Author's Note: Fun fact, there's a fun little coincidence between last chapter's number and content. Surprised no one mentioned it. :P

Cinder awoke cuddled up to Raven's warm, fully naked body, strong arms wrapped around her own nude form, and with her head atop her soft, ample, bare breasts. Something that... she really believed that she would never in her life be able to experience. Hell, after... after the fire... she never thought that she would ever get the chance at being in an proper relationship again... Especially not with her boss, who was... well, a literal woman of her dreams... And they actually had sex last night! Gods, every bit of this situation was truly unbelievable.

Best. Fucking. Morning. Ever.

Did they have work today..? Most likely... but Cinder did not care. Not in the absolute slightest. She was in heaven... cuddling with her friend... Wait, no. They were dating, so she should probably start referring to the older woman as her girlfriend... Which... after a few moments, she realized that she had already decided on that the prior night. before they... got busy. In her defense, Cinder just woke up after a night of passionate lovemaking, and her mind was just a tad hazy, and her legs a little tingly. It had been quite a while since the last time she had ridden someone's face... and she did not realize how much she missed it. Nora always enjoyed being on top, or... physically holding her pelvis up to her mouth, which was... an experience the first time, and Emerald... well, Cinder always preferred to be the one under her...

Then she felt Raven begin to stir, softly groaning as her legs stretched out. Opening her eye, the younger woman glanced up at her girlfriend in time to see her reach up to rub the sleep from her eyes and look down at the woman in her arms, before smiling.

"Mornin'..." Raven tiredly greeted. "Sleep okay?"

Cinder smiled right back. "Better than any other night here, which was already multitudes better than I have in a long time."

Raven's smile then shifted into more of a grin. "Guess you can thank that little ride you took last night. Really seemed to work wonders."

Cinder let out a chuckle. "Yes, perhaps I have found my new favourite seat in the house." She teased, smirking up at her girlfriend.

Raven just shrugged, her grin remaining strong. "Hey, sounds good to me. It's available anytime you want." She promised, tilting down to plant a kiss atop the younger woman's head, earning a giggle. "But speakin' of that, I'm not gonna lie, that tongue of yours finished me so hard that I almost passed out. I mean... fuck, Cin, you're magic."

Cinder only chuckled again, moving up until they were face-to-face. "Well, as you say, it's available anytime you want." She purred, leaning in to meet the older woman in a brief kiss, before moving back down to snuggle into her soft, naked body once again.

"Keep talkin' like that and I'm gonna need it again real soon." Raven warned.

"No arguments here." Cinder commented, simply enjoying the warmth that her girlfriend's body provided. In all honesty, she could easily go for a morning-after round two, but at the same time... she was much too comfortable. They were together. They were happy. There was no need to rush anything. Plus... this could be a good opportunity to talk about... a certain topic... Cinder had wanted to discuss it ever since they became a couple, but... she was nervous about bringing it up. Though... perhaps she could get Raven to talk about her own experiences first...

"Hey... Rave?" Cinder began, adjusting her position so that she could look at the older woman's face without tilting her head up.

"What's up?" Raven replied, glancing down.

"What was it like... in the bedroom... with Summer and Taiyang...? What, with three people and all..." Cinder hesitantly asked. Of course she was rather... curious to hear the answer, given how this would be the first time, but she also wanted to get her girlfriend talking about a topic related to prior partners to... prepare herself.

"Well... not as great as you'd imagine. Tai and I tried our best to give everyone equal attention, but Sum... wasn't as inclusive..." Raven admitted with a heavy sigh. "Of course she still loved me like family, told me all the time, but... Tai was the one she really lavished... She was just... never as attracted to women as she was to men... and it was easy to see. That woman loved suckin' dick, not so much pussy or tits, even though she was honestly pretty good at all three."

Cinder could not help but let out a giggle. "I suppose that makes one of us." She teased, planting a kiss on the side of one of the older woman's bare breasts, earning a chuckle.

"Yeah, there were times when I hadn't even gotten my shirt fully off yet and Sum already had his dick in her mouth." Raven mentioned, before smirking a bit. "But that was only 'cause unlike me, she couldn't get it down her throat." She added. "'Course when I got my turn, Tai fucked like a gods damn truck, knew just how rough I liked it." Then Raven grinned at her girlfriend. "Which I still do by the way, so y'know, don't hold back next time." She commented, laughing at the blush the immediately tinted Cinder's face. "But uh, yeah, he was really in love with me, and it showed. It was his best quality, even though I preferred Sum's personality overall, and loved being bigger than her."

Raven grinned again at the younger woman laying atop her naked body. "It's nice to have the latter again." Then that grin faded. "It's just... Over time it was more like Sum and I had our own things with Tai, instead of being the three of us. It was like... I was with Tai, and she was with Tai. We slept together, we fucked a lot, we had a relationship, but it wasn't real... not really anyway." Raven sighed. "'Cept the whole time I thought I was doin' something wrong... Scared the shit outta me, so I started tryin' to bring it up, and... turns out she didn't really love me the way I hoped. Fuckin' sickened me when I finally found out. Drove a wedge between us that broke the relationship, and took years to heal even to the point where I could see her without having to fuckin' get drunk afterwards..."

If Cinder was not already cuddled up to her girlfriend, she would have clenched her fists. To lie to someone that loved you for so long... Forcing yourself to intimately be with them... giving them hope like that... only to tell them that their feelings were never reciprocated? That... That was truly disgusting behaviour. Sickening even. Before today, Cinder thought that Summer had at least tried to warm up to Raven in that way, for lack of a better phrase, but... to actually hear that she was just forcing herself the entire time rather than telling the truth from the start... Now, that woman could go fuck herself for all she cared.

"Emmy was the only truly honest relationship that I ever had..." Cinder almost mumbled, just convincing herself to say it out loud, but nevertheless, continued. "Early on, I... barely felt worthy of her love, let alone her body... I was nothing compared to her, yet... she treated me like a goddess. So... I tried my utmost to do the same, because to me, Emmy was a goddess... my goddess... and it was a blessing to worship at her feet..." Then Cinder noticed Raven's furrowed brow. "Of course I wasn't actually religious about it, I just felt so... undeserving..."

