Thank you so much Leann Nickerson, carmengmtr and Blondie 20000 for you feedback and encouragement. I'm not 100% crazy about this chapter but I finally sucked it up and posted it so I can move on with the story.

I've written Jo so 'practically perfect in every way' that she's turning into friggin Mary Poppins (I just love Mary Poppins) so I needed to show that Jo is still a teen and can make stupid decisions and that's exactly what she does here.

Oh and I don't remember in the show them talking about legit doctors too much but I'm guessing that hunters had a couple in their back pockets who could help them out when needed including taking care of a woman that my have been seduced or raped by a supernatural being and needing a real doctor help them with any possible unwanted pregnancies'.

Thank you again and enjoy!

Chapter 36

Sam watched as Camie got out of the car and jogged up to her front door. He was still a bit shell-shocked at what she had told him tonight.

If Camie telling him that she was pregnant had surprised him last night Her telling him she wanted to have an abortion tonight had him utterly flabbergasted.

Then Camie dropped an even bigger bombshell when she told him she spoke to Jo and had confess that even though she didn't know what his family and extended family did she knew they weren't just mechanics or scrapyard/tow truck drivers.

She told him that she had asked Jo about knowing somebody that could do an abortion without her needing her parents' permission. Of course Jo knew somebody…they all did. He chewed on his lower lip as he pulled away once she was inside her house and headed home.

He couldn't pretend he wasn't relieved that Camie wanted to terminate the pregnancy. He knew neither of them were ready for the responsibility but a part of him was sad too. He loved Camie and the baby was a part of both of them. Maybe once they graduated college, they could start a family.

He was so deep in thought he didn't remember the driving back home. Getting out of the car he went into the house and was shocked to hear Jo and Dean arguing. He stood in the doorway not sure what to do. He knew Jo and Dean must argue…all couples do but he never actually witness his brother and girlfriend speak so heatedly towards each other before.

"Sorry," he mumbled embarrassed at catching them in such a private moment as he started for the stairs.

Dean turned and looked at his brother and pointed at him. "Don't think you're going anywhere because this concerns you."

"Dean," Jo snapped.

"Don't 'Dean' me," he said before turning back towards Sam. "Did you know your girlfriend asked my girlfriend to set up an illegal abortion for her?!"

"Ummm" Sam said as he looked over at Jo.

"'Ummm' Dammit Sam answer me!" Dean shouted.

"Yeah…she kinda told me," Sam said surprised by Dean's reaction.

"And?" Dean asked knowingly.

Sam shot a look at Jo in confusion before responding, "she told me she talked to Jo…I guess she's seen enough while we've been dating to kinda guess we would know somebody who could do it without her parents' permission."

Dean gaped at his brother and girlfriend. "And what you told her that was true?"

"Well it is," Sam replied. "Doc Hamilton's done them…I've heard Dad and Caleb talked about the procedures he's done."

"Right…abortions for victims who were raped by a supernatural being…he does it because it's the only safe options for those women. Not for teenagers who don't want to tell their parents they screwed up! Jo called him tonight while I was giving Colleen a bath and you know what he did. He told her tell me, Dad, Bobby and anyone else we work with to lose his number!"

Sam blinked in shock before seeing how Jo hung her head. "Oh shit."

"Yeah 'oh shit' is right," Dean said as he took a deep breath to calm down. "An hour…I ate crow for a fucking hour to calm him down and get him to agree to not shut us out. He's one of three legit doctors that we can go to when we need a real doctor for ourselves or for somebody we're helping."

"Dean…Sammy didn't know that Camie asked me." She repeated for the thousand time since she told him what happened.

"I don't care!" He shouted.

"You asked me to talk to her and I did!" She shouted back.

"To get an idea of what she was thinking…not to try and set up an illegal abortion with one of our contacts! Yeah maybe Sam didn't know earlier before talking to Camie tonight but I saw the relief in his eyes when he walked through the door!"

"Fine be pissed at me but Sam didn't ask me to do anything. It's my stupid rookie mistake Dean." Jo cried in frustration.

Dean shook his head in anger, "if you thought telling Dad about getting Camie knocked up was bad…wait until we tell him and Bobby about Doc Hamilton."

