Loki stood in the field, holding up Excalibur, conjuring a blizzard.
Thor landed next to him. A blinding bolt of lightning struck down from above, colliding on Mjolnir. The explosion was massive.
Captain America pulled on his helmet and shield.
Tony welded his Iron Man helmet. Light slipped down over Iron Man's eye holes.
Kitsune attached a glove gauntlet with her rounds on her wrist. A blue light charged.
Hawkeye slipped on his quiver of arrows.
Quinjet
Captain America, Kitsune and Hawkeye walked towards and into the Quinjet. A young SHIELD pilot looked and stood in their way.
"You are not authorized to be here..." he said.
"Son... just don't." Captain America said.
Helicarrier Bridge
Fury looked the window of the ship, contemplating. Agent Hill walked up to him, knowing.
"Sir." Hill said.
"Agent Hill?" Fury said.
"Those cards, they were in Coulson's locker, not in his jacket." Hill said.
"They needed the push." Fury was holding Coulson's cards.
A loud noise screeched. Fury looked out to see Iron Man flying off as well as the Quinjet.
"They found it. Get our communications back up, whatever you have to do. I want eyes on everything." Fury said.
"Yes, sir." Hill said.
New York City Skyline- Stark Tower
Iron Man arrived at Stark Tower where Selvig activated the CMS device, holding the Tesseract.
"Sir, I took off the arc reactor. The device is already self-sustained." Jarvis said.
"Shut it down, Dr. Selvig." Tony said.
"It's too late! It can't stop now. She wants to show us something! A new universe." Selvig said.
"Okay." Iron Man said.
Iron Man aimed his hands toward the CMS and fired. The energy from his boosters shattered with a deafening crack! Selvig fell backwards. Down below, citizens of New York looked up at Stark Tower. Iron Man stared in disbelief at the CMS ... unharmed.
"The barrier is pure energy. It's unbreachable. The Mark VII is not ready to be deployed." Jarvis said.
"Skip the spinning rims. We're on the clock." Tony said.
Tony landed his suit and went through the gauntlet and unsuited him. Kuri looked up at him, smiling. They proceed to walk into the penthouse.
Stark Penthouse
Kuri walked in, holding the scepter. Tony casually walked down the steps, towards the bar.
"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." Kuri said.
"Uh...actually, I'm planning to threaten you." Tony said.
"You should have left your armor on for that." Kuri said.
"Yeah, it's seen a bit of mileage. You've got the blue stick of destiny. Would you like a drink?" Tony said.
"Stalling me won't change anything." Kuri said.
"No, no, no! Threatening. No drink? You sure? I'm having one." Tony said.
"The Chitauri are coming, nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" Kuri said.
"The Avengers." Tony said. Kuri looked at him, confused. "It's what we call ourselves, sort of like a team. `Earth's Mightiest Heroes' type of thing."
"Yes, I've met them." Kuri said.
"Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one." Tony smiled. "But, let's do a head count here. Loki and Thor, the demi-Gods; a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend; a man with breath-taking anger management issues; a few master assassins, and you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."
"That was the plan." Kuri said.
"Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you." Tony said.
From underneath the bar table, Tony pulled on colantotte bracelets, a honing device.
"I have an army." Kuri said.
"We have a Hulk." Tony said.
"I thought the beast had wandered off." Kuri said.
"You're missing the point. There's no throne, there is no version of this, where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge it." Tony said.
Kuri slowly walked up to him; raising the scepter. "How will your friends have time for me, when they're so busy fighting you?"
Kuri tapped Tony on the chest with his scepter. PING! Nothing.
Confused, Kuri tried again. PING! Nothing.
"It should work." Kuri said.
"Well, performance issues. You know?" Tony said.
In anger, Kuri grabbed Tony by the throat and flung him across the room.
"Jarvis. Anytime now." Tony said.
Kuri grabbed Tony by the throat again.
"You will all fall before me." Kuri said.
Kuri threw Tony out the window. Tony freefell down the tower.
From behind Kuri, an elevator opened and a red pod shot out.
The pod laser signaled the colantotte bracelets on Tony. The pod began to transform into the Mark VII suit.
It latched onto Tony. Iron Man. The suit flew up before he hit the ground or the gazing people. Kuri looked up, angry.
"And there's one other person you pissed off! His name was Phil." Tony said.
Kuri raised the scepter. Iron Man fired at Loki, sending her on her ass.