Cinder took a shaky breath, glad that she was being held by the older woman. "I loved having her above me, Rave, in any way. I believed that I belonged beneath her, for Emmy to use however she wished... but she was never aggressive or vindictive from anything I had done to her in the past... It left me to be able to freely explore what I really loved about her body... Her curves... the way they moved, jiggled and gave way beneath my fingers and mouth..." Then she smiled at the memory. "I was shy about admitting it, but Emmy coaxed it out of me, and it took a lot of effort to properly indulge. It... made me feel guilty for a long time, and that was a major hurdle for us to grow past... The fact that I took so much pleasure in... objectifying Emmy after everything I did just felt... shameful... There's probably a name for the fetish, but I don't know it if there is."

Raven only let out a chuckle, her body thrumming with the silky sound. "Well, you don't seem to have any problem objectifying me."

Leaning up, Cinder took gentle hold of the sides of her girlfriend's bare breasts, lightly pushing them together a couple times. "Blame these melons you call boobs, they're the ones always staring at me."

Raven just smirked. "Pretty sure that's only 'cause they're bein' stared at."

Feeling a slight blush tint her cheeks, Cinder looked away. "I deny any such accusations."

Raven let out a chuckle. "No no it's fine! You've got a fetish for big tits, and ass, and thighs. I can work with that."

Looking back, Cinder quirked her brow. "Oh? And how might you work with that?"

Raven brought a hand up to her chin, seemingly in thought. "I think the kids call it smothering these days."

Cinder kept her brow raised. "You plan to smother me with one of your pairs of assets?" Now that sounded like heaven.

"Got a problem with that?" Raven wondered with a smirk.

"Not in the slightest. I welcome it." Cinder proudly answered, glancing down at the older woman's bare chest. To have those things pressing down on her face would be a dream come true. She had already gotten the absolute pleasure of doing several things with them, so perhaps that could come in the near future...

"You welcome your doom?" Raven continued.

"Without question." Cinder nodded, once again, quite proudly. To have any of those pressing down on her face would be an honour and a privilege.

Raven chuckled again at such straight answers. "Whatever shall I put on your gravestone?"

"Died the way she intended." Cinder immediately described.

"Suffocated by tits." Raven added, nudging her breasts for emphasis.

"Precisely." Cinder smiled, leaning back down to rest her head on the soft, large mounds. "Could I use it as an excuse to get out of work?

Raven just snickered. "Nice try." She wrapped her arms around the younger woman, holding her close.

"What if I ask nicely?" Cinder wondered.

"I'll reply nicely, get stuffed." Raven grinned.

Cinder had to resist the urge to laugh at her girlfriend's answer. Too easy. "Oh yes, please stuff me, Rave." Preferably with your fingers.

"Twerp." Raven laughed, tilting down to press a kiss to her forehead.

Cinder merely shrugged, nuzzling closer. "Well, as you said on our first date, you're stuck with me."

Raven only smiled, gazing down at the naked woman in her arms. "Oh however shall I cope?"

Cinder immediately smirked at the question. "I can think of a few ways."

Then came a brief silence. "Like say... a shower?" Raven offered, causing Cinder to tilt her head up with a slightly widened eye.

"You mean... together?"

Raven nodded. "If you're up for it, 'cause I'm lookin' for a little more one-on-one time before we gotta eat and go to work."

Cinder managed a smile, as another blush quickly tinted her cheeks. A shower... with Raven? Gods, she must have won the fucking lottery. "Well, I suppose." She answered after a few moments, trying her absolute hardest to contain her excitement. Another dream come true. "So long as there's actual washing done at some point, because I think we need it after yesterday." She added, considering neither of them showered after such a busy shift. Then, the older woman just grinned, and licked her lips, causing Cinder to shiver.

"Done worry, Cin, you'll be squeaky clean by the time I'm done with you."

With a groan, Vernal felt herself being pulled from her slumber by a sudden firm knocking on her front door. Who the fuck was visiting at this time of night?

Cracking open her eyes, she immediately reached up grab her head, as another throbbing headache hit her like a train. Fucking hell... Forgot to drink enough water again... Now she felt like shit. After a few moments, Vernal pulled herself up into a half-sitting position, realizing that she apartment was not pitch black, which must have meant that it was the next morning... or afternoon. She had no fucking idea. The past week... or so, since Raven had been there had passed by in a blur. She did not even know what day it was.

Looking around her messy, lonely apartment, once again filled with empty beer cans, Vernal soon found her scroll on the floor in front of the couch that she was currently on. It still hurt too much to sleep in her own bed... She had not slept alone in that thing in... over a year and a half... Letting out a heavy sigh, she reached down to pick it up, groaning again as her stupid body ached, and turned on the device, seeing the time. Wow, it was before noon. That was a first in... at least a week. Though that did not matter. Not a lot fucking did. Vernal was still hesitant about returning to work, so there was almost no point in being awake, aside from eating and using the bathroom, so she just preferred to stay asleep. Everything hurt less that way, because even while drunk, high, or both, much like... she probably was last night, her mind was foggy, there was still pain that got through.

Then came another firm knock on the front door.

Oh... right. Vernal almost forgot about that. Guess I have to fucking get up now.

Eventually pulling herself up off of the couch, she trudged across the living area, and grabbed her bat, which she had moved closer to the entrance after... she started living alone. Vernal did not want to deal with anyone's bullshit right now. Or anything for that matter. She just... wanted to tell whoever the hell was at the door to fuck off, and to go back to bed. She wanted the pain to stop...

Unfortunately, upon unlocking and nearly throwing open the front door, bat ready, her eyes widened at the person she found, a sharp pain pulsing through her heart. For a brief moment, Vernal truly believed that the woman standing before her was Weiss... Beautiful, shiny white hair... piercing gaze... smooth, pale skin... She had come back... But... a cold numbness soon settled in her chest, as... she realized this was not who she thought.

"Hello, Vernal. You're looking... well-rested." Winter Schnee greeted... briefly gazing down at the younger woman's attire, or partial lack thereof, as usual, before offering a small, but warm smile. "This feels quite reminiscent of my last visit, especially with that bat."