"Why do we have to tell them?" Sam asked, unable to keep the fear out of his voice.

Jo sank down onto the couch, "we can't take a chance of Doc Hamilton outing me. That would be worst."

Dean sat down next to Jo and sighed when he saw the tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry I screamed at you," he told her as he wrapped an arm around her.

Jo nodded her head slightly before she stood up. "I'm going to check on Colleen," she told the brothers before heading out of the room.

Dean ran his hand through his hair as Sam sat down across from him. "Dean, I get. This is bad and we need to tell Dad but I didn't know Camie had asked Jo to actually set something up and I sure the Hell didn't know Jo called Doc Hamilton."

"You don't get it," Dean said sadly. "Jo was so caught up in trying to keep you out of trouble she did something Bobby and Dad won't forget any time soon. She was impulsive and reckless. You think Bobby will take her on a hunt now. All her hard work to prove herself shot down with that one phone call."

"I…they may understand once they calm down." Sam argued.

Dean snorted dismissively, "doubt that. Jo coming to stay while Mom was in lockdown and Dad was on his hunt was their way of giving us their blessing and trust. Now that's gone. We'll be lucky if Bobby still gives me permission to see Jo."

"Permission?" Sam asked in confusion.

"Yeah permission…Sam I'm going to be twenty in a few weeks. Jo's not even seventeen yet. I need Bobby' permission to be with Jo or I'm breaking the law."

Sam stared at his brother. He never thought about the age difference between Dean and Jo like that. He remembered the fight the night Dean and Jo talked to their parents and Uncle Bobby but that seemed like ages ago and he couldn't imagine Dean and Jo being forced to stop seeing each other because of this.

"Shit Dean," Sam said sadly.

Dean looked at his brother and told him the news he knew Sam dreaded hearing. "Sammy, there's more. Dad called before you got home. He said he's driving through the night and will be here late tomorrow afternoon."

"Oh," Sam said as he chewed on his lower lip.

Dean level his gaze on his brother, "look you need to come clean Sam…about everything. Hunting…Stanford…the baby. All of it but not tomorrow. Colleen deserves a real Christmas starting with putting the cookies out for Santa tomorrow night with Mom and Dad and coming downstairs to see everything under the tree Christmas morning."

Sam nodded his head, "yeah of course she does."

"And you need to talk to Camie and tell her that Jo was mistaken…that she doesn't know anyone who can do an illegal abortion and if that is what you both want then you two will need to talk with her parents and Mom and Dad."

"I know," he admitted as he looked down at his hands. "Dean, I get why you're pissed. I…when Camie told me tonight about the abortion I was so relieved…sad but relieved and didn't think about how this could impact anyone but me and Camie."

Dean swallowed as he looked at his brother…one word in that sentence stuck out like a sore thumb. "Sam do you want to terminate the pregnancy?"

The younger man shrugged his shoulders as he hung his head, "it's what Camie wants…"

Dean pushed his anger aside as he reached over and touched his brother's knee. "Didn't ask what Camie wanted…Sammy do you want the baby?"

Sammy chewed on his lower lip as he finally looked up at his brother. "It's stupid…it's the right decision."

"Yeah but you know…you can ummm…feel sad about it." Dean said.

"It's just that I was playing with Colleen today and I can't imagine our lives without her. What if her mother had one?" He said softly.

Dean nodded his head in understanding, "did you two really talk or did you both just figured the other would want an abortion and didn't discuss it?"

"I guess the second thing," Sam admitted.

"What is it with you two. You both geniuses but you don't talk through anything," Dean said with a shake of his head.

"Come on Dean, it's ultimately Camie's decision. She's the one who you know…has to have the baby…not me."

Dean studied his brother and knew he was right. It was Camie's decision but he imagined the young mother must be terrified and was probable making the decision out of fear.

"Sam, you need to talk to her. For real. This isn't breaking curfew or getting a bad grade. This is a baby and yeah getting rid of it makes sense for the obvious reason but have a friggin serious conversation with Camie. You need to know if it's really what you both want because there's no going back once it's done."