Stark Tower
Selvig looked up at the sky. The Tesseract's energy beamed into the sky. The beam then formed a vortex, which then opened up another portal.
Vastness of Space
A hole in space ripped open, and from it, the Chitauri Army spilled out in flying chariots, carrying energy rifles with a bayonet on the end.
Inside the Suit
"Right. Army." Tony said.
Iron Man flew up towards the portal. From his shoulders, a miniature multiple rocket launcher, popped out and fired. Like the Jericho Missile, several targets were taken down unlike a missile. It's useless. Thousands of Chitauri flew out.
Iron Man flew towards the city.
Manhattan
The Chitauri unleashed. New Yorkers filled the streets, staring at the fire fight in the distance. BOOM! The Chitauri unleashed blasts as it went, blowing up cars, setting storefronts aflame.
An explosion ripped out the windows of the top corner of buildings. Flame and stone rain down. A domino-effect explosions rippled across the bridge.
Stark Tower
Kuri walked onto the balcony as the sounds of the Chitauri rang out. She admired her soon to be kingdom. Loki landed on the Tower
Kuri turned to his enemy.
"Kuri! Turn off the Tesseract or I'll destroy it!" Loki said.
"You can't. There is no stopping it. There is only the war!" Kuri said.
"So be it." Loki said.
Loki and Kuri rushed at each other. They and their weapons collided. The two battled - Kuri unleashing pent-up rage, Loki having no choice but to defend himself.
Manhattan
Soldiers and cops had taken positions covering the streets.
They saw from the sky, Iron Man lead a trail of Chitauri towards his tower.
Sky
The Quinjet boomed into the city.
"Stark, we're heading north east." Kitsune said.
"What, did you stop for drive-thru? Swing up park, I'm gonna lay 'em out for you." Tony said.
Stark Tower
Iron Man banked around his tower. Saw Kuri and Loki still going at it. Iron Man swooped down the street, causing a Chitauri to crash.
Flying up, Iron Man put the following Chitauri in view of the Quinjet. Kitsune took out machine gun and fired at the Chitauri.
"Sir, we have more incoming." Jarvis said.
"Fine. Let's keep them occupied." Tony said.
Iron Man headed back to the portal.
Outside Stark Tower
Kuri and Loki battled savagely. Kuri fired a black ball of energy from her hands, sending Loki sliding across the floor.
Quinjet
Hawkeye looked out to his left window, finding a target.
"Yeah." Hawkeye said.
"See them." Kitsune said.
Hawkeye banked the jet towards Stark Tower. Aimed the minigun at Kuri. Kuri aimed a black orb at the Quinjet and fired a blast of black energy. Loki got to his feet, tackling Kuri down hard.
The Quinjet was soon caught on fire. Hawkeye maneuvered one wing of the jet. They spun and slow. Dropping out of the air as it passed over skyscrapers. Then... they slammed into the street.
With everyone okay, Hawkeye and Kitsune unfastened their seatbelts and opened the ramp. Captain America ran down, followed by Hawkeye and Kitsune. Each one had their respected weapons in hand.
Four Way Street
The trio arrived in the middle of a four-way street. Suddenly, the city lurched to a stop. A deep, primal rage bellowed out. With that roar, a shadow comes over them.
Vastness of Space
From the portal, a Chitauri Leviathan flew out! Carrying hundreds of soldiers, the Chitauri Leviathan passed over the trio.
Bridge Street
They looked up, out of their element. From both sides, Chitauri soldiers climbed off and attached themselves to the sides of the buildings, sliding down. Some crashed into these buildings and began firing from their energy rifles at innocent people.
"Stark, are you seeing this?" Captain America said.
"I'm seeing, still working on believing. Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?" Tony said.
"Banner?" Captain America said.
"Just keep me posted. Jarvis, find me a soft spot." Tony said.
Iron Man quietly flew behind and parallel with the Chitauri Leviathan.
Stark Tower
Loki held down Kuri's face straight ahead, forcing her to watch the city falling to ash.
"Look at this! Look around you! You think this madness will end with your rule?" Loki said.
Kuri tried to look away. "It's too late. It's too late to stop it."
"No. We can. Together." Loki said. "You know the spell."
Kuri looked at Loki, showing a sign of hope. Then... Kuri fired a black orb into Loki's stomach. Loki keeled over.
"I don't need you," Kuri said.