Vernal could barely keep her expression neutral as she stared up at the woman on her doorstep, tired as shit, emotionally drained, and only seeing... yet another a reminder that Weiss was gone. What a way to fucking wake up, having... Weiss's older clone dropping by to remind her that she was only worth a damn when her now-ex-girlfriend was around... Gods... Vernal felt like such a fucking failure again...

"Is... Weiss around?" Winter inquired, glancing past who she thought was her sister's partner into the apartment. "Or is she currently at work?"

Vernal merely sighed, wishing that she did not have to talk about this. It hurt... so fucking much... She just... wanted to go back to bed. All she managed was a slight shrug. "She's... at her friend, Yang's place... or... probably girlfriend by now... I dunno... We're not... We're not together anymore..." She mumbled, barely able to get the words out. Judging from Winter's stern expression... even though that was just neutral for her, Vernal expected to get chastised for letting Weiss go, even though... she was the best thing that ever happened to her pointless life... Or to say anything disparaging against her... Part of her wanted it... Gods know she sure as hell deserved it...

Instead, Winter just... blinked, as if she was... realizing something... "Oh, yes, that's right. I do sincerely apologize, Vernal. Work has been quite hectic, and it seems that I've forgotten, and come here out of instinct." She explained, actually... bowing her head a bit. "I'm very sorry for bothering you. Have a good after... noon..." She went to say, but trailed off, her eye appearing to be caught by something.

Following the older woman's gaze, Vernal found that she was staring... at the bandage around her forearm. The very one that Raven had wrapped after she tried to off herself... Immediately hiding that arm behind her back, she looked away in shame, wishing that she had never taken that piece of glass to her wrist, but knowing she was about to be chewed out over it. Instead, Winter only looked down at the other woman's hidden wrist for a few moments, before her eyes made their way back to Vernal's own. "May I come in?" She inquired, completely calm. No anger, nor disappointment, nothing. It was... shocking. So much so that Vernal had no idea how to respond.

"S-Sure..."

As usual, Coco was bored out of her mind.

Ever since she and Yang broke up, and they stopped hanging out so often, her days had become rather... monotonous, and it definitely did not help that the Reds were at work during the week. So, that left her to merely lounge around, watching television. This particular day felt especially boring. There was nothing really on TV, Yang had a shift, so they could not text or hang out - even though Coco could really use some of the blonde's downright contagious cheerfulness - Ruby and Pyrrha would still not be home for a little while, and she just... did not have the motivation to do anything else. Hell, she would even take having to go to AA over nothing... as profoundly uncomfortable as it always was. Though, that did not mean she did not belong there.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her vision, Coco saw the front door of the apartment swing open, and a very excited-looking Ruby march inside, a plastic bag in one hand, and her work tablet in the other. Upon closing the door and spotting the brunette lying on the couch, she happily strode over, putting the plastic bag on the coffee table, and plopping down on the floor in front of her. She then turned on the tablet, and opened up one of her social media pages, and navigated to a post that Coco recognized. It was one of her own drawings that she made a few years back, depicting Ruby as a sort of warrior, dressed in a black and red combat-type outfit, and wielding a huge scythe, as requested. She also made a couple other pieces later on, both with different outfits and colour schemes, but they both liked the first much more. It was far superior in design in Coco's opinion.

Leaning back and holding up the tablet with an adorable, bright smile on her face, Ruby pointed at the bottom of the picture, showing... an impressive amount of likes and comments. "See? I told you people would like them!" She beamed, swiping through a few more of Coco's old art pieces that she had given her friend permission to post.

"Your tits are pretty great." Coco mentioned, sitting up as she managed a slight smirk. Even if they aren't the biggest around, 'specially compared to her wife's or sister's. Gods damn do those two have great racks.

"Coco, it's not my boobs they're staring at!" Ruby defended. "It's your awesome artwork!"

Coco just quirked a brow. "How do you know that? Most of those outfits aren't exactly conservative." Of course she was joking, but it was always fun to tease her friend, simply because her reactions were cute as fuck.

"Because, my ass is better." Ruby declared, rather proudly.

Glancing down farther, Coco took a quick glance at the younger woman's jeans-clad rear. It was not the greatest view due to their respective positions, but it was good enough. "Damn right. That Rubooty is tight." She agreed, before snickering a bit. "Pun intended."

Ruby immediately laughed at the admittedly terrible joke. "Thanks, Yang."

Coco shrugged. "What can I say, she rubbed off on me."

Ruby only rolled her eyes. "Better off than in."

Coco had to hold back a laugh of her own. "Well, we technically did a little of that too." Even if we broke up right before she ate me out. Man, fappin' the next night was a real letdown compared to what could've happened.

Ruby actually cringed a little at her friend's response, even though she herself usually had no issue with going on and on about her own sex life with Pyrrha. How ironic. "Okay, that's enough about that." She decided, switching off her tablet and placing it on the coffee table, before hopping up on the couch to sit next to the brunette. "How've you been feeling?"

Coco only shrugged again, her smile fading. "I dunno, bored mostly. Got nothin' to do when you two are at work and Yang's got a shift, so it leaves me to just... sit around, watchin' TV, missing and waiting for you guys to get home..."

Ruby placed a hand atop her friend's uninjured one, offering a warm smile. "Sounds like we've gotta find you something to do when you're alone." She recommended. Coco opened her mouth to suggest the first thing that popped into her mind, but the younger woman stopped her. "And no, I don't mean masturbating. I already dealt with Yang's one-night stands when we were roommates, I don't need to hear you doin' that sorta stuff to yourself." She quickly clarified, earning a slight chuckle from the brunette. "The point is, it should be something that motivates you as much as you enjoy it." Ruby stressed. "Could be anything really. Online gaming, cooking, dancing, improv... I'll even take some time off work to spend with you."

Coco just shook her head at that last suggestion, struggling to maintain eye contact. "Ruby... you shouldn't do that just for me..."

Taking hold of her friend's hand, Ruby leaned closer. "I want to spend more time with you, Coco, because as much as I love my job, I really miss you when I'm at work."