"What would you do if you and Jo….it you guys got pregnant?" Sam asked.

"I don't know," he told his brother honestly. Him and Jo had talked about their future and kids definitely was part of it but not now. Dean looked up when Jo finally came back into the room, "everything okay?" He asked.

"Colleen wet the bed. I cleaned her up, changed her and her sheets." She explained.

Dean went over and kissed Jo on the forehead, "I think we're all exhausted and tomorrow is going to be a long day. I say we hit the hay."

"Yeah…umm Jo…you know…I…well…yeah…you know…thanks for…umm…having my back." Sam stammered.

"You never have to thank me for that," Jo said as she went over and hugged the other teen.

"Don't worry about Colleen, I'll get up with her if she wakes up again," Sam offered when Jo went over to stand next to Dean.

"Okay, get some sleep Sam and if you want, you can come with me to the shop tomorrow," Dean offered to get him out of the house and away from their Mom's observant eyes.

"Thanks," Sam said as he started upstairs, wondering how so much all their lives had been changed in less than two days.

Dean watched as Jo she sat on the edge of the bed and brushed her hair. Swallowing he made his way around the bed and knelt before the woman he loved. "I'm sorry…I know I was an ass earlier. I never should've yelled at you like that. I'm so sorry Baby."

Jo nodded her head, "I know and I sorry too. I should've talked to you first but when I got the text from Camie saying Sam agreed to it. I just plough forward without thinking."

Dean frowned, "what text… you never mentioned a text."

"Camie texted me earlier."

"Camie texted you and said her and Sam talked and he agreed to the abortion?"

"Yeah, why?" Jo asked in confusion as she put her brush down on the end table as Dean stood up and went around to the other side as she slipped under the covers.

She willingly went into his arms and rested her head on his chest and frowned when he sighed and said, "because either Sam's lying when he told me that Camie basically told him she was having an abortion and that they didn't really talk or…"

"Or Camie was lying in her text that they talked and agreed that an abortion was the right thing to do." Jo finish.

"I don't know Jo. It feels like Camie is calling all the shots here and she pulled you into doing her dirty work."

"Dean… I know that by nature we see the worst in people but I don't think Camie is deliberately playing us."

"Yeah maybe not but I still think she's pushing for it," Dean explained.

"Well it is her body," Jo reasoned.

"So what…Sammy doesn't get a say?"

"No of course he does but he's not the one carrying a baby for nine months and then giving birth." She said.

Dean pondered what Jo was saying as he entwined their hands together. "Would you want one if it was us?"

Jo sat up as Dean's words sank in, "whoa, where did that come from?"

"Are you saying you haven't thought about it since we found out? What would we do if it were us?"

Jo chewed on her lower lip, "yeah of course I have."

"And would you want one…an abortion? Even if I wanted the baby?" He asked as he sat up.

"Are you saying Sam wants the baby?" Jo asked.

Dean shrugged his shoulders, "not saying he wants to be a daddy but he's upset too."

"Oh," Jo said in understanding.

"So?" Dean prompted.

Jo smiled, "Dean, there is no decision. Even if it happened now we would step up and be the best mommy and daddy possibly because any baby we make will be made out of love."

"Even if it means you wouldn't have your chance to really hunt?" He asked.

Jo grinned at Dean, "hunting is important to me but it will never come before us."

Dean reached out and squeezed Jo's hand, "hey…how bad do you think Bobby will take this?"

Jo swallowed as she shrugged her shoulders, "you know my uncle. Nothing pisses him off more than being reckless and stupid…so he's going to be pretty pissed since I did both. I can already tell you he's not going to let me go on a hunt even after I graduate in June."

"Jo, what about us?"

The blonde eyes widened, "you don't think…"

"Baby…if he decides we can't be trusted to make smart decisions…" Dean told her gently.

"You mean me…I'm the one who made the rash decision…not you." Jo said as she realized what Dean was saying was true. Her uncle could decide that this proves that she was too immature to be in a relationship with Dean.

Dean saw the tears in Jo's eyes and pulled her towards him. "We'll figure it out," he swore as he leaned down and kissed her. The kiss quickly turned passionate as the young couple need to be together became urgent.