Loki got up, kicked Kuri and lifted him into the air. Loki then slammed him down, hard. Kuri, bleeding, rolled over the edge. Loki looked down. Kuri was riding on a flying chariot. Dozens of Chitauri followed her lead.
Bridge Street
The trio ran behind upside taxis. They looked up and saw Kuri taking her band down the street and fired at the street in a chain of explosions. Smashing cars and hurling people as it went off in one final conflagration.
Terrified people ran from Kuri, looking over their shoulders. Captain America looked down the bridge.
"Those people need assistance down there." Captain America said.
Chitauri Soldiers that had landed near them began firing at them. Kitsune pulled both pistols and fired. Turned to Captain America.
"We got this. It's good. Go!" Kitsune said.
"You think you can hold them off?" Captain America said to Hawkeye said.
"Captain." Captain America pulled a trigger on his bow; a narrow was mechanically chosen. "It would be my genuine pleasure."
Hawkeye shot an arrow into the creature's head, gaining a few seconds for Captain America as he fell down the bridge, followed by an explosion.
Captain America raced over to the plaza, jumping over dozens of exploding cars.
Hawkeye ran over a bus full of people. From the windows, small children were held by their parents for Hawkeye to pull them out to safety. He ran over to the jammed door and jerkily opened it.
People began to run out.
Kitsune emptied out her clips. Hawkeye fired arrows into the ranks of the Chitauri, hitting his mark each time he shot.
Manhattan
The cops continuously fired at the flying chariots. It's pretty pointless. A young cop ran over to his police sergeant.
"We need to get out! They gotta bring the National Guard!" A young cop said.
"National Guard? Does the army know what's happening here?" Police Sergeant said.
"Do we?" Young cop said.
Captain America jumped in front of them. They looked up at this ridiculous looking man.
"I need men in these buildings. There are people inside that can run into the line of fire. You take them through the basement or through the subway. You keep them off the streets. I need a perimeter as far back as 39th." Captain America said.
"Why the hell should I take orders from you?" Police Sergeant said.
Suddenly, an explosion came up from behind Captain America. An energy blast was blocked by his Shield. Two Chitauri Soldiers attacked. The cops watched in shock as Captain America fought them off with ease. The Sergeant turned to his officer.
"I need men in those buildings, lead the people down and away from the streets. I need a perimeter as far back as 39th." The Sergeant said.
Sky Line
Iron Man swerved around a building and faced the Chitauri Leviathan. He pulled out his miniature multiple rocket launcher and fired. The Chitauri Leviathan roared in annoyance. The Chitauri Leviathan turned to him.
"We got his attention. What the hell is step two?!" Iron Man said.
Iron Man flew away.
Bridge Street
Hawkeye tripped a Chitauri soldier and rammed an arrow down its throat. Kitsune got her hands on an energy rifle and stickfought them.
Captain America joined back in and using his shield, swapped and whacked oncoming Chitauri Soldiers. It was all too much on them, until...
Lightning struck down from the sky, channeling the blast, firing the electricity out at the Chitauri Soldiers around them.
They were blasted back in a massive shockwave. The Chitauri Soldiers convulsed, and dropped dead to the ground. Thor touched down.
"What's the story upstairs?" Captain America said.
"The powers surrounding the cube is impenetrable." Thor said.
"Thor is right. We gotta deal with these guys." Iron Man said.
"How do we do this?" Kitsune said.
"As a team." Captain America said.
"I have unfinished business with Kuri." Loki said.
"Yeah, get in line." Hawkeye said.
"Save it. Kuri's gonna keep this fight focused on us and that's what we need. Without her these things could run wild. We got Stark up top, he's gonna need us..." Captain America said.
Just then, Banner arrived on a small motor bike. Getting off, he looked around the city.
"So, this all seems horrible." Banner said.
"I've seen worse." Kitsune said.
"Sorry." Banner said.
"No. We could use a little worse." Kitsune said.
"Stark? We got him." Captain America said.
Inside the Suit
"Banner?" Iron Man said.
"Just like you said." Captain America said.
"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you." Iron Man said.
Iron Man came out from behind a building. The Chitauri Leviathan followed, impatiently.
Bridge Street
The rest of the Avengers looked up, getting ready and standing still.
"I... I don't see how that's a party..." Kitsune said.
Iron Man swooped down the street. The Chitauri Leviathan also swooped down, barreling down the street like a freight train that kept building and building its intensity. Banner looked behind.