Coco tried to lighten the mood with a chuckle, but it barely came out. "C'mon, Big Red, you come home to me every day, unless I'm hangin' out with Yang, which... of course hasn't been happening as much recently..."

Ruby only shifted closer. "You're going through a rough time, and I wanna be there for you, 'cause I love you."

While Coco wanted to agree to her friend's offer, to be able to spend all day with her, even if only for a few days, she knew... that would not be a good idea. "You don't need to be around twenty-four-seven for me to know that, but you've also got your own wife to pamper, your own life to live..."

Ruby reached up to take hold of the brunette's face, forcing her to meet her beautiful silver eyes. "You're part of my life now."

Coco just looked away. "Little Red should be takin' priority."

Ruby kept holding onto her friend's face. "Little Red agrees, you're our priority."

Surprisingly, Coco was able to let out a small chuckle. "You two are too nice for your own good."

"You're family, Coco." Ruby promised, smiling again.

"More like a burden." Coco sighed, shoulders slumping.

"Call it whatever you want, we're gonna take care of you anyway." Ruby shrugged.

"You two have gotta focus on each other sometimes." Coco mentioned.

"We're married, Coco, we'll be focusing on each other for the rest of our lives." Ruby assured.

"Doesn't mean you should waste your time on a lost cause." Coco added, shoulders slumping further. In truth, that statement was probably a bit harsh, but that did not make it any less true. Ever since Velvet died... she had become utterly useless.

"You'll never be a lost cause." Ruby declared, leaning in to peck the brunette on the cheek. "We'll always fight for you."

Coco managed a slight smile, but it was mostly a reaction to being kissed. "I mean come on, you find me the best gal around and we don't even last a few weeks. Sounds pretty lost to me."

"Last I checked you two became good friends, and decided romance wasn't what you wanted. Does that sound like a lost cause to you?" Ruby inquired.

"Didn't I... disappoint you two though?" Coco questioned. "You were so excited to hear that things were goin' well, that we were makin' each other happy... then we went and broke up the night of our first real date, right in the middle of getting busy..." She sighed, hanging her head in shame. "Doesn't that disappoint you?"

Ruby shook her head. "The only thing you've ever made me is proud, Coco."

"Even now? Sitting around every day, nothin' to do, or even motivate me?" Coco asked, part of her hoping that her friend would say yes, even if to just hear what she deserved.

"As long as you're safe, as long as you're trying. Even if it takes months, even if you spend years wearing a groove into this couch, I'll always be proud of you for trying." Ruby promised, laying a hand atop the brunette's shoulder, offering a warm smile.

Coco actually managed a more authentic smile. "Thanks, Big Red, you always know just what to say to a gal."

Ruby just chuckled at the compliment. "Apparently. I still don't know how I got Pyr."

Coco merely quirked a brow. "Really? It's 'cause you're cute as a fuckin' button, hard-working, and never give up on anything." She informed, before smirking a bit. "Plus you've got a great ass, but that's just a bonus."

Ruby immediately whined in response. "Stop, I'm not that special!" She denied, burying her face in her friend's chest.

"You've got no idea how special you are, Ruby." Coco added, her voice low as she wrapped her uninjured arm around the younger woman to pull her into a hug. To which Ruby only mumbled incoherently, but still snuggled in further. "I love you, and y'know, thanks for putting up with my shit."

Ruby let out a giggle, eventually raising to sit up properly, smiling at the brunette. "I'll always put up with your shit."

Coco's eyebrows raised at the swear. "Ooh, Big Red's got a potty mouth."

Ruby just shrugged, an innocent smile spreading across her face. "Sometimes I even say fuck."

Coco faux-gasped. "Looks like that's one for the swear jar." Then she smirked. "Or maybe a spank from Little Red."

Ruby smirked right back, but a blush tinted her cheeks just as quickly. "I don't have to swear to get that."

Coco actually managed a laugh at the response. "Oh I know, girl. You two aren't very subtle."

Ruby paused for a moment. "I don't think subtle is in Pyr's vocabulary."

Coco shook her head. "No, no it is not." Just like quiet's not in yours. Gods, those two needed better sound-proofing in that worship room thing, because some nights, it did not help. "I ever tell you you're a lucky gal?"

"Probably... A lotta people say I'm lucky." Ruby mentioned.

"You both are." Coco added, before chuckling. "And not just 'cause you can get spanked without even havin' to say fuck."

Ruby opened her mouth a few times, but did not say anything, as if having trouble getting the words out. "I'm sure if you asked nicely..."

Did Coco just hear that right? "Pfftt, yeah, sure, Big Red. Hey, Pyr, can you spank me if I say fuck around you? Sure that'd go over great." She laughed. As if that could ever happen.

Ruby only shrugged. "You know her, she'll give you that look where you think you've done something stupid, walk up to you all intimidating-like, and then tell you to bend over."

Coco blinked, trying her absolute hardest not to picture that exact. Unfortunately, she failed miserably, attempting to think of something else. Anything other than Pyrrha's firm hand coming down on her soft backside. Gods fucking damnit. "Okay, not gonna lie, that sounds pretty hot."

Ruby grinned. "I know right?"

"Yeah..." Coco mumbled, suddenly feeling a wave of... shame over what was just filling her mind. "Is it wrong that I'm... honestly envious?"

Ruby shrugged again. "It's not really uncommon, Coco."

"Still... doesn't feel right." Coco admitted. "I mean that's your wife, Ruby. I shouldn't..." Then she sighed. "Sorry."

Ruby shook her head. "You have nothing to be sorry for. We love you, so don't ever be afraid of expressing yourself."

Coco's gaze fell to the floor. "I know, but... I shouldn't be making those kinds of jokes about Pyr..."

Ruby then wrapped an arm around the brunette's shoulder, pulling her close. "It's okay, you're okay. You haven't done anything wrong."

Coco just let out a heavy sigh. "I'm sorry I couldn't have been easier for you and Pyr to deal with... and that things didn't work out with Yang... even though we really wished it could've... I'm just... sorry about all this shit."

Ruby tightened her one-armed embrace. "It's not your fault, Coco, none of this is your fault. It's been hard for all of us, but you... you lost so much... It's not your fault."

Coco was quiet for a few moments, not exactly sure what to say. "I dunno, Ruby... Everything just feels so... empty..."

