at her butt as they went up the stairs.

"O.k...seriously, were the tight pants really necessary? I could probably see your ass with my eyes shut." Itachi said and Saeko gave him a side-glance, and a smirk.

"Don't tell me you're complaining..." She said sensually.

"Complaining? Hardly. Curious...very." Itachi said.

"Well...I was inspired by Rei actually, and she had a good point about movement restrictions, although...surely giving a good sight to behold is something you can sympathize with. Am I wrong?" Saeko asked.

"Not in the least baby..." Itachi said, before giving Saeko's butt a quick smack.

"Careful...we're approaching sacred ground, which is a bad place for fucking, not to mention we can't have hormones racing during training." Saeko said.

"Point taken, but you really should've seen that coming." Itachi said.

"Of course I did..." Saeko said, and with that, the two continued up the stairs, and the moment they reached their destination, they got to work right away. Itachi and Saeko had yet another sparring match with their bokkens, and despite the hormones that were indeed racing through each of them...they kept their composure the whole time, and used just about every single skill they knew. They threw strikes while dodging, sometimes while even jumping, other times they threw fake strikes to one angle, only to throw a real one to another angle, they retreated from one strike, only to lunge forward with their own strikes.

In the end, Saeko came out on top after taking advantage of Itachi losing his footing, and put the tip of her bokken at his chest...before literally getting on top of him and pressing her lips against his and sharing multiple kisses with him, with each one as passionate as the last.

"I thought this was a bad place for fucking..." Itachi breathing.

"It is..but not for this." Saeko said before kissing him yet, and once they got it all out of their systems, Saeko lead him to where the bamboo grew to show him how to properly draw his blade, and slash at the same time. Unsurprisingly, she only had to show him the skill once, but he wasn't as fluid as she was until multiple tries later, even then, his Mushin prowess only carried him so far, especially considering how the effects were in no way instant to say the least. Despite Itachi's lack of fluidity, over a dozen bamboo pieces were sliced apart, with each one reused until they couldn't be used anymore thanks to Saeko thinking outside-the-box and setting up the already-cut-down bamboo to be cut down again.

When they were done, Saeko went to the archery range, and her progress was no worse than Itachi's. She challenged herself to loose arrows while moving, and each arrow hit the targets, with only five hitting the center. Ironically, six arrows hit the center when the wind picked up; she was used to the wind now, and something must have snapped inside her mind that made her think the wind wasn't going to get one over on her this time. One partially funny case was when she aimed for one target, then the wind picked up, and blew her shot into the area next to the center of another, and it was so unexpected, unusual, and convenient, both Saeko and Itachi couldn't stop laughing.

When Itachi collected the arrows, the two sat out in front of the main temple watching the weather pick up.

"You know...at the motorpool we wen to, Takashi said the way I fought reminded him of you." Itachi said.

"Did it now?" Saeko asked.

"Yes, although...I wasn't having the time of my life for once." Itachi said.

"Oh...that..." Saeko trailed off.

"I'm really sorry I laughed at you." Itachi said softly.

"It's o.k...what's done is done." Saeko said.

"Well, for what it's worth, I have been watching you for weeks on end, so me being able to copy your moves was a cinch, and I'm glad I did." Itachi said.

"That should go without saying, but I am honored you value my input so highly, even if we weren't in love." Saeko said, and the two shared a smile.

"I love you too." Itachi said, and with that, the rain began to pick up, and Saeko grabbed the flute she had at her side, played a handful of notes before handing it over to Itachi who picked up where she left off, and the rain came down harder and harder overtime.