Captain America looked at him. Banner began to walk towards the monster.
"Dr. Banner. Now might be a really good time for you to get angry." Captain America said.
"That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry." Banner said.
Banner's body started to swell and stretch and harden. Green shot through his body. The Hulk.
SMASH! Hulk popped the Chitauri Leviathan in the nose. The creature flipped over a 360.
Iron Man, in mid-flight, extended his arm out and there was a rocket, ready to shoot. Iron Man fired—the rocket hit a soft spot. Large Chitauri Leviathan were blown completely away. Real pain from the Chitauri Leviathan. Other pieces of meat caught fire and withdrew...sizzled as they hit the pavement. Captain America raised his shield to block them.
From above and on the buildings, the Chitauri Army watched in horror as a group of Earth's Mightiest Heroes found themselves united against a common threat. To fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! The Avengers Assemble!
Sky
Kuri watched below, motionless.
"Send the rest." Kuri said.
Vastness of Space
From the portal, thousands more of Chitauri Soldiers and even more Chitauri Leviathans flew out!
Bridge Street
The Avengers looked up. Way out of their element.
"Guys." Kitsune said.
"Call it, Cap." Iron Man said.
"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or your turn it to ash." Captain America said.
"Wanna give me a lift?" Hawkeye said.
"Right. Better clench up, Legolas." Iron Man said.
Iron Man lifted Hawkeye up to the building.
"Thor, you've gotta try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You've got the lightning. Light the bastards up." Captain America said. Thor flew up; to Rei. "You and me, we stay here on the ground, keep the fighting here. And Hulk. SMASH."
The Hulk smiled a most magnificent grin and leapt soaring high up into the nearest building, Hulk ran up the wall hit several Chitauri soldiers, snapping in half.
He dove towards a building on the other side of the street, throwing the dead Chitauri soldier towards other soldiers. The Chitauri Soldiers fired at him. The Hulk backhanded them, seizing them and with raw power power, threw them down.
In his most powerful leap yet, the Hulk flew up and was in the middle of a flying chariot traffic jam, to which he smacked them out of altitude.
Empire State Building
Thor grabbed onto the tower. Raised Mjolnir and KRAKAKABOOM! A blinding bolt of lightning struck down from above, colliding on Mjolnir. Thor aimed this massive shockwave towards the portal.
Thor channeled the blast and fired the electricity out at the Chitauri Soldiers flying out of the portal. They were blasted back in a massive shockwave. The Chitauri Soldiers convulsed, dropped dead to the ground. He even ripped up a Chitauri Leviathan, which then exploded.
Helicarrier Bridge
Back in the bridge, Fury saw on his viewscreen the destruction going on in New York. Agent Hill walks up to him.
"Sir. The council is on." Hill said.
Fury pressed his screen.
Rooftop Building
Atop the rooftop, Hawkeye fired arrows into the streaming flow of the Chitauri riders, hitting his mark each time. He even aimed his bow behind him, without looking and released the arrow, exploding a rider.
"Stark. You got a lot of strings sticking to your tail." Hawkeye said.
"Just try and keep them off the streets." Iron Man said.
"Well, they can't bank worth a damn. Find a tight corner." Hawkeye said.
"I will roger that." Iron Man said.
Iron Man did so and lead towards tight corners and in Hawkeye's view, who fired arrow upon and arrow, exploding the Chitauri riders. Iron Man kept leading Chitauri riders under tunnels, through open parking garages. He looked back. None left.
Inside the Suit
"Nice call. What else you got?" Tony said.
"Well, Thor's taking on a squadron down on 6th." Hawkeye said.
"And he didn't invite me?" Tony said.
Office Building, Conference Room
In the conference room office workers sat around a table. But the noise had caught one worker's eye, then another, and soon they were all rising, stepping to the window, mesmerized by what lay beyond.
A Chitauri Leviathan swum right in front of them.
Suddenly, another noise caught the worker's attention. The Hulk crashed through their floor. Slashed his fist through the room, pounding away and jumped out onto the jaw of the Chitauri Leviathan. The Chitauri Leviathan began to head down, trying to wave off the Hulk.
Bridge Street
Kitsune, using the energy rifle, was taken off her feet by a Chitauri Soldier. She tiresomely took it down by cutting its throat. She grabbed the energy rifle, turned to attack. Captain America stood there, holding his Shield. She slumped back, tired.