"You're allowed to feel that way, you know that, right?" Ruby wondered.

Coco nodded a bit. "Yeah, I know, I just... wish I didn't have to anymore..." She murmured, leaning her head against her friend's shoulder.

"Until then... I'll do everything I can to try and help." Ruby promised, planting a soft kiss on the top of the brunette's head.

Coco managed a small smile "Thanks, Ruby... You're the best... You both are."

Ruby let out a giggle. "You were the best first."

Coco actually laughed a bit. "Technically Little Red was the best first, but really, I dunno what I'd do without you."

"Pyr would drag us all together, kicking and screaming if she had to." Ruby answered.

"As if either of us would even resist if she dragged us somewhere." Coco mentioned. That woman could tell them to do anything or go anywhere, and they would not hesitate to follow her orders. Just like she told Yang, like a gods damn queen.

"She'll never steer us wrong." Ruby smiled.

"'Cept when she accidentally gives you the wrong directions when you two are driving somewhere." Coco countered with a slight smirk.

"That was one time!" Ruby defended.

Coco just shrugged, as awkward as it was from her current position against her friend's shoulder. "Still counts."

Ruby had to be pouting by now. Gods it was adorable when she did that. Almost as adorable as a Velvet pout... "Well we still ended up in the right place in the end." She reminded with a huff.

Coco chuckled. "Somehow."

After that, the two proceeded to remain in silence for a short time, with the brunette leaning against Ruby, arm around her shoulders. It was so nice... so... peaceful... She felt like she could just... fall asleep right there... Suddenly, the younger woman perked up, jostling Coco from her comfort. Damnit. So much for catching up on some of the sleep that she lost last night because of the muffled noises of the couple's... booty smackin', as Yang would say. Gods, she was so glad they were friends.

"Oh! What about drawing?" Ruby excitedly wondered, circling back to their previous topic. "You're already an amazing artist, you just drew clothing more than anything, which is basically character design minus the character." She then leaned forward to grab the plastic bag that she had come home with off the coffee table, opening it up and pulling out a large pad of paper, showing it off with a bright smile. "Look! I got you this sketchbook! Since the stuff I posted is doing really well, I wanted to see if you wanted to continue! Having an art social media page can be a great hobby, or even a job!"

Coco furrowed her brow at that last part. "A job? How would I get paid from posting art online?"

Leaning forward again, Ruby picked her tablet back up and switched it on. She then re-opened one of her social media pages, navigated to one of the pages she followed, and tapped on a link in their description, leading her to... some kind of membership page, with differently-priced tiers. Something called... Backermore... Weird name. "With one of these! Popular artists use them to get direct donations from their fans! Kinda like a subscription service where they get rewards and stuff based on the tier they sub to."

Coco had to think about that for a few moments. So it's like... getting paid by fans...

"If you want, I can post more of your old stuff, see if interest grows enough for you to start your own page." Ruby suggested with a smile, before holding out the sketchbook. "'Til then, start practicing!" She proudly beamed as the brunette accepted the pad. "I'll even model for ya!"

Coco let out a chuckle at both the gift, and the offer. "Thanks, Ruby." She smiled, observing the sketchbook in her hand. Then she smirked. "Y'know, I'm a tad rusty on the female form, might need to start with some nudes. Still up for that, Big Red?"

Placing her tablet back on the coffee table, Ruby immediately turned to look at her friend, quirking a brow. Miss Adel... Is that a challenge I hear?"

Coco just shrugged, her smirk remaining on her face. "That depends, you woman enough to take it?"

Returning to her seat on the couch, Ruby snickered. "If I put on my lady stilts and poke my butt out real far, maybe."

Coco could not help but laugh. "You don't need to do that." She assured, shifting over to bump the younger woman's rear with her own. "I already told ya, the Rubooty is tight." Pyrrha would definitely agree with her. To which Ruby let out an adorable giggle.

"You would know. you perv."

What better way was there for Yang wake up, than with a beautiful woman she cared for nestled in her arms. It got to the point where they both refused to move until each receiving nature's call. They were just too warm, too comfortable... Weiss' hair smelled so good...

Once they were finally out of bed... a while later, and took their visits to the bathroom, the pair got to work on a late breakfast. Well, after taking care of one more thing. As the two headed through the living area, they spotted Neo, who was still fast asleep on the couch. It was... rather adorable. So, not wanting to disturb that with the sounds of their cooking, Yang slowly, and ever-so-carefully picked her up, carried her to her bedroom, and gently laid her down on the bed. Luckily, all the movement did not interrupt her slumber, which they were both extremely thankful for, since the fact that she was still asleep in the first place was a great sign, and they did not want to ruin that.

After their guest had been successfully moved, and the blonde's door had been closed, lest they wake her, the pair moved onto making breakfast. Yang thought about making something new for Weiss, something that she had never eaten before, but her friend insisted on helping with the preparation, so she figured they should make something familiar to them both: pancakes. It was... nice to cook with someone again, rather than teaching or being taught. She had not done that in... years, since she lived with Ruby during her university years. Of course now there was a lot more flirting and cheek-pecks with her new cooking partner, but still... It was really nice.

And boy did those pancakes come out great, especially when they each added their favourite toppings: icing sugar and maple syrup. Once again, Weiss' cooking skills were surprisingly impressive, but that was likely due to living with Vernal for over a year and a half, and that woman definitely did not seem like she cooked anything that was not basic. Unfortunately, with every great breakfast, came a fun cleanup. Though, that did give Yang the chance to think about their current situation.

Right now, the pair was in a sort of... limbo, for lack of a better term. They had not gone out on any dates yet, nor even kissed. Rather, they were... feeling things out, taking their time. Which... was certainly a new one for Yang, considering that she had never before been in any kind of relationship that did not include sex within the first few weeks. Although, that was not a bad thing. After the... arrangement Yang had with Neo, not having to worry about that stuff for now, and just... focusing on each other... She liked the sound of that. The two would get there when they were ready.

