Chapter 41

The next morning I feel someone running their fingers through my hair and kissing my lips tenderly. I smile and immediately kiss back before I even opened my eyes and when I finally did open them I just saw his beautiful piercing blue eyes staring at me with the sweetest smile on his face. He strokes my face with the back of his knuckles softly, I place a little kiss to them. I snuggle against his hard but soft chest.

"God, what was wrong with us last night?" I breathe breathless.

"I have no idea..." He answered quietly.

"I thought we got these sexual urges out of the way that first night here." I say.

"Well apparently not." He replied, we both giggled.

"God that was hot though! Whenever I think you can't be better you go and shock me." I tell him, as I press my lips to his pecks. "See and this is why I was so stunned when you said you were a virgin before me, I still don't know how that is possible, no one should be that good their first time!"

"Because it was with you...it was easy with you, it just feels right," He says softly making me look at him with his hands on my face, we smile at each other, "What do you think got into us last night?"

"...Maybe this time I just missed you so much and I wanted to be as close to you as possible." I answer looking at him as I rubbed his shoulder tenderly.

"Tell me about it, it's all I thought about when I was gone," He said.

"...Maybe I'm worried you won't come back..." I say out loud to him and to myself, it has become my worst fear! I lay my head back down not wanting him to see my sad face.

"Hey, I told you...I will always come back for you." He says making me look at him again.

"I know...but I still worry about you..."

"I know you do..." Is all he could say as he runs his fingertips on my shoulder.

"Do you have to leave again" I quietly ask him, I don't really want to know the answer.

"Well, no for now...but that can always change." He told me.

"Okay...I guess we'll just make the most of it right now."

"Absolutely." He smiled bringing my face up again for a sweet but passionate kiss.

"I love you Steve Rogers." I say softly as we pull away, it causes me to tear up a little. Why am I always crying?

"I love you too Iris." He says stroking my face, I lay my head back on his shoulder, I fall back to sleep for a little longer listening to his heartbeat.

The next day I am naked with the only thing half covering me was a sheet laying on my stomach with my legs bent in the air in bed biting my bottom lip as I am watching Steve fix the doorknob he broke from our passionate night. I couldn't stop thinking about how easy he broke it and how effortlessly he caught me from falling. There was also something so sexy about him doing manual labor, I don't know why!

"This was all your fault you know," He spoke out.

"How? Your the one that broke it!" I reply teasingly as I continue to bite my lip, I have the perfect view of his ass as he is bent over, I can see some skin on his lower back as his shirt is riding up just a little bit. God he could always get me hot and bothered without even trying, damn him!

"After constantly moaning for me to bring you into the bedroom, you were very determined." He replied looking over at me.

"Yeah! But only because you kept pleasuring me so much!" I tell him, he doesn't say anything, he just continues to look over at me with an evil smile, "Then you had to make it worse when you caught me from falling."

He finishes fixing the knob and walks over to me and bends over slowly to get closer to my face, "Well, there was no way I was going to let you fall." He smiles sweetly.

I don't say anything, I grab the collar of his white t-shirt and slowly pull him down more to kiss his lips, he holds the back of my head with one hand and the other is on the bed keeping his balance so he doesn't fall on me. While still kissing I pull him down more and force him to lay on the bed on his back, we both chuckle as I go on top of him and he puts both his hands on the sides of my face through my hair as we continue to kiss and our kiss stops being playful and turns into passion, but let's be honest it's always passionate! He lifts my head to kiss my neck, I close my eyes and exhale, loving the feeling of his lips on me. I can't wait any longer to feel his skin on mine, I rip off his shirt, I hear him give a low sexy sigh as I bring my lips back to his. I unbuckle his pants and pull them down, he rolls us over and goes on to of me, I hold on to him, throwing my head back as he's kissing my neck again going inside me, I take a deep breath.

After we finally get ourselves out of bed Steve and I are walking Luna, it was the only time I could get out of the cabin for a little bit. I loved walking with Steve, we would just talk and hold hands the whole time. My smile goes away though as we are walking back, we see a car parked in front of the cabin, it's Sam's. I immediately know what's coming next...Steve having to leave again.

"Hey." We both say as we walk in.

"Hey." Natasha says.

"Is everything okay?" Steve asked.

"Yeah, Maria found something." Sam spoke up.

"So soon? I think that's a record."

"I know, she was shocked too. Luckily it's not far away, it's in New Jersey." Natasha said, Steve looks at me and I give a reassuring smile. I am disappointed that he has to leave again so soon but I know that he has to and I am not going to make him feel guilty, he takes my hand and pulls me back so we can have some privacy, I smile at him. He doesn't look happy either that he has to leave.