"Captain, none of this is gonna mean a damn thing if we don't close that portal." Kitsune said.
"Our biggest guns couldn't touch it." Captain America said.
"Well, maybe it's not about guns." Kitsune gestured to the flying chariots.
"You wanna get up there, you're gonna need a ride." Captain America said.
"I got a ride. I could use a lift though." Kitsune said.
Kitsune backed up giving herself a running start. Captain America lifted and angled his Shield.
"Are you sure about this?" Captain America said.
"Yeah. It's gonna be fun." Kitsune said.
Kitsune ran at Captain America. Kitsune used her feet to run up the car and jumped up on Captain America's Shield, who gave her a boost with the Shield. She grabbed onto a flying chariot.
Kitsune climbed onto the chariot and cut the turret shooter's linkage to it. She then jumped on the rider and stuck her knives into his nervous system. She got him to bank over a building.
Iron Man arrived and shot any other Chitauri Riders following her. He made his way down to Captain America, who fought off more Chitauri Soldiers. Iron Man pointed his hand booster at his Shield. The energy came off and Captain America used it as a Reflection Beam and took down nearby Chitauri.
From above them, Hawkeye sent down remaining arrows. He sent one across the street, taking down a Chitauri Rider following Iron Man.
Finally, Thor and Hulk fough on top the back of the Chitauri Leviathan, tearing apart and fighting soldiers. Hulk broke off a massive piece of armor and slammed it down onto the spine of the Chitauri Leviathan. Thor raised Mjolnir, drawing lightning to it from all sides, and brought it down with a final terrible blow.
History Museum
The Chitauri Leviathan crashed into a history museum. Dead. Thor and Hulk stood on the back of the Chitauri Leviathan after bringing it down .They stood still, admiring. Hulk punched Thor with his enormous hand. Thor went flying. Hulk smirked.
Stark Tower
Selvig woke up from Kuri's mind control. He looked around, confused where he was. He looked up at the sky, amazed.
Bridge Street
Several Humvees aimed their mounted .50 Cal guns into the sky, firing and hitting Chitauri Riders. Captain America fought off a soldier who was pinning him down with its energy rifle. Captain America broke its leg. He stood up, picking up his Shield.
"Captain, the bank on 42nd past MADISON, they caught a lot of civilians there." Hawkeye said.
"I'm on it." Captain America said.
42nd Bank
Dozens of civilians were gathered in bank. Tension and uncertainty surrounded them. Three Chitauri Soldiers oversaw them, pointing their weapons at them. One of them charged a bomb. It beeped.
Captain America jumped through the window and threw his Shield at the Chitauri bomber. The two Chitauri Soldiers aimed their rifles, but Captain America headed for cover under a desk, which he kicked at them.
Captain America jumped over the desk, headlocked a soldier, while backhanding another one over the railing. The crowd moved away.
A Chitauri Soldier attacked him from behind and ripped off his helmet. The bomb was beeping faster.
"Everyone! Clear out!" Captain America said.
Captain America flipped over the soldier, grabbed his Shield and just as the bomb was about to go off, the Chitauri Bomber dove fore it, trying to stop it, but it went off, sending Captain America through the window, landing very hard on a car. The civilians looked up from below. They were okay.
Outside the Bank
Captain America got off the car, looked around the city. Destroyed. The police and firemen arrive, pulling out those civilians he saved.
A waitress looked back, thankful.
Helicarrier Bridge
Back in the bridge, Fury saw on his viewscreen the world security council.
"Director Fury, the council has made a decision." One of them said.
"I recognize the council has made a decision, but given that it's a stupid ass decision, I've elected to ignore it." Fury said.
"Director, you're closer than any of our subs, you scramble that jet..." Another said.
"That is the island of Manhattan, Councilman. Until I'm certain my team can't hold it, I will not order a nuclear strike against a civilian population." Fury said.
"If we don't hold them in the air, we lose everything." The first one said.
"I send that bird out, we already have." Fury shut off his viewscreen.
Manhattan
Kitsune, still driving the chariot with the rider, was hit at her side. She looked about, wondering whose energy fire it was, she looked behind.
"Oh. You." Kitsune said.
Kuri followed in hot pursuit. They raced downward, trailing between buildings. They raced madly, driving and dodging.
Rooftop Building
Hawkeye looks at Kitsune, astonished.
"Rei, what are you doing?" Hawkeye said.