Suddenly, a firm knocking rung upon the front door, pulling the blonde from her thoughts. Sharing a confused, furrowed-brow look with her friend, wondering who exactly was at their door at eleven AM, Weiss put down the spatula that she was cleaning, dried her hands, and made her way to the entrance of the apartment. It obviously could not be Neo, seeing as she was asleep in their bedroom, and no one else from their friend group ever dropped by unannounced, so... who could it be?

Well, judging from the extremely excited gasp that Weiss let out when she opened the door, and how she immediately stepped forward to seemingly hug the individual, it was clearly someone she knew. Perhaps it was an old friend? Or maybe it was Ruby or Pyrrha paying them a visit... even though they should both be at work. Guess I'll go take a look.

Putting down the frying pan that she was washing, Yang dried her own hands and made her way out of the kitchen and toward the apartment entrance, where she peeked around the open door to find... Holy fuck... Currently standing out in the hallway, separating from Weiss' embrace... was one of the most drop-dead gorgeous women that the blonde had ever seen in her entire life. Clad in an incredibly expensive-looking white suit, she was tall, curvy, had what looked like a great rack, soft, pale skin, piercing icy-blue eyes, shiny ivory hair... several of which... her friend also had... Wait a minute...

Upon turning around, Weiss smiled, brighter than she had ever seen before. "Yang! This is my sister, Winter! She came for a surprise visit!" She beamed, leading her into the apartment and closing the door behind them.

Winter extended her hand as the pair reached the other woman, though her expression remained neutral. "Hello, Yang. It's nice to meet you."

So this was Weiss' sister. Damn, Yang never thought that she would see the day... Unfortunately, she only managed to stare at the knockout before her, barely able to focus. Good fucking gods, she's hot.

Weiss furrowed her brow at her friend. "Yang?"

The blonde just kept staring. Fuck me... She could not think of the last time she was so... dumbstruck by such an attractive woman. Even Weiss never really had that effect. Of course, when they properly met, she was really into the whole punk thing, and... dating Vernal. Then, by the time they expressed their feelings for one another, they had already known each other for such a long time... It just felt natural to freely recognize her beauty.

"Are... you alright?" Winter inquired, sharing a concerned look with her sister.

Yang had to physically shake herself out of that trance. "Yep! Sorry!" She burst, trying to compose herself. "I was uh... I... You're really uh, wow, just... yeah." Gods, please kill me.

Things were quiet for a few, very awkward moments, until Weiss let out a chuckle, turning to her sister with a smile. "She says it's nice to meet you too, and you're very pretty."

Rather that responding, Winter instead... seemed to do a quick observation of Yang's body... Sharp eyes making their way from her socks-clad feet, all the way up to her wild blonde mane, stopping at each... notable part of her form, so to speak. They even lingered a bit at her ample chest, which was... both flattering, and exceptionally intimidating, as if she was... judging her... "Hm... Likewise." Winter noted with a slight nod, moving on to look around the apartment.

Oh my gods, she thinks I'm attractive. "So uh, do you want some breakfast? O-Or some coffee? Or maybe just a glass of water?" Yang nervously offered, having no idea what this woman could want, since Weiss never really talked about her family.

Winter merely kept gazing around the area. "Coffee would be acceptable."

"You got it!" Yang smiled, quickly heading into the kitchen to prepare a cup for the older woman, leaving the two siblings in the living area.

"So why didn't you call ahead?" Weiss inquired. "It would've been nice to have a little time to prepare for your arrival, especially since I haven't seen you in months..." As well as actually change out of my pyjamas...

"And cause you undue worry?" Winter continued, unbuttoning her suit jacket.

Weiss only furrowed her brow at the question. "Why would I worry about you visiting?"

"Considering recent events, there could be any cause for you to worry." Winter answered. "Perhaps I came to take you back this time."

Weiss' shoulders slumped a bit, having almost forgot about that. "Oh... right. I will admit, things were... things were tough, and... I would have liked to discuss them with you, though I understand that your work is almost always busy..." Then she glanced over at her friend, who was turning on the coffee machine. "But I had Yang. She helped me get through it, and now... Now we're happy."

Winter raised a brow, crossing her arms. "And what of Vernal?" She questioned.

"I... don't know." Weiss admitted. "I haven't spoken to her since she tried to get me back a couple weeks ago..."

Suddenly, Yang was awkwardly standing next to the siblings, almost-timidly looking at the older one. "Hey, uh, sorry to interrupt, but how do you like your coffee?"

"Black, please." Winter requested.

"Sure thing." Yang nodded, quickly heading back into the kitchen.

"You haven't thought to contact her?" Winter continued, turning back to her sister.

"I have, but... I can't. Not yet." Weiss near-mumbled. "I made my choice, and... we need some time apart."

Winter let out a sigh. "Apart does not mean without contact, Weiss. Relationships cannot be cut so cleanly."

"I know, but... I think we both need to allow our wounds to heal on our own for now." Weiss defended. "I will speak with her again, just... not yet."

Winter just huffed. "Not yet." She repeated, glancing over at the blonde, who was busy getting her coffee. "And this Yang, what is she to you?"

Weiss barely had to think about that, though, was still a tad uncertain about what to call them at the current time. They were friends, but had expressed feelings for one another, but also had not actually done anything yet. "She's... my best friend, and I care for her deeply."

Winter's expression remained neutral, at it had the entire time, making it difficult to figure out what she was thinking. "And what of her." She looked over to find Yang, who was now standing there with a fresh, steaming cup of coffee. "What is Weiss to you?"

Yang just smiled warmly. "Just like she said. She's my best friend, and a care about her a whole lot." She declared, handing the older sibling the coffee.

Winter merely nodded, saying nothing, only staring at the blonde, then shifted her gaze to Weiss. As she opened her mouth to speak, the sound of a door opening drew the trio's attention. Past the living area, a small figure appeared from Yang's bedroom, multicolored hair frizzy and unkempt, seemingly clad in naught but a large, dark-grey hoodie. She stared at Winter, then looked to Yang, then Weiss, before fumbling with the bathroom door behind her, and vanishing inside.

"And who might that be?" Winter questioned, looking back to her sister.

Weiss was not expecting to see their guest awake, much less actually come out when she could surely hear the three talking in the main room. "Oh, that's Neo, Yang's... well, Yang's ex. She's staying here because of some... unfortunate circumstances."