We are in the bedroom as he is packing a few things, "I'm sorry, I thought I wouldn't have to leave so soon. You'll be okay?" He says with a frown.

"Yeah, I'll be fine." I smile.

"Sam or Natasha can stay with you."

"No, you need them more then I do. I'll be fine, don't worry about me." I tell him as he gives me another soft kiss.

"I'll be back as soon as I can, I can't guarantee when but..." He starts to say.

"You'll be back, I know." I finish his sentence, he gives me one last kiss before getting into the car. I watch them drive away, I go back inside not knowing what to do now. I was tempted to take up his offer with having one of them stay with me but what if something happened to them?

But luckily he came back the next night! He surprised me by kissing me while I slept! When I opened my eyes he had brought me beautiful flowers! It turned out that Maria's intel was a deadend again and he came back early to be with me!

It's the next night and we are cuddling on the couch watching a movie, I am laying on his shoulder as I start to feed him popcorn. I am about to put a piece of popcorn in his mouth but at the last minute put it in my mouth to tease him. I giggle but he glares at me "that's funny to you?" He says as he grabs the back of my head and kisses me hard, diving his tongue deep in my throat, I groan quite loudly since that was so hot! The kiss was sweet and salty!

"I'll be right back." I say softly, stopping him from kissing me again.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"I'll be right back..." I repeat teasingly, as I am getting up he grabs my arm and pulls me back again to kiss me again, I giggle in his mouth.

"You better not take long." He threatened.

"Why? What would you do?" I challenge, he grabs my face and kissed me VERY passionately again and pulls on my lower lip as we separate, I go in for another kiss but he sits back away from me.

"If you want some more of that, you won't take long." He threatened. I just smile at him as I stand up. I sway my hips knowing he's watching me continuing to tease him.

I smile going into the room and start to slip on something more sexy and comfortable, I want to show off my body for him. I put makeup on and fix my hair, I am starting to put on my boy shorts that really show my ass but my excitement goes away when I hear a crash in the other room. "Steve?" I speak out, I poke my head and I see someone in the cabin attacking Steve! The man has a gun and is trying to kill him. The man obviously attacked Steve from behind, I see the man point his gun at him and start to put his finger on the trigger, I go behind him and smash a lamp over his head, the guy goes down but is still trying to get up. I go in front of the man and kick him in the face as hard as I can and now he's knocked out.

"Steve? Are you okay?" I ask him.

"Yeah, thanks, you saved me."

"I guess I owed you one." I smile as he also smiles at me.

As we are approaching each other by the fireplace Steve sees in the corner of his eye another man walk in the cabin and points his gun at both of us. Steve pulls out a knife that he had hidden by the fireplace and throws it, the knife goes right through the man's hand and pins his hand on the back of the door, Steve goes to the man and knocks him out cold. The first man gets back up points the gun at me, Steve rushes to him but before Steve could reach and stop him in the he fires the gun, Steve kicks him in the face. I feel a sharp pain as I fall to my knees. Steve grabs the man's gun and shoots him twice. I feel my side and it's wet, all I see is Steve's worried face calling my name as I pass out from pain.

I wake up in a place I didn't recognize, I look around and start to sit up and winch in pain, I hold my side and notice that I'm bandaged up. Steve comes to me and stops me from sitting up any further.

"Whoa, take it easy, lay back." He says quietly.

"What happened?" I ask softly holding my side.

"I wasn't sure at first but somehow Hydra found out that Maria Hill was our spy. They attacked and tried to kill her..."

"Is she okay?"

"Yeah, she got away, she had been trying to get a hold of us." He told me.

"Where's Luna? Is she okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, she's in the living room, she wasn't hurt at all." He answers, I sigh in relief.

"How did they find us?"

"I don't know...but I think the intel that Maria found was a set up, followed us to the cabin..." He answered.

"You don't think she set you up, do you?"

"No, I think they wanted her to find it, it was a trap." He said confidently.

"Did I get shot?" I ask.

"Almost...luckily the bullet just grazed your side...Iris, I thought I lost you." He says softly, I could tell he was worried and very upset.

I touch his face, "Steve, I'm fine." I reassure him, he kisses my hand.

"You saved me tonight Iris...thank you."

"Well, your constantly saving me, it was only fair I save you once. And let's not forget you also saved me too tonight," I smile, "Thank you." He just smiles at me and takes my hand.

"Sam and Natasha should be here soon, you should get some more rest." He says as he has me lay back down fully.

"I love you Iris." He sweetly says, I smile as I am drifting off back to sleep, "I love you too." I fall asleep while he strokes my hair lovingly.

Just when you think they are safe and doing good, something bad has to happen! Let's see where this goes! I hope everyone is continuing to enjoy it!