"Uh... a little help!" Kitsune said.
Hawkeye pulled the trigger twice, nocked an arrow, and pointed it at Kuri, smiling.
"I've got her." Hawkeye said.
Hawkeye fired. The arrow streaked down the city, straight at Kuri's head. Kuri snatched the arrow out of the air, looked straight at Hawkeye, smiling. The arrow exploded in Kuri's face, crashing into the Stark Penthouse Pad.
Kitsune looked down and building her momentum, she jumped off the chariot, landed on top of Stark Tower, rolling herself to the edge.
Stark Penthouse
As Kuri looked up, shocked at what just happened, the Hulk was leaping up and kicked Kuri, hurtling towards the glass window. She collapsed as he hit the wall. The Hulk jumped in, ready to attack. Kuri rolled himself up in a flurry of broken glass, standing up to the Hulk.
"Enough! I am the Dark Goddess!" Kuri shouty. "Chaos is mine to command and you are nothing to me!"
Hulk grabbed Kuri by the legs and smashed her against the floor repeatedly and finally threw her aside to the ground, flattening Kuri.
"Puny Goddess," Hulk said.
Kuri whimpered in pain.
Stark Tower
Kitsune walked up the CMS machine. Selvig, slumped down, weakened, looked at her desperately. The Tesseract's energy was firing towards the portal, gaining in strength, at the surge of energy moving through the sky.
"Father," Kitsune said.
"Kuri's scepter, the energy...the Tesseract can't fight. You can't protect against yourself." Selvig said.
"It's not your fault. You didn't know what you were doing." Kitsune said.
"Well, actually I think I did. I built in a safety to cut the power source." Selvig said.
"Kuri's scepter." Kitsune said.
"It might be able to close the portal." Selvig looked down. He saw a gold gleam. "And I'm looking right at it."
Manhattan
Thor rode on top of chariot, smacking several riders with the hammer. As Thor took the reins, a Chitauri Leviathan crashed through a building, knocking him down to where Captain America was, fighting off Soldiers.
Iron Man flew right next to the Chitauri Leviathan and aimed his laser booster at it. Nothing.
"Sir, we will lose power before you cut through that shell." Jarvis said.
Iron Man flew up ahead, facing the oncoming monster.
"JARVIS. You ever hear the tale of Jonah?"
"I wouldn't consider him a role model." Jarvis said.
Iron Man flew towards the Chitauri Leviathan, unleashing every arsenal on the suit. The Chitauri Leviathan opened its mouth.
Iron Man flew in and burst out the other end, making the Chitauri Leviathan collapse. Iron Man rolled down the street. The wind was knocked out of him. He looked up with an overwhelming sigh as a small band of Chitauri Soldiers rushed towards him, holding out their rifles.
Rooftop Building
Hawkeye turned to fire his last arrow. Using his bow as a staff, he knocked some Chitauri Soldiers, before yanking his last arrow off the dead body.
Hawkeye nocked his arrow, dove down the building and fired his grappling arrow up into the side of building. Falling down, Hawkeye found the momentum and swung himself into a building and cannonballed in.
Manhattan
The Hulk held Chitauri Soldiers by the face and slammed them down. More kept coming. Hulk looked up. Hundreds of riders hovered over them. Then they began to fire energy blasts. Hulk took them, blocking the stream of streaking blasts.
Helicarrier Deck
A lone pilot sat in his cockpit, listening.
"DIRECTOR FURY is no longer in command. Override order, 7 ALPHA 11." The second world security said.
"7 ALPHA 11, confirmed. Prepare to takeoff." 7 Alpha 11 pilot said.
He ignited his engine.
Helicarrier Bridge
Back in the bridge, Agent Hill saw on her screen 7 Alpha 11 preparing to leave.
"Sir, we have a bird in motion! Anyone on the deck, we have a rogue bird! We need to shut it down! Repeat! Take off is not authorized!" Hill said.
Helicarrier Deck
Nick Fury ran out to the deck, holding an Airtronic RPG-7. He took aim and fired, hitting the tail end of the jet. The jet skidded off towards the edge. Pilot unharmed.
Suddenly, another 7 Alpha 11 Jet flew off. Fury stood there, knowing he couldn't do anything about it.
"Stark, you hearing me? We have a missile headed straight for the city." Fury said.
"How long?" Iron Man said.
"Three minutes, at best. Stay low and wipe out the missile." Fury said.