Winter just sighed again, pinching the bridge of her nose to seemingly push a headache away. "Weiss, all I ask is for you to be honest with me. I understand you have gone through a difficult transition as of late, but keeping me in the dark won't help anyone."

Weiss furrowed her brow for a moment, not realizing that she was keeping her sister in the dark about anything. "I am being honest with you, Winter. Ask me anything, and I will tell you." She assured, figuring there were questions.

"Are you sleeping with these women?" Winter inquired, quite bluntly, causing the other two's eyes to widen.

"Of course not!" Weiss quickly burst. "Yang and I are... figuring things out... and Neo is only here because she doesn't feel safe in her own apartment!"

Winter narrowed her brow. "Figuring things out? So you are involved then."

Weiss remained quiet for a moment, merely looking over at Yang, who was now sitting on the closer arm of the couch, awkwardly watching the pair's interaction. Then she smiled, looking back to her sister. "Yes, we are."

"Did this occur before or after you left Vernal?" Winter continued, taking a sip from her coffee.

"After of course! I would never cheat on anyone!" Weiss burst again.

"And yet there had to be precedent. It has been less than a month since you left Vernal, and you are already involved in another relationship." Winter shot. "You must understand how this looks."

Weiss just let out a sigh, realizing that her sister had a point. "Yes, I know, but I spent that entire time thinking about this. I didn't just jump into anything, and it wasn't a rash decision."

"And yet here we are, a year later, in another woman's apartment, in another sudden relationship." Winter added, sipping from her coffee. "At least this one is hospitable."

"Vernal was hospitable!" Weiss quickly defended. "At least, once you got to know her... But still, this was not sudden, Winter. I've been here since we broke up, because I was offered a place to stay, but this only happened recently. In fact, Yang was in a relationship of her own when I first got here."

"With the girl in the bathroom?" Winter guessed, quirking a brow.

"No, no, she was her... casual partner a few months ago." Weiss clarified. "We only recently ran into her again, and she was... hurt. So Yang offered to help in any way she could."

Winter was quiet for a moment, briefly glancing past her sister, likely at the bathroom door. "Admirable, if unorthodox. Is there a second bedroom?"

Weiss shook her head. "She has been sleeping on the couch, while Yang and I... are in her bedroom... That other door is the bathroom, and she was only in the bedroom because we were making breakfast and didn't want to wake her, since sleeping for her has been difficult."

Winter was quiet again, seemingly processing the information. "May I ask what happened?"

Weiss briefly glanced over at her friend, before looking back. "I don't know if it's my place to say."

"She was physically hurt by someone she was in a casual relationship with. We saw her while at the mall, and I couldn't just let her be, so I invited her to stay here for a while." Yang explained, surprisingly confidently, considering how she had been since the older sibling arrived.

"Then you did the right thing. Has a police report been filed?" Winter inquired, gazing between the other two.

Yang shook her head. "Not yet. She's just... needs some time."

Winter nodded a bit. "Very well..." She accepted, turning to her sister. "Back to the subject at hand. I cannot ignore my concerns, Weiss. I understood your desire to break away from father, I accepted your relationship with Vernal, as sudden as it was, and trusted that she would take care of you in my stead." Winter took a long sip from her coffee. "That trust was well placed, it is your actions in the relationship that concern me, you have left a broken heart in your wake."

Weiss was taken aback. "You... think I wanted to break up with Vernal? To leave a woman that not only made me happy, but gave me a new life?" She questioned. "I loved her, Winter, I still do, and I told her that... but she couldn't say it back. Even after over a year and a half of not only being together, but living together. I know I hurt her, and every day I wish I hadn't, but it wasn't a hastily-made decision. Getting together with her was the hastily-made decision, that I embraced due to the freedom it gave me. I spent weeks examining our relationship, and talking to her, but in the end... I couldn't do it. I wasn't truly happy with Vernal, I'm not sure I ever was."

Winter let out a sigh. "No, Weiss, I don't believe you wanted this, but I do know that the girl you have left behind is in mourning, and lacking the active support that you have found here. A relationship is more than growing or waning, and when it ends, it must be resolved, else the heart cannot heal. Vernal is not healing from this."

Weiss only furrowed her brow, specifically at that last part. "How would you know that?"

"I spoke to her myself." Winter informed, to the huge surprise of the other two.

"You... did?" Weiss managed, struggling to find the words to respond. "How... How is she doing?"

"You should ask her yourself, Weiss." Winter sternly recommended, taking another sip from her coffee.

"I know, but I can't yet. Things are... still too fresh." Weiss admitted, shoulders slumping. "Is she at least okay?"

Winter was quiet briefly. "She is alive, if you can call her condition living."

Weiss felt her eyes widen "What... do you mean by that?" She hesitantly asked.

"I mean that she needs her family, Weiss." Winter clarified.

"Hasn't... my mom been seeing her?" Yang wondered from the couch, to which the two siblings looked over at her, the older one with a much more stern expression, causing the blonde to shrink a bit. "S-Sorry... It's just, those two have always had a special kinda relationship, with one would always being there for the other when they were alone... and mom said she'd visited Vernal a few times..."

Winter only nodded. "She has, rest assured."

Weiss breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good to hear, thank you." Yang had told her that, but it was nice to know for certain. "Now, I need to say something." She added, taking a deep breath. Her sister had come in being stern and blunt, after not seeing her for months, so, it was time to channel that... to stand up for herself. "I don't appreciate you making assumptions about my situation, Winter. I didn't just jump into a relationship with Yang. It took a lot of careful thought, consideration, and time. Neo is not some kind of mistress or booty call for either of us. She is a friend that needs our help, and that's exactly what we're doing. I know Vernal is hurting, and I will reach out to her when I'm ready, but I'm dealing with things at my own pace, and I would appreciate it if you showed respect in my friend's home."

Winter merely gazed down sternly at her sister for several, long moments, before a small smile tugged at her lips, and her eyes softened. "You've grown, dear sister."

Weiss nodded, a smile spreading across her own face. "I have. You've been... rather absent from my life for a long time, aside from the odd scroll call and a couple visits."

Winter let out a slight sigh. "I apologize for that. I will make greater efforts to maintain contact in the future. I..." Her words caught in her throat, instead choosing to lean down and wrap her sister in a hug. "I've missed you dearly."

Weiss immediately reciprocated the hug, savouring its warmth. She had not hugged her own sister in... far too long. "I've missed you too, Winter." She mumbled into her chest. "I've been trying to improve myself, reflect on my actions this past year... Yang has been of great help, alongside the rest of my... extended family."

After a few moments, Winter loosened the embrace, looking over at the blonde sitting on the arm of the couch, smirking a bit. "Well, I look forward to getting to know her then."

A brief silence followed. "So, uh... You wanna stay for lunch?" Yang hesitantly wondered.

Winter nodded with a smile. "I would love to. Thank you, Yang."

Suddenly, the bathroom door squeaked open, drawing the trio's attention, and a couple seconds later, Neo slipped out and into the bedroom in a rush, leaving the other women, mostly Winter, a bit confused. Then Yang cleared her throat, causing the siblings to turn their gaze to her. "I'll uh, go explain things, kay?" She offered, hopping up off the couch and making her way farther into the apartment.

Weiss just smiled before looking up at her sister. "Okay. Now come, Winter, sit down." She requested, fully separating from the hug and gesturing toward the kitchen table. "The chefs at the mansion may have been world-class, but even they don't have anything on Yang's cooking."

This was not what Ruby had in mind when she pictured this night.

A few weeks ago, Raven had given her some admittedly excellent advice about talking to Pyrrha about their occasionally-troubled communication, and... she finally gathered the courage to do it. So, Ruby made a plan. She would head out from work early, stop on the way home to pick up some ingredients for dinner, lay out some comfortable clothes for her wife, and make her favourite for dinner. Then, they would finally talk, and things would get better. Unfortunately... things did not exactly go according to plan, as instead, Ruby ended up face down in their worship room pillows, with Pyrrha's entire body pushing her against the mattress as she aggressively pumped one of their strap-ons deep into her core, filling the room with whines and moans.

They were supposed to talk. How did she let this happen?

Well, for the first while, everything was going as planned. Ruby left work early with no issues, picked up the necessary ingredients from the store with no delay, easily found a set of lounge-wear that Pyrrha liked, and got started on dinner, all before her wife returned home. Coco already had leftovers earlier before heading to another AA meeting, so there was nothing to worry about there, and even when the redhead arrived, things seemed... normal at first. She entered the apartment, greeted Ruby, remarked that the food smelled delicious, and headed to their bedroom, seemingly to get changed into the clothes that were laid out for her. Nothing out of the ordinary.

It was not until almost ten minutes later, and Ruby felt Pyrrha press her body up against her from behind that she got the feeling something was up. At first, she thought her wife was simply going to hug her, but then... a pair of black, damp panties was soon dangling in front of her eyes... Or not. Ruby did not even get the chance to utter a single word before she was ordered to turn off the stove, and open her mouth, before being gagged with those panties. A moment later, Pyrrha began massaging every part of her body that was within reach. Rubbing, squeezing, pinching, scratching, teasing and overall riling her up until she could barely stand, needing to brace against the counter in order to not collapse.

Suddenly, Ruby was spun around, picked up by her thighs, and plopped onto the kitchen island, allowing her to see that her wife was already not wearing any pants, nor underwear, and her dress shirt was unbuttoned, revealing her deep-green bra. Oh yeah, they were definitely not talking anytime soon. And that guess was solidified when Pyrrha grabbed the hem of both her sweatpants and underwear, roughly pulled them off, eliciting a gasp as Ruby's bare rear came into contact with the cool granite of the counter, and discarded them. Then, upon pushing her legs apart, the redhead stared down at her nether region, licked her lips, and dove in, so to speak, wrapping her arms around the younger woman's thighs and burying her tongue between her wet lower lips, passionately eating her out, right then and there. It was safe to say that she did not last long.

After Ruby finished, quite hard, she thought they might be done, but no... not by a long shot. Instead, Pyrrha picked her up again and carried her to the worship room, practically dropping her down onto the bed, and finished stripping in front of her. She then climbed onto the mattress, tore Ruby's T-shirt and bra, and tossed them aside. Apparently, her wife had absolutely no interest in pleasuring herself, as she just got up, headed to the closet, picked out one of their strap-ons, and... well, plowed her with it... She could not keep track of the number of positions that she was flipped and moved into.

After orgasming... however many times, Ruby could not think straight anymore... She was absolutely exhausted, and by that point, she was unable to even feel her legs, let alone the motivation to discuss communication issues with her wife. So, she allowed Pyrrha to pamper her with a nice, hot bath. Hopefully they would be able to talk after that.

Unfortunately, that did not happen. It never did. Her partner merely brought her to bed, given how she could not even do it herself.

It was so difficult to talk to Pyrrha sometimes... Ruby was so used to letting her take the reigns in their relationship that she had no idea how to pump the breaks every time the redhead had... other ideas when she wanted to discuss something. She felt... frustrated, because it made her feel like she was being babied by her own wife, which had already happened a lot in her life due to her stature, voice and shy nature. Ruby knew for a fact that Pyrrha never lied or hid anything from her, but... she also wondered if she could sense when the younger woman wanted to bring up an issue, so... she did something to avoid it. This was... something that the couple had never had to confront before. Ever since they starting dating, their relationship had been basically perfect. Pyrrha had always been perceptive and understanding, which... made Ruby feel like she was being stupid, paranoid and unfair.

This was probably just a misunderstanding, but... she should still talk to Pyrrha about it anyway. It was just... her wife was always so concerned with making feel good, and... Ruby could never resist. Especially when the redhead was horny before she could even get the chance to say anything... Much like the current night. Gods, that woman aroused was a damn force of nature. Getting horny while they were talking was one thing, but if she was horny before Ruby ever saw her... It was already over. Pyrrha became... so very intimidating, in just the way that Ruby loved, which made it even worse when she wanted to talk. Now, she was left to wonder how she was every going to manage to talk to Pyrrha, given how every time she ended up banging her until could can barely think.

What am I gonna do?
